I have been using the Plantronics CS50 for a couple of years now. It fits comfortably on my ear and most of the time I don't even notice that it's there. Every once in awhile I find myself in the bathroom with it still attached to my head. It beeps nicely in my ear when my phone rings so that I know my phone is ringing. I can answer it from where ever I am. I can fax information while I'm on the phone with the person so that I don't have to worry about getting distracted and forgetting. I don't miss very many calls because my phone is always with me. This product has a very long range and beeps at me when I'm getting too far away. I have neck problems and this allows me to talk on the phone comfortably. The battery has never gone dead on me during business hours and I always recharge it when I'm not at work. The calls are very clean and the person on the other end can always here me clearly also. I would recommend this product to anyone. Worth every penny. If I...
...

Katina says "Plantronics Voyager 520 makes talking/driving a breeze!" about Plantronics Voyager 520 75859-01 Bluetooth Headset

I put off a long time getting a bluetooth as I didn't want to look like one of those yahoos walking down the street talking to themselves. I do that, but didn't want to do it with something attached to my head. I also don't like things in my ears. The Plantronics Voyager 520 has a nice little bud which fits just on top of the ear canal - not all the way in it, so it's very comfortable and blocks out external noise. You can flip the ear holder to either ear and it sets quite nicelly. The first time I used it I called a picky friend and after 30 minutes announced I was on my new toy. They were shocked at the quality. Charge lasts a while. Since then I have bought 2 as gifts. Check it out.
...

bkovacs says "Comfortable and clear... but expensive" about Plantronics CS55™ Wireless Headset

I had a wired Plantronics telephone headset at my work and really enjoyed using it. I didn't mind the wire at all, and the headset was comfortable, clear and easy to use. Unfortunately, it died (a little too soon, I thought) and I was given a Plantronics CS55 telephone headset to replace it.

The Plantronics CS55 Telephone Headset costs about $175 on Amazon. A decent wired headset costs $100 less.

What it is

The Plantronics CS55 Telephone Headset is a wireless model that uses DECT technology. Using frequencies in the 1.9 GHz range, the CS55 will not interfere with home WiFi networks or with any popular cordless phones. DECT means that the Plantronics CS55 uses a spread-spectrum system to maintain a wireless connection with a minimum of noise, static and breakup.

The Plantronics CS55 Telephone Headset consists of two primary components: a base station that stands about five inches tall and a headset. The headset comes with a variety of mounts, including a couple different over-the-ear...
...

I bought 2 of this model on line about 2 years ago. I did have to send both back for warr service but other than that they have been great. Due my husband breaking his I have tried to replace them with the stereo 855 model. And when he didn't like the preformance on those we tried a Jawbone. Both were such a disapointment that he repaired his 320 for a third time and is still using it even with the ear piece missing. I must say I was disapointed in the performance of the 855's (I'm not to happy with Amazon where I bought them as well) and the Jawbone as well.
...

Jo says " Plantronics - Explorer 360 - an inexpensive and good Bluetooth" about Plantronics - Explorer 360

I bought my husband a Motorola Bluetooth and when I returned it I was told that "I would never recommend a Motorola." Well obviously someone in Best Buy did. My husband talks to me 99% of the time and the other 1% to friends and co-workers. I bought the Plantronics Explorer 360 which is a very good and inexpensive Bluetooth. If you are a (just to name one occupation that requires a lot of in-the-car talking) realtor I would say to spend over $100. For our purposes the $32 (give or take) I spent on it was well worth the upgrade.

What the Plantronics Explorer 360 comes with:

A car charger

An on/off call control button

Microphone

Over the ear swivel ear-loop

Volume control

A one-year warranty

Seven hours of continuous talk time

Eight days of standby from one charge

Hands free talking up to 33 feet away from your cell phone

Indicator light that blinks when the battery is low and if you have missed calls.

It measure 2.2" by .8" x .6"

Jo says "I can't understand you I said to the Bluetooth H390" about Motorola - Universal Bluetooth Wireless Headset H390

Any time now Massachusetts will not allow (thankfully) the ability to hold cell phones while driving. I did not have a lot of money the day I bought my husband the Motorola Universal Bluetooth Headset H390. I bought the least expensive one that didn't come with batteries, i.e. the battery is rechargeable. My husband has used it twice and I hope Best Buy will take it back.

Some specifications from motorola.com:

The range is 33 feet.

It measure (H x W x D) 2.1inches high by .63 inches wide by .472 deep.

It is very lightweight. I can't imagine anything weighing less.

The talk time is up to 8 hours.

The standby time is up to 8.3 days.

The Motorola Universal Bluetooth Headset H390 has a battery level indicator, volume control, and an in-ear ear-bud with over-the-ear mount.

