Broksonic CCVG-3276 LCD TV

After six months, the screen goes black after a minute of operation. The sound continues until a channel change is attempted, then it goes out as well. Power cycling the unit will work for shorter periods of time, until it does not come on at all. It is indicative of a component overheating or protection response.

This was a very disappointing purchase. The company only services the TV in NYC so you will have to ship it back there at your own expense in order to repair the unit. And, only parts will be covered, so you will also have to send Broksonic a check for $80 to cover the labor and return shipping. This does not appear to be a very reliable television or reputable company. I would recommend not doing business with Broksonic.

My dad came home with this SANYO Television. My fiancee had to help himm bring it into the house becuase it was so heavy and big.When they finally got it in because itwas so heavy, they placed it in the our new entertainment center and it looked great. Even though it is extremely heavy and my fiancee and my dadalways have a hard time moving it when we move i wouldnt trade it in. Even though me and my fiancee are looking into a getting a flat screen we stll plan to keep this one and probably put into my sons room. This tv is good to leave in one place, its not a tv that you can move around and change your room around because it is too heavy unless you want to break your back or scratch your floors if you can even push it around, Built very tough and it has great vibrant colors that are good for childrens shows and movies. My dad got it at great price and it has lasts for years and it will last for many more years.

Had the worse luck with this TV, originally we thought it was a good buy and it was until after only 2+ months of use it got the "blue screen of death' disease. So we get it fixed while under the warranty, and after 2 weeks the audio died sooooooooooooo we try again. This time we had to ship it back and the process was totally absurd, we demanded our money back but RCA told us they could only do it under their 'buy-back' program so we had to wait almost 3 months for our own money to be credited back to us. RCA NEVER EVER AGAIN!

This is not a good policy and the entire experience was truly rediculous, I'd give this item NO stars if I could so i'm giving it a negative star rating.

Coby - TF-TV506 Portable Television... this particular product, unfortunately, did not perform well at all.. I probably should have expected this I guess, being that I bought it at Big Lots. the television itself is not so bead looking, it's actually pretty cute, but the connector on the back side where you plug in the cigarette lighter adapter, and the a/c adapter, you know to actually plug it in, is clearly not wired properly. When I tried to use it the third time it would not stay turned on, clearly, as I am relatively tech savvy, it has a short in the connector, as when I moved the plug a bit where it goes into the connector on the back it came back on. the exact same problem occurred with both plugs, the cigarette lighter adapter, the one that plugs into your vehicles outlet, and the a/c adapter, that's the one that plugs into the wall outlet,so clearly it had nothing to do with the plugs themselves. Unfortunately I would not recommend this Coby - TF-TV506 Portable Television...

Excellent sound with no picture. What? This is so upsetting I purchased 32 inch television and less than 5 months I am without the $400.00 television I purchased as an upgrade for my new house and that is past disappointment, on top of that I have warranty 12mnths labor 12mnths and carry in service only the store which i purchased the television from broksonic would not allow them to service the television so i can't use the carry in service and repair locally I live in Georgia and their repair center is in New York and they told me that I had to ship it to them and that they would fix it there and ship it back to me, HA, but get this I have to pay to ship it there and they will ship it back to me. What the heck?

WOW! I bought this Sanyo TV "Brand New In Box" on Ebay and of course, even though I could buy it cheaper now but I am still very extremely pleased with my purchase. This TV has a clear, crisp picture, true to life great colors and is the perfect size for my bedroom. Even my 3 1/2 year old great Grandson has no problem using the remote! The TV was as easy as pie to hook up to my DVD/VCR player which is also a Sanyo by the way! I have a Zenith TV in my living room and when it goes kaput I am pretty sure that I will be replacing it with a Sanyo when the time comes. (Hopefully that is a long way off though!) I have watched TV on several other brands of HDTV's but none seem to quite compare with my Sanyo. Several members of my family have commented on it and my daughter even went out and bought the exact same TV for her bedroom and is quite pleased with hers also. All in all, I would venture to say that this TV is a fantastic buy for anyone in the market for a new television. ...

This is a great TV for the money. I've had my Sanyo TV for over 5 years, and not had a single problem with it. I love the universal remote, but have started using direct TV & now use that remote instead. This TV offers very clear picture quality, and true color depiction. Sound quality is great, even when the volume is turned way up by by husband or young daughter! You don't get that horrible vibration sound. I plan to keep this TV until it croaks or is no longer compatible with cable/dish/dvd player or VCR (yes, I still have and use my VCR on occasion). Sure it's not a flat screen, but it works great. I wish people would stop ditching good stuff for the latest new & improved things. We are creating too much waste people! I have had very good luck with everything I have ever purchased from Sanyo, which is what prompted me to buy this brand of TV. It's a good TV for the price, wasn't cheap, but value-priced I'd say. It has a few extras, like sleep timer, and different...

