If you're into Sociology at USM, Dr. Miller is the teacher to take. She's fun, funny, and interesting. You won't get bored in her classes, and she will teach you more than you thought you could learn in one class. Not to mention, she is always willing to help outside of class. ...

liubob says "The best teacher I have ever known" about Marshall Sorgen - Kingsborough Community College

I knew nothing at all about pc's. Mr. sorgen taught all of us to be the very best we could be. He has a terrific sense of humor and always keeps the class hopping. I just wish he would teach other courses. I would go to all of them. — He makes sure that each and every one of us knows what he or she is doing. He takes care of those who have a language hangup and those not so fast on the pickup. For those of us who have caught on, he gives us special assignments while he takes care of those who need his help. He is absolutely fantastic!!! —...

Mrs. Snell is not a good teacher at all, she is not helpful and will not answer questions in class. Many in the class are scared to ask any questions because she will make you feel very stupid. If you have taken her one of her other classes in the past then she will work with you, if you are new to her she will not even talk to you. The only time she will talk to students is to put you down, it has been the worst class I have ever taken and I do understand how she still has a job. When given a take home test, the average score for our class was a 74, it is a take home test and nobody pasted, Why?????????? If you have to take her class read the book, it is better information and get...

dancingsandy says "Great Teacher" about Ernesto Quintero - J. Sargeant Reynolds/VCU

This man is a great professor, and he is patient and understanding and kind. He gave me a great background in Spanish in the most important class that one needs in studying a languge, the first. He goes above and beyond in offering help to students. He is willing to go the extra mile to offer help even when it is inconvient for him. The best thing about him is that he really wants students to learn the language, that is quite clear. He is definitely no pushover. You've got to put yourself out to get it, but he gives you a good push if he knows you're...

LibbyMcMillan says "A charming teacher of beginning and advanced Italian " about Professor Adolfo Cipriani - Cypress Lake High School campus

Lee County, Florida has several adult education classes. After messing about with language tapes, and an erstwhile instructor, I stumbled upon Professor Cipriani in the county's Adult Ed nighttime classes. — I suppose I shouldn't actually say in print that I have a little crush on him, but his wife of 60 years probably wouldn't care. At the tender age of 89, Cipriani is energetic, funny, entertaining, and filled with a zest for teaching, a profession he he has enjoying his entire life, beginning in Italy. His classes are a blast. — Cipriani deftly mixes real-life tales with workbook exercises to make his class come alive. He has several little catch-phrases which have successfully stuck in my head. And after only two semesters with him (beginning and then advanced), I was able to hold a two-hour conversation with a non-English-speaking Italian retail clerk. — I can't say enough great things about Adolfo Cipriani, who teaches at the Cypress lake High...
