jazzysax13 says "Cannot leave the house without my ipod!" about Apple iPod Classic 80G

I absolutely love my ipod. It is the perfect size to fit in a bag or purse and not get in the way. The battery lasts FOREVER! I can use mine for an entire week while doing work or working out and not have to charge it. Also, the amount of music it can hold is fantastic! I have tons of music and I never really know what kind I am going to want to listen to, so having 80 GB has been so nice!

Though it doesn't have a camera as some of the newer versions, I think it is still a good buy. If you want to use it for working out, you will have to buy an arm band separate, but those are inexpensive and easy to find in stores such as Target or Walmart.

I honestly cannot remember not having my ipod to listen to, and this model, especially was a great upgrade to my old first-generation 4 GB one. At first I was a little hesitant about purchasing a new ipod since my previous one was still in excellent condition, just too small, but I am glad I did.
...

SidneyAlanna says "Terrible, A Waste of Money---Do NOT Buy!!!" about Element Electronics - GC-1020

I picked out this mp4 as a early Christmas present, had it on layaway for 2 weeks, only for it to suck. Why?

FIRST OF ALL: The manual is retarded. They mispelled words, and can't even use spaces or commas the right way. It looked like a 5th grader typed it, and printed it out on the computer. And the type was SUPER small. Dipwits.

SECONDLY: The mp4 didn't respond to my touch. It was the most difficult thing to get to the Settings menu. It frustrated me so much, I wanted to set fire to it.

THIRDLY: They give you cheap, ugly earphones. Dipwits.

FOURTHLY: To download music to the mp4, you have to convert them to some stupid file, by downloading this CD they gave you to the computer. The CD was a dud. It didn't even work!!!

Don't be fooled by the nice big screen with touchscreen buttons!

DO NOT BUY. WASTE OF $60.
...

dancelivelove17 says "I LOVE my iPod!" about Apple - iPod Nano (2 GB)

I could not live with out my Apple iPod nano!! It is amazing!!

It can fit so many songs! With the help of iTunes, all of my music is easily stored and organized. It comes in so many colors too!!! We have a total of eight iPods in my family (which is only five members). That tells you that something must be good, right?!

It is extremely easy to use, too. iTunes offers tons of great help, and the Apple company is so easy to talk to as well.

I love that I can make playlists on the go, or at home. I can share my music with any computer at my house and the Genius feature automatically makes playlist that fit just for me. It is amazing!!

Walk in to any Apple store, and it is always full. The customer service is incredible. They are only there to help you. If you have any questions, doubts, or concerns about any Apple products you can just stroll into an Apple store, and they are sure to help!
...

flubber says "Music to my ears" about Samsung - YP-U3J QLY MP3 Player

I love using my samsung mp3 player. I am an exercise entusiast, triathlete, and spinning instructor. Having music to exercise to is very important for me. It is also very important for me to have music to play for my spinning class.

I exercise or train 5 times a week readying myself for my spin class and upcoming races. I love to exercise to music and when I go to the gym it is even better to have a compact system to carry with me. I use to have a walkman that played tapes. It was four times the size of my mp3 and I needed to clunk around the appropriate tapes for my class or just for exercise. I am thankful for this lightweight, small music device to carry around. My bag of workout equiptment is alot easier to carry around.

My class appreciates the music quality I now have with this mp3 player. It is a world of difference compared to tapes. The tapes get so worn out that the sound gets muffled. They love the new sound, even if they do not love all the music I play.

I also play my mp3 player...
...

grenmse says "Great portable player with long battery life" about SanDisk Sansa Fuze (4 GB) Digital Media Player

As tech savvy as I am computer-wise I still had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the digital music world. (For example: "Gimmie my CD's and tapes back man! Digital technology never lasts more than 8 years!") So i bought myself this 4 Gig. Sansa Fuze. in blue. It was more reasonably priced than other high ticket players at around $60 and it comes in several colors. It is also a nice portable size, has a long battery life and a removable storage card. The only thing it lacks is applications. ( I really wish someone would come out with a nice inexpensive mp3 player with video and a decent GPS but have yet to find that lol.)

