We have had our Vizio for a year and have no complaints bout it. The picture is of high quailty. We love the HD. The colors are sharp and clear. My husband really like the clarity especially during football season. We are very satisfied with the Vizio. We had a Vizio before we got this one. The first one we had devolped approximately a one inch by one inch 'smear' in the color on the right bottom front. It was barely noticeable. We called Vizio and told them. They in turn condemed the TV over the phone and sent us a check to buy another Vizio. They even let us keep the TV with the 'smear.' We were surprised that the company did this, but they stand behind their product.

tohano1 says "This LG is awsome." about LG - 42LG50

I have owned a 42LG50 for about a year. I use it for viewing movies, regular tv shows in HD. I also use it as a monitor for my PC. I really like the number of ways the 42LG50 can be used.

For me it is a fully functional media center. The only drawback that I have with this model is that the speakers in the TV are too small and get easily overloaded when the sound is over 25. I have been able to get around this by using external speakers for my PC and home theater system.

I have found this 42LG50 most helpful when I am producing videos and video editing. I have a smaller 32 inch LG and am equally happy with both of them.

I like the auto tuning abilities. I feel that this tv/monitor will last for many years. I'm not sure if bigger is better but this is the biggest screen I have ever had and I like it.

I took awhile and did some shopping before choosing the 42LG50. I felt it had a superior picture quality than all the other tv's around it. I spent over $1100 on this set and I am happy!
...

NMiller says "Great TV - Especially for the price" about Samsung LN32A450 32 in. HDTV TV

I almost bought a Sony XBR TV for more than $900, but instead I decided to save some money and buy this TV for only $450 from Amazon. It even had free shipping and two men brought it to my door, set it up and connected it to my DVD player and speakers and turned it on to make sure it worked. Buying this Samsung TV instead of the Sony is one of the best decisions I ever made. The picture quality is excellent; both the color and the contrast are great. The screen resolution is 720 instead of 1080, but I've read several times that you can't tell the difference for 32 inch TVs and after seeing this TV, I completely agree. It's significantly better than anything else in its price range. I guess if you have an unlimited budget, the Sony XBR would be slightly better, but its definately not worth twice the price. So, in summary, buy the Samsung 450. And buy it from Amazon. You won't be disappointed.
...

marybsaxton says "i love the picture, you don't realize what you were missing." about Vizio - 42 in HD Televison

When I brought my 42 hd plasma home i did not realize what i was actually missing as far as picture goes, but then I hooked up the hd and wow what a difference. The quality of the picture is so hard to put into words. You can see every little detail. You can all but see if a hair is out of place. The 42 inch is an ideal size to watch it makes the movies and shows just come to life, I do not think, no I know I will never go back to regular TV, it just would be a waste of time, I like the feeling of almost actually being there. The sound quality that you get from this vizio is wonderful. I have a square living room and it is almost like the sound bounces around in there, then when you hook up the vizio sound bar; wow; what an experience, it is like going to the movies. You can feel the sound go right through you, so when you are watching a thriller imagine the feeling of suspense that you get. Get this it is well worth the money.
...

When we first decided to look for Tv's I looked around at all our choices. I noticed this had the best picture quality of them all. You don't get interference from light. You have a crystal clear picture, ever time, no matter what time of the day it is. We can hook our computer into the back of the Televsion, we can hook up to 2 different devices besides this into and switch back and forth. It is really easy to change devices, whether you want to play a game system or watch a dvd. This is the best pick if opting for a big screen television set. This is a sleek design, xd, energy star,. It fits right on top of our entertainment center. You can also hook surround sound up to it, It has hdmi adapters for you to plug in extra hd devices also. "This is the best tv on the market." It is also reasonably prices among all the plasma televison and flat panel sets. I recommend this to anyone that is getting a flat screen for the first time....

The Westinghouse SK-26H590D 26 in HDTV/LCD DVD combo is a very great televison set to own. I bought mine last Christmas and it is still going strong today. It does get a bit hot in the back of it so be careful in not placing it against something. I learned to use a plugin that I can switch off when leaving the house to turn this and a few other items in the same area off. It has three different screen modes you can use that I really like. The color is perfect and I have had no issues with the color changing or being distorted at anytime. The remote sometimes gets glitchy and I have to bump it to get it to work. The one thing I do not like about the television is that sound does tend to go up and down without warning. I checked the setting on my audio and they were not changed so there may possibly be something with the sound increasing on and off at any given time. Other than that flaw it has been a wonderful television and we plan on getting a bigger version of the same Westinghouse...
...

My husband and I had been looking for new TV's for some time now, well mostly he had been looking but I had him on a budget, also we live in an apartment so I didnt want something too big for a small area. We are a Sam's Club member so we had been comparing prices of the big named TVs but they seemed to be evenly priced among the large online sellers. I asked him why the Vizo TVs cost less and he originaly told me because they were the "Walmart" brand TV, come to find out later that they are not the walmart brand, but just started in the Walmart stores. So we did a little research on them and found mixed reviews, but they were so much cheaper we were willing to take the gamble. Then when we found Sam's Club has a no questions asked pollicy about returning TVs we were sold on our Vizo. We bought it online and had it delivered for free, LOVE the tv have not had any problems with it, and I think it deffinitly stands up to the big named TVs.
...

