If you are i nto technology this one isn't really the one for you. Its an okay phone at first and is okay looking, but the "mirror" ( wish is like most phones, not really a mirror, just slightly more reflective when the back light isnt on) scratches extremely easily and then because of the slightly more reflective screen, makes it extremely hard to read text messages in the daylight. Also, mine, and a friend of mine had problems with the battery. My friends was charging, maybe an hour, then she woke up to a burning smelling. her phone was extremely hot and then just completely stopped working after that. and mine isnt even a year old, and the battery lasts under 24 hours when it use to last me about 2 days. One other fault, in my opinion, with the phone is the keys. like some other phones, the keys are kind of connected so its not very easy to text, especially if you have bigger fingers or no finger nails.
...

The Apple Iphone has been a life-saver for me many times! With all the apps available in the app store, there really is something for everything. The commercial is so true when it says "there's an app for that". I love the touchscreen, although, there have been times when I have touch my screen only to be let down when nothing happened. I have to reset the phone when that happened. The 3G coverage isn't great but I do have it in my area. When I don't have 3G I always at least have Edge so I can always surf the internet. The text messaging on the Iphone appears as a conversation so you never have to wonder who said what last. The camera is great outdoors. If your not outdoors you need to be in good lighting to get a good quality picture because there is no flash. I also wish there were zoom available when taking a picture. The Iphone is easy to use. You also can take your music with you wherever you go which is always great for those boring days. Overall, I would recommend the iphone to...
...

lislewis says "Slide out keyboard with no backlight - how do type on that???" about Nokia - Surge Cell Phone

This was the worst idea I ever had! I bought a Nokia Surge from a website instead of going with the cell phones that AT & T offers in their stores. I just do not like the selection at my local store. I want a Qwerty keyboard, but I do not need the internet package for the additional $40 that you have to get with Blackberrys. So, this Surge was perfect! But the keyboard literally isn't backlit!!! You cannot be expected to memorize which keys the numbers are on the first day you own the phone, can you???

I sent it back and here I sit with a phone that the LCD screen is flashing on and off... I cannot force myself to break down and buy a Blackberry and fall into that $40 per month trap when all I want is the freedom of a keyboard. Maybe I'll ride out my contract and go to a carrier with better phones.
...

My HTC ATT TILT cell phone is one of the best investments I have ever made. Its a cell phone and a little laptop. I use it for pretty much everything, I use it to tell time, I use it as an alarm to wake me up in the morning, I use it to remind me of certain events and special dates, I use it as a calculator, I have a GPS system in it so I use it to help me to get places that I am not familiar with. I check my emails on there, I check my messages, my picture comments, my friend request, and I also update my status, all in face book from my phone, I make google searches, I check my online banking on it. I sometimes use it to chat with in instant messenger, it takes pictures, I can make videos. I can send and recieve pictures via text, and also can send and recieve videos. I have a memory card in it so it can hold alot of memories. I listen to music on it like and MP3 player. If you invest in one, you will not regret it.
...

The features that had originally drawn me to this phone were the size of the screen, and the duel slide feature. Due to the fact that the phone is dual sliding, the numeric key pad is under the screen, which leaves a larger space for the screen. This is a nice feature if you use your phone for a lot of web browsing, especially YouTube and other videos. The other benefit, for me, of the dual slide was that it allowed me to continue to use continue to type T9. With this phone, I was not forced to use the qwerty keyboard, and not restricted to only the words my T9 can spell, as you have the ability to switch back and forth. This makes texting faster. The Sprint carousel put all my social networking sites right at my fingertips. Again, the size of the screen was a benefit, as it made the Sprint TV videos more enjoyable to watch.

This phone does take a beating. It does not easily dent or scratch when dropped on hard surfaces. The back and battery will fly out, but pop them...
...

I was very excited to buy the Samsung Jack by att&t when it came out. I had used the Black Jack II and I loved it. I do have to admit I have been a little disappointed with the newest Jack though. When I had read other reviews they said so many great things about the phone, which some are true, but some are not. I have never been able to get my free wi-fi to work. They promote the phone has wi-fi without the internet package, yes, it does have the feature but the feature does not work. My battery life isn't very well on my phone either, and it hasn't been since I got it. I do like the phone, but I would have been just as happy saving my money and keeping my Black Jack II. My only suggestion would be don't put a hard case on the phone, because a hard case scratches the phone worse than if you didn't have a case on at all. The phone shows fingerprints a lot and sometimes feels slippery like it's going to fall out of my hand. The Samsung Jack is a good phone, it just isn't...
...