All that is well and good except for one problem. The site says "outstanding audio quality" and the audio quality is horrible. My husband wasn't going to tell me but I had a feeling he wasn't using it because...
...

beebopper says "Died after two months - no technical help " about Anycom - PAROS-10 Mini Bluetooth Headset

I purchased the AnyCom PAROS-10 Mini Bluetooth Headset in February. By April it quit working. It blinks blue-red-blue-red.... I have charged it and tried to troubleshoot the problem from the useless manual that came with it with no luck at all. The blue-red-blue-red blinking is not addressed in the manual.

I have also tried to find technical help on-line. The Anycom help site is not supported by any employees. It's very nice that they have customer helping customer help, but where are the people who sell this product. The site is not even monitored by Anycom people.

I also tried to e-mail Anycom and have never gotten a response.

The unit did work great until the blue-red-blue-red.... incident. It is comfortable and the sound was good. There may be a perfectly legitimate reason why I'm having this problem, but I'm giving the product one star because I can't get any technical help to figure out if it is something wrong that can be...
...

oh-marco says "I can finally hear the other caller!" about Plantronics - Voyager 510

I searched and searched for a Bluetooth headset that had louder volume output. Bought into the hype of the Jawbone, but ditched it after a week. Tried a Motorola, no dice. Went through a Jabra in-ear and a different Plantronics model, and still could not adequately hear the caller on the other end.

As a daily commuter on the Bay Area freeways, I need to have a loud, reliable Bluetooth headset to make calls while in the car. I read reviews of the Plantronics Voyager 510 and was again skeptical of the claims that it was the loudest headset on the market, like all the others. I was able to get one on the cheap, so I figured I'd give one more headset a try.

WOW. For the first time ever, I do not need to crank the volume up to max on the headset! I can hear over the freeway noise. The mic filters out the noise as well, so the caller on the other end isn't bombarded by the freeway either.

The only downside is that the headset is big and ugly. It fully wraps around the ear, and it boasts a...
...

ChrisM85 says "A decent wireless headset for PC gamers." about Logitech - ClearChat Wireless PC Headset

I purchased a Logitech ClearChat Wireless PC Headset in hopes of being able to have a wireless solution for online communication software such as Skype and Ventrilo. This headset is nice in the fact that it has a rechargable battery (charing cord included) and that it has an adjustable microphone so I can walk around the room while placing calls and talking on Skype.

The drawback to this headset is that the battery life is not as great as it should be, and you really have no warning on when the battery is going to die completely. You'll be in the middle of a call and suddenly the headset beeps at you for a fraction of a second, then shuts off completely. You can, however, use the headset while it is charging, but that defeats the purpose of a wireless headset.

The sounds quality is generally good when everything is running smoothly, however it seems to be rather vulnerable to interference from coordless phones and other wireless equipment. Even with the USB transmitter sitting...
...

sunshineinmysoul says "The Logitech Premium USB headset is a good buy." about Logitech - Premium Headset

I have had a Logitech Premium USB 350 headset for a few months now. I use it almost daily for gaming or voice recording. I feel that the overall quality is great for the price range the product is in. I believe I paid about $35.

Positioning the ear muffs properly is important. After an hour or so they can begin to hurt, unless you have them adjusted just right. There is plenty of adjustment room for those with larger heads. The microphone slides easily to where you want it, and stays in place.

The only recording problem I have is the tendency to "knock." As I record voice occasionally my head and jaw shift. This makes a klunky noise that is very annoying and must be edited out. For gaming, though, this is virtually unnoticable.

Sound playback is commendable. In games I notice much more with this headset than computer speakers. There is a mute & volume control device on the USB line, but I tend to use the controls in the computer, out of habit.

Durability of the headset seems to...
...

nemos1271 says "Amazing quality!" about Aliph Jawbone 2 Wireless Headset

WOW! I just purchased the Jawbone 2 Bluetooth headset to go with my new Blackberry Bold phone and I can't say enough good things about it.

First things first, it looks very unique. The "weave pattern" is a real departure from anything else out there that I've come across... very stylish. It has two "buttons" but because of the way this is designed, you can't even see them. One button (located on the face of the headset) is to power the headset up, turn it off, take calls, etc. The other "button" (located at the rear of the headset by the earpiece) is the volume and to either activate or de-activate the "NOISEASSASIN" technology... more on that in a little bit.

But let's be honest, looks may be somewhat important but how's the sound quality? In a word... FANTASTIC! This headset does everything that it's promised to do.

Talking to people through the Jawbone 2 headset is like talking to them face to face (at least that's what I've been told by people on the other end of my phone calls)....
...

I received this headset from my son last Mother's Day and it has been reliable, easy to use and a great help, particularly when I am on the road. I had absolutely no trouble synching it up with my cell phone and it has worked very reliably every single time I use it. It is lightweight, fits my ear very well and seems to have a great battery life. I use it regularly and it seems to hold a charge for quite a long time. I like the small size--if i want to take it off and drop it in a jacket or slacks pocket, it is so small it is undetectable. I wondered how well it would work, being so small and away from my mouth but it has never caused a problem. With the small size, I also find my hair covers it and it isn't so obvious--I don't look like the old time telephone operator! The buttons are a little small, fine for me but I don't know if a man with large fingers would have difficulty working some of the features.
...

