I love this little gem! This Coby DigitaI Keychain has a 1.5 " LCD Full Color Digital Display. It has a rechargeable battery which provides 4 hours of viewing time. It comes with a USB Port for transferring files from your computer and it holds 120 photos. — — I bought one for my mom for Mother's Day... and downloaded all the pictures of our family over the last year. So awesome that... oops, I kept it myself! I purchased another one for her. It comes in pink, red, blue, black and white keychain colors. It is a quality product! — — The images are bright and project well for a 1.5" surface. It is perfect when running into people you haven't seen for awhile... it is like having a portable photo album right there on your keychain! — — Two concerns: 1) It was difficult to load pics from a Mac. 2) I am concerned about the surface maybe getting scratched up - you know, as it bounces around on your...

If your looking for excitement in a DVD, this ain't it, but if your looking for a great video technical guide for the now industry norm of a computer with a lens, this is the one right here. Elite Video's DVD of the Canon 40D I have found to be a significant tool in learning the ins and outs of a complex camera. Going through page after page of technical data can be incredibly time consuming whilst fiddling with your camera at the same time to see if you got it right. This video goes into minute detail for every aspect of this state of the art photographic vehicle. — I found it easy to follow, very informative, and helped me significantly to get the most from my recently purchased 40D. The video covers all the camera functions, options, photographic scenarios, and field situations in a very dry, but very through manner. — I learned quite a bit from this DVD, and saved myself hours upon hours of valuable time, enabling me to shoot pics...

To the PointWhile watching QVC I saw a digital frame. I had bought a small keychain sized one but I thought the Zina - Digital Photo Album w/ 3.5" Color LCD Screen 3 x 5 size would be great for my mom for Mother's Day. I like it. Now that Father's day and graduations are coming up it makes a great gift for dad or the graduate. — A Closer Look — It was only recently that I looked at the reviews of the Zina Digital Photo Album on QVC. It was only then that I saw how many choices I could have had but I made an impulse purchase from QVC. I saw a lot of negative reviews and got concerned but as it turns out the concerns are about the instructions and they are totally correct. — What's with the instructions? — We (My husband was in Florida at this point) got a very small and very thin disc that I tried to install. The instructions are in a tiny printl but I'm used to using a magnifying glass but I could not get the Zina Digital Photo Album software to install....

I purchased this case for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 digital camera. I wanted a case that was small, lightweight, and would fit into my pocket easily. My camera fits into this case perfectly and serves my needs. However, please note that this is a fairly basic case. It does have belt loops (must thread belt though, no snaps) and two rings on the outide to attach a carrying strap. However, it does not come with a carrying strap. This case only has the main zippered compartment for the camera and does not have any other pockets for additional batteries, memory cards, etc. This is okay with me as I basically just needed something to put my camera into for protection, but you need a case of this size with a shoulder strap and additional pockets, take a look at the Case Logic PMM-3 case... — Here is some additional information from the vendor regarding this product: —...

With the enormous increase in the use of digital cameras, going to get photos professionally developed is decreasing hugely. With consumers becoming more tech savvy and wanting to take the helm, it's not a stretch to see the rising popularity of dedicated photo printers. While most color printers can print to photo paper, there is a new kind of printer dedicated to nothing but 6x4 prints or smaller. They are easy to use and you don't have to worry about things like cropping and resizing as you do with the normal size printers. I have been interested in purchasing one of these compact printers and I originally bought the HP Photosmart A526 Compact Photo Printer for $99. I tried it out, and promptly returned it. This time I did a little research and after toying with a friend's, I ended up buying the Epson - PictureMate Dash PM 260 Compact Photo Inkjet Printer for the same price but with much better...

I was just searching for a camera wrap, nothing else. Then I found one that had a mini-tripod (very mini, like 1" lift) attached and thought "Hey, a tripod would be cool for vacation!" I then changed my search to mini tripods and quickly found the GorillaPod on BestBuy.com! It had many good reviews on the store's website so I ran out to get one right away. It is the coolest camera accessory ever and I cannot wait to use it on all vacations. — What is it and how does it work? — It's a tripod, of course, but it's so much more. It can be used as a regular tripod by simply spreading out it's 3 legs and aiming. However what makes it different is it's bendy! You can lean the camera forward or back to get it to aim just right at what you want. The second way it is different is that it is flexible. The legs are made up of these little balls that can be wrapped around anything smaller than the legs. Since the legs are...

