Me and my husband got tire of buying and burning DVDs so we went to Best Buy and purchased this new little media thing that hooks directly ino your tv.It has to be like flat screen or a newer tv and it is called Western Digital HD TV Media Player. This thing is very small, compact not to large at all.It fits right next to your flat screen. It comes with a remote control and it plays all music and movies. It has a slot that you insert a memory stick in and then it takes that info and it transfers it to the screen. You will see like a slide down thing when the media player comes on and it will show like movie and music icons and you tap it and then it shows all the movies or music that you have saved on your memory stick and then you just hit the one you want to watch and you watch it.If you like it then you can save it in your video file on your computer. The quality of the movie is really good as fra as the viewing. You can get cam videos or anything it will avi and all the other ones.It...
...

TheBard says "A Stellar HD Cable Box, So Far" about Cisco - AT&T U-Verse Cisco IPN-330HD Cable Receiver

Bottom-Line: If you are thinking about going with AT&T U-Verse you'll want to request the Cisco IPN-330HD Cable Receiver, you'll be glad you did.

No longer willing to put up with the Dish, we recently had AT&T U-Verse installed (we opted for the HD digital cable service and broadband Internet) and so far the results are spectacular using the AT&T U-Verse Cisco IPN-4320 DVR Receiver! And we had an additional two AT&T U-Verse Cisco IPN-330HD Cable Receivers; one for the master bedroom and another for my daughters room.

The 411

The small, silver, Cisco IPN-330HD Cable Receiver isn't a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), but a simple cable receiver that is capable of playing back programming on the Cisco IPN-4320 DVR Receiver, including the ability to record programming onto the DVR receiver, as well as playback, and pause, recorded programming. And added bonus: the ability to stream both HD and SD programming.

The front of the Cisco IPN-330HD Cable Receiver is fitted with the usual...
...

jpalmerbean says "Could be SOOO much better" about Iomega - Screen Play Pro HD

We bought this home multimedia player to work together with out Network Storage we had just recently gotten. We wanted to use this instead of every time when we want to watch a movie having to turn on one of our computers to access all our files on the network. Well, unfortunately for some reason the Iomega doesn't see anything else on the network unless you turn on everything at the same time (usually the network storage is always on). So we have to turn on a server that does routing in order for it to even work! Then when we finally can see the network storage, in order to access it you need to type a username and password. That is normal. What is not normal is that you can not save the username and password and therefore have to type it in every single time you turn the thing on!! Talk about frustrating! There has also been no firmware updates to correct any of these problems and support for the product sucks!!! It would have been better if we had bought one of those little dells (same...
...

OldHippie says "Good City Reception" about Terk - TV4 Low-Profile Indoor TV Antenna

Short and sweet. What was once only good living on a hill away from wires, buildings and other obstructions for analog TV signal, is now great for Digital TV reception. About the strangest looking indoor antenna I've ever seen...BUT WORKS!

My Mom used to have this same antenna for analog TV reception. It worked great for her. Her apartment building was on a high hill. She never had to rotate it to find a station.

I live in the middle of the city. Some TV towers are north of me, some south. Yes, sometimes I have to turn it slightly to pick up one particular station. The rest come in with a strong signal. Can be ordered on-line from Radio Shack for $19.95. Chose the "Ship To Store" option and save the shipping cost. Don't ask me...??? If it ships to your house, it's 4 or 5 bucks. Ship it to your closest Radio Shack store and shipping is free.
...

Lisisme says "Great product - lousy assembly instructions" about Meliconi - Flat 3 TV Wall Mount

I just bought the Meliconi Flat TV wall mount system called "Space System Flat 3". It cost over $350.00. The Italian Meliconi wall (and table) mounting systems for flat screen TVs ( http://www.meliconi.it ) are expensive, very stylish and innovative and work perfectly IF you can figure out how to put them together. The schematics and instructions are the worst I have ever seen. They have no Web pages available with assembly instructions that I could find. I called them in Italy (39-051-763341) and they were not helpful. In fact, they could have cared less that their assembly instructions are useless and I was not happy. I don't know how they can expect to sell an otherwise excellent product to the world at large when they offer no assistance and they don't have a clue how to draw assembly schematics. Maybe they should ask Ikea how they have managed to do it so well....

brianlilly says "Great way to connect more component video sources to your TV" about Audio Authority Component 4x1 Audio/Video Switcher (AA1154A)

I picked up the Audio Authority component video switch box because my TV only has one component video input. I finally got tired of manually switching the component cable between my DVD player and HDTV receiver. I found this product after searching for similar devices on the net. From the feature list is did everything I needed, but without extra bells and whistles so I didn't end up paying for anything I won't use.

The unit is fairly small (about 3"x4"x6") and straightforward to use. Basically on the back of the box there are 4 sets of inputs (component video plus optical and digital coax audio) and one set of outputs. The unit automatically selects the output based on a "live" audio input. If more than one input is on, it selects the lowest numbered input to display. The manual warns about some devices that always output a null digital audio signal even when the device is powered off. It recommends connecting those devices to lower priority inputs on the switcher. ...
...

matthewdfleming says "A perfect amp for a pair (or two) of speakers" about AudioSource 100 2-Channel Power Amplifier

I bought the AudioSource Amp 100 2-Channel Power Amplifier at Amazon(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00026BQJ6/104-9011503-1260704) for $95 USD. I needed it to drive a couple of speakers that were going to be used for my new squeezebox network music player. It was challenging to find a simple, single-task, inexpensive amplifier. The amp was perfect for what I needed.

There was one thing that was confusing; the signal-sensing auto-on/off switching feature. Based upon other reviews I wasn't the only one who ran into this. There are two inputs into the device: input 1 and input 2 (duh). Input 1 is the auto-switching input. It is intended for something that isn't going to be on all of the time (e.g. a portable cd player) and should override whatever is plugged in to Input 2. Input 2 is the dedicated always-on default that gets overridden when something is sending a signal to Input 1.

So... when I plugged my player into Input 1 the amp would shut off whenever a song was ending...
...