A few more good things about this player: I am rough on my electronics and my poor Sansa Fuze has taken a beating and kept on going. It has been dropped and plopped into totebags and handbags and even thown around in the car when whe had to stop short to avoid an accident. The battery life is great. I have gone on 6-7 hour trips before without a recharge. And charging...
...

I am not a Apple fan at all! but after the iphone came out I had to get an ipod touch. I use it more for games and aps and internet then music. I only have the 8gb version but still can have tons of fun on the thing, i just don't use it for my huge music library i have a zune for that. But the touch's screen is so precise and accurate and makes all the aps and games very fun on it. If anyone is considering one i would suggest to get the smallest one and plan not to put your whole music library on it but that just me. I love the web browser and the facebook ap is nicer then using a pc and way better then most phones. I really wish i had the second gen which also includes a speaker which is nice. Another great ap is the youtube which looks amazing on the touch. I wish all the time my ipod touch was an iphone so if you can get the phone go for it and you have another company not ATandT then i would suggest the ipod touch newest ones. Well worth it in my book
...

Flash memory and device manufacturer SanDisk clearly has a thorough understanding of the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." We sure are pleased about that, because when the company decided to update its extremely popular Sansa Clip, it could have mangled a perfectly peachy player. Luckily, SanDisk knew a good thing when it saw one and created the Sansa Clip+, a fantastic follow-up that builds upon the great foundation of its predecessor. The player continues to offer an ultracompact design complemented by useful features and solid sound quality--and all at an unbeatable price. The Clip+ is available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB options for $39.99, $49.99, and $69.99, respectively....

vova says "cool is cool" about Klipsch Image S4i Earphones with Microphone Earphone / Headphone

he Klipsch Image S4 earpieces do not feel as high-end as those of its sibling, the X5, but then the S4 only costs one-third as much, so we won't knock them for that. More important is the fact that the 'buds are ultrasmall and offer a tapered, bent shape that fit our ears perfectly. This combined with the soft, oval eartips gave us a supercomfortable fit that sealed out external noise. Klipsch includes two sizes of standard tips and one double-flanged model, but all of them are on the small side, so those with larger ears may have some fit issues. The package also contains a metal box for storing the earphones and an earwax cleaning tool.

Our only real design concern about the Image S4 earphones is the cable. It's very thin, from the Y section descending from each earpiece to the gold-plated 3.5mm plug at the end. This raises some concern for durability, though this is allayed slightly by Klipsch's inclusion of a two-year warranty. Also, the reinforced L-plug should help prevent breakage...
...

The set of features packed into the Zune HD are unapologetically focused on media playback and entertainment. On the main menu you'll find options for music, videos, pictures, radio, Marketplace (Microsoft's music download portal), and Internet. Some features, such as podcasts, audio books, and applications, are given main menu categories once there's content to justify it.

Music tops the Zune HD's main menu for good reason. More than anything else, the Zune HD is a portable music machine designed for curious fans with large appetites for new music. The audio player supports MP3, AAC, WMA, and WMA Lossless formats, as well as audio book files from Audible or OverDrive. Like most MP3 players, the music you sync the Zune HD with can be quickly sorted by artist, album, song, genre, and playlist, but the Zune HD's unique strengths as a music player are revealed once you dig down to a particular artist or song. For example, when you select an artist to play, you'll get a list of their albums...
...

Now in its third year, Apple's iPod Touch has evolved so many features and uses beyond media playback that we're not really sure what to call it anymore. Some flock to the Touch for its first-class mobile Web browser and e-mail support, while others see it primarily as a portable gaming device, and some still pick it up for good old-fashioned music and video playback. No matter how you choose to define the iPod Touch, Apple's third-generation version has arrived, flaunting 8gb 32GB, and 64GB capacities priced respectively at $199, $299, and $399.

Punkrock666 says "Decent mp3 player from a low-end brand" about Coby - ?

