I have used 3-4 Sandisk memory cards. I have always liked them. They were always with adapter. But this time when I ordered it online, the particular website had mentioned that it came with an adpater, so I ordered this specific product as it was pretty inexpensive. But when I received, got to know that adapter was not included with it...so I was a bit disappointed with this product as I had only ordered this product for the included adapter.
...

Bottom-Line: I couldn't ask for a better product then the Kingston MicroSD (Secure Digital) Memory Card.

It is absolutely insane how much memory can be packed into small black packages these days. Micro is in, mini, for now, is out, and we, the consumer are all the better for it.

When I purchased my Motorola Moto Q 9h Smartphone it didn't come with a memory card, but there was a slot for one; namely a MicroSD memory card, denomination of your choice. I chose 2GB in the form of a Kingston MicroSD (Secure Digital) Memory Card to fill it.

The Kingston 2GB MicroSD Card offers large data storage in an extremely small package. The Kingston 2GB MicroSD Card ships with an easy to use adapter you can use to convert it to a full-sized SD card.

My Viewpoint

I love this little MicroSD Card! Light, almost too light the Kingston 2GB MicroSD Card fits easily into my breast pocket, or one of the numerous side and or interior pockets in my laptop case, when it not in my Moto Q 9h of course. ...
...

Bottom-Line: At a retail price of approximately $50.00 the NexStar 3 is a little more expensive than some others on the market, but I believe it's worth it.

I recently upgraded my standard satellite receiver to a Dish Network ViP722 HD-DVR that offers up to 55 hours of recorded HD programming. Not enough. Good thing the Dish Network ViP722 HD-DVR has a high-speed USB port and allows for the connection of an external hard drive.

Lucky for me I had an external Seagate Barracuda ES 750GB hard drive lying in wait for just such an occasion; all I needed was an external hard drive enclosure to put it in. After some research I concluded that the Vantec NexStar 3 SATA/eSATA 3.5" Hard Drive Enclosure was the one for me.

The NexStar 3 external 3.5 inch hard drive enclosure features a (1) USB 2.0 & (2) Firewire hook-ups that can be mated with SATA I/II or eSATA hard drives.

The Enclosure

The NexStar 3 case is composed of two parts, one of which, a tray that holds the hard drive, slides...
...

I've owned this flash drive for a year now. I have most of the big names in flash drives, Sandisk, lexar, Kingston, Sony. I really haven't had any problems with any of them. Whatever is on sale, I will buy. I use this particular drive to hold my music that I listen to on my car stereo. With over 500 songs currently on the drive, I still have around 3/4 of unused space. I like the retractable plug in and the Sandisk name. I did have to erase the U3 software as it is incompatable with my car stereo, just go to their site to get removal instructions....

For years I stored all my scrapbooking materials in 4 big bulky storage boxes. This was mostly so I could shove them under my bed since I still lived with my parents and didn't have a spare room to leave it in. Ever since I got married I've been thinking of buying something new to organize my craft supplies, and it was just last weekend that I happened across the Sterilite 7-Drawer Craft Cart at Target. I've bought other Sterilite organizers before and knew they were good quality, so I was excited to buy this one even with the $30 price tag.

It Rolls
It's called a cart because it rolls! That means once you fill it up with all your crafts, you can easily roll it around to the room you feel like working in. It is difficult to roll on thick carpet, but on flat carpet or hardwood floors it is a breeze.

It has 7-Drawers
The 7 drawers are all 12" x 12" which any scrapbooker knows is great because most scrapbooks are 12" x 12". It is rare to find an organizing bin that fits this size...
...

muhumaa says "terrific!" about Mozy

Mozy does off-site backup. Once you download the program, you can set it up to automatically backup your files, and just forget about it and let it go. I already love it, it's so simple. I don't have to do anything - just see the little box every time it backups - which I have set up to do every 24 hours, but you can set up for whenever. Today, I just found out that I had messed up one of my main documents which I use daily - saving a very shortened version of it. I thought of Mozy, and went to the restore files part, clicked on a date a few days ago, chose that document and approximately 4 seconds later - voila! the document back the way I like it....

I bought this hard drive enclosure because I was trying to save some data on a master hard drive that would no longer boot up due to Windows wonderful automatic update process...this was a rather expensive unit considering the online options from places like Egghead.com but I bit the bullet and plunked down about $60 for this one from a local big box store with the initials BB...you figure it out.

