The zune 30gb it to perfect. It has perfect color and sound, great picture. This size zune it probably the best in sizes wise because it is not to small but not to big either. This 30gb zune has reat memory holds alot. The downloading from the zune marketplace to the computer to the zune 30gb is pretty fast pace. The new zunes that came out are enable to play games and the 30gb has a perfect picture for the games. The hold button it awesome it helps to puase the music without actually stoppin' it. you can download and put movies onto the zune and watch them with pure crystal clear clarity and perfect surround audio great. The settings are easy to handle and very simple and understanding. This is my favorite portably player out of mp3 players and ipods ect. The zune software and the zune account, and zune it very easy to use and very simple if you are not computer eliterit. Zunes are the best.
...

I absolutely love my Ipod Touch! At my current job I am very lucky in regards to the fact that I am able to plug in my headphones and listen to music as I work. Well, the Ipod touch is sooooo amazing!!!! I go home just about every night and download more and more songs, videos and apps on it. I love the fact that when you download music onto the Ipod touch you get a clear, crisp and beautiful image of the Cd cover on your ipod. It is totally great to be able to flip through your album covers and see those images there, it makes it much easier to pick what you want to listen to. Also, being able to download apps is amazing! Sometimes, when I am not in the mood to get up and sit at my desktop pc I grab my ipod and am able to go onto yahoo messenger, google, craigslist, read emails...do whatever I would normally do with the regular computer! I also need to mention the fact that the ipod touch is extremely light weight and slim. You can stick it in yoru pocket and go! I love my ipod touch and...
...

I've been with iPods ever since they first came out. From the Mini to all of the other Nano generations, I own them all. ;)
This has been by far my favorite of them all and is the most aethestically pleasing to my eye (I'd recommend a case to protect it.)

Pros +
Sleek, stylish, comfortable in my hand.. The aluminum casing looks and feels great. The back click wheel really brings out the beauty in it.
To top it off, the screen? Clear, crisp, rich in color.
All that memory!
Not really in the way at the gym. It's small, very light, and because of its shape.. It's fairly comfortable in my pocket.
All the things in the previous Nanos, just more advanced.. And more colors to choose from.

Cons -
Apple changed the inner workings.. What used to charge your iPods now do not for the new generations and your iPod is always more than happy to tell you that on the screen. For someone who has been with them for years now, it's quite the hassle for all your accessories to suddenly be unable to charge...
...

pitcherday says "Beware the 3rd generation Nano click-wheel!" about Apple - iPod Nano 3rd Generation Media Player

I got my 3rd Generation Nano brand-new. I still haven't filled it up. I think the screen is an OK size to watch shows on. If I have to go to the mechanic or wait for my husband at the doctor's I like watching a show. Sound quality is good and you can store photos on it.

The earbuds Apple included are hard plastic and they fell out of my ears all the time. I bought some Skullcandy ones with the soft buds. Not a big-money investment.

Don't plug it into the USB while you have a song on pause. It will freeze the iPod and you have to go online to figure out how to unfreeze it. Don't freak out - it's not broken.

The click wheel is ultra-sensitive. One of the first things I did was to accidentally change the language to Japanese. So I had to have iTunes restore it. It couldn't have been Spanish or French or another language I could have figured out!

I bought a soft neoprene cover for it that has a thick pliable plastic piece to go over the click wheel. It considerably cut down on the sensitivity....
...

The SanDisk Sansa 2GB mp3 player is everything that I want in a music player. I have never owned an mp3 player before this one. I thought about buying an ipod, but they are rather expensive. So I decided to go with another brand. I read up on many other brands of mp3 players so I knew that I was getting the most bang for my buck. I ended up settling on a SanDisk Sansa 2GB mp3 player. I liked all of the features it came with. It comes in a wide variety of colors, so there is one for everyone. I chose the hot pink. It has 2GB of memory, which is enough to hold about 750 songs. That is more songs than I could even come up with yet. It also has an FM radio so that if for some reason you do fill all of the memory, you can still listen to he radio to hear different songs. One feature that it has that was a surprise to me is that it can even record songs of of the radio onto your mp3 player. I think it as an excellent choice. Especially for the $35 price tag.
...

