Bought the Sylvania 20" flat screen for a replacement TV in our motor home to eliminate having to monkey around with an added digital box next year. We have a compartment for the tv, so it had to be a certain size to fit in. It has a digital tuner so we should be able to get good tv with the antenna on the camper. Have used it a few times and so far, so good. It does have a nice picture and color and is easy to operate. So we are looking forward to next summer....

I PURCHASED A BROKSONIC 32" LCD tv 4 MONTHS AGO I went to turn it on today and it just gives me vertical bars and shuts off. Upon reading the warranty it only covers the first 90 days labor and 1 year on parts. I did not buy the extended warranty . However upon reading the warranty even if I purchased the warranty I have to ship it back to Broksonic at my expense oh and with an $80.00 check. (I don't ,know what that was for sendiung it back to me maybe?) Anyway anyone can get a lemon and maybe this it. But I think I will stick to name brands..
...

heathentart's Full Review: Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-20FS120 20" TV
I was mad as a peahen when my two-year-old Magnavox bit the dust. It would cost more to repair it than I paid for it, so started the search for a replacement.
I scoured the web, asked all my friends and kept hearing and reading "Sony WEGA, Sony WEGA."

Please understand, up front, that I'm not a techno-wonk. I want quality, I want longevity and I want it for a good price. Not being a sports fan, I wasn't interested in blowing several hundred dollars on a plasma or LCD. (Bigger is not always better.)

After scouring all the electronics stores in NYC, and seeing the various manufacturers' offerings, I kept coming back, time and again, to the Sony WEGA Trinitron. The only size I could use was the 20", as this was for the armoire in my bedroom.

This 20" packs a LOT of punch for its smaller size. The screen is truly flat, so I can see a fairly undistorted picture from any angle. The picture is glorious - that's the only word that...
...

Gus81 says "Great HDTV with great flexible options." about JVC - AV-34WP84 Television

I got this JVC HDTV model a few years ago, and works quite well with its many options. It doesn't have a digital cable TV tuner as newer digital TVs, but it does allow for HDMI input and component video, which allows for crystal clear digital picture quality and easier use of widescreen picture for DVD players and HD receivers. Also offers quite a variety of digital enhancing effects. If there's a minor problem, it's that the picture quality coming from a traditional video sources like a VCR or regular cable seems quite degraded compared to connecting to an HD receiver and DVD player, but that's no problem with the digital TV transition. All in all, a fantastic product....

The Reason well there were two Reasons why I brought the Set. The Only Brand was RCA

in 20" TV's and it was RCA in which I had Good Luck with. It was a Flat Tube and it was

nice looking which also influenced my my Decision as I could have went some other Place.

I didn't and I Brought One and it is a Nice TV. Nice Picture and Sound Quality as I Turned

it on the 1st Time. It was on a Managers Special which made the Sale Better. I would have

Paid up to $250.00 as that would be my Top Price I would pay for a 19" to 20" Set. The

only Thing is the Controls are mounted on the Top Right Corner, which is not the best

Place to have easy Access to Them or to See Them. The Black Color of the Whole

TV makes them not easy to See but that is the Only Minor Drawback. The Remote

is also Black and takes a little getting use to also a little Hard to See at First. Once

You get used to the Set & Remote it is a Good TV and I am Very Satisfied with It. The

Purchase Price of $160.00 During the Employees Special Made it...
...

This isn't an LCD or Plasma Screen, in fact it's brighter and will outlast either one of those. Another nice thing is you can view it from literally any angle and get a nice bright picture. Unfortunately, these High Def Tube TV's are getting harder to find, but they are very reasonably priced when you do.

This particular model is extremely versatile with several video inputs (some TV's only have one!) that allow you to connect the TV to several devices simultaneously. I only wish it had two HDMI connectors.

This unit is heavy - can't be mounted on a wall like the thinner LCD/Plasma screens BUT you will pay around half the money for the same size screen.

Since this is such a well-made unit, buying a used one is not out of the question. The tube should last at least ten years (unlike many LCD/Plasma screens, particularly older ones that dim or burn out in a few years.)

There are too many features in this model to mention them here, but I find I never use most of them. One I wish it had is screen...
...

They are durable, well built, and the Sony color is so nice. However they are not as dominant in the market as before because of their ridiculously high prices. Sony can do much better in the market by reducing their prices to their competitors' level.
...
About 2 years ago we bought a KONKA 80cm CRT TV due to my failing sight. I was struggling to read the subtitles on SBS & the music files on Rage & jtv.

"I'm don't want to spend more than $400 on the unit." I told my partner, Rocky !

I took about a month watching & bidding on EBAY, then swooped when I saw the KONKA. Only just on 2 years old then, it was just the thing for me ! A bargain at $350 !
We drove southwest for an hour in a 2 tonne open cage truck from Rocky's workplace & when we found the residence, we saw that the sellers had moved it to the top of their drive & supplied some blankets for us for the journey home. We hoped & prayed it wouldn't rain or topple over & get damaged.
It has two CD storage cabinets holding 88 CD's in total. With shelves at the rear of these, it definitely can hold all the bits & pieces that you may want to use with it-cables, ear or headphones, connections etc. Below the TV are 2 partitioned areas for DVD, DVcamera......

When I first bought this television back in 1999 I did so because it was on sale, had a large screen (for the time) and my Dad owned one. I got it as a display model so not only did I get the sale price, but another $35 knocked off because it had no box.

I am not writing this review so everyone will run out and buy this television, but to inform people of the quality that Sanyo has put into this product. This thing is a BEAR to handle by yourself at 108lbs it is not a lot of fun even with 2 people for that matter. When I bought this it was to the largest screen that you could get in a tube tv. Being the owner of a 31" set meant all your friends were over to watch football on Sunday!

The Facts

At 31 inches you can see all the detail you want and in very rich colors as well. Being cable ready with RCA jacks to hook up a surround system you can hear everything very well. At 108 lbs the kids won't be knocking it off the tv stand either. Now I know that Ford Motor......

I had a 10 Year Old Goldstar from Korea Which I was Surprised with How the Sound was

Loud and a Good Tv. I went to my Local Electronics Store and they were Remodeling and

they had very Little and I went to another Location. I Walked in and asked where the

Smaller TV's were I Went their. I saw a few other Brands and they seemed Okay and I

saw this Silver Cabinet and slightly Curved Design and that caught my Eye. I saw the

Price Tag and the Salesman came over and i asked a few Questions. I liked this Sony

the best and I brought it. I got it Home and Hooked in my antenna & Video Connections

and Turned it On to a Beautiful Picture and High Quality Sound. I was Impressd and

Happy with my New Television Set. You can add more Stuff like a DVD Player or VCR.

with Front & Rear Jacks. It even has a Clock in the Display. it only has a Remote that is

not the best Design and they no longer have Mult- function Remote Controls as I think

the Industry is going in that Direction not to include Smart Remote Controls....
...