I actually got my Coby MP600 4G by using my stored up 'My Coke Rewards' points so I can't review this based on price. What I can tell you is that it doesn't record video, and although it has a video screen (2"x2"?) the image quality isn't great (it's barely decent, actually). The cool thing is it holds 4 gigs in its tiny frame, is easy to operate (once you know what the buttons do - you have to read the manual, because they're not labeled), and uploads songs pretty quick. The sound quality was better than expected and the headphones that came with it were decent also. If you just want an entry-level mp3 player this would be a good start. One warning - I read all (and I mean ALL) the paperwork on this player, and the manual indicates in fine print that 'the cables that come with the device may contain lead - wash hands after handling'). I don't know what the heck that's all about, if it's imported from China or what, and I've never read the manuals for other mp3 players to know...
...

I Love My I-Pod I always have it with me, I am constantly listening to music. My Ipod has lots of space and very easy to work and save files to.
However sometimes it does not like to connect to the internet, and freezes.

I bought games on mine, but I have to play either the ones that were on there or the ones I bought cant mix and match if I want to I have to reset the system.

Its light and durable considering I am a person that drops things all the time this one has lasted for me. I have had it for 2 years now I believe it is.

The battery last me a long time I do not turn it off during the day cause I use it in my car and around the house, so its always running.

I do wish that I could save the files on my ipod to a zip drive cause its way more convienet then haveing to redownlaod my music when I get a new ipod. Also the i tunes software you can not purchase something on one computer and get it on the next even if you are on your account. I know they do this so you dont share i suppose...
...

vova says "cool is cool" about SanDisk - sansa c200

I just got a c240 and while it seems to be a good basic player with several nice features, it has several drawbacks.

1. Only chargeable through proprietary USB connection. I understand why they have given it the proprietary connection, so they can produce customized accessories for it (like iPod), and I think that is a great idea. But they still should have given it a standard mini-USB connection as well, like their m200 series. If you lose their proprietary cable and haven't bought (and been willing to carry around) extra accessories, your player will become unusable, whereas it is fairly easy to find a standard mini-USB cable in a pinch.

2. While charging, the player firmware does not allow the use of the player except to transfer files from the computer. This is a really annoying problem that the e200 series also had, but which I hear Sandisk has fixed in the latest firmware for the e200. I certainly hope they will also fix it for the c200 series. Either that, or go back to using
a...

...

I LOVE my Zune!!! Its so much better than ipod!!! Zune lets you use practicly any music company to put music on your Zune. It is so practical. I can buy a cd at walmart, rip it on to my computer and sync it to my Zune. Its as easy as snaping your fingers. Well what if you don't want to buy a whole cd. You can purchace music from literaly anywhere. My favorites are walmart and Amazon. If you don't want to do that, you can purchess a Zune card for $15 or $25. With that you can buy music, tv shows, and now movies. I've had my zune for almost 3 years and its still goin strong. Another good thing about zune is you don't have to charge it on the computer. You can charge it on a walk charger, the computer, or even the car. Zune also has a wide screen on it, not some 2 inch screen that you can tell if the people are people or ants. Videos are also very flexible with zune. If you know how, you can take a video off or google or you tube and put it on your Zune!!!! How amazing is that!!! If...
...

I paid $19.95 for this little mp3 player. I holds 512 megabytes which is enough for me. It has a lighted face with colors to choose from such as red gold , blue , --it also displays the name of the mpp3 playing. This hooks up to a usb port to transfer songs from your computer onto it, it also comes with headphones or earbuds for you to listen with. It runs on one double a battery that lasts quite a while. I use mine often and I like it that it is small and easy to carry in my pocket or purse even. I don't have alot of extra money to spend on expenisve ipods so this coby version works fine fo rme. I think itsa great price and I would definitely reccomend it to others to buy. I have had it over a year and it still works great! It has fast forward and backwards features as well --making finding your favorite mp3 easy. The headphones are great too, and if anything should happen to them, you can use any earbuds with this player.
...