About a year ago, I purchased my Magnavox TV/VCR/DVD player in a local pawn shop. I really wanted a TV that had the option of the old-fashioned VCR player and also the DVD player in it, and I found it after a bit of a search. Being that it was used, I thought I would have my issues with it, but actually, it worked perfect and the screen size is just right. It is rather bulky, but that doesn't bother me too much. I have a slight problem with the VCR from time to time that I've got the knack of. [You can only get it to play if you use a remote, press stop, then rewind, then play quickly. I figure it was an issue from the last owner, perhaps.] The quality of the screen is pefect, and I don't even have issues with DVD's that usually skip on different players. It's the kind of TV that you keep in one place and don't move a lot, because it really is pretty heavy, but wherever you put it, it looks great! The Phillips 19 in. TV is a good basic TV for a spare room or bedroom. The picture is good as is the sound quality. I find the remote unit difficult to navigate. The top and bottom of the unit are similar so I frequently try to use it upside down. The many buttons are too close together and are barely distinguishable from one another. Another problem is that the on-screen print is white and extremely difficult to read against thebackground. For example, when setting volume or sleep function, it is difficult to read the sound or minute level shown on the screen. Dispite these problems, the Phillips TV was reasonably priced and I am with the picture and sound.

In April of 2008 I purchased a Broksonic model #CCVG-3276 TV. On March 14 2009 the tv simply shut off while watching it. I removed the back cover and found a fuse that was bad in the main power supply board, I replaced the fuse and immeditely the fuse blew again, after testing the board I found the power supply circuit to be bad, so the tv would need a new power supply board. I have only owned a few tv's in the past and never had problems with them so I found this surprising. I contacted Broksonic and they basically told me that I would have to purchase a new part or send the tv back for repair, they would not consider replacing the part free of charge (or even at a discount). I know that the warranty is only 9 months and the tv blew just out of warranty but I am disappointed that they were not willing to do anything I know they don't have to but it definately shows me that keeping their customers happy is not their priority. I will definately not buy another product from them again and......

I'm having to move soon and must jettison many of my belongings. The Sony Wega 20" must go, which makes me very sad. I am an English and Cinema major, and I've spent many happy hours in front of my television watching DVDs – the Wega was with me when I fell in love with 'Mean Streets,' 'Barton Fink,' and Derek Jarman's 'The Tempest.' It was there when I rediscovered 'Johnny Dangerously' and 'The Quite Man.'
Also, I'm very clumsy, and I have moved a lot. The Wega has survived being thrown into a truck bed and falling off a kitchen chair where it had been hastily dropped.
I only stumbled onto this web site while trying to decide how much I should try to get for this television – especially since I got it for almost nothing at a department store that was going out of business.
Now I'm sad.

We bout the Sanyo 31" Tv in early 2003 for the bargain price of around $260 from Wal-mart. We had it on layaway for a month till we got our apartment and have since moved it 8 times, one was a cross country move and this thing is still going strong! My kids have done you name it to this thing... hubby knocked it over, It was badly transported by our movers and stored for a month and still... has a perfect picture. We have other Sanyo TVs and they are just as tough! the 13" gaming TV I have had for 7 years is still good after at least 10 moves and being kocked around.

We plan to buy a larger TV when hubby gets promoted and it will also be a Sanyo , although a HGTV flat panel. We hope we get the same service out of new one as we have all our other Sanyo's!

The Philips 52PFL7422D/37 52" LCD TV's engine produces a "perfect pixel" picture when channels with variable picture quality are selected from my cable provider. The picture quality with the automatic dynamic control of contrast to color provides viewing all channels with an excellent picture. The SD stations are clear and the channels with programming in HD have outstanding picture quality.

The USB connection allowed a software upgrade in January of 2008 to correct a problem with the picture when I attached a HDMI cable to my TiVo. Philips' website explained the problem and provided a download to my computer's USB connection for transferring the software to the TV. I am pleased with this TV's ability to upgrade future software changes.

Bought the Sylvania 20" flat screen for a replacement TV in our motor home to eliminate having to monkey around with an added digital box next year. We have a compartment for the tv, so it had to be a certain size to fit in. It has a digital tuner so we should be able to get good tv with the antenna on the camper. Have used it a few times and so far, so good. It does have a nice picture and color and is easy to operate. So we are looking forward to next summer....

I PURCHASED A BROKSONIC 32" LCD tv 4 MONTHS AGO I went to turn it on today and it just gives me vertical bars and shuts off. Upon reading the warranty it only covers the first 90 days labor and 1 year on parts. I did not buy the extended warranty . However upon reading the warranty even if I purchased the warranty I have to ship it back to Broksonic at my expense oh and with an $80.00 check. (I don't ,know what that was for sendiung it back to me maybe?) Anyway anyone can get a lemon and maybe this it. But I think I will stick to name brands..

This 27" RCA television is a great value. It has v-chip which I use frequently. I like the speakers on the sides. Great picture quality. Great price. I would recommend. Easy to use menus. Easy to use remote. Has rca inputs. Great for any video gamer. I personaly use this to play video games. I also use for my child's dvd's....

the tv/vcr combos work real well, especially for camping and gaming

I would recommend the product. kids have great fun using the plug n play games.

the picture and sound quality are real good. The tv is portable and fits in small spaces

storage is easy because it is so compact. the tv itself is a little heavy but not a big deal at all

use in kids room,den.dorm room,camper or anywhere you need an extra tv/vcr

Most of the large furniture items I own were given or donated to me, including my JVC television. Although I appreciate all the stuff I have received, this television is okay but I still would prefer a larger one. I mostly watch sports and news or reality shows, so I guess it is okay. Mechanically, it works great and I have never had any problems with it so far....