PJKitty says "Functional and comfortable, but a bit Static-y" about Motorola - H700 Wireless Headset

First of all, never buy this item from a cell phone retailer. My husband and I each bought one from Tmobile, and then when I got home, I looked up online and found them $20 cheaper many places. You can get them for around $40. So, I'd say mid-range price-wise. At Tmobile, this was the 2nd most expensive one they had. It is small and handy, and there is no earpiece inside your ear whatsoever, which is REALLY nice. It hooks over the ear pretty comfortably, and you can use it on either ear. I do notice that it's much quieter than talking on the normal phone, even when I turn the volume up with the button while talking it doesn't really make much of a difference. I notice static often coming and going. One conversation may be fine while the next you are struggling to make out words. The Mic folds in when not in use, which I think is nice, so I don't worry about it breaking. The charge lasts for a long time. I'm not on the phone 24-7; I'd say I use it about an hour...
...

Just purchased this headset a couple of weeks ago to pair with my Sanyo Eclipse. It works great! I am really weird about my ears and it does not hurt or annoy them in the least bit. I've worn this for atleast 4 hour intervals on long road trips and have had no problems. It lasts on a charge for atleast 8 hours as suggested and has not cut out on me yet. The sound quality is excellant. I can even walk from room to room in my house and be far away from my phone and the sound is still good, not perfect, but legit enough to not have to have the phone attached to your hip at all times.
It's sleak in appearance and really makes at statement. It is a very attractive and comfortable headset.

On another note, my husband also has this headset and pairs it with a motorola razr and his work blackberry and it works great with both! You really just can't beat this headset. It is top of the line for the price!
...

ToddK says "Good, but can't wait for the future" about Motorola S9 Bluetooth Headset

I have been putting off buying a bluetooth headset for a while, but I decided to give the Motorola S9 a shot because it is a stereo headset and I have just about had it with cords. I am very picky when it comes to music headphones and even worse with cell phone headsets. With all that said, I decided to try a bluetooth headset with the intention of returning it due to poor quality. I think I was wrong...

Sound: As mentioned, I am picky about my headphones and am currently used to the quality of the Bose in ear headphones. The S9 doesn't have that quality, but it really impresses me with how well it sounded. Bass is rich and full and overall a clear sound.

Phone mic: Works well when in quiet settings. When in the car or home, the S9 works just fine, but once you are faced with traffic noise, wind, trains (I commute) I am not as happy and typically won't use my headset for those conditions. I DOES work, but the person you are talking to will have to suffer thru a noisy conversation.........

PattyTherre says "Decent sound but made random calls to my friends!" about LG - HBS200 Universal Bluetooth Headset

Warning! Looking for a super techy review of this headset? Keep looking. I am not techy and only can give you details as I know them from a typical consumer standpoint.

Quick View

The LG - HBS200 Universal Bluetooth Headset has some great features but it also has some annoyances that caused me to return it before I ran into more trouble with it. It does have good sound, pairs easily, has a decent battery life, and the mic is passable. However, it's uncomfortable on the ears and makes random calls when listening to music. Also, it is flimsy and I have read dozens of reviews about how the set breaks at a certain spot. I can easily see how that could happen even with careful handling.

About the LG - HBS200 Universal Bluetooth Headset

You can get all the really technical specs from sites that sell this headset. I will tell you what I know and what I found important to me.

This headset is a behind the head type. I needed one that would go over the ears instead of in them as I wear hearing aids at......

I purchased this the day after Thanksgiving it is now Monday and it is going back as soon as I finish this review.

I have always gone with Motorola, I am usually very happy with everything I buy made by them. Not this time. It doesn't fit well around the ear. It doesn't charge correctly and the transmition of my voice is spotty at best (and it's not the cell phone.)

I would have thought maybe it was just mine but my dad also bought one the same time I did and he is having the same problems with his.

Do not buy this, you will be taking it back!
...

narayanambbs says "a bluetooth headset with a good quality" about Nokia BH-800 Wireless Headset

Nokia has done a good job in the past year of releasing a slew of attractive yet functional Bluetooth headsets to accompany its cell phone line. We especially liked the Nokia BH-800, which earned a spot in our list of top ten Bluetooth headsets. This year, Nokia has released its successor, the Nokia BH-801. It's just as small and compact, with a few design refinements when compared to its predecessor. The Nokia BH-801 is also quite affordable at $99.99, and you can get it at most Cingular/AT&T stores. To find more accessories like this, plus tips on how to use them, please check out our cell phone accessories help page.
Decked out in a soft silver finish with chrome accents, the Nokia BH-801 is definitely an attractive headset. Just a tad larger than the Nokia BH-800, the Nokia BH-801 is 1.89 inches long by 0.79 inch wide by 0.39 inch deep, and weighs around 0.38 ounce. It has a simple yet stylish rectangular design with curved corners and a nice soft-touch surface on the back. The BH-801's...
...