I have always heard of some people who have $50,000/year jobs speak of their Blackberrys in conversation, stating that it has been a great help at work, at home and etc. When I ordered for a different phone and service and received the 2700 and, instead of AT&T as the provider, I gained Sprint as my new service provider. I was a little disappointed at first. Once I went into the contents of the phone, I was happy. You can access your emails, send an email, text friends using the qwerty keyboard. Even the keyboard is impressive. There is a button that you can use for symbols, periods, ampersands, etc. Some features I have not used yet are: Navigation, chat& dating and sending my albums(photos) to prints, pictobridge and etc. This is a phone to have, for anyone who are not making $50,000 a year. The downsides (really minor, if you think about it) the battery charged up is good for 4 or 5 days before you have to recharge it, but if you are on the phone for as much as 3 hours or more, its...
...

What I love about the Palm Treo is finally having internet access, a full keyboard, and a touch screen on my mobile device. Coming from the Motorolla Razor, it is a huge upgrade in those technology functions. The connection to the internet is relatively quick, but it doesn't do well when downloading large sites, and cannot format them correctly in a mobile screen setting. They need to make improvements, (if they haven't already), in developing a better interface for viewing the web and integrating functionality on a mobile device.

For example, trying to go to my web based email provider is a nightmare, because I have to download several screens which can take 5 - 10 minutes to actually get to the email bin, and the screen just looks like a jumbled overlap of words.

The keyboard is fantastic, really well done to make typing easy. I wish it could be a little better lit for functioning in dark rooms. The touch screen is good, however, with the recent phones like droid, smartfone, and the ever...
...

Since then , every phone has slowly but surely improved in extremely immense manners! I have seen manny of cell phones in my day. The new product that has emerged from apple is truly unbelievable! This simple device is small enough to fit inside of any persons pockets, purse , hand bag, book bag whatever, and can do everything that a central computer can do!

This is an excellent phone although the front screen has been broken for about 4 months but it took quite a beating before that happened without any damage. I still use it with the broken front stripe because it is that good of a phone. It has enough features for a tech savvy person but they are simple enough for a beginner. Although I don't use half the services on the phone, that has more to do with there being subscription charges by carriers.

Tmobile is great though and I got the phone for free. I always get the free phone and this is the first one I've gotten that i like enough to not trade up next time I renew.

I will be requesting the same phone when i renew. There is no need to have a computer on an i-phone or G-3 type phone so i tend to stick with the simple things. I do need picture and text messaging capabilities though and this is perfect and lets me send everything directly to my email.
...

This is for the Samsung Omnia phone on the Verizon network. To be honest up front, I love Verizon. I've been with them for years and I have never considered switching providers. But, Verizon does not offer an the iPhone. So it was time to get a new phone so I checked out what Verizon offered. My main concerns were: I need a phone that actually worked well as a phone, I need mobile web browsing, I preferred to have a camera and I really wanted a phone with built-in WiFi. There were only two phones that Verizon offered at the time that met my criteria, and the Omnia was the only one that was less than $300. I did get a deal for signing a new contract on top of that price. The Omnia is a nice touchscreen phone. It's actually a Windows phone, running the Windows Mobile OS. Having Microsoft Office integrated into the phone was a real bonus, it's also very nice for syncing your contacts and e-mail with your Outlook account on your desktop or laptop. The camera is pretty high quality and the video...
...

The Tilt 2 is one of the new generation of Windows Mobile 6.5 SmartPhones. I had trouble with the soft keys on the Pure, and the wider screen on the Tilt 2 resolved that. Plus, having the hard keys available makes this a great device if you are looking for an "office on the go". It includes the Office Mobile apps, and is the first phone that made OneNote mobile a killer app for me.

The camera is high quality as well. The Pure had a 5Mp camera, and the Tilt 2 has only a 3.2Mp. But the pictures seem to come out as nicely as the Pure. I thought that there would be a way to post a picture directly to Facebook or Spaces, etc. As of yet, I have not figured out if that is possible.

The reason that they call this the Tilt is that the slide-out keyboard tilts to face you. It makes the unit feel like a tiny netbook in your hands. This makes it a pretty comfortable experience if you do a lot of email on your phone. I honestly wouldn't say that this is the number one feature...
...

