jaseyyy says "I am just so bored with this Sidekick 3. I need something new" about Sidekick 3 - Sidekick 3 Cell Phone

At first, I was incredibly excited to buy the Sidekick 3, because I thought it was so cool and my friends would be envious of it. Now, I can't wait to sell it to someone so I can just get a different phone. I have a prepaid account, so I can't use ANY of the cool features I bought the Sidekick for - I can't go on the internet, or download ringtones, or send or recieve emails or anything. All I can do is call people and text people. I can use any old cell phone for that, I don't need this expensive Sidekick for that. The swivel screen is really cool, and I love the full qwerty keyboard, but the buttons are really small and kind of hard to use. It is so easy to scratch, and so easy to break the screen right off if you open it too hard or fast. It's also really annoying if you have a prepaid account, because like every ten minutes the phone goes off with whatever tone you chose just to tell you you don't have internet access. Thanks a lot, I already know. Anyone want a lightly used Sidekick...
...

stacieluxe says "I have a love/hate relationship with my Blackberry Storm" about Blackberry - Storm Cell Phone

This was my first Blackberry, and I can say that I will never be able to have a "regular" phone again. I'm crackberry addicted, especially to BB Msger and the large array of applications that I have downloaded onto my phone. I feel though that my battery does not last long and I dislike having to reboot my phone because it seems to "lock up" every few days. I am interested in possibly switching over to the Blackberry Tour when it comes out. The Storm has given me a love/hate relationship with my phone, and although the touch screen is convient I would hope that Verizon or Blackberry could fix the locking up problems that the phone has: especially when receiving calls, the phone will ring or vibrate but lock up, and not regain normal function until the call is missed.
...

kegtrek says "Good all-around cell phone." about Samsung - Magnet Cell Phone

I recently was looking for a new cell phone to replace my Motorola Razor and I selected the Samsung Rant. I feel this is a good all around phone for those who are looking for a user friendly cell phones that make calls and has extras such as internet connectivity and full key board. With the contract extension this was a very reasonably priced phone.

I use this phone daily incluidng incoming and outgoing calls. My texting is easier ont his phone that on the Motorola Razor. The keys are not extremely large however they are easy to use. My major concern with purchasing a full QWERTY keyboard was the ability to text with my large fingers. After a few attempts it is really easy now.

The Samsung Magnet does not have any expandable memory however I find the phone has more than enough for the amount of pictures I want or need on my phone. You do have to delete test messages if you send a bunc but overall the Samsung Magnet is a good phone.
...

I bought my LG Vu about a year ago...I was new to AT&T and really wanted a touch screen that was attractive yet affordable..so I went with this one. I read over reviews and heard that this phone had some issues with the touch screen not reading when you actually touched the phone, but I have yet to have any problems at all. I absolutely love this phone. I am one of those people who always switch and get new phones every few months..but this time I will be sticking to the Vu. I originally was going to get an Iphone but it was too expensive for me and also a little too heavy. Well, the vu is affordable and light weight. I love the fact that you are able to watch tv on this phone. When I am bored at work I turn on the TV sometimes and check out the news, lol...don't tell my boss! Also, the internet connection is amazing and the 3G network is very fast and reliable. I have not had issues with not have a signal or anything like that. I would def recommend buying the Vu...it is amazing! Good...
...

The Samsung Messenger is, at first, seemingly amazing. Upon further use, it has proven to be less than astonishing. There are problems with text messaging, mostly. For instance, yesterday I was in the middle of a very long, important text and the phone just turned off. I had to turn it back on and retype the entire text message. Another texting issue: sometimes the space button moves the cursor to the beginning of the first word and capitalizes everything. So, if one was to text the word, "Hello," and push the space bar to keep going and putting the rest of the message, it would read, " ARE YOU COMING TO MEL'S HOUSE TONIGHTHello." So, basically, if you are a fast texter, or text while driving and don't really look at the message until later or right as it's being sent, you look like a moron. Also, sometimes, if the slider has been slid up (opened?), it will say on the screen (the little Abc/ABC/abc icon) that it's not on caps lock. However, if one tries to text, it's capitalized! So,...
...

I recently purchased the LG lotus for Sprint. The phone has a very different shape, which personally I love but have recieved mixed reviews on. The full keypad makes it great for texting, however the buttons are somewhat small. I have not had much of a problem using it at all though. A fun thing that I haven't been able to do in a while with any recent cell phones is that you can purchase interchangeable faceplates. The new setup that sprint has is also very convenient. There is a carousel menu that allows you to have many of your phones function right on your main screen. This way with just a button or two now you can easily get to your calender, calculator or phone setting without going through the usual 2 or three menu functions. I have not really used the phone for any internet functions but this is also available, as well as gps navigation which if needed will come in handy. Over all I think the phone is well worth the buy.
...

when i first got this phone i thought that i would be the only person is school with it. but i found out a week later that i was horribly wrong. i mean that in a good way. i was the reason that everybody that i knew got the phone. it was the iphone to people that couldnt really afford it. it has a touch screen just like the i phone. and applications just like one also. and oh yeah it has a mp3 player too. even with all of these similar features this phone still doesnt compare to an iphone. the iphone is a better mp3 player. it holds more memory. it has way more accessable applications. even though it cost more ind i dont have one, an iphone is a better phone. the battery life is far better than that of the lg vu and its a more popular phone. in the near future i plan to purchase the iphone. even if it breaks my bank. i cant stand the vu. i had to replace it one too many times and its really not that goog of a phone.
...

