The HoMedics SoundSpa Clock Radio With Time Projection is very much worth the money. This clock is just awesome. It has several sound effects to go along with the projection. The projection can be moved to about any angle. I would buy this again and again. I really like this clock. The projection part is great. I do have two small critiques. First, the lights on the clock are entirely too bright, even with the dim switch on. I have put electrical tape over it, so that I can sleep at night. the projection part also blew out within the first month, so that feature was useless, but everything that was important still worked well enough...Another issue is strictly a personal preference but I wish there was a sound like wind or something not related to water (if you know what I mean) and that doesn't have some sort of animal noise. Other than those two things, I really do like it. and overall, it is worth the money.

Because of the steep price, I know that not everyone will be able to take advantage of ownership of such a wonderful product, but for those of you who can afford it, I highly recommend purchasing a Bose Wave radio as soon as possible. The quality of the sound alone makes it worth the price, although that is not all that recommends it. The compact design and sophisticated appearance make it an appropriate addition to any room, and at the same time, it is easy to move it from room to room without a complicated series of wires and attachments. I am a lover of music, and to sit in the room with my eyes closed and hear the most subtle instruments in each piece is very thrilling. When the bass comes in, it can sometimes bring tears to your eyes. I don't know how they accomplished it, but the manufacturers have been able to bring a virtual concert hall into your hall in a very small package.

One night, my 4 year old grandson and I were sitting on a bed reading when he suddenly pointed and exclaimed, "why are there numbers on the wall?" I wasn't sure at first what he was referring to. I looked up and saw an amazing sight--the current time displayed in crisp red numbers like a neon sign right above the doorway. When I first got this clock radio, I thought it was like every other-boring and extremely annoying. I was wrong.

The screen is green and bright, and there are three brightness settings that you can adjust. Also, there is a daylight savings button. So, instead of resetting the clock when that time of year comes around, you can just press a button and the time is changed for you.

Another great feature is the radio. There are two FM tuners, where you can save up to 10 of your favorite stations. There is also an AM tuner, and a weather tuner (just weather, all the time.) You can set it so that if there is a weather alert, your clock will go off.

But, the biggest surprise of this clock for me was the TV tuner. Yes, I can listen to the TV on my clock radio! It has channels 2-13, and it's actually pretty cool, even though I don't use it that often.

My Dad wone the Bose wave music system fortuantly he didn't want it so being a good child I helped him and took it off his hands. The sound is incredible everything is done by remote controls so there are no knobs for anyone to play with there is a built cd and a port in the back for an iPod and also has i docking station. You can add to the system if you want or just enjoy the raido as is. I had no problem setting up the raido and I am techinally challenged hope everyone enjoys this raido as much as I do

Oh my God! This this Bose sound wave is great. I have never heard such great sound. You hear all the nuances. I listen to music that I've been listening to for years and hear all sorts of new sounds and instruments that I'd never heard before. It truly does fill the wole room with sound and it is incredibly compact. Any room you put it in it just resonates sound like nobodys business. We love this machine. We have it hooked up to out computer so we can listen to the radio or cds whilst working on it. It is also great sound for playing computer games. It enhances the whole game playing experience. We love it so much we are buying another one to put in the bedroom. You really have to hear how great the sound is to believe it.

The Durabrand Clock Radio CR502 is a great little clock for a very cheap price. The radio may not work so well at times if the signal is not very strong, but it works pretty good. It also does the job of waking me up in the morning. That is what an alarm clock is supposed to do right? Keep the time and wake you up when you need it. I have had the clock for about a year now and it still does the job. I would recommend it to anyone who just wants a clock to get the job done and can't spend alot of money on it....

How can a bargain hunting gadget freak buy a Bose Wave Radio II, heck the one I got is pricey, has a single cd player (no changer) charges extra for the iPod dock and headphones and 3 disc changer (what planet are these guys from) It has its problems as an intuitive device and did I mention that its pricey.

But for some reason, I love it. Maybe its the clean crisp sound. Maybe its the fact that I love to listen to my mp3s through its iPod dock. Maybe its because it connects faultlessly with my Bose Surround Sound Home Theatre (another overpriced, under featured system, I still love for some unknown reason). These are both items I can't fully understand why I love, but I do. Maybe its the thoughtful touches like the battery backup on the clock that means even when the power blips in the middle of the night it still wakes me for work the next morning. The small little remote that is well designed and did I mention small, the night table form factor that still provides a big...

I've had this product about 2 years now I think. For the most part I (we) like it. The problems we've found with all projector clocks is where and how you can project. Since we have a nice headboard and the sidestands are also storage cabinets... You have a choice to either project the time out to the wall or ceiling and have the clock face face the wall or have the clock face out towards you and the projector not be able to be seen anywhere in the room.

Some of the more recent problems we've had is that it has lost contact with the time service signal. When it does that it seems to advance about 45 minutes fairly quickly. There have been a couple times where I've gotten woke up earlier than need be and didin't realize it till I was already out of bed and fully awake. Not sure why it gains the amount of time it does when it happens...

