When i began attending highschool the ipods were the biggest thing ever, and i mean BIG. If you didn't have one or if you have some lousy mp3 player, certain people would no longer associate themselves with you. haha it was horrible. So when the first ipod nano came out i was so excited and wanted one reeeeeealy bad. I kept begging my parents to get me one, hoping that with christmas and my birthday approaching in months, that id get one. and i did yeyyy! Before i actually got it people told me, "oh don't get it, it's too thin, the screen cracks really easy" and so forth. this definately made me a bit hesitant to get it but i did anyway lol. And here I am, a whooping FIVE years later and it still works! it's in absolute perfect condition, of course the back part that's shiny and what not is a bit scratched up but i use one of those jelly cases that i got for 2 bucks and they really do work.

My husband had gotten into running last year, and for Christmas expressed that he wanted an mp3 player. I did a LOT of research, read reviews online and spoke with friends who had various different players. I considered the ipods but when I found out that if you have an ipod/itunes on your computer ... you can't use any other mp3 players with that computer anymore. That wouldn't have been a big deal except that we have two boys who also LOVE to listen to music and I wasn't going to invest into an ipod for them while they are in elementary school.

The Sansa e260 is SO very easy to use, it offers wonderful features including not only mp3s but viewing photos, watching short video clips, listening to the radio (and has great reception even inside an office building). The unit has a lot of accessories available (arm bands, covers and the like) so you aren't limited at all in how you want to use it, and it is VERY easy to connect to the computer and sync.

I've never really understood the "haters" - those people who just automatically hate the iPod because of its name and association. Sure, from the moment you purchase that shiny iPod object, you sign your soul over to "the corporation" known as Apple who mandates the iTunes download so you can manage your iPod, and purchases have to be in specified format to even play on the device, and for some inane reason Apple decided to change some configuration between the 4th and 5th generation nano that requires an adapter for it to be played on any "older" equipment, and any malfunction of the device REQUIRES that it be shipped back to Apple or an approved service center because you yourself cannot even access the thing...but, I digress. Despite the knowledge that Apple has taken quite a dictatorial role in the whole iPod approach, I simply adore this object. This little stylish player is great! Very easy to use and install!! The sound is excellent!! Best sound from an mp3 player!! Very versatile. You cannot only download music but movies and pictures, too. Plus, one of your pictures can be your own custom wallpaper. You can even make a slideshow of your own selected photos that can be accompanied with a song of your choice. The creative software is simple and easy to use, not very complicated at all. Plus, it also gives you album covers. This little player lets you organize your music into different folders and playlists. I love the raised and different colored buttons. Very easy to identify without looking at the product. It even lets you download and play audiobooks. There isn't a format that this isn't compatable with. I was very amazed by this small sleek player. Not big and bulky like some others on the market. I would recommend this one to everyone and not bad for the price either. Great gift for someone you care about.

The iPod has been known for its reliability, however, my iPod classic has been known to freeze and lag when searching through my music. I'm saying this now because pretty much everything else was a positive investment. I can keep a lot of my music together, whether I'm on the schoolbus getting a ride home or at a party trying to get the mood. This is a fantastic buy for all of you music lovers who can't just pick 1,000 songs to listen to. It's about quality and availability of the things you love, in this case, music.

I bought this IPod for my daughter when she was 6. It was a great first mp3 player. IT clips right on her clothes making it difficult to lose. She is now 9 and it still using it almost daily. We have had to replace the headphones several times. We like this better than the newer shuffles. There are just fewer parts to fall apart.

You cannot use the headphones that come with it for small children as the earbuds do not fit in their ears. We purchased some that have a band arounfd the back of the head and hang on her ears.

We love that we can set and lock the volume so she cannot turn it up too high.

My husband also has this in a blue newer version and he takes it to work and listens to books on it.

My daughter also has ADD and we use this in noisy restaurants as steady noise agitates her, so this helps us get thru meals.

I highl recommend this for anyone with kids as a first mp3 player!!!!

