We had our mortgage with Everhome for many years. We were able to pay the mortgage off at the beginning of this year..2009. We never once had a problem with them in any way. I feel that often times complaints are made toward companies that are not only unfounded but complaints because they expected "special" services or were delinquint in their payments. When I called the home office to obtain a copy of our loan being paid off, they immediately took care of it and the gentleman whom I spoke with actually congratulated us as he knew I was ecstatic. I will always recommend Everhome Mortgage to others as being honest as well as efficient. J.Nixon

I was trying to purchase my first home and I had a very limited time frame due to my company's relocation. I had 40 days to be exact and I hadn't even started looking for homes yet. I was turned down by Bank of America and Prudential. I was about to give up when someone suggested Quicken. I called Quicken and was immediately approved. I was very skeptical as to why I was turned down by others and accepted by Quicken. I was also skeptical because they were an on-line company and I had such a short frame of time. Stephanie Thomas was the representative from Quicken who take care of me and she assured me the whole way through that everything would be fine. Once I found the home I wanted and the offer was accepted we had 24 days to close our loan. Not only did the process go by quickly and smoothly but we closed right on time! Stephanie Thomas called me almost everyday to let me know where the status of the closing was and exactly how the whole process worked along the way. Thank you...

Wanted to refi down to a low fixed rate, and roll in a HE loan balance also. Got a great 4.25% 10yr fixed, 0.25 points (the 'no points' loans require you to have escrow for taxes & insurance). Melanie M. was very professional, assured us we'd get a 0.125 rebate back on this at closing, and we did. Whole process took about 3 weeks. All the loan docs are online, easy to review. You can sign those electronically, and upload any required docs (paystubs, account statements for asset verification, etc.), so much easier than faxing all that back & forth. A few clerical error in docs but got those cleared up pretty quickly. Was a bit skeptical that we would close on schedule all worked out OK. Some of the fees were probably a bit high (appraisal, title insurance, ...); you can shop around on those, but is it worth the hassle when you're after a quick refi and don't want to loose your rate lock. My husband and I are extrememly conservative. We have always gone to the same bank for 23 years to aquire a loan. When I called Quicken loans after I saw the ad on T.V., it was just to get the current rate. Before I knew it I was processing a new home loan over the phone. It was all very safe and secure. When we decided to refinance our home, we went online and registered. Quicken Loans were the first company to call us. They called the next day. Brandon Lubick was very nice and explained everything to us. My husband is a truck driver so he sometimes had to make two calls. He was very patient and answered all our questions. He always answered his phone or called right back if we left a message. I was surprised he worked so much. His friendly tone made this a good time instead of being nervous about it. Quicken handled our loan very fast and the notary who came directly to our home for us to sign the papers was also very knowledgeable and friendly. When he didn't understand something, he called to make sure there were no mistakes. Brandon locked our loan rate in very quickly. We had a good experience with Quicken Loans and will tell anyone to use them!

It took GMAC 5 months to reject my refinance request. I question whether there may be something fishy going on as they also own the original loan. During the 5 months, they constantly requested new updated materials as the old ones expired due to their slow response. I've resubmitted everything from paystubs to homeowners association minutes due to this. Evidently, GMAC is concerned about where dogs are pooping around my condo.

In the past 3 years, I've payed off 100,000 dollars of debt between student loans and mortgage. My credit score is 770. My property is appraised at 152000 and I owe 108000 on it. Yet I was still rejected for being a credit risk even though they were the original financers of the loan.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage stinks! Our mortgage was sold to them a few months after our very first home purchase. After a year, they raised our mortgage payment over $200 a month, they said it was based on the predicted expenditures for that year needed for escrow. I said that it doesn't make sense since our taxes should be lower since our house is worth less than half of it's worth from the previous year according to our tax assessment. I know, the market stinks, but then they said they would pay back anything overpaid at the end of the year after taxes are paid. Well, I would rather pay my own property taxes. They have the nerve to say that I can't pay my own bills. I was on the phone with them 3 times today. The first time they said I couldn't. Then I did research and found out I could so I called back. Then they said they would transfer me to someone that had authority to do it. I sat on hold for 58 minutes and 30 seconds before I hung up. Before I actually hung up, I called on...

