Their signiture is corset backs (which I think are beautiful and a little sexy), but they have a great selection of other styles if you don't like corset backs. When I first found my dress online, I fell in love with it. Though I really wanted to keep the cost down, I loved the dress so much, I was willing to buy it no matter what the price. However, I didn't have to worry too much, because I soon found out that the price was a fraction of what I thought it would be.

My only complaints are:
1) They don't put prices online so you have to go to the store to find out the prices (but don't worry most of their dresses have amazing prices).
2) The stores that carry their dresses usually only have ~10 of the more than 300 dresses they make, so you have to call around to see if stores have the...

In the 60s and early 70s you couldn't turn around without seeing a Lily Pulitzer - or a Lily Pulitzer knock off. She started out designing simple shifts in bright colors or unusual patterns. I think she was the first desifner who mixed lime green with yellow and pink with orange. Commomplace now but it was unheard of then. Lily expanded her designs and colors and her clothes are in demand again. I was in Bloomingdale's and found the Lily Pulitzer "Burke" Dress. The first think that caught my eye was the bright blue multi pattern - pure Lily.

Then I looked at the features and realized it might look good on me. One important feature is that it has long sleeves with banded cuffs. (I really don't want to expose my upper arms.) This Eva Picone design is flattering to any body style. The Three Quarter Marilyn Dress is sexy and demure at the same time.

It's a Polyester/Spandex fabric so it's extremely comfortable. The V Neck is not too low cut but it does flatter any bustline. The V Neck is fashionably shirred.

The Three Quarter Marilyn Quarter dress has elbow lengthed sleeves and it usually hangs right at your knees. It is strictly a slip on dress with no closures..

It comes in four colors - Teal, Cobalt, Black and Bordeaux. The sizes range from 2 to 18 - the sizes run slightly small so if you order it by mail, keep that in mind.

I found mine at Macy's for $99.00 and it was worth every penny. A friend of mine found it on line and paid even less for it.

Mine is Bordeaux and it is extremely flattering. It's hard to believe I got such a beautiful dress at such a low price.

I had never heard of Eva Picone before but I'm going to check out all her designs.

I bought this beautiful dress at Torrid. I am a plus sized women, ample in all areas where it is tought to find clothing. I find that this dress supported my bust area and flattered my waistline. It is crinkled and the texture changes in the midriff area to conceal and disguise any imperfections there of which I am definely not just the president, but also a client. This dress does not require ironing and can be worn casually or if you put a bolero or another fashion piece over the shoulders can be worn to work or to a dressup event. I love pieces that are super versatile and you can do those sorts of wardrobe arrangements with. It zips up the back and holds everything in, but comfortably so. The material feels good on your skin. This dress was amazing. I was nearing my deadline of finding a dress that looked good on someone who is slim from the waist down, but incredibly busty.
