jps246 says "The Guatemalan Camp Shirt is good for hiking and exploring" about EMS Guatemalan Camp Shirt

While I do most of my hiking in t-shirts, I found the Guatemalan Camp Shirt at EMS on sale and figured I'd give it a try. I haven't been disappointed with it and I'm glad I found it. — The shirt is made from wicking nylon and is treated to offer UV and stain protection. The fabric is wrinkle resistant and since it is a midweight fabric, there's some level of protection from abrasion damage. There's a mesh liner on the on the upper portion of the shirt to help draw sweat away from your body and get it to wick through the shirt more quickly. There's also a vent on the back of the shirt, which provides additional air flow and lets heat escape more quickly from the shirt. — I have noticed a few wrinkles, especially after my shirt has been stuffed in a pack, but overall the shirt has functioned as advertised. It hasn't ripped or been torn, even when I've subjected it to some abrasion and it does tend to feel dryer than a standard synthetic...

courier2001 says "Does Exactly What It Says It Will Do!" about Under Armour Mock Turtlneck Cold Weather Gear

 — — Under Armour does what it says it will do! It keeps an active person warm and regulates body tempature. If you plan to stand or sit around in the cold and look cool, that is exactly what you'll be-cool. This active wear garment is for those who are on the move and who are going to sweat. The fabric actually moves the sweat away from your body as well as excess heat. It in turn keeps in enough heat to keep you comfortable. — So far I have used it to stay comfortable and dry doing my courier routes. I usually have 50+ stops a day going in warm or hot buildings and back out into the cold Maine winter air.Wearing the Under Armour turtleneck allowed me to dress lightly and to be very comfortable all day and evening long. —...

TimsMom says "Sorry, not worth it." about Hanes Sweatshirt Hoodie

These are competitively priced and easy to find, but not worth your trouble. They tend to shrink, don't stay soft long, the printed on tag peels and itches, and the general length is too short. I bought my usual size but after washing it once, the kangaroo pocket is up near my chest and the hem doesn't want to stay down around my pants waistline. Also the neck edge in front bothers me and I end up tuggin it down as I wear it. Try another brand..I think you'll be...

JerseyBoy says "The most cooling and sun-protective outerwear I've ever bought." about O'Neill 24/7 Rashguard

I have tried a number of high-tech tops to use on my summer bike rides. Cool-Max, Dri-Fit...you name it. The O'neill 24/7 Rashguard is the best I've ever worn. Even though the intended use is in the surf, don't be fooled. This light garment will keep your upper body cooler than just about anything else on the market. — To boot, when you wear it in the surf, you don't need to have a model's body. It is sized like a tee-shirt so that average folks can wear it without looking like you're wearing a sausage casing :-) — This is only the second product I've ever purchased from this company (other a bathing suit that keeps on going after 4 years of surf-pounding action). What great and durable products these guys make! — Way to go O'Neill! —...

PattyTherre says "These are camo but I never blend in when I wear them!" about Otomix Camouflage Cargo 520

Quick View: Working out is no fun for me but I feel better doing it when I like what I am wearing. These camo cargos are functional and can be worn out as well as for exercise. — About the Otomix Camouflage Cargo 520 — These workout pants are sexy, functional, and comfortable. They have a low rise and a drawstring waist with two side pockets. The inseam is approximately 32 inches. These come in sizes Small, Medium, and Large and stretch for comfort. They are slightly boot cut. — I buy quite a few things from Otomix because I like their styles and their quality. However, I don't like their prices. Still everything is always of the highest quality. These cargos not only work great as workout pants but look good for street wear. Camouflage is very trendy in the gyms and on the streets and these will look great and function well in all environments. These are a cotton/polyester blend with a bit of spandex for stretch. They're great for any exercise but I like to...

MotorcycleMark says "Great Motorcycle Boots for Street Riding" about Sidi Vertigo Corsa Motorcycle Boots

These are the best motorcycle boots I have owned in my 40 years of riding. Being Italian, manufactured in Italy, you have to know they are good boots. The boots have the most ankle support of any boot. Period! I have broken my ankle and would only wear these. — They are adjustable in the calves and the bridge of your foot. All the adjustments for comfort place these boots far above the competition. The adjustments keep your feet from moving around in the boot, a safety feature in the case of a crash. Non skid soles, operable venting, and many of the parts being replaceable adds more lure to owning a pair. — To see more of the boots go to www.motonation.com. All the various models, with many colors are shown and you can purchase from this site. Mine are black and red, a fairly conservative looking pair. You can buy them with as much flash as you want. The cost is high, but your safety is worth it. —...

PattyTherre says "Good for the earth and for exercisers. Best I have found!" about Greenyarn Yoga Socks

Quick View: These eco friendly yoga socks are amazing! — About Greenyarn Yoga Socks — Greenyard makes eco friendly socks of all kinds. The yoga socks have open heels and toes and rise above the ankle. This design helps prevent restriction while protecting feet and keeping you from slipping on slick mats. They have cushioned soles and are great for those who want to warm up their ankles without using bulky legwarmers. — — Their big claim to fame is that they are made with bamboo charcoal which absorbs odors in the air as well as on your feet, helping the environment. They are also recyclable when the time comes to finally retire them. More about the positive effects of bamboo charcoal can be read at their website at www.greenyarnstore.com. — — I used them when doing yoga and found them to be superior to bare feet, regular socks, and athletic shoes. They keep my ankle joints warm and cushion the soles of my feet while I attempt crazy...
