Got a big screen polaird tv as a gift from my sister, three months later ther appeared dark spots like dirt smuges on the right side of the screen, called polaird, was told they were being bought out by another company and to call back in four weeks, when I called back was told my tv was out of warranty, so I called wal- mart, was told I have to call polaird,also forgot to mention, the dvd player quit working after a month. This tv cost 1,200.oo expect more for that much money, I will not buy any thing else from polaird.

Flat Screen tv is the best you can ultimately buy because ultimately it is the upmost best you can buy because it is flat screen. Never have i seen a tv thats better that a flat screen. i love this tv. i like to buy things i cannot afford and this tv was actually the exception. it was on sale when i got it and about hundred over my budget. what i was budgeted for was about a 27"-32". i was able to get a 42". it's the best buy brand tv, but the guy that was helping me pick out the tv told me it's made with LG parts. The picture quality isn't as great as the high end Samsungs (but neither is the price), but for the Samsungs that everyone else can afford (I'm talking people who buy things they can't afford) the quality of picture is great. it is crisp and the colors are vibrant, exactly what one would want in a tv. i plan on getting a smaller tv for my bedroom when i get my own place and it is definatley going to be an insignia. For the amount that you pay the quality is really really good. it's a lot better than a lot of the other tvs that are out there. i hightly recommend.

When my nineteen year old television finally stopped working, I knew I had to to join the high defination age.

I am disabled and live on a very limited income, so value was absoultly necessary. I started looking at different online retailers who offered customer reviews on the televisions they had sold. After looking at all I could find, my choice came down to two, Vizio and Toshiba. I went to Walmart since I had several gift cards. After looking at each the only difference I could see was the price.

I bought the thirty two inch Vizio. I think I made a great choice. It was super easy to set up. Nothing confusing in the instructions. The really great thing was my old television weighed niney six pounds, this one weighs twenty six. I didn't need any help with moving it.

I don't have cable but with the power boost antennae I have I get fifty two crystal clear channels. And DVD's are absoultly amazing. The pickture is so clear even by old VHS tapes look good....

i purchased the samsung touch of color model T220HD its a 22" tv and a computer moniter as well. i orderd it from amazon.com it arived on like wensday so on the week end i took it to my mother it was a gift for her i figured it would be easyer for her to use than trying to use the digital tv box on her analog typ tv.

well this is wear the nightmare started after seting the tv up i was trying to hook up the dvd player etc. so i went to find the owners manuel as the back of this tv is differant. so any way i discoverd there was no owners manuel in the box. i figured no big deal ill call samsung on monday and exsplain what happen and they will shoot me a manuel in the mail.

i spent almost an hour with the customer service/tech line. the lady wanted all the information serial number and a gang of othe information to. after getting her the information she then told yes there is an 81 page manuel and it shoul...

Why kill yourself trying to get a Black Friday 'steal' when Westinghouse offers a good price on an excellent product. The Westinghouse forty-two inch flat panel LCD television is priced excellently at BJs warehouse. The price is six hundred dollars (598 to be exact), and when I purchased this model, it came with a fifty dollar rebate. It mounts easily on the wall and the picture has extraordinary definition.

When you first assemble it, you have to fine tune the picture; it takes some doing. In fact, I was a little panicked because the picture was so dark at first. However, once I decided to read the instructions, I adjusted the appropriate settings and discovered a picture worthy of movie theater quality.

The screen is encased in a glossy black frame that has an ultra-modern appearance. The control allows you to control any other electronics that you might want to connect to your television such as a DVD player. It has kewl features such as picture within a picture and...

The Olevia television 37 inches is a very good television. I had purchased it about a year ago. So far I have not had any problems. Like other people that had reviewed there is an anoying light on the front of the tv that does turn off on its own, you have to go in the controls and change the settings to turn it off. The menus are ok, but they are not very intuitive. You have to through various menus to find what you are looking for. Another thing that is anoying is that the instructions are on cd, thankfully most of the adjustments you can easily do without going through the cd, simple and clear cut except going through various menus to do what you need to do. My experience with customer service is they were very good about answering my questions and being prompt with emailing the requested information that I need about the tv. Overall out of box the quality of the tv is very good for the money paid. If you are looking for a good quality and economical tv this is it based on my experience....

We purchased the Sharp LC-46D85U 46in. HDTV about 10 months ago. We use on average of 5 hours a day. It is most used in a secondary room for kid movies and video games.The main complaint that we have found is the lack of picture in picture and ablilty to have a detailed desrciption of programs on antenna TV.

We love everything else about the TV. When purchasing this TV, we were worried about the screen being damaged fairly fast. With two young children, toys and hands are aways touching the screen. We have had no problems with it yet. We also have the sharp Aquias Blu-ray player. The problem that we have noticed with the TV is if the Blu-ray player is turned on first the TV make and awful loud click noise until the TV and Blu-Ray player are turned off. This is most like due to the wonderful feature of the TV turning to the correct video-input put when any accessory is turned on. This feature does make the TV very user friendly.

We have had our Vizio for a year and have no complaints bout it. The picture is of high quailty. We love the HD. The colors are sharp and clear. My husband really like the clarity especially during football season. We are very satisfied with the Vizio. We had a Vizio before we got this one. The first one we had devolped approximately a one inch by one inch 'smear' in the color on the right bottom front. It was barely noticeable. We called Vizio and told them. They in turn condemed the TV over the phone and sent us a check to buy another Vizio. They even let us keep the TV with the 'smear.' We were surprised that the company did this, but they stand behind their product.