As for the nature sounds (white noise generator), most of them actually sound......

The Radio sounds great for its size though a bit limited on bass response. The Cd player is very picky. Some manufacturers of CD's it will not read on the first try....The Auxillary impute requires double the volume when connecting an Ipod or A Satellite Radio Tuner as the radio requires for radio or CD, a automatic level would be appreciate here....

To the Point

My mom was using a very outdated radio in her kitchen. On her own she bought the iCraig iPod Alarm Clock Radio. She doesn't own an iPod! I think she bought it because she likes the way it looks.

A Closer View

The style of the iCraig I was going to call retro. When I was almost done with this review I wanted to see if it was on the website: www.icragelectronics.com. It is and it is called "RETRO iPod ALARM CLOCK RADIO Model 3036." The reason for this is the rectangle box style with the large speaker in the front. Two large knobs for volume and tuning are on the front as well as the power and snooze buttons and a large LCD screen which is easy to read and has a blue backlight. Of course it is not one my mom would have needed for her kitchen!

The features other than what I noted above include the all important (for many people but not my mom!) connection on the top of the unit that supports an iPod, MP3 and audio player.

The iCraig Retro iPod Alarm Clock Radio has an antenna which...

Having a Grandmother that is hard of hearing, we purchased this product for her, that is easy to use, easy to play CD's, easy to control, she can easily insert her disks and begin playing her music with out all the fumbling around like with other CD players. With the easy to use remote she can change tracks with no problems without having to get out of her chair from across the room. The sound is beyond incredible and it instantly goes to her pre-selected volume that she enjoys. Even tho it is pricey it's worth every cent to know that Grandma can hear her music and listen to her favorite radio shows. ...

I put this clock on my Bed Bath and Beyond wedding registry because it combined something I needed (an alarm clock) with something I enjoyed (nature sounds). This turned out to be one of my favorite shower gifts!

The shape is uniqueand I've seen some complaints about that, but I like it. It looks cool and fits with my decor. Since it is wider and shorter than most clocks, I don't ever accidentally knock it over like I did with my old clock. It's shape makes it so it's stable.

The alarm works greatjust like any alarm. You can set it to either beep, play the radio, or play a chosen nature sound. I always set it to the radio because I don't know if I'd wake up to nature sounds. I might wake up and think it is raining outside and miss the alarm! I did have a little trouble setting the radio to the right station due to the small dial, but I only listen to one station and once I got it just right, it's worked great ever since. I bought this directly from Boston(AUS) and was very happy, great sound, really nice user interface. After 3 years it started to buzz, buzz got louder and louder, as loud as the alarm, no way you could leave it turned on.
Took it to Boston(AUS) who said 'it's the transformer, it just happens, it's unrepairable, get a new radio'
Don't get me wrong, I don't want a free repair, I'm happy to pay, I just want my radio fixed.
Emailed Boston(USA), tried all the email addresses on their site, eventually got a response from the service department 'here's a contact for our transformer supplier in China'. After a month of email back-and-forth with China I gave up.
Based on their lack of surprise or response Boston thinks 3 years is an acceptable lifespan for a $350 radio - I disagree.
There are other products available that work as well and sound as good, buy one of them instead.

I bought this clock radio after seeing a display in Target. I recognized the good name of Boston Accoustics so I turned it on. What an amazing sound! It is small in stature and not modern looking but at the same time takes up little space. I can forego the looks (rather plain looking) for the wonderful full base sound that come out of this radio. This Receptor Radio you can wake-up to an alarm or radio. This radio tunes stations I could not get with my other clock radio. You can preset stations for easy navigation. What is really great is that this has an AUX input for any MP3 player. Of course it also has the snooze bar. The Receptor Radio is a little pricey, but I feel that the price is absolutely worth it....

My boyfriend bought me this clock because I needed a dual-alarm clock that would actually wake me up. Well, the alarm is great for getting my attention - but 90 percent of the time it doesn't go off! Sometimes it will chirp once at the time it is set for... sometimes it does nothing. Actually, MOST times it does nothing. I don't think it's gone off in weeks. It's nice that it sets itself, and that it has a backup power supply, but it is virtually useless as far as being an ALARM clock.

On the upside, my boyfriend now wakes me up instead, which is much nicer than a clock alarm.

I found this little gem on a shopping trip to Walmart last Christmas on sale for $14, so I bought 3 of them. Now why you ask would a person need 3 alarm clocks, I will tell you right now. The first 2 went in the Master bedroom, one for my wife and one for me, the third went in my daughters room. Of course hers was under the tree last year, so it took her a while before she could enjoy it as we did.

Simple setup so says the instruction manual.

For once I have to agree on that one. Was I ever surprised just how easy it was to set the time. All you do is plug it in, YUP plug the dang thing in the wall!! It does have the option of setting it for different time zones, mine was already there. I plugged this thing in and in less than 10 seconds the time was set NOT just the time either, this SmartSet also set the Month, day and year as well!

Features

The SmartSet also comes with a lithium battery which is supposed to last for 5 years, that we will have to wait and see as it's only been in......