I received my Microsoft Zune (120GB) a few months ago as a gift for my birthday. OMG, am I impressed! The obvious plus is all of the memory. 120GB!!!!! You have to agree, that is ALOT of memory! I have at least 20 full movies and roughly 2,000 songs on mine so far, and it's barely put a dent on the memory meter. I HAVE had a few problems with it, but they were minor, which mostly consisted of problems playing some television episodes on it that I had dowloaded for free off of the internet. Other than that, the screen quality is spectacular and the sound quality is great as well. I work 12-hour shifts at my job, and I listen to songs off of my Zune the entire day, and the battery barely goes down halfway! I do recommend spending a couple of extra dollars on getting yourself an LCD screen cover (you can't belive how many fingerprints just "magically" appear on the screen) and a silicone case (in case you're like me and are prone to dropping things). Thanks for reading my review!
...

My son had the 80gb Zune before he got this one and we were sooooo impressed with it that we decided to get him the 120gb Zune. He loves it! He has downloaded a ton of videos, movies, songs, anything he could ever want and he still has tons of storage left. It took us awhile to figure out how to convert some files but after doing an internet search we quickly figured it out! We've found that Windows Movie Maker is the best way to convert the movies so that they can be downloaded to his Zune. We also bought him a docking station so that he can recharge it easily. Make sure you get a car charger because if you use it half as much as my son does, you'll want to easily be able to recharge it while on the road. You can also download games to play on the Zune..you'll have to pay for the games but they are available. We've not used the Zune Marketplace often as we have our own music subscription through another provider. The Zune 20gb is expensive, but it will hold up over time...
...

I bought the Coby MP610 for my son for a birthday present. I bought it at Big Lots, paid $30, and feel like I got a really good deal. It has survived the wear and tear associated with having an eight year old as an owner for three months. The process for transferring the videos is pretty easy, although you kind of have to figure it out yourself. The owner's manual is a bit fuzzy on the issue, although I suppose that can't be helped. It has a very user friendly interface, however the earbuds broke after only a week.
...

I bought the Craig 1g mp4 player CMP615D about a little over a year ago when it went onsale for $15. I had previously bought other more expensive players and had even bought the extra "accidental" policies because I am very hard on my electronics. My 1st player went for a swim when a canoe got tipped over and my second player got slammed in a car door by my son. Both instances were not things that were covered in those extra policies. So rather than paying for more expensive items that I would probably just break I decided to go with the cheapies. So far this player has survived heavy use, being slammed in the car door (by me this time), being dropped more times that I can count, numerous outings in the rain, being left in the car in freezing and roasting temps, and many other acidents. The battery still holds a great charge and my only complaint is that I wish I could just add extra memory to it. The manual that came with it was a little hard to read, but it is easy enough to go to the...
...

The best things about it are the big screen, the touch pad, all the cool apps to download for it. The bad things are that it is sensitive to the smallest touch sometimes { I am constantly changing my song) and the battery dies soo quickly, after io listen to a couple songs and play some games its dead it doesnt last more than 2 days with me! the speaker on it so you dont have to have headphones to listen to it is neat but its very quite it need s to be double the sound it is now for u to b able to hear it over someone talking. but over it is a very nice piece of technology
...

It's also great to have when you need to kill time while you are waiting because you can subscribe to Podcasts and download movies, tv shows, games, etc. I have an iHome in my office at work and I set up a playlist of songs that I like that are "work friendly" so I don't have to listen to the easy listening stations like all of my co-workers.