My husband and I, who recently purchased a home a year ago, were interested in refinancing since the rates were so low. Our Quicken Loans Client Care Specialist, Andrew Shell, was really helpful and willing to answer all of my questions, no matter how many times I asked for clarification to make sure we were making the right decision. He always seemed to be in a good mood and always willing to take time to talk with me. The only thing that became a little confusing was when we started to really get into the loan process and we had 2 other Quicken Loans Specialists, from a different state that Mr. Shell, and it became confusing and frustrating at times because I was repeating myself to a number of people if each person wasn't communicating with one another. However, other than that, the loan process was easy and the Client Care Specialists walked us through everything. My refinancing experience was very good and outstanding. A few years ago I tried to do the same kind of business with another mortgage company that had an agressive TV advertisement and I couldn't get through. Mr. Russell Yodzio of Quicken Loans had the knowledge and was committed in helping me in order for the process to go smooth. Everything was done in the correct manner; in a few days I had the approval and in two weeks I was doing the paperwork (signature) in my one home! I would'nt hesistate to recommend Quicken Loans to anyone. It seems that they are "Committed to excellence".

My husband and I had been looking for a home for our family for over a year and a half, with deal after deal falling through. By chance I goggled; online mortgage lenders just to ask general questions which lead me to Quicken. Vanessa Rivas called shortly after filling in our personal information; she was very pleasant and tried to find the answer to my question. I was little reluctant at first but I went ahead and let her pull our credit. To make long story short the service we received was outstanding despite the negative comments we were receiving about and internet finance company. Both the selling realtor and our realtor was very impressed at how smoothly the process went, to the point they said that would also recommend Quickens to all of their clients. You can track the approval process the only down side to this is that you cannot Thank the people face to make that make your dream come true. My family and I were able to move into our in less than 30 days of applying...

We had been trying to refinance for quite sometime and spoke with several banks and lenders. They either couldn't get us the loan we wanted, the closing costs were too high or they lacked professionalism which is extremely important to me. Out of desperation, I filled out some forms on the internet to "find the best rate" and contacted by several companies. Quicken Loans was the first company to contact me and I was hesitant to go with an internet company but I must say....I love them and will work with them again. Andrea Ashely was professional and explained things in terms I understood. She listened to what we wanted to do, took into consideration our finances and what our 5 and 10 year goals were with our house. She found a loan that met all our needs, the paperwork was so easy, and our loan closed in no time.

We had a great experience with Quicken Loans. Having everything online was so convenient, efficient, and just made sense for us. With our busy schedules being able to log on and do things in our own time was very helpful. Mario Ingraffia was a great help in explaining to us all of our options and helping us find what made the most sense for us for our refinance. He was on top of things and made the process very smooth. When we did come to small bumps in the road he was willing to work through things with us and figure out the best solution. When it came time to sign our closing documents Quicken sends a notary to your house who very quickly gets you through your paperwork. All together it was a very quick and painless process. We would definitely use Quicken Loans/Mario Ingraffia again and would recommend him to others!

I recently refi my home mortgage with Quicken. I got a great rate, just because my original bank sold of my mortgage to Quicken and in the process, they paid couple of points to reduce the rate and paid for closing costs. I dealt with one of the Quickens portfolio manager out in Michigan. I am based out of California. However, I must say the process went extremely smooth and I am just amazed with the efficiency of the system. Most of the application process is on-line and the tools are very straightforward to use. I had to fax couple of docs. In general, It was great experience dealing both with people and tools.

From the beginning of my experience with Quicken and Loans and my banker, Brian Dangelo I had a short but wonderful experience. When I say short, it is because all steps were handled very efficiently and with the utmost courtesy. I was never left with questions, all aspects of the process were explained thoroughly and completely. I would defiantly recommend Quicken Loans, and especially my banker to friends and family as I believe Quicken Loans handled the entire business transaction very professional.

