lorraine8 says "Cute and Spacious" about Avon Holiday Train Case

I bought the travel case because I thought it looked cute. It not only is really cute, I was able to pack all of my cosmetics into it (and let me tell you I have a lot of them). I received a lot of compliments on the train case when I carried it with me on a recent road trip! ...

LoveisJoy says "Swisspers are Supremely Better than Cotton Balls" about Swisspers Supreme Cotton Rounds

I know that it seems a little odd to get excited over cotton balls, but hear me out. Swisspers Supreme Cotton Rounds are worth every penny of the $3.49 I paid for them. I normally purchase whichever cotton balls or pads are on sale, or whatever I happen to find at the Dollar Store. Unfortunately, with generic cotton balls I generally end up using two or three at a time when applying toner or removing nail polish. In addition, regular cotton balls always seem to litter my face with pieces of lint, and absorb more toner than they apply. Swisspers Supreme Cotton Rounds — I bought the Swisspers at Drugstore.com because I needed to reach the $25 minimum for free shipping. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and saw that instead of cotton balls, the Swisspers are 100% cotton rounds with two different textures. The flat, round shape of the slightly puffy pad makes it easier to use than small round cotton balls. ...

sweetnspicytaz says "not the safest thing to have around" about Equate Cotton Swabs

You get what you pay for. They look super in the box that you can reclose but that is it. I found the swab parts come off the stick and even cotton swabs that weren't even on the stick. I don't feel safe using on myself or even letting my older children use them. Pay a little extra for the good quality and...

Katrena says "I want my money back after using these Equate cotton swabs" about Equate Cotton Swabs

I know Equate cotton swabs are less expensive than the brand name cotton swabs. I've bought them many times in the past and haven't had a problem. We used to be able to buy ones with different colored sticks, and my girls loved to pick whatever color struck their fancy. — Now only white ones are available. Defective white ones. The cotton on this batch tends to start slipping off the stick if you move it at all when trying to clean or apply something. We've used quite a few of these in this box, and almost every one of them tries to come apart. — I know they don't cost must, but I want my money back. It's the principle of the thing. Satisfaction guaranteed--says so right on the back. — My Viewpoint: — Previously, this was a good product at a good price. Now the Equate brand of cotton swabs offers less variety and a defective product. I would not recommend it unless they improve this product to at least its previous quality. —...

I have had a make over at an Aveda spa twice now. First time they put the products on me I looked and felt so greasy. Then second time I told the girl about it, and she said that it was probably my skin type. Well again after the product was put on I looked like I hadn't washed my skin in year....it was sick. I'll never buy the products, and I'll never have another make up session with Aveda. ...

Buggheart says "Just the right size to hold all of my stuff." about Avon Holiday Train Case

Although I will soon be in need of some Avon items that I buy regularly, I decided to place an order well beforehand so I could take advantage of a great deal on the Avon Holiday Train Case. — I travel a few times a year and have yet to find the perfect sized makeup bag for travelling. My makeup arsenal includes several Bare Escentuals containers, lip glosses in tubes, an eyelash curler, and brushes with long handles. It's not tons of makeup but the items can be bulky and do not fit into those little makeup bags that resemble an envelope with a zipper on top. — The Holiday Train Case is $25 but right now on Avon.com you can get it for only $4.99 with a $5 purchase. So I ordered a bunch of Glimmersticks, some eyeshadow and lip gloss I didn't need, and the train case which turned out to be the perfect size for my cosmetics. It measures 8 3/4" L x 5 1/2" H x 4 1/2" D and has two zippers that zip all the way to the back so that the top flips wide...

PattyTherre says "A good little travel mirror that you can use three ways." about Goody So You 3-n-1 Mirror

Quick View: This little mirror was a last minute purchase as I left for a few days in the mountains. A girl has to have a travel mirror, you know, and this one is really cute. — — About the Goody So You 3-n-1 Mirror — — This mirror is about five inches in diameter and is encased in grey resin-like plastic. It has regular and 3X magnification. You can use it as a regular mirror or unhinge the side and use it as a standing mirror. Or you can use it as a hanging mirror for shaving or whatever you might want a hanging mirror for. — — The quality of this mirror is good.. There is no distortion or weirdness (besides my own face looking back at me) on either side. The surrounding material is very sturdy and it is easy to switch from regular to standing to hanging. It just takes a quick flick of plastic on one side to switch from a framed mirror to a standing make up mirror to a hanging one. Cute! It's small and travels well, although a carry bag would...
