JovialCougar says "Put a spring in your step with Dr Scholl's insoles" about Dr Scholl's - Extra Support Insoles

When the original insoles in my New Balance Walking Shoes began to wear out, I started looking around for replacements. I came across these Dr Scholl's Extra Support Insoles, which have turned out to be good substitutes for the original insoles. — These Dr Scholl's Extra Support Insoles fits men's sized shoes 8-13. You will need to trim the tips and perhaps the sides a bit to get a good fit within your own shoes. Luckily, that only required about 5 minutes of my time. After removing the existing insoles and slipping these new ones in my shoes, I was good to go. — Dr Scholl's Extra Support Insoles help alleviate foot aches/fatigue, pressure on your feet from frequent standing and/or walking, and they provide some additional cushioning for arch support. I find them to be useful since I walk frequently, especially on paved surfaces. — The insoles are best for casual shoes or work boots; they are a bit wide and may be too...

I brought my brother some shoes from adidas for his birthday and the durability just wasnt well. Ive always broughten adidas for me, but his shoes started to show wear and tear within a month. He only worn them a few times and to places where he couldnt tore them up. This has never happen to me before and i wonder if it could of been a defective pair of shoes. Ive always gotten adidas and never had problems with them....

CyndiA says "My teenage son went wild for these Jimmy Buffett flipflops." about Margaritaville - Soles of the Tropics - Men's Pipeline Flipflops

My son does not pay much attention to clothes or shoes, but he did want these Jimmy Buffett flipflops under the brand name Margaritaville - Soles of the Tropics. Really, what else will Jimmy Buffett come up with? He's got his music plus food and now clothes. And his restaurants. Well, hey, that's OK. I like Jimmy Buffett. — These Margaritaville flipflops remind of the rainbow flipflops that the college kids love. It's the same basic idea - different logo. — My son does like the slip on shoes. He's a lifeguard at the YMCA, so he does need some shoes like this. He's always gone for the Nike which do not have the thing between the toe - just a wide band over the top of the foot. I was kind of surprised that he asked about these. — My kid has liked his Margaritaville flipflops. They look dressier than the Nike ones he had been wearing. He got a girlfriend (or a date at least) too since he got these, so I guess cute flipflops don't hurt at least. — These...

JovialCougar says "These shoes were made for walkin'" about New Balance - MW558 Walking Shoes

I've had pretty good luck with New Balance athletic shoes and decided to get another pair when my old walking shoes bit the dust. This time I purchased New Balance MW558 walking shoes in the mesh format (they also come in leather). I paid about $64 for these athletic walking shoes, which is on the lower end of the price range for New Balance products. — The New Balance MW558 walking shoes are designed for walking on pavement or level packed gravel trails. They are very lightweight (less than 13 ounces), well cushioned, and feature a leather upper. According to the manufacturer this New Balance shoes has ABZORB heel technology which is designed to absorb the impact of your heel on the ground. It does seem to work too, as I feel a cushioned impact while walking without being mushy. — The interior padding is also absorbent and comfortable. One reason I chose this shoe is that it is sold in a Wide Width format (4E) which I need due to a high arch. So is...

Hello, I am going to tell you about Adidas. Adidas are a gym shoe/tennis shoe. They can be worn formally or informally. Meaning they are everyday ware. For just about any occasion. They look good with, shorts, skirts or a nice suite or even a nice polo shirt. They also never go out of style. I would encourage everyone to have a pair in their closet. If you don't your behind in time. I have quite a few. I love them, plus they extra comfortable. Feel like your walking on air. They can also make your feet look small also. You know we all like small feet.So cop a pair and see for yourself. —...

GeorgeChabot says "Comfortable protective footgear for your sport riding" about Harley-Davidson - S Liberate Men's Motorcycle Boots

Harley-Davidson Liberate boots — — When you ride motorcycles, good safety gear is important to enjoy your riding and get the most out of your riding experience. I know it's unpleasant to think about the spills that sometimes go along with the thrills and chills of motorcycling, but a good pair of riding boots allow you to work your controls positively, and heaven forbid, provide protection in event of an incident. Good footwear is as important to your comfort and safety as your crash helmet. — — I bought these boots for my summer riding. They are something like jungle boots with the cloth uppers reinforced with hard leather so they breathe and don't make your feet sweat like solid leather boots. Like all Harley boots, they are expensive but the quality is worth it. — — The Liberate boot has shock absorber technology for comfort and once you lace up the fronts and get them feeling right, there is an inside zipper for quick donning and doffing...

