This card is the best for rewards. I don't like to use charge cards, but I used this one for gas and groceries and then paid it off all the time. I earned close to 300.00 to use at Disney after just using this card for one year. It was so nice to be able to get the reward card and use it for souvenirs. Didn't have to save up money for souvenirs. You also get the special character photo taken. Can't ask for better rewards than...

TraderGeorge says "Amazing initial offer" about Chase - Chase Mileage Plus Platinum Business

The Chase Mileage Plus Platinum Business Visa just became my sixth Visa from JP Morgan Chase. It has no annual fee for the first year, and a $75 fee thereafter, but the second year also comes with 6,000 aditional miles. I earn 2 miles for every dollar spent on United Airlines and 1 mile/dollar spent on everything else. With my first charge I got a 21,000 mile bonus credit to my United Airlines Mileage Plus Account. I used to figure the Mileage Plus miles to be worth about $0.02 each based on a ticket to my timeshare in Hawaii being $700 or 35,000 miles. With higher fuel prices driving ticket prices higher, those same 35,000 miles now save me about $1800 in air fare, so the 21,000 miles credit are worth about $0.05 each, making the initail bonus worth over $1,000 in real money. Combined with the 15,000 miles Chase gave me for opening a home equity line last fall, I am going to Hawaii for free on Chase. — (My home equity line...

I love this card. Some other cards only give you credit when you keep a balance, which is not what I do, and this card gives you credit on every purchase. The credit goes twards the purchase of a new or used vehicle which when you are looking for a new vehicle its great to know that you can take a couple of hundred or thousand off the price of the car. I use this card for all purchases and then pay the bill at the end of the...

I have had a really bad experience every time I call up citibank helpline. Firstly they have thousands of verifications to ask, to start with your credit card no (even after entering it), then the birth date, then the address. Giving address is another story! If I miss 1 line, "Sorry madam, the address does not match our records, please read the statement and tell us the exact address"!! Same response is heard if you forget to mention "Opposite Pizza hut" line. Or even if the PIN code is not given, they do not budge! If I end my address verification at Borivli - 92, she asks, "Which city madam?" Duh!!! — After the address stage is passed, then the last 2 transactions. The individual payments that I have done is not accepted by them, they need the total billed statment amount. And if you fail to give them, they say please get those details and give us a call back!! Horrible!! — When you are kept on hold, its not just a minute or two, more than 5 minutes (calculated), and...

Approximately 80% of my household purchases are transacted online. One of the most insidious disadvantages in visiting web sites is the increased problem of credit card and identity theft. Generally speaking, reputable websites secure their transaction pages with encryption technology to thwart computer hackers. However, there is always some risk involved in typing in your credit card information onto a web form. That's why it's important to have additional security to make the job of potential thieves more difficult. — Citibank has introduced the Citibank Virtual Account Number (VAN), which gives its customers the ability to generate a credit card number with a dollar and/or time limit. This improves online security because it ensures that no one will be able to charge more to the virtual account number than the amount that you set. Here's how it works: — I find a $29 sweater that I want to purchase. I put the sweater...

One of two known cards that let you earn >1 mile/point per dollar spent. Well, to be truthful, you do earn only one point per dollar spent on regular purchases. The advantage that moves this to 1.25 miles per dollar spent is when you redeem for frequent flyer miles in 20,000 point increments. At that redemption level Amex moves 25,000 miles into the slected frequent flyer account. Other highly worthwhile advantages to the card are a reasonable annual fee, and the warranty extension offer. All purchases made using the card get their warranty doubled up to one additional year, at no add'l charge. We've successfully and painlessly replaced microwaves, vacumn cleaners, and expensive coffee machines using this program, making up the annual card fee for many years to...

Gas prices are soaring all over the United States and many consumers are looking for any means possible to reduce the cost of gasoline, even if the reduction is only a small amount. Many grocery store chains offer immediate discounts of 10 cents per gallon at their own gas pumps provided a minimum amount of grocery purchases have been made. This 10 cent discount is better than nothing, but in percentage terms, it is not very valuable any more, not with the cost per gallon well over $3.00 is most every city in the United States. — For those looking for another way to save money on gasoline, one of the options to consider is a gasoline credit card. There are several available, and most of them are directly affiliated with a specific gasoline company. Let's take a look at some of the credit card options available for those who want to save a little cash at the gas pump: — 5. Chase Speedway SuperAmerica MasterCard: No annual fee and a 5 percent rebate are among the features...
