I have been using Dell computers desktops and laptops now for a very long time now. — I have purchased a Dell 2400 dimension desktop, a Dell 4600 dimension desktop , and a — Dell inspiron B130, and my recent purchase has been a Dell XPS 420 . of course they all — have had extras added on . All but One are stilling running like new. The one that we had — quit on us is the Dell 4600 dimension desktop which got hit by lighting and fried the mother — board. Dell stands behind there product. and also has very good customer support 24/7 — they also follow up with you. I have never as of today :) had a bad experiance with Dell. — I love my Dells... —...

At the current moment, I use two Dell machines. A two-three year old Dell Dimension E310 for personal and home use and a newer laptop, the Vostro 1500 that I run my photography business out of. Both machines are some of the best computers I've used in my long history with Apple and PC computers. And I've used everything between them as well, and in terms of a well performing machine for the price, I'm most impressed with Dell. — — At the time of my purchase of the older of the two I currently own, my faithfull HP of almost seven years had died on me and was in the market for a computer at the time for school. (Which seems everyones story when it comes to computers, I've worked with them way too long) However, Dell was recommended to me by a member of my family, and at the time, Dell was running a promotion for a free LCD display with their desktops (At the time I was still using a dinosaur monitor as well) and designed my dear and faithfull...

I purchased a nice desktop from Hp a little over 2 years ago and i just love my computer. It came with so many features i have yet to explore everything on my pc. Very easy to use for my little ones also. Their customer service is amazing and easy to chat with. The price that i had paid was not bad at all, i believe i had paid about 400 less then i would have paid for a different brand with almost the same features. It truly is worth the money, i have a dual dvd/cd drive burner, lightscribe, subwoofer speaker, vista/ xp, etc. This pc was and is truly worth every...

When I first got this Compaq Presario.. which i did not realize was just a HP computer with a different name, it was a great package. Great processor, Got a wide screen 19". I don't know all the specs anymore. Most people would say my computer is out dated because i got it over a year ago, but it was the first computer to come out with Windows Vista.. which I thought was great.. I have the latest program.. PAIN. Vista word processing programs have trouble interfacing with WIndows XP.. So if you have to take your word docs to get printed anywhere that does not work with Vista, They can't print it. It comes out as a corrupted file. *sighs* That, and all of HP customer support is in INDIA or somewhere other than the states. I Can't understand a thing the techs say, and they can barely understand me.. Where is the customer service in THAT? Bring the jobs back to the U.S. U.S users should have U.S Support.. Indian users should have India...

The Dell computer has always been good to me. The computer is very dependable and does its magic so fast. The periferals that can be used with it is in a wide range of compatable technologies. I have had my Inspiron 8200 for over five years now and have never had a problem with it at all. The computer support is excelent also... if I have ever had a question large or small... they took extra time for me to make sure that all was well with me. — ...

I have to admit that at first glance it seemed like a great deal. Order the computer with a free printer, get a rebate, and pay monthly. Yeah right! One month after I received my Dell I started having problems. The computer came with old software for my graphics card, so I went online to the manufacturer and got the update for it. The computer would not let me install the update -- I repeatedly received the message that any updates had to come directly from Dell. It took them months to get the new update and then, it still wouldn't work with the software I wanted to run. When I contacted their Customer Service by phone, it was so difficult to understand the heavy accent, that I decided to use the online service. HA! They gave me the same run around 'you may only use updates provided by Dell'. — The keyboard had to be replaced, the mouse is hinkey, and the 'free' printer could only be refilled with cartridges from Dell...

I bought my HP computer over the phone since I had questions that I wanted to clear up before I purchased one online. I was able to customize it myself and choose all the things I wanted and got all the fastest and biggest memory and RAM. I chose the small screen however because I think the bigger ones are just a waste of space. After everything it only cost me a tad over $500. It was shipped within the week and I love it! It is very cute and sleek and works great! Better than any I've ever used. I really recommend it!! I am still getting used to the Vista software though but luckily already have others that I've purchased to install if I would like. I like Vista but like I said it takes some getting used to since it is...