Anyway, the unit itself is a very nice design, brushed red aluminum finish with small rubber "feet" on the bottom, a blue LED indicator light on front and your basic USB, power, on-off switch on the back. It comes with a small stand to set the unit on it's side and overall, it's a nice looking desktop piece. It comes with a needed allen wrench to remove the four screws form the unit and also includes a black cleaning cloth to keep the shiny surface shiny...nice touch! It comes with a CD loaded with a One Touch Backup utility but I didn't load it as I didn't really need it at this time. So far,...
...

I got a Pack of 25 for $15.00 as I have had a Great

result with their Cd's so I knew the Dvd's would be wlll worth the investment as you can

kind of Worry about Paying less for something like a Dvd, but not with the Staples

Brand which is in the New York Area and in the Northeast to. You just get Quality type

Video, Photo and Sound Storage Reproduction when You Play back the Contents of

the Dvd. I have purchased all the Big Brands and I get the same results while Spending

a little more Money on these Top Brands which I like to. If I can Save some Money

here and their and get the same results, I will definitly Buy the No Frills Brand as they

say in this Case a Good Choice.
...

You go out and buy an Anti-Virus program, do you store the whole box? Once you apply for any rebates you don't need to keep the box. After a while they can take up more room than your willing to give up. The manuals fit nicely into a drawer so why not get rid of the box clutter as well?

Memorex Jewel Cases

With 4 computer users in the house storing all those software boxes would require an extra room just for them. While shopping at Sam's Club one day I saw these Colored Jewel Cases on sale in a big display for only $11.99, so I grabbed 2 cases. These are just a bit bigger than a cd/dvd and measure in at 5.2mm thick very easy to store. They come in Red, Blue, Orange Green and Purple. At $11.99 for 50 that is about 23 cents each, very cheap insurance for you cd/dvd collection. In the 50 pack that gives you 10 of each color, in 2 like I got thats 20 of each color. Which gave the four of us plenty of each color to distinguish who's cd/dvd'c belonged to whom.

Now we don't have to store all......

This flash drive is a good value for the amount of storage space provided. I picked up for under $20. The drive itself is convenient because it is small and with the retractable USB connector you don't have to worry about losing the caps like other flash drives I've owned.

The U3 software available was a nice option for keeping a calendar on hand rather than carrying my PDA, but when I recently upgraded the home computer with one that contains MS Vista, I found that it would not recognize the drive due to imcompatibility with the U3 software. The only workaround I could find in searching was to remove the U3 functionality on an XP system I have access to. Because Sandisk has yet to provide a fix for this issue, I would not recommend to most people unless you have access to other computers when it comes time to upgrade to Vista since the U3 removal tool will not work on Vista since it does not recognize the drive when the software is on it.
...

Before I tell you about the ADS External hard drive case let me tell you how I got there. One day after I turned on my computer I had the worst fear of any computer user come to life. My oem (original equipment manufacturer) hard drive burned up, yes it committed computercide. So off I went to buy a new hard drive, fortunitley the computer gods were on my side. Circuit City was having a sale..weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

As I looked over the many choices I spied a 300 gig hard drive on sale, in fact it was 1/2 off with a price tag of only $79.95. Well who in their right mind or left for that matter passes up a Western Digital 300 gig hard drive for half price! So I grabbed one and started to leave, well I was then greeted by a salesperson who asked me if I found everything okay. I told him yes I had and then he pointed out they were half price so why not buy one for backup(typical sales tactic). I told him I only had 1 open bay in my computer and thats when he showed me another sale item. You guessed......

Nice little drive that can be found on sale. With flash storage prices falling, more capacity would be a bonus for drives these days. For holiday stocking stuffers a gaggle of these little drives make a fun option, but for personal use I'd look at a drive with at least a Gig of storage....

spant says "Nifty, portable, inexpensive, and a must have" about Kingston DataTransfer 4GB Flash Drive

Kingston DataTraveler 1GB is a must have. Kingston wasn't a brand name that we were aware of, but it stands up to quality, and we want to spread the word. This little flash drive holds just what you need and you can carry it whereever you go. No need to look like a nerd carrying a huge PC tower with you just because you want to share something on your hard drive. Also, no need to spend gobs of bucks on CD's and or DVD's to burn something that you want to share. It could be a waste becasue you don't always need to keep what you burn, and you are putting a small amount of data on a huge disc! This little nifty, small fandangled item will let you put it in your pocket and transfer data like lightning. Just plug and copy! 1,2,3 you're done....
