One of my favorite parts of any meal is the bread...I don't care whether it's a plain slice of white bread or a fancy homemade roll. I just love bread. But it takes so much time to make it from scratch that I can't be bothered! Once we found Sister Schubert's Dinner Yeast Rolls, I no longer felt like I needed to bake fresh rolls to keep on hand, which takes SO much work out of holiday and every-day meal preparation.

Sister Schubert Dinner Yeast Rolls come in a plastic re-sealable bag, so you can bake as many rolls as you need without thawing the rest out. Preparation is as simple as removing the rolls, baking them at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes, buttering the tops, and serving! Five minutes in a pre-heated oven is usually plenty, so the bottoms don't get too dark.

These rolls are fabulous! I have not tasted any other frozen rolls that are so close to homemade! Preparation is simple, they get rave reviews every time I serve them, and they are priced well. For 10 rolls,...

For a little something different to drink for our Thanksgiving meal, I purchased a 2-liter bottle of Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger Ale, a brightly-colored cranberry version of the traditional ginger ale. Also made with real ginger, just like the original "champagne of ginger ales," this soda packs an extra kick of tart cranberry flavor that complements the ginger flavor nicely. I paid $1.49 for the bottle, which is only available during the winter season, so if you decide you love it, stock up for the rest of the year.

If you compare the flavor combination to Cherry 7-Up, this is similar...the difference with Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger Ale is that the cranberry has a much stronger presence than cherry flavors in the 7-Up. It packs a lot of punch and one glass is usually enough for me. It works well with holiday dinners or as a stand-alone beverage. It's also caffeine-free, and not too sweet-tasting.

My sister had some Diet Snapple Singles On The Go drink packets in her house and when I saw them, I knew that I just had to try one. This is a very good diet drink ever made by Snapple. It is also a low calorie drink. One serving would be half the packet for 5 calories, but I use the full packet for my bottled water, which is 10 calories. This is so much better than drinking Kool-Aid, soda, and any other sugar-sweetened beverage. Plus, you can burn 10 calories very easily. There are a lot of plusses for this drink. I love Ice Cream, but not plain ice creams like Chocolate or Vanilla. I love my ice cream to have nuts, or chunks of things and I am not fond of ice creams that are just too chocolatey. While Edy's Peanut Butter Cup is chocolatey, it has just the right amount of chocolate that is does not over power the great taste of the peanut butter cup chunks.

The Flavor of Edy's Peanut butter cup Ice cream is creamy and rich, not too heavy the peanut butter cups are nice size pieces without being to large or too small. If the pieces were too small they would add a sandy texture, but being just the right size they make this a wonderful ice cream. I love that you can actually taste the peanut butter but that is doesn't take away from the chocolate.

The texture of this ice cream is smooth, chunky, with nice bites of peanut butter cup and not too sweet. Edy's would rival any of the more expensive ice cream brands. I would give this ice cream five stars and recommend it to others as wel as serve to guest...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy our time in the morning having coffee and talking, now that we are both retired this time has become very enjoyable and we look forward to it, so the coffee we choose is important to us, we had tried some of the more expensive brands like Starbucks and but the beans seemed to be over roasted and the coffee was FAR to strong and bitter. I ordered specialty coffees like Boca Java and Gevalia but the cost was outrageous considering that we did not find it any better than some of the less costly brands.

We ran across a review of coffees in Consumer reports and they recommended 8 oclock as one of the best for flavor and cost. Once we tried it we were sold and have not tried another brand since. This coffee is consistant in its flavor it is always good and never bitter. you can taste the coffee and not additives like Maxwell House or Folgers. we found that we could buy two packages of Maxwel House and each one tasted different, one was stronger than the other...

Stonyfield yogurt is the brand that comes closest to the yogurt I had in my childhood, when I lived in Spain. I am originally from Cuba, and as a child the only yogurt I ever had was homemade so, when I moved to Spain, my family continue having fresh yogurt at the table. What was amazing, while living in Spain, you can buy fresh yogurt at the store daily. When I mean fresh, it was! Organic with fruit or not the flavor was unbelievable. Later, when I came the US I tried so many different brands of yogurt, but I could not find that wonderful flavor I was used to until I tried Stonyfield now remember I said they come close good enough for me.