The Sansa 1 Gb mp3 player is a great little player without all the bells and whistles. The player is very small at only 3" long and 1" wide. It has a small screen to view options which are : play music, Fm radio, Recorder, settings, information, artists, album, playlist, equalizer, power, play all. The screen lights up in blue when the menu button is pushed so you can read it in the dark. There are stop, forward, reverse butoons as well. It takes a AAA battery which last a surprisingly long time with normal use . The mp3 player plugs in usb port easily and is easy to put music onto the player. There is also a headphone jack for headphones and this player gets descent sound as well. If you are looking for a player to take with you that will fit in your pocket or purse, that you do not want to worry about, this is the one to get. It is also kid friendly. My son has dropped this several times and it is very durable. He has had it for a year and there are no scratches, dents, or anything on...

Well this could be a long review but I bought this IPOD touch back in 2008 (beginning of the year) I played with it quite a bit and I loved it but my mom stole it from me and literally hasn't given it back since! She is obsessed with it and is constantly downloading different apps and she thinks its the bees knees. I've never seen my 55 year old mother fall in love with anything electronic as madly as shes fallen in love with this IPOD! She can watch TV shows/movies on it, she downloads stuff, plays game, looks and edits photos just all kinds of stuff I find it hard to believe that you can do with todays technology and I think I miss it so much im planning to buy another one this next holiday season or tax return season- I highly suggest this to anyone who is considering it because its literally as amazing as it sounds my mom is CONSTANTLY talking about it and bragging so don't let the price scare you, SO worth it!

I found one of these for a really really good deal on Amazon - it was priced at one cent, with four dollars and ninety-nine cents shipping, so I figured I would go ahead and give it a try.

It turned out that it was not a bad quality product at all - in fact, it is easy to use, provides good sound quality (except through heavily populated areas, but that was somewhat expected because of the nature of the product), and it was very easy to use.

I was unsure of its compatibility with my newer iPod model, but it worked like a champ, and now I use it all the time in the car and I could almost not be happier with this product.

The only complaint I have is that sometimes it is hard to find a station that my iPod transmits to clearly, but once I do it works wonderfully, so I put up with it.

I would recommend this product to just about anyone (whether technologically inclined or impaired) who is looking for an FM transmitter that works well for everyday use is a good value for the price (but don't...

The iPod 120gig is an amazing product, its the greatest for travel on long flights when you've nothing else better to do than listen to music and watch videos. At the moment I have over 4k songs on mine and thats not even filling it half-way up! Amazing! The multimedia this little computer has is great as well, the movie quality is high and you can even buy the movies in HD. How great is that? Not to mention the prices on the multimedia to fill your iPod with are reasonably priced, how great is that? The features on the iPod are also easy to use, just scroll and hit the center button if you want to go back to menu, there's even a nice little tutorial if you like, once again a great product to invest your money into. Take it along for the kiddos so that they can hold it and it doesn't require cd's so they can't break them. I really love my Apple iPod Classic 80G. It literally has tons of memory and comes in a variety of colors. I had one in a dark blue color, and you can get skins (cover / protectors) that add some uniqueness to your iPod. The sound quality that comes from these little things are great and you can adds hundreds of song without making a dent in the memory. The album covers that appear on the screen are very clear and I haven't had any problems with the iPod. I have heard from some people that the screens tend to freeze but that can be easily fixed by simply holding the Menu and the selector button. The battery also lasts for a really long time which is ideal for athletes, as you are constantly on the go and rarely have time to wait for your iPod to charge. It is quite small but not so small that you would lose it. It's great for throwing into your athletic bag or for women, your purses.

I just got my Apple IPod Touch 32 gb for my birthday that just past in September from my wonderful husband. He got it for only $16 but that is a whole other story for another time.

I got it and I really love it and can't imagine my life with out. The abilities are amazing. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I can't be on the internet anywhere that doesn't have a Wi-fi connection. I guess I need to look into paying for a connection so that I can use it at all times.

The really cool thing about the Ipod Touch is you can use it for just about anything the only thing it's missing from the phone is the phone and the camera. It has everything else including Bluetooth.

There are so many applications out there that you can use to make the Ipod Touch unique to you and make things easier for you to use. There is Facebook, Twitter, Google, tons of your favorite stores, movie programs, networking sites, GPS stuff and so many games and other things you can use. The sky is really the limit...