Was apprehensive after filling out a web survey for "Lower My Bills," and receiving dozens of e-mails and phone calls from numerous lenders. A little overwhelming. Bedford Boone left a good impression, though, so we pursued refinancing with him. He was able to secure a very low interest rate refinance loan combining our 1st & 2nd mortgages, with no PMI, and great responsiveness. We went from 5.75% and 8+% to 4.5% FHA. When it came time to close, all of a sudden, it appeared we would have to pay PMI. Bedford dug in, found the issue, and resent closing documents directly to the individual closing our loan just in time with no PMI. Only down side was the submitting the paperwork - there seemed to be issues with communication/info sharing between the client care specialist and the underwriters, resulting in some unnecessary delays. It would be helpful if Quicken gathered all possible contact phone numbers and shared them with each other. In general, though, there were enough...

My experience with Quicken Loans was just like the title, Quick. After starting with Flagstar, and having them drag their feet for a month, I was convinced to go with Quicken. Daniel Limberg was my loan specialist, and his communication throughout the whole process was excellent. He was always there to answer my questions, and didn't make empty promises, and treated me as an equal or better. This is how it should ALWAYS be. All the online information gathering was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Quicken Loans to anyone looking for a mortgage.

Our banker was Rannie Bawab and this was the second time we re-financed with his help. As with the first re-fi, he was excellent and helped us through the loan approval process with consideration for our schedule needs. Unfortunately, after he handed us off to the "closing team," things got more difficult. We had asked for a closing on Oct 1, which he had arranged for, but the closing team said it would cause problems. They shipped our closing paperwork "overnight" for our review and it arrived the day after closing. In fairness to them, "overnight" to this area of Texas is not overnight, but I tried to explain this, to no avail. When we went to closing, we were told that we could use a blank check for an electronic funds transfer of the equity. Of course, we didn't have a check. Who carries check books anymore unless they know they need it? The paperwork was done incorrectly, with one of our names entered twice on every document. Started working with Chris Behrns, who did not do a very good job with our loan. We then requested a new Portfolio Manager and were assigned a rep named Mike Bobbish, who was a bit more helpful. At times it seemed he was at the mercy of the process, but all and all he did the best he could to clean-up what was clearly not his mess. Now on to the closing...Jason Shields (Client Care Specialist) did a great job and should be commended for salvaging this deal. His constant communication and upfrontness is what kept me engaged as we moved closer to closing. As for the closing itself, all went well for the most part. There was a breakdown in communication with the closing rep (Brian-Closing Specialist), but his Director-Closing Team (Janelle) saved the day by nipping the issue quickly and making sure we could finish the deal without any further incident. My perception is that when these Portfolio Managers have deals that differ a bit from more mainstream loans (easier loans) as well...

I had gone to a few refinancing sites and filled out their forms to get a call back from a rep for their company. Less than 8 hours later I got a call from Quicken Loans. The other companies called over the next 2 weeks and none could match the rates that Quicken Loans was able to. Quicken Loans had arranged the appraisal less than 3 days later and had our paperwork off to the underwriters by the week's end. About 3 weeks later, we were signing the closing on our refinance. WOW! These guys were on top of their game! Plus, any questions I had were promptly answered and their online site is top-notch! The only caveat is that Quicken Loans sold my mortgage to another lender before our first payment, so we now have to deal with another lender which has some big shoes to fill, but I do not anticipate any problems at this time.

Our advisor, Sam Bazzi, was extrememly nice, however also said that we would only pay $1700 out of pocket for our refinance. That was not the case. He also stated that we would receive $1700-2000 back from Wells for cashing out that escroe account. We only got back a little over a $1000.

Just be honest about the closing costs and WHERE the money is coming from and you'll be fine. It was only costing us $1700 because of the money that we were transferring over from Wells to Quicken, and reinvesting our bonus 'missed mortgage payment' back towards the principle. NOT because of a 'discount' you were giving us. There's a difference. We paid over $2500 out of pocket and our principle went up. You never said that you were tacking more money onto the base amount of our loan. Way to hide closing costs. At least be honest about it and we would have been fine! We know how it works. Instead, the process wasn't necessarily about lying, but about 'leaving the details out'....