spice1177 says "Want a Reliable Cell Phone?" about Nokia - 6061 Cell Phone

We know that there are tons of different cell phones out there and most of them have all the bells and whistles you could possibly dream of. But if you are looking for a reliable, every day phone than I recommend Nokia's 6061. If you want a phone with a camera this is not the phone. If you don't need a camera and all you need is a phone for texting, call waiting, voicemail, and email, alarm clock than this is the phone for you. I also recommend that carrier AT&T with their GoPhone account. If you don't use your phone very often it is better to go for the GoPhone than to go with a contract. Even if you go for a contract I was pleased with AT&T while I was with them. I didn't have any major problems with them. I ended up going with a GoPhone because I hardly use my phone and couldn't justify spending almost $50 a month for the amount I was using my phone. But If you use your phone a lot then I recommend AT&T for wireless contracts.

The Nokia-2600 is an OK phone. I would not recommend it to a young person that likes to text or have all the new features. It is very slow, you push the menu button, count to 3 and it finally comes up! The volume while talking on the phone is very low, I have to press the phone against my hear to try to hear sometimes. The picture quality is pretty good and I LOVE the size. I think it is a good phone for a young person who is only supposed to use the phone on occasion or an older person that doesn't do anything but make calls.
...

I recently purchased the Blackberry Curve 8330 in pink. I mainly wanted it to text and stay connected with my email and facebook, but this thing does so much more. I am able to IM through Blackberry Messenger, which is wonderful to stay connected to friends, family and co-workers without having the little lag time in email. I have 3 email accounts set up through this as well as outlook Calendar that syncs with my office calendar and home calendar. I am always staying connected. I have also put in all of my contact mailing addresses. When I go to the post office I don't have to scroll through emails looking for addresses.

I love love love love love my iphone. I have been waiting to buy one since they came out but could not really afford it. Now that AT&T has dropped the price to $99 it is a must have. You do have to pay for the data plan which is $30 per month but you could get away with the lowest rate plan if you have a lot of friends and family on at&t. We have 700 minute share plan with two lines and unlimited texting and one line on the data plan and our average bill is around $130 (including tax). There is so much you can do with the iphone it is like having a miniature computer with you at all times. It is hard to dial when driving (which you should not do anyway) and the touch screen does take a little getting use to but it is easily adaptable. Apple just came out with a software upgrade that I find to be an added bonus to the functionality of the phone. The Ipod feature is great as well. The only thing that is not as good as other phones I have had is the camera.

My fiance and I each got a Blackberry Storm as soon as they came out. The quality of the product is excellent, albeit there is definitely a learning curve. I love having a QWERTY keyboard for texting - I hated texting before on a regular cell phone keypad and now it is the most common way I communicate with my 30-yr old daughter who resides another state. I appreciate having my Outlook contacts and calendar synchronized so that my information is always at hand. I can read the new at CNN.com while I'm waiting in a doctor's office or take my grocery list (and recipes!) with me. With 8gb of memory, I can have lots of MP3's and pictures - the MP3 player is wonderful. I used to carry a PDA, a cell phone, and an MP3 player - now one device does it all and marvelously. The only downside is that it is NOT a good choice for women with long nails. You actually have to use your fingertips, not your nailtips, to type. I actually gave up my nail-salon habit because it made it so difficult to...
...

The LG Banter is a great phone for texting. It has a keyboard that slides out from the phone that is perfect for texting. The only problem with using that keyboard is I am not sure how to do punctuation so if anyone has the phone and knows how I would appreciate feedback.
The phone comes in a few different colors. The colors that I know of are a bright blue, purple, silver, and orange.
The phone allows a person to change settings, add contacts, take pictures (It has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, if the person is moving in the picture they are a little blurry, but other than that they turn out well and a person can send them to their e-mail or share them at axcessmypics.com), has a axcess shop to get to your favorite apps, and has a web browser. It also can have bluetooth and a person can get a kit to add music to the phone and use as a mp3.
Definitely a great phone and I would recommend it to anyone....

KDkidsRN says "How did I live without my Blackberry Curve before now!" about Blackberry - Curve 8330 Cell Phone

Just got this Blackberry Curve 8330 phone yesterday and already love it! Extremely easy to use and set up - activated it online for free -- and I've barely put it down since. Email compatible (you can set it up for a large number of email accounts to check) and lets you know when you have a new message. Full QWERTY keyboard is easy to use with good sized buttons. Backlights light up when the keyboard or trackball is used and even has a pink light behind the trackball (for those with the pink model). I've been able to download multiple free applications and there were lots more to choose from for a nominal fee of course! 2.0 megapixel camera with flash and zoom takes pretty good pictures. It also has internal memory so you don't really need to add a memory card but you can if you want too. Good battery life so far and great reception. Lots of preloaded ringtones and easy to download more.
...

jabbor12 says "If you are not a music person dont buy this phone" about LG - VX8550 Blue Mint Chocolate Cell Phone

I had the Lg chocolate maroon color for a little over a year and let me tell you it was not what I expected. The first month I had it well it was new and I was getting use to it but after that it was not what I needed it for. The phone was acting up and it was not good for test messaging. If you are into the music downloads and using it as an mp3 or so then it's good. Sometimes when I was on the phone the person on the other end could not hear me. It was frustrating. The front part of the phone starting peeling in the center where it has the navigation keys. overall I could said that I was somewaht dissatisfied with the phone It looked great at first but I would not recommended it to anyone.
...