This protein water is all protein and no tast at all. it tast like nothing it has no tast to it, the kiwi Strawberry has a kind of tang tast to it. it's so not not good that i can't put my finger on just how bad it tast and smell for that matter. i think when we buy these things we tend to try to thing that they are all going to tast good and smell go but they dont and this one is one of them but all is not lost i have found one drink that is just great it is call v water with the and the liveing water they are great on tast and smell i love the red fruit they have no calories in them and they still tast great but the protein water dose not, i thought it might have benn just me but i did not think so because when i gave one to a fried of mine she agreed with me she said girl what in the @#32323 is this. I LOL and said one of those dite protein waters she said no thank you i will stick to my GREE TEA for protein.

I love using my crock pot - the food usually comes out so tender. But I hate the clean up. My ceramic pot is so heavy, and I still had to scrub the burnt-on food even after soaking it. I didn't want to use it very often.

That is, until I discovered Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners. What a help! A liner is placed into the crock pot and filled with food. Any leftover mess stays on the liner and is tossed into the garbage. The crock pot itself just needs a couple of quick swipes to clean it.

The box boasts that the Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners fit 3 to 6.5 quart round and oval slow cookers. They are a little large for my crock pot, but who cares? The one-size-fits-all package ensures that you're not stuck with too small liners that can't be used. There are 4 13 inch by 21 inch liners per box. Ever find out that a recipe has so many ingredients that your lid won't close tight? The instructions on the box tell you to pull the top of the liner over the rim of the bowl, but I've successfully pulled...

I like Hillshire Farms bratwurst sausages, because they are easy to make and taste good. Most often we grill the brats and have them on big buns with spicy mustard.

The Hillshire Farms Smoked Bratwursts are made with pork and beef, and I think they have an all beef version. That wasn't available at Food Lion when I went.

Off the top, I have to say I'm usually not keen on smoke added flavor, although there are some exceptions. If it's Liquid Smoke, then that is what it tastes like - not smoked - just fake smoke and nothing else similar. That, fortunately, was not the flavoring in the Hillshire Farms Smoked Brats. Still, it was not a real smoke taste or not like off the grill anyway.

We boiled our brats (well - simmered really) in beer with butter and onions like usual, and then put the brats on the grill. So, we got some of the grilled smoke taste too. But, the secondary smoke taste was there.

The smoked Hillshire Farms brats aren't bad. If you don't grill, you might like them for a change...

I discovered Genesis Today Acai Berry juice by accident.I was purchasing some orange juice for my kids at Walmart and saw with the corner of my eye this dark colored juice.I always wanted to try Acai berry something and saw this juice.It had great things on it that stated: supports energy levels,WEIGHT control!,skin hair and nails,and antioxidant levels.That was all good things for me to try and it was inexpensive.Now,the price for Acai berry vitamins or extracts espcially ones that are pure and such can be pricey,believe me I checked! So the price for this juice although a bit high wasnt too much of a scare for me,$6.98 for a 64oz bottle.I also found the same exact juice at Sam's Club for $5.88! So if your a member and wanna save some change then go get it there.This isnt a jucie to quench thirst this is like a juice you have 1 or 2 times a day,and more specifically for yourself,i would recommend keeping away from the kids, it gives a great energy boost(something kids dont really need,unless...

I usually always buy Duncan Hines German Chocolate Mix, however one time when I went to the store, they did not have the German Chocolate. I purchased another brand and made the cake for my family. They could tell the difference right away. Duncan Hines are so moist and taste so much better. I make a cake with the Dark Chocolate mix and add a can of cherry pie filling to the mix and eggs and stir, then bake same as regular cake. This is so good and it really takes so little time to put together. For frosting, I use a can of cherry pie filling and container of cool whip and this make a nice frosting, but not as heavy as regular frosting. You can use the Duncan Hines Angel Food Cake Mix and add a can of undrained crushed pineapple and make in 9X13 pan. Then frost with a drained can of pineapple and cool whip. This is very light and is accepted in the Weight Watchers program. There are so many things you can do with any Duncan Hines cake mixes. They have good receipes...

Disgusting! Isn't it funny how Starbuck's actually got started because they wanted to get Americans get away from bad coffee, including instant. They started out as a GOURMET coffee supplier. I know in the last few years (actually, since Harold took over) they have moved away from the gourmet and just concentrated on being the biggest, leaving quality by the wayside, but this is really the lowest they could have gone. This instant coffee is not worth the price. It does not taste good, it does not dissolve well and it is wayyyyyyyyyyyy tooooooooo expensive! I suppose it's easy and fast to make but if that's what you're looking for, just buy the cheap versions of instant coffee and do not spend the extra money. Because in the end it DOES taste like instant, not coffee and the quality overall is so much lower than what you could get from other coffee suppliers who are actually still gourmet coffees. My recommendation? if you want coffee, go for somethig good, like Peet's or Becking Coffee...

