The Zenith DTT900 Digital to Analog Converter Box has really been a great investement. It is normally priced at $70, with the free card provided by the government, the price was only $30. The pictures are clear, the setup is easy, and navigation is dummy-proof. — The only downfall in my opinion, is that you still need a regular antenna. We had to purchase a new antenna that had great signal ranges. Because we live under a hole bunch of trees, reception is not great and we don't receive a lot of the channels we could if we didn't have trees. I wish there was a way that it didn't need an antenna — ...

After getting a new plasma TV, an HD digital terminal, dvd, vcr, video game consoles it started to get very cluttered with all of the remotes. I began with the Harmony 659 which was ok. I upgraded to the 880 and it's been simply awesome. I had one issue with configuring the favorite channels but since the configuration is online, I just sent an email to Harmony support and they fixed the configuration for me on their end and simply told me to update the remote with the new settings and everything was fixed! Great support and a great...

The Logitech Harmony One Remote is an absolute must have! I really don't know how we functioned without it. The constant battle of finding a lost remote; those days are long gone! — The Harmony One is a all-in-one remote that actually works. When you take the remote out of the box, the first thing you will notice is the sturdiness of it; quite impressive. The second thing I noticed is the remote actually has a touch sensitive display screen on it. One more thing...IT'S RECHARGABLE!!!! NO MORE BATTERIES!! — While the remote is charging, it is recommended to write down all of the makes and model numbers of the items you want the remote to control, ie: cable box, tv, surround system, etc. You will need the makes and model numbers in order to install them into the remote. — After you have charged the remote and compiled your list of makes and models numbers you are now ready to program the remote. Programming is very easy...

Perhaps I am alone in expecting to get what you pay for (although i got mine free) but I really wasnt impressed. You can get quality universal remotes for MUCH cheaper and still downsize to one remote. Especially if you have (in my opinion) 3 or less remotes. The price seems to be geared more towards people who have infrared EVERYTHING. I got it for free and i still dont want to keep the thing. — — i got mine set up and it was working great, and I was only kind of digging it. But that luke warm affection didnt last long. Over the course of about 3 days slowly but surly the functions seemed to unprogram themselves. To try and briefly explain, to turn on my "watch tv" setup was this: — — turned on cable box — turned tv on — set it to hdmi — — — After working fine for about a week it started turning the setting to various different tuner options instead of hdmi, like component 1 or video 3....

chinkums says "Great way to eliminate many remotes!" about Logitech - Harmony One Remote

We have had this remote for about a month now and it is fabulous! Unlike other universal remotes we have used before - this one set up easily and actually worked with almost all of our electronic. It worked with the tv, cable box, sound system, xbox (including media center). However it does not work with the PS3. It can also work with fireplaces and fans that have remotes! — It is easily operated. With 1 push of a button I can turn on the tv, cable box and sound system. This used to take 3 remotes. However you have to hold the remote far enough away that the signal can go to all electronics. Sometimes it will not turn everything on. At first this was really annoying. But them we realized you can press the help button. It will in-turn send out another signal. If that still didn't fix the problem it will walk you through each item and send a signal to just this item. Mainly the problem is we weren't pointing in the direction of the item. The help function has corrected the issue...

As a Bzz Agent (check out their website by Googling it since I can't post the link here), I was so happy to sign up for this campaign. — — I received a Logitech Harmony One universal remote to use and review. We've tried universal remotes before with limited success. I wasn't really looking forward to using this one. I didn't think it would work. — — Logitech Harmony One will control everything. I mean it. It will control your tv, satellite dish, cable box, stereo, home theatre system, game systems...any infrared controlled device! — — You set up the remote by plugging in a cable to the remote and to your computer. Pop in the included disk and answer some questions on the screen. This took me a while, since I wasn't confident about answering some of the questions. I did run into one problem but finding the answer and resolving it was pretty quick and very easy. If I can do it, so can you! — — The first thing I noticed is how...

Ok, we bought the HDTV, Blue Ray, DVR, and game system. We have the remotes for the television, cable/dvr, blue ray, dvd player. I tried going with the "universal" remote that came with the cable box, but, was constantly having to teach the wife & daughter how to use this remote. I had no problems using it, however, I do admit it was not the easiest remote to use. So, I started searching for a better universal remote and discovered remote utopia in the Logitech Harmony 880. The remote seemed a little pricey, but, if you do your shopping you can find a pretty good deal on this remote. — After purchasing the remote I quickly discovered even at full retail, this is an amazing remote! It's incredibly easy to setup, just plug it into your computer via the USB port and use the Logitech software to configure it by telling it what devices you have, it's really that simple. My wife loves it, my daughter loves it, I love it, what more can you...

I have been using this remote for about 1 month. It is great. The programming is straight forward, you do have to read the onscreen comands and make sure you understand them. Hoeever, if you make a mistake it is easy to correct. — The cradle charger works very well. I keep it next to my favorite chair. It does need to be within 3 feet of a plug. I have not tested how long the remote keeps a charge. — The number pad is low on the remote and can be akward at first. You need to keep your hand flexiable or use two hands. — My 4 year old uses to work his DVD player he picked the remote and used the correct buttons the first time. I was leary of the claims by Logitech, however, they were correct so far. — ...

Welcome to the digital age using an analog TV. Several months ago I went on line to (http://www.ntia.doc.gov/dtvcoupon) and processed my two coupon cards for Digital-to-Analog Converter Boxes. Not being fond of the cable company either, I was eager to try 'em out. I had THE MOST BASIC cable package which included only local St. Louis stations, government access programming, all the shopping networks (puke) and the local public access channels. I had to go with it... The landlord would not allow me to mount an outside antenna and an inside antenna only received blurs. — There are good and bad points to a converter box. The good...the picture is as good or better than cable.
I received my Logitech Harmony One remote from Bzz agent product test at first I was worried that it would be hard to program but I found thats its easy to program and works like a dream. — We have a system that requires us to use the DVD player surround sound to remote to turn the TV up or down, This was always such a pain and we would also have to select TV viewing on the same remote to hear it yet switch to another remote to to select the imput for the TV depending on if we were watching a DVD or just cable .

— After years of suffering with 5 remotes on my living room table I finally decided to get a universal remote. The Harmony One remote is a new addition to the Logitech lineup and as such has most of the best features of previous models. The main feature it lacks is RF capability, but I wasn't interested in that anyways. — — My preference in remotes is for something that I fits well in my hand and that I can find the right button by touch. For that reason I wasn't interested in any of the flat/wide remotes with large touchscreens (but few buttons). The form factor of the Harmony One is exactly what I was looking for--about the size of a normal dvd player remote--with buttons for play, pause, enter, volume, channel, etc reasonably laid out. As a bonus this remote has a motion sensor that turns on a backlight, so even if you aren't familar with the remote there's no problem using it in a dark room. The backlight lights up both the touch LCD near the top as...
