The picture on this Vizio is really great. However the sound is terrible. — I have it hooked up to my surround sound system and find that I almost always have to have the surround on. — Another less than great quality is the remote. Could they have gotten any cheaper with it? No...the remote is incredibly substandard. If it weren't for the great price and picture, this TV would not be worth anything. —...

We were a little skeptical when we were offered this TV (with our house), but happy to receive a free 50' flat panel plasma, we decided to do a little research on the Insignia brand. I'd never heard of Insignia but found out it's made with LG parts and in most cases, it's a complete LG product. Everything we read about this TV was right. I don't know anything about pixels and all that but I was impressed with the picture and sound. The geek squad came in and set it all up for us (thankfully). It didn't take them long to get it up and running. I highly recommend this TV for your living room or game...

LittleRunningBack says "I recommend this Vizio to anyone in the market for a tv" about Vizio - 42 in HD Televison

I purchased the VIZIO 42" SV420XVT, which is part of the new XVT series Vizio came out with and it's an amazing tv! I did a lot of research before settling for this one, and I read a lot of great reviews on Vizio so I decided to check into it. The first thing I noticed, is that Vizio runs cheaper than a Sony or Panasonic, but the quality is just as great. So that's great in it alone. But with the new XVT series, they offer 120Hz, as opposed to 60Hz, it has the 1080p, instead of 720p, 5.1 Surround Sound Upgrade, and it's just overall beautiful. — — http://www.vizio.com/productDetails.aspx?id=1674&pid=1504 <-- This is the tv I bought, except i bought it from Costco. — — So all in all, I recommend this tv. Vizio is a great brand and have great quality tv's, and many to choose from. I think they are able to lower the price because they don't do as much advertising as those other brands....

i bought my 37" Vizio about 6 months ago and i love it.

the picture quality for standard definition is much better than a lot of the high-end sets youll find out there, while the tradeoff for this seems to be a very slight loss of some high definition picture quality.

the room this TV is in is very bright during the afternoon and i have no problem seeing the picture, its very bright and has an excellent viewing angle. the speakers arent the best but theyre still nothing to complain about.

i have an xbox 360 hooked up to this and the picture quality is simply amazing in HD. it has plenty of connections for anything you might want to connect to it.

the remote that came with it is very simple and easy to use, no unnecessary buttons to confuse you, even my dad can control it just fine...

The whole process took about 10 days or so, but in the end it was much cheaper than the local retailer. The local retailer was charging about $300 more than amazon.com — — If it is for the same product , why pay more. i am not sure if I want to get an extended warranty on this though.
The Sharp Aquos 52" LCD HDTV is one of the better HDTVs on the market. However, it does not come close to the Sony Bravia XBR 52" LCD HDTV. I had the Sharp for awhile because the new Bravia had not been realeased as yet. Once available, I sold the Sharp to a friend who is not nearly as critical about picture quality as I am. I immediately bought the Sony Bravia XBR.

i got this Vizio 26" inch LCD HDTV for christmas last year from my dad. Since my old tv went haywire (turns off by itself, kinda annoying!) I been watching alot of dvds on my new tv hooked up to my Sony 1080p upconvert DVD player. —

The LCD picture quality is amazing...up to 1080i~ The price for this LCD tv is really awesome. I got it at Walmart for under $525, though i did some comparison against other name brand tv's. Its light weight and easy to carry, fits in the Walmart shopping cart perfectly. As well, as easy to take home. Its good for movies, tv shows, sports, videogaming, and you can hook it up to any PC using the VGA slot. —

[Vizio - Where Vision Meets Value] (absolutely true!!!) to what the company is all about~ —

I am thinking of getting another Vizio LCD tv's, a bigger one for the living room, probably a 42 inch (Full HD 1080p)...? —...