I have made Wanchai Ferry 3 times now in a week ! First, for my husband and I and we were so impressed , that I made it for two neighborhood families where the wife had just had surgery. Both families loved it...one keeps asking me for the recipe ! LOL
THe only thing I did, was take out the red chile peppers a little early in the cooking process , so that it wasn't too spicy (don't add just the seeds!) and I substituted my own long grain and wild rice for the white rice that it comes with...

An excellent value ! and truly, the sauce is just divine..

Thank you Wanchai Ferry ! Now I want to try another flavor....and the panda in your commercials is pretty funny...your commercial made me notice the brand.....

I love to try new things and rarely am I disappointed in anything chocolate or loaded with sugar. However, The Hershey Company's latest product, Hershey's Kisses Filled With Irish Creme, was a definite two thumbs down from this self-professed chocolate lover. I don't have a lick of Irish in me but I didn't think that would disqualify me from enjoying these new Kisses.

Irish or not, these Hershey's Kisses are pretty awful. Upon opening the bag, the aroma made my nose turn up and my gag reflex kick in. Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with the flavor and aroma of Irish Creme but the inside of the bag smelled like eggnog to me, which I do not like. There was also a hint of an alcohol-type aroma, which I assumed was the Irish Creme - blech!

I do not drink Irish Creme flavored coffee or liqueur, so obviously I had no idea what I was in for with my purchase of Hershey's Kisses Filled With Irish Creme. The picture of a chocolate Kiss filled with yummy-looking white creme...

I don't normally buy a lot of frozen desserts, but I could NOT pass up the Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Apple Turnovers when they went on sale for $1.99 at Kroger! Eac box contains four individual puff pastry triangles filled with a sweet apple (and a few raisins) filling. Directions say to bake the frozen pastries in a pre-heated oven, then remove and cool before eating.

Half-way through the 20-minute bake, I peeked at the turnovers and was a little worried because they looked awfully flat. But when the timer rang, they had puffed into golden-brown, bakery-perfect, flaky pastries with a gooey, not-too-sweet apple filling. I was amazed at how delicious these were for a frozen dessert! The puff pastry is buttery and crumbles perfectly in your mouth...no soggy outer layer, even when I ate a turnover baked the night before for breakfast! Although though the apple filling has raisins, which some people don't like, I only had 3 raisins in my whole turnover. They could have left...

Smart Balance Buttery Spread is the best tasting spread I have ever used and I am a butter lover! This spread does not only taste absolutely great, but it is very healthy for you as well. I get my Omeg's and soy all while enjoying this buttery spread. IT is great not only to eat like it is on toast but I bake with it all the time and the muffins and cookies taste every bit as good as regular butter without all the added cholestorol and bad fats. I also like the fact that you can either get it in an easy to spread tub,which comes in two different sizes or in sticks just like regualr butter. I just love this spread and had to share my discovery of this wonderful product with every one else out there. IT is also a good value for the money. This is one product I will stick with because it makes me feel that I am doing something good for myself. I can have the taste of butter and not feel guilty!

There are just certain things that I can not eat without catsup, AND it HAS to be Heinz, no other! We keep two bottles of catsup in our house Heinz for me and my children and Hunts for hubby, bleck. I will not eat a food I like with catsup if there is no Heinz available. Funny, when I go to a restaurant I look for what brand of catsup they use. They are usally okay in my book if they have Heinz. It has a great consistency, perfectly spiced, and a great tomato flavor. What more could you ask for?

The makes of Wateroos flavored water had a good idea, but the product just didn't turn out as well. I purchased a case of Wateroos when they were on sale hoping to find a healthier alternative to boxed juices.

The Wateroos website describes their product as "all natural, no sugar, no calories, no artificial anything." They go on to say it is "great tasting" and "not sugary sweet like juices." They were right about it not being sugary sweet, but WRONG when they say it is "great tasting". This was a horrible drink. My son attempted to drink a full box of it several times to see if he could get used it, as they say on their website. ("It may take a few tries for your kids to make the switch (from juice). Just think how many times it took to get your child to eat veggies.") We ended up returning what we could and throwing away the rest of the opened packages. This drink tasted like dirty water, with an even worse after taste. I would not recommend it to anyone.