I have the Apple iPod Classic 80G and it is absolutely wonderful. I have one in an Aqua color and I have about 700 songs and still have tons of memory. It is portable and easy to carry around. The sound is crisp and clear and it has a lot of little capabilities on it. It comes with the Solitaire game and a fun music game that randomizes your songs and you have to name that song. The images for albums are really clear as well. I haven't had any problems with my iPod. It has freezed a few times but you simply have to hold the menu and circular button and it restarts. The screen is larger than your typical iPod player. You can upload notes onto your iPod which is really good in times of last minute studying and such. The battery also lasts for a really long time. I simply recharge for 20 minutes and it lasts for hours which is a bonus. A lot of electronics run out of battery really quickly which is makes having the electronic more hectic than necessary.

The first word that came out of my mouth when I listened to a track on this MP3 / Video player was WOW! The sound quality that this tiny little device generates is just amazing. When it comes to MP3 players, I'm VERY picky. I look for a device that gives me rich, crystal clear, high quality sound... with BASS! And this Walkman delivers it. That's not to say that other brands don't deliver high-quality crystal clear sound, but at the same time, not all brands deliver it with outstanding bass and balance. At least, not for this price range.

The equalizer on this Sony Walkman is just perfect, as far as I'm concerned. When you crank up the bass level, you get exactly that - thick, solid bass, without distorting the earphones or affecting the treble. You can either select the presents that are pre-loaded in this device, or customize the frequency levels until you reach your desired sound.

I absolutely love the Bose IPOD Dock. My husband and I bought ours last year and have not stopped using it since. The sound that comes out of this little portable device is amazing. You can truly have a houseful of music just by turning this on. You can also hook it up to your computer through the audio jack so if you do not have extra speakers or speakers at all in your computer, this is another great option for that a sit can be used for multiple tasks. Super easy to move around as it is lightweight. Love that the docking station for the IPOD rotates back into the speaker so dust and dirt do not accumulate when you are not using it. Compared to other IPOD docking stations, this is a bit pricey, but it is worth it for the Bose quality of sound! And it charges your Ipod while you listen. It charges faster if it is plugged in to the wall, but the cord can also be taken out and it will still charge. Great item to spend a little money on!

This is an excellent choice for anyone still wanting to make the jump from Vinyl Records and CDs to their very FIRST MP3 player.

I owned this littlte item and upgraded to a 4GB MP3 player after...

I would highly reccomend anyone to buy a Sandisk brand MP3 Player, 1GB or at least 2GB when you're new to the MP3 game.

You don't have to spend over 100 Dollars for an IPOD simply for the APPLE BRAND

You can buy a Sandisk MP3 player and save money and use the left over money for other things..

The Sandisk MP3 player is very very very easy to use, you don't even have to read the Manual that comes with the box. Just plug it in, charge and download music.

i personally dont have the apple ipod touch, but my mom does and i use it when i can. this ipod is a lot of fun to use. first of all, it has a touch screen. and you always feel in power with a touch screen =) next is all of the apps you can download. we have put soo many apps on this ipod, and we havent even touched the memory!!! of course this is teh second generation highest size ipod (i cant remember what size it is). but the ipod is definitely worth it! you can download an app for just about everything. games are a lot of fun to play on teh ipod touch, especially when you have to move and tilt your ipod around to play. internet access is very easy to use with wifi. all you have to do is wait for a little pop up asking if you want to connect to the wifi it has found. then you are off. the quality of the movies is great since the screen is bigger than that of the regular ipods. we have a lot of fun playing around on this ipod and everything else. (especially checking email...)

the ipod 5th generation video 30 gb mp3 player is an amazing ipod!!! i received this ipod as a gift a year ago and i absolutely love it!!! it is in excellent amazing condition. i have nevr had any problems with it. i received this ipod used, but it is definitely worth it because there are no problems, and everything about this ipod is amazing. the battery life is good for a day and then some. The Philips MP3 Gear cassette adapter allows you to hook up your mp3 player and listen to it through a cassette player. I haven't tried it in an older boombox / cassette radio, but in my girlfriend's car (which came standard with an FM/AM radio / cassette player), it works well. The cassette adaptor is a cassette with a cord that connects to the headphone jack of your mp3 player. Simply insert the cassette as you would play any ordinary cassette (with the cord-side up, which will protrude out of the player) into the player, make sure both the cassette and mp3 players are on, and enjoy the music.

My girlfriend bought this gadget for around $10, and likes it immensely. It saves time on burning mp3s or CDs to cassette (or buying cassettes, as those are sure phasing out and will become obsolete), and you can flip through an array of songs faster than changing cassettes. Just be careful of the road, of course.