I'm totally technologically challenged but even I managed to figure out how to use the iPod touch. Granted it took a quick phone call to a friend who already owned the device but I now use it with ease. I got it for free after purchasing a MacBook during the student rush period at Apple. It is a great deal, I got $100 off, a free iPod touch and a free printer, I definitely cannot complain that Apple products are overpriced anymore. I love the screen and the fact that you can connect to wireless networks making it sort of an emergency computer/email hookup when you are on the go. I use it all the time when commuting and I find that it is the perfect travel companion. I would hesitate to fork over the $300+ dollars to purchase one but for a giveaway, it was a great one. Plus, there are always free songs and TV shows to download on iTunes so that can help you save money as well. Another great invention from the people at Apple.
...

Now they believe that I owe them money because they automatically renewed my service- even though I cancelled it. It took much yelling to get the renewal cancelled. I would never, ever use them again.

I received my Ipod shuffle for mom's day last year and I love it. The shuffle is perfect for people who are on the go. Some people say that they don't like not being able to see the songs and/or artist, but I haven't had a problem with that. I add songs to my shuffle that I like and want to listen to so when a song comes on that I am not in the mood for, I just hit next and move on so for me it isn't a real issue. One of the main reasons I like my shuffle is because I can put it on and clip it to my shirt then go about cleaning or cooking, whatever I need to accomplish. It isn't big and bulkey so I don't have to worry about hitting it or breaking it. I have the blue shuffle but it comes in many different colors which is nice. I use my shuffle daily and haven't run out of room yet. I didn't really want on, but the kids thought I needed one and I am so glad that they decided to give me mine on mom's day!!
...

fomoire says "Don't buy anything from RCA." about RCA - MP3 Player

I had an RCA Mp3 player, model M4204 for about 2 months before it stopped working. I never dropped the item, never got it wet, etc; I took really good care of it. Then it stopped turning on, so I tried charging it. THat didn't work. Then after it refused to take the update, the Mp3 quit charging at all. Eventually, my computer would not even recognize it at all. I contacted the Tech Support; two days after I was supposed to get my reply, I was given instructions on how to fix it. That didn't work. I was told that if I sent the product to them, with a check or money order for $70, they would send me a new one. However, I would also have to pay for the item to be shipped in a way that it would not be damaged. While looking for a new Mp3 online, I noticed that many reviews about all RCA products were complaints, and I did not see a single one reccommending the company, much less the product.
...

sharkbait1990 says "It's a lot better than the 2nd generation!" about Apple - iPod Nano 3rd Generation Media Player

I just bought the ipod nano 3rd generation and I love it! I just upgraded from my Ipod nano 2nd generation and was surprised by the big improvement! Not only is the screen bigger and the capactiy increased, but even the little details like the cover flow, the transition between songs, the games offered and the ability to play movies or music videos is a plus! I like the wider size too because it makes it easier to hold onto. It also makes it easier to find if you loose it :) I bought a silver 4GB and already have appx. 800 songs on there. This is just the right amount of space for me, although if you wanted music videos or movies I would suggest getting the 8GB, or even upgrading to the Ipod classic. Overall, I'm very impressed with the ipod nano 3rd generation and plan on keeping it until it doesn't work anymore! Or at least until i can afford to get an ipod classic...Oh the earphones from Apple are really good too. I don't like the buds that go right into your ear, these...
...

ziggom says "Very Impressive" about Microsoft - Zune (30GB)

I got the 30G Zune for Christmas last year. So far I have seen no flaws in the mp3 player. I used to own an Ipod, but that broke on me within two months, so I personally like the Zune much more than Ipods. Zunes are much cheaper and from what I have found can do as much if not more than what Ipods are capable of. I have added a ton of songs and I have not even made a slight dent in the storage size (I barely filled up 1G, that includes a few videos too.) I have tried the games that come with the system. I was not blown away by any of them, but for free games they are not too bad. I still sometimes find myself playing the poker game. I still listen to a bunch of the free music videos that came with the system. A few of the songs have become favorites of mine. I find it a little dumb that pictures come with the system though, but that is an easy fix with the delete button. Overall this is the best product I have found for the money and would recommend this product to anyone currently in...
...
