NYmama14020 says "A Good Buy" about Craig - Portable CD player

I bought this Craig Personal Stereo Cd Player With Headphones for my son. He loves it. It worked straight out of the box. It is a cheap model, however, it does exactly what he wants it to do, play his Johnny Cash CD. It is also his favorite color, red. It seems to last long on the batteries. It takes double A's which are of course, easy to find. If he loves it, I love it. My son says both earphones work great. There are not a lot of features to this machine. It was only 10 dollars so I get what I paid for. But it works and that is all that counts. It is only a week old, so if I need to update this later on, I will....

f8thfulfriend says "Low Cost, but excellent Sound" about ULTECH - Programmable CD Player

I love this CD Player. I got it at Wal-Mart for about $10 to $15 and it is wonderful. It doesn't skip and I have had it for over 2 years and it still plays like the first day I bought it. It has more features than I use. I got it to use when I'm going to sleep at night so I can relax, but my kids use it all the time and I even ended up getting them one of their own each. It is a definate great buy!...

Nicole says "Don't waste your money: SKIP the RCA CD player!" about RCA RP2502 Personal CD Player

The Case

I haven't used this CD player in quite some time, not since I transitioned all of my music to my mp3 player. I originally purchased this brand and model for very specific reasons - which it fulfilled - but mostly, it just ended up being a big disappointment.

The Good

It's a very inexpensive CD player. It's also pretty compact, measuring almost exactly the circumference of a regular-sized CD, which is great for portability. But the main reason I decided on the RP2502 player was that it had the wonderful feature of memory play. If I stop listening to a CD at track 7, when I turn the player back on again, it starts up exactly where it left off instead of resetting to the first track. Believe it or not, it really took some time to find a CD player with that particular feature!

The Bad

The RP2502 CD player touts it's ant-skip protection, but nearly everytime I listen to music with this thing, I feel like I'm jumping rope with a bunch of seven-year-old little girls. It skips...
...
