pahunt says "big system sound in a compact size" about Sony - sony CFD G505

My Sony CFD G505 boom box is the greatest. I bought it mainly because it had a cassette player. I have a lot of cassettes, but the only place I could play them was in my car because it has a cassette player. (I have an old car!!) Well, I was very surprised and pleased with the sound that came out of this boom box!! The sound quality is nothing short of superb. It tunes in radio stations easily and gets just about all the popular stations locally. the cd player is a top loading and very easy to use. The cassette player is a regular player, like most others. you push a button to open the front, pop in the cassette and play. You can record on the cassette player, but it is not a twin player, recorder. I don't record onto cassettes, so I don't really use that feature. The cd player has all the usual cd features, back, forward, random play. you can pre program radio stations, too. You can play the boom box with batteries or you can plug it in. I have it plugged in here in my...
...

Kykyo says "insigna ipod boombox, easy to use, and great sound" about insigna - ipod boombox

I needed a boombox that I could use with my apple ipod touch. In scearching for one that was a reasonable price I found the insigna brand. I has a cd load on the back of it and radio on the front, also a place to put your ipod on it in the front, so you can listen to your ipod music through loader speakers. It fits many differant ipods into it,cause it comes with little plastic pieces to hook your ipod into it if you have a smaller version of an ipod. If you have an ipod touch, you do not need to use the plastic pieces ,your ipod just sits in the spot. While using it there is differant choices for the type of music your listening to choose from for better sound. Also it comes with programable features so you can use that if you choose. There is also an remote control so you don't stop what your doing to go to it and use it. This I found is very convenient if your day is packed full with stuff to do,like mine. This is the second one that I have had.We did have a problem with the first one where...
...

niksikicks says "Go for it" about Sony CFD-S350 Radio/Cassette/CD Boombox

Convex speakers and mega bass provide good sound. it is very easy to use too. this is good for the non technical user. the compact disc player never scratches discs or delays playback. the option for searching through radio stations or compac disc tracks is very useful. the antenna is convenient but not usually needed. it has a sleek design and fits well in the home. it is a space saver and easily blends into home decor. however, it is light and sometimes easy to get beaten up if not treated correctly. this is perfect for the teenager that is going off to college because it is simple and small....

Sony - Xplod CFD-G505 Radio/Cassette/CD Boombox is a reasonably priced listening device.

The sound quality is wonderful for radio, CDs and also allows for connection to MP3 player.

The volume is sensational in that you can listen quietly or let the world hear your music.

Sony quality is most evident in this boom box as it operates fine under batteries or plug it in an outlet.

Extremely reasonable in price and allows mobility to carry your tunes anywhere.

...

ryuuzaki says "listen up" about Sony CFD-S350 Radio/Cassette/CD Boombox

I found that this stereo in particular grew old too quickly. With only a slight bump to it or barely any movement at all, the cd will stop and spin. Otherwise, it is small and easy to move--light and transportable. The buttons are easy, and the remote is convenient (when it works). I have an early version of the Sony stereo that I love, and the remote is much more reliable, as is the cd player. It's much easier to use and much more dependable, soundwise. Comparably, I'm rather disappointed with the newer version....

roserighter says "Treasure chest shape and glowing heart make this CD player a hit" about Disney - Pirates Treasure Chest (PC500B) Boombox

What's better than watching a movie about a dead man's chest? Listening to music from a cool Disney Pirates Treasure Chest Boombox! This isn't your ordinary gray and black boom-box. It is an awesome looking treasure chest. When you pull the lid up you see the glowing pirate heart. There is a place to play your CD's and extra storage areas that are hidden inside of the chest.

The Disney Pirates Treasure Chest Boombox would make a great gift for a teen or preteen pirate fan. The recommendation on the box is for 8 and up.
...