All i can say is OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS TV! We recieved this last year as a Christmas gift from my mother, all we had was a tiny 15 inch Sanyo TV and she knew we could use something else. Especially since the year before she had given us a PS2 and we were having trouble seeing the games clearly on our other TV. I was so excited when i opened this up and as soon as we got home that evening we had this baby hooked up and running. It took no time to get it going, it was very very simple. The only thing i hate is that our PS2 doesn't have the spot for the HDMI cable so we can't get the HD for our video games or DVD's we watch on there. That's certainly nothing i will die without because it's just wonderful enough to be able to see a HUGE CLEAR picture on the tv and not have to strain to read words or make out what something is supposed to be. It's been almost a year now and we haven't had any troubles out of this TV and as far as i've seen it doesn't use up a ton of power either! It's definitely...
...

I purchased the Samsung 23" TV Monitor because it is both a television and a computer monitor. It is a brand name product, so I expect it to last a long time. It has 1 DVI input, 1 VGA input, 2 HDMI inputs, and 1 component input. It does not have a composite video input or a S-Video input, but this does not matter unless you intend to hook an older device to it like a VCR. It has a full 1080p resolution so you can watch movies up close. It also comes with a remote control.

It works great as a TV set, the picture is excellent, it has vivid colors and deep blacks. It also makes for a nice high-resolution computer monitor, images are crisp and sharp. The sound is not great because it has small speakers.

Because it is a 23" TV It would work well in a small office, bedroom, or kitchen. The cabinet has the same sleek contour design as the larger Samsung flat screen TVs. This is a nice product that works great.

The Vizio VX37L HDTV replaces the company's last 37-inch LCD set, the L37 HDTV but not much has changed. Vizio revamped the feature set and modified the cosmetics, going for a more compact cabinet and a white backside. The VX37L HDTV demonstrates the virtue found on many other Vizio flat-panel sets we've reviewed: perfectly acceptable picture quality and style for a price that's tough to beat.As we mentioned, the Vizio VX37L HDTV sports a coat of kitchen-friendly white, but it's visible only from the back and sides. The company also rounded off the corners of the compact panel, so overall, the set appears a bit less masculine than many other flat-panels, although it's still pretty high-tech looking. The matching silver stand has a strip of chrome along its front edge, and the only other accent is the illuminated Vizio logo that dims slightly when the TV's on but can't be disabled completely. The VX37L HDTV measures 36.2 x 26 x 10.4 inches (WHD) atop the stand, and the panel itself is 4.3...
...

My fiance and recently purchased the Insignia 42" 1080p Flat Screen LCD television at Best Buy. To say the least, we were absolutely thrilled with our purchase! I was nervous about buying the house brand for an electronic (especially one that's several hundred dollars!), but it turns out that this TV has better reviews than most of the ones that are priced hundreds higher. Now, I can see why! First of all, the in-store display gives this TV no justice as far as its size goes. We brought that bad boy home and it felt like we just planted a movie theatre in our living room. Even better, the TV has an amazing quality. We don't have digital cable, but the picture quality is still way better than our analog TV. I can only imagine how great the picture will be once we invest in digital cable! Another great aspect of this TV is that I can connect my laptop to the TV via a VGA male-to-male connector cable. The television wasn't cheap, it was around 800 dollars. I mounted the television and it fits perfectly.

Great TV for a first time upgrade from a CRT Tube TV to an HDTV Flat Panel. Very compact comparable to a CRT TV, offers a variety of connections from a VGA Input, Standard Cable Connection, and AV Connections. With that you can connect a computer, gaming systems, and VCRs, as well as DVDs, and with the inclusion of an HDMI Port a blu-ray player. The remote control provides for easy access between different systems by switching displays. With its HDTV capablities, it allows access to more channels avaliable for free for example with a cable subscription mulitple free HD Channels not avaliable with a CRT TV because accessed with this HDTV Flat Panel. Without a remote it provides easy access to control buttons placed above the TV Screen. As well as a green/red indicator light display when its in use and powered down, and the ablity to power down the TV during the event of a possible power surge without disconnecting the power cord, just by flicking the power switch in the back.
...

This HP PL5060N 50 inch Plasma HDTV attracted us because it was reasonably priced at $2400.00 and had all the features we were looking for.

This is a 50 inch diagonal plasma with a 1366 x 768 resolution. The contrast is 10000:1. It is a 1080i. It has 1 HDMI, 1 VGA, 2 composite video, 2 component, 2 S-Video, 1 RF 1x75 Ohm analog antenna input and 1 RS-232 serial connection input, as well as 1 x composite video output.

The audio inputs are 1 PC/DVI audio and 4 paids of left.right audio. The Outputs are 1 pair of left/right analog and 1 optical digital audio (SPDIF)

The unit comes with 2 speakers that have 2 woofers (8 watts per channel) and 1 Tweeter and Dolby Digital.

HP has equipped this tv with a sleep timer, closed-captioning, V-Chip, OSD language (English, French and Spanish) and burn-in protection.
The weight of the tv is 113.5 pounds. We opted to mount this above our fireplace. I highly recommend having your husbands friend help. We had quite a struggle with just the two......

When shopping for a television when our old sanyo went out we didnt have alot of cash and decided to try to get our best value. We didnt need a big televison so we settled on a 32". Not knowing anything about the brand Element it resembled the Emerson so we intially thought it was a knock off brand. It was a good price so we thought we would take the risk. After the easy assembly we set it up and was suprised at the clear picture and the great sound that came from the television. I am sure this was a good choice and the quality is equal to the big name brands.
...