The Ipod touch is, to sum up in a few words, the greatest mp3 player ever. It only does everything. Featuring moderately massive memory capabilities, a super sleek interface, and top- of- the- line touch qualities, the Ipod touch is simply an mp3 player that caters to everybody, even those who do not readily listen to music. On one side, the Ipod touch appeals to music lovers with its innovative album wallpapers and the wifi makes adding new songs a breeze. On the other hand, the Ipod touch appeals to everybody else with its intuitive widgets, entertaining apps, and useful guides, all of which can be found in the App store located conveniently on the Ipod's first page. Honestly, the Ipod touch allows users to skip the computer process because the Ipod touch is the closest anyone will ever get to finding an electronic device as small as the Ipod with as many computer utilities.
WendyBousquetDulac says "Ipod touch second generation 16 gb is amazing!" about Apple - iPod Touch 16 GB

We purchased the Ipod Touch 2nd generation with 16 gb of memory for one of our children. This product can hold not only downlaod music but also videos and games for enterteinment. Ipod touch can also get connected to wifi which is great for those of us who are addicted to Facebook. My child has shown me so many unique qualities that this piece of equipment can do and I am amazed at how far technology has come since my days of being introduced to Atari and MTV. Now we can bring MTV with us or download over 1000 songs to listen to. Then when you get tired of the music you have you can start all over and download new music. After watching and using my child's Ipod Touch I now am asking for one. Maybe this Christmas Santa will put me on the Good list and surprise me with one under the tree. Oh this item is also light weight and very attractive. It also comes in a variety of colors too. I am also amazed at the sound quality of this system and there are so many affordable speaker systems that......

acaze1 says "I love this. Its just missing the phone." about Apple - iTouch

I love this. I have the 32G and its a monster. I've had it for two years now and I still have space. I love the internet feature called safari. I came actually go online and check my emails. The coolest thing is that I can send emails. I have downloaded movies, videos and music. The screen is large enough to look at movies comfortibly. I love being able to see the album covers. You can search your music by album, artist, genre or songs. You can also use it to entertain. They sell docking stations to listen to music. Cons:The earbugs that come with it are horrible so you will need to replace those. Also, you can not access music, videos or movies from another computer. The itouch and most apple products can only be connected to one system at a time. Meaning, if you want music from your friends computer so can forget about it. Or, if your computer crashes you will lose all your music from itunes.
...

doglover222 says "Very good MP3 Player" about SanDisk - Sansa m240 (1 GB) MP3 Player

This MP3 Player I bought for a very reasonable price has proven to me the best bang for my buck. It is a small, compact, and portable item for me to carry anywhere. I had it for almost a year and there been no technical problems. This brand of MP3 player is very durable and has a lot of nifty features not found in other MP3 Players. First, the back screen lights up with almost a neon like blue. This is very helpful if you are in a dark place where one cannot see as clear in the light. The entire screen is digitized. This means all the controls from what song is playing to how minutes are left in the song is visible on the tiny MP3 Player screen. I really like this feature because it gives me all the information about what song and album is playing on my MP3 Player. There is a FM Transmitter which gets a fairly decent amount of radio stations with sufficient amount of memory to hold a few songs. If you searching for an MP3 Player which can hold a gazillion number of songs. Then, this...
...

yolandazwei1 says "a thumb up" about Samsung P2 (8 GB) MP3 Player

I got this as a bday present and at first I wanted an ipod-touch screen. Once I added the music and everything I feel in love with it. I love the fact that I can choose any song I want for that moment. Aslso it was so easy to set up. I didn't have any problems installing the songs I have on old cds I have in the house and music I had on my computer. I also love that I can install over 1,000 songs. I'm one person that tends to get bored if there are 100 songs on my mp3 players. My music is so different from other people so when I want music on my player I want my favorite music set up on my player and this does it for me. Even if I change my mp3 player I will likely go with the same brand. I also like the fact that transfering my music from A to B was easy. I'm a person that reads instruction but also want a product that is easy to handle and arrange how I want my stuff to be. I would tell peopel this is a good product but if you like something else than good for you but I would give this...
...