The T-Mobile Wing is the first touch screen phone i have ever had. It took some getting use to at first but I have had it for roughly two years now. Let's talk about the shell that it is in. That shell is almost like a rubber basketball. If I happen to drop it, the almost bounces right back into it's case holder. Instead of having a MP3 player the phone comes with windows media player so, Yep you guessed it, the T-Mobile Wing has the windows xp application. Now the only down side to the wing is that the memory is short. You must purchase another memory card to hold all of the good stuff. It is good to power off the phone everyday to keep everything running smoothly. As far as dropping calls which is probably more about the network than it is the phone however, I can talk for at least two hours before it needs to be charged. Now of course that is two hours straight. Oh and I forgot to mention the oh so stylish stylus. It's perfect for the club or business when getting contact information....
...

Though the Instinct and the iPhone look about the same, and they rely heavily on touch screens with unique interfaces, there are some important feature distinctions. The Instinct offers its own brand of visual voice mail and it bests the first incarnation of the iPhone by offering 3G (EV-DO Rev. A) network compatibility, integrated GPS, and work e-mail support, just to name a few. The new Iphone 3G will be more evenly matched, but even the Instinct gets points for its multimedia messaging, voice dialing and video recording. In the important areas of usability and performance, however, the Instinct struggled on a few fronts. The Web browser wasn't quite as easy to use as we had hoped, the camera lacked editing features, and the Instinct's call and video quality were variable. However, even with those caveats, the Instinct remains a powerful, innovative cell phone with a loaded feature set and an appealing design. The Instinct is $129 with a mail-in rebate and a two-year "Simply Everything"...
...

I currently own the Lg Xenon from At&t. The color is blue. This phone is pretty satisfying to me :). It has lots of different features and it is a very neat phone. This phone is a touchscreen. The screen is extremely sensitive so I recommend that you be VERY careful with it. My friend had bought one a few weeks ago and he ended up accidently sitting on it, well the screen cracked (on the inside). So, if you are very clumsy, do not buy this phone! :). Other than that, the another wrong thing about this phone, is that if you try to keep sending and receiving text messages very fast, the screen will freeze and you have to press the menu button to stop it from freezing. I have had this only happen to me a few times, so its not really a huge deal to me. The very last bad thing I dislike about the phone is that when you flip up the side QWERTY keyboard, the background display picture doesn't rotate with the way you have your phone. Weather its straight up and down or sideways, the wallpaper doesn't...
...

I wanted it to start with mainly because it has a full keyboard and makes it easier to text. I have an 18 year old daughter and now that I have my Blackberry we talk even more by texting back and forth. We just moved to a new house with a community pool and then I discovered the music program Pandora. Pandora is wonderful!!! I bought speakers to attach to my phone and then I have my own choice of music at the pool. I love that you can choose what types of music you listen to and then it gives you different songs similar to that kind of music. I have discovered music I never would have listened to before. The camera is also awesome and takes very clear pictures. I bought the extra memory card so I can take lots of pictures. I take more with my phone because it is handy and you know sometimes you don't take a picture because you don't have your camera, but now it...
...

I have had this phone and one similar to it for about 8 or more years. In the past I have had other phones and as far as the durablity this one is much better, also easy to handle is perfect. It had not been a problem for me to keep up with, very easy to slide in my pocket or in my cell phone holder in my purse. I am a true fan of this phone because the battery has held ulp well as well as the wear and tear on my phone. If this phone would go off the market I would difintely look for another one pretty close to it's charater.
...

m123c says "Great for Music " about Nokia - 5310 Xpress Music Cell Phone

I purchased this phone one year ago and it has a long battery life and love the music player quality. My husband also has the same phone in silver and we both have had to have them replaced once now. Something with the software messed up and T-Mobile replaced them with another refurbished handset since we have an insurance plan. The phone is great in size, has very good music quality and the camera makes decent quality pictures. The screen has a tendancy to scratch since it is exposed at all times unless you have it in a case. I am a basic phone user and do not text or email from the phone but it does have these options.
...

renee707 says "Best Phone I Have Ever Had" about HTC - Hero Cell Phone

This phone is by far the best phone I have ever had! It is literally like having a little computer in the palms of your hands. The android market is remarkable in which you can download multiple free applications many of which are very fun and others are very usueful. The camera is incredible with the 5.0 megapixels which makes it an ease to take great pictures and short videos. When using the internet browser, you can open multiple screens just like you would on say windows vista. You can easily sync your phone to your computer and upload your music to your phone. It's like have a cell phone, mp3 player and computer all in one. Although I just purchased the phone about two weeks ago, I love it and there is so much more I'm learning everyday. I was reluctant on getting another HTC phone cause my previous phonw (HTC Touch) was not the best, but Sprint kept anotherr customer by adopting this model and I very satisfied!!
...