I recently purchased a Targus TGT-58TR 58" camera/camcorder tripod. I’ve never used a tripod before, but with the greater capabilities of my new digital camera I found I needed one. Prior to purchasing, I did a bit of research, so I knew things to look for in a tripod. My camera weighs 3 pounds and I wanted a tripod that would be sturdy enough for this camera and any additional equipment I may use with it in the future. — This tripod met all of my needs. It extends to 58", has a 5 pound capacity, radial leg braces, folds to 23", and has a convenient carrying bag. It is light weight, but has a center hook where a bag of weight can be hung for additional stability when needed; or your camera bag with equipment could be hung here to keep it safe and at hand. This tripod is easy and quick to set up and use, and the sturdy carrying handle makes it easy to quickly grab and move to a different location. The 3-way fluid pan-head seems to be...

I received this as a gift and it has turned out to be much more useful than I could have ever imagined. I love this little gadget and use it whenever I am out taking pictures. I always used to fiddle around trying to find a place to set the camera so I could use the timer feature and run in the picture. This has lead to my camera falling on the ground, not being able to find the perfect spot to put the camera and some other difficulties. This tri-pod makes it easy to set the camera just about anywhere and is very secure. It is also nice and small so it is very easy to carry around without much difficulty. It also has a great locking feature so the camera does not fall off your awkwardly positioned tri-pod. I have place it on everything from tree limbs to fences to railings, you name it I've used it. Just this past Christmas though I was out ice fishing in Canada and in the cold weather it didn't fair to well, I cracked it. But now...

My husband purchased this for me as a gift. It was a little difficult to get it up and operating, but once we figured it out, we were pretty happy with it. We even took it on vacation with us, so we could show the relatives our pictures in a fun way. The pictures themselves seemed to be pretty good quality, they didn't seem to be 'stretched' in any way. It worked nicely....no real problem. After the trip, the frame sat in our living room, and seemed to work fine for months. We didn't keep it on all the time, but whenever we went to use it, it was fine. — Then, suddenly, one day, it simply didn't work anymore. Nothing had happened that would explain it, except that now I'm wondering if it was a power outage (as another reviewer noted) because we definitely had a power outage. No other appliances were affected, however this very expensive photo frame suddenly didn't work anymore. — So we only got about 8 months use out of it. And the reason I am giving it only 2...

Everyone has run into this moment sometime or another: You are standing in front of a beautiful landscape, statue, or landmark with your significant other. In the mayhem of people stampeding by, you look at each other and mind-talk, "Who should we ask to take our picture?" After a couple of minutes fumbling with the camera and scrutinizing over which poor stranger to inconvenience and possibly steal/drop/smudge your Cybershot, you finally grow the nerves to ask. They nod, look for the shutter button, and snap a a pic that may very well be the only pic you may get of that moment. Sometimes it's off-centered, unfocused, or over/under-zoomed. But you'd hate to ask another person so you settle for what you got and continue with your travels. Well here's the simple answer to this predicament: XSHOT. — What is XSHOT? — XShot is a 3' extendable baton that allows YOU to hold the camera at whatever vantage point you want on any digital camera. For $19.99, you now have the freedom...

bkovacs says "Nice small flash for the Canon G7/G9 camera" about Canon - 220EX Speedlite flash unit

I have a Canon PowerShot G7 camera, which was Canon's best compact camera until the G9 was introduced. (The G7 and G9 are very similar but technology never stops, so I expect Canon to have a G10 someday soon.) I like the G7 but one of the things that could be improved is the camera's built-in flash. It's not bad as built-in flashes go but it causes a bit too much shine on skin and it always gives me red eye. The built-in flash is also good for only about 10 feet or so, and its light falls off rapidly after that. — — The solution is the Canon Speedlite 220EX, a small external flash that will mate with the G7's hot shoe atop the camera. (A "hot shoe" is a flash mount that has built-in contacts -- the Canon G7 is one of the only compact digital cameras that has a hot shoe, which is one of the reasons why I wanted a G7.)