THese are very comfortable shoes you can tell this the first time you put them on your feet. But beware when outside in the rain your feet will be soaked because of the breathable sides and top. The very dark parts on the shoe is some kind of mesh that allows air to your feet but it allows water to I did not know this till I wore them to the grocery store one evening other than that a great shoe with good looks and a very reasonible price. It is very light and great for your feet.Having said that if your planning on robbing a liquor store you should invest in these shoes because it should help with your fast getaway.except in washington state where the added water weight would not be to your advantage..In this case might I suggest a JOB of some sort. Also the shoestrings are very hard to tie and often comes...

I was getting really sick of wearing conventional athletic shoes, and the rift comes in adorable patterns and colours. The "air zoom" technology is a godsend for my knees. Incredibly comfortable!

I really needed some new hiking shoes but was having trouble finding something not too expensive. After doing some comparative shopping I finally came across the New Balance MT 570 Hiking Shoes, which have turned out to be exactly what I needed. — New Balance MT570 Hiking Shoes cost $69, which is a pretty reasonable price. They have New Balance's ''N-Fuse'' technology, which is soft-cushioning foam with firm foam in the midsole. This shoe offers excellent mid-foot support from the front of the heel to the toe area. — The upper portion of this hiking shoe is made of synthetic mesh materials. The shoes weigh just 13 ounces and have a good traction pattern on the sole for gripping the ground. My shoes have a brown/orange color pattern. At first I wasn't crazy about the color scheme but it has grown on me, and looks better than the black/yellow and black/red patterns available in this shoe. — I have hiked in the foothills near Denver, Colorado, where the trails are...

I miss the sneakers I sued to wear as a kid - red "tennies", with litte or no padding. Comfy, durable, reliable, with real rubber soles - not some vinyl composite. They were usally Keds. — Last week I went sneaker shopping. I didn't want sneakers that were nedorsed by some famous basketball player, or sneakers that I could hook up to my Ipod (they actually have those, you know), or sneakers that promised to make me jump higher than anyone else. I just wanted good pair of sneakers that fit, felt good, and looked good. I wound up buying a brand I'd never heard of - Ball Band. — As far as I can tell by looking online, Ball Band mainly makes men's dress shoes...sort of creepy dress shoes, if you want to know the truth. Shoes that looklike they're made of rawhide. Yikes! The Ball band sneakers I got, though, are beautiful. Red, textured leather low top basketball sneakers. Like the old Converse Chuck's, but a little fancier. Thick rubber soles, nice, cotton laces. A great...

I bought a pair of Nike trainers two months back and I have been very happy with my purchase. I bought Nike Air Turbulance, this brand was very popular and I could see why. Its not the shape of classics but a more sporty shape. It is different from other trainer on the market. I find them very comfortable to wear because of the padding. The trainers cost me £60 when i bought them, i would imagine that they have either risen in price or remained constant but i doubt whether they would go below £60. I think that they are worth the money because they are so fashionable and also not too expensive. there is also a wide range of colours for that trainer which i found good....

mattgordon says "Trading comfort and durability for style." about Kenneth Cole - leather shoes

I once owned a pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes. The name of the model escapes me, I think it had a name like "the new guy". While they were nice looking, I noticed after a moderate amount of use that the sole was detaching from the rest of the shoe. This is bad, as I am one of the many people who enjoys having soles attached to the bottom of my shoes. —

Fast forward to recently. Apparently unable to learn from past mistakes, I bought a new pair of Kenneth Cole shoes that seemed to fit well in the store. Upon walking to work, however, I noticed that they were incredibly painful. Assuming that they just had to be "worn in" I continued onward. By the end of the day I was in such bad pain that I cancelled my plans just so I could go home and take these little torture devices off. —

Happily I was able to return these, but the sales woman had an interesting observation. "Those shoes aren't really good for walking around in" she told me. I informed her that I had...

Your ankles need support while riding and stopping and that means a good pair of boots. While stopped you are balancing a 500+ pound motorcycle, so good support on your ankles as well as non slip soles is important. Have you ever driven down the highway and another vehicle kicked up a rock that cracked your windshield? Well imagine if that same rock hit your unprotected ankle.(or God forbid your head!!)....It would be very painful and could cause you to lose control, that would be very bad! — — Brahma Boots "Gus" — — Theses boots have a nice thick leather upper and a non skid sole, they also have steel toes. These boots have a Goodyear Welt which adds rigidity for extra stability and help them last longer. With the large lugs (like the tread on your tires) and Oil Resistant Soles these will give you an extra measure of safety while riding. — — These are 6" in height and lace up nice and tight, along with a comfortable padding on...