I have owned a 42LG50 for about a year. I use it for viewing movies, regular tv shows in HD. I also use it as a monitor for my PC. I really like the number of ways the 42LG50 can be used.

For me it is a fully functional media center. The only drawback that I have with this model is that the speakers in the TV are too small and get easily overloaded when the sound is over 25. I have been able to get around this by using external speakers for my PC and home theater system.

I have found this 42LG50 most helpful when I am producing videos and video editing. I have a smaller 32 inch LG and am equally happy with both of them.

I like the auto tuning abilities. I feel that this tv/monitor will last for many years. I'm not sure if bigger is better but this is the biggest screen I have ever had and I like it.

I took awhile and did some shopping before choosing the 42LG50. I felt it had a superior picture quality than all the other tv's around it. I spent over $1100 on this set and I am happy!

I almost bought a Sony XBR TV for more than $900, but instead I decided to save some money and buy this TV for only $450 from Amazon. It even had free shipping and two men brought it to my door, set it up and connected it to my DVD player and speakers and turned it on to make sure it worked. Buying this Samsung TV instead of the Sony is one of the best decisions I ever made. The picture quality is excellent; both the color and the contrast are great. The screen resolution is 720 instead of 1080, but I've read several times that you can't tell the difference for 32 inch TVs and after seeing this TV, I completely agree. It's significantly better than anything else in its price range. I guess if you have an unlimited budget, the Sony XBR would be slightly better, but its definately not worth twice the price. So, in summary, buy the Samsung 450. And buy it from Amazon. You won't be disappointed.

When I brought my 42 hd plasma home i did not realize what i was actually missing as far as picture goes, but then I hooked up the hd and wow what a difference. The quality of the picture is so hard to put into words. You can see every little detail. You can all but see if a hair is out of place. The 42 inch is an ideal size to watch it makes the movies and shows just come to life, I do not think, no I know I will never go back to regular TV, it just would be a waste of time, I like the feeling of almost actually being there. The sound quality that you get from this vizio is wonderful. I have a square living room and it is almost like the sound bounces around in there, then when you hook up the vizio sound bar; wow; what an experience, it is like going to the movies. You can feel the sound go right through you, so when you are watching a thriller imagine the feeling of suspense that you get. Get this it is well worth the money.

When we first decided to look for Tv's I looked around at all our choices. I noticed this had the best picture quality of them all. You don't get interference from light. You have a crystal clear picture, ever time, no matter what time of the day it is. We can hook our computer into the back of the Televsion, we can hook up to 2 different devices besides this into and switch back and forth. I had the tv for about 6 months and it quit working. Polaroid had a part sent to me and a tech come by and installed it, but it didn't fix it. They say the LCD screen is bad and warrenty doesn't cover that or the backlight. I have a paper with the warrenty and it says that it covers "all" functional parts. They say they wont fix it or replace it, but I can buy a new LCD sreen for $429 and pay someone to install it. I think it is a bunch of crap. And there tech support sucks. DONT BUY ANYTHING POLAROID!!!

The Westinghouse SK-26H590D 26 in HDTV/LCD DVD combo is a very great televison set to own. I bought mine last Christmas and it is still going strong today. It does get a bit hot in the back of it so be careful in not placing it against something. I learned to use a plugin that I can switch off when leaving the house to turn this and a few other items in the same area off. It has three different screen modes you can use that I really like. The color is perfect and I have had no issues with the color changing or being distorted at anytime. The remote sometimes gets glitchy and I have to bump it to get it to work. The one thing I do not like about the television is that sound does tend to go up and down without warning. I checked the setting on my audio and they were not changed so there may possibly be something with the sound increasing on and off at any given time. Other than that flaw it has been a wonderful television and we plan on getting a bigger version of the same Westinghouse...

My husband and I had been looking for new TV's for some time now, well mostly he had been looking but I had him on a budget, also we live in an apartment so I didnt want something too big for a small area. We are a Sam's Club member so we had been comparing prices of the big named TVs but they seemed to be evenly priced among the large online sellers. I asked him why the Vizo TVs cost less and he originaly told me because they were the "Walmart" brand TV, come to find out later that they are not the walmart brand, but just started in the Walmart stores. So we did a little research on them and found mixed reviews, but they were so much cheaper we were willing to take the gamble. Then when we found Sam's Club has a no questions asked pollicy about returning TVs we were sold on our Vizo. We bought it online and had it delivered for free, LOVE the tv have not had any problems with it, and I think it deffinitly stands up to the big named TVs.

All i can say is OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS TV! We recieved this last year as a Christmas gift from my mother, all we had was a tiny 15 inch Sanyo TV and she knew we could use something else. Especially since the year before she had given us a PS2 and we were having trouble seeing the games clearly on our other TV. I was so excited when i opened this up and as soon as we got home that evening we had this baby hooked up and running. It took no time to get it going, it was very very simple. The only thing i hate is that our PS2 doesn't have the spot for the HDMI cable so we can't get the HD for our video games or DVD's we watch on there. That's certainly nothing i will die without because it's just wonderful enough to be able to see a HUGE CLEAR picture on the tv and not have to strain to read words or make out what something is supposed to be. It's been almost a year now and we haven't had any troubles out of this TV and as far as i've seen it doesn't use up a ton of power either! It's definitely...
