The Aveeno positively ageless sunblock spray with SPF 50 is the best sunblock I have tested in a long time. This bottle can be sprayed all over the back and front of your legs and thighs even upside down and get a good enough coverage you are satisfied with. I bought it for myself this summer and it worked really great. I chose the highest SPF that was available on the shelf and the first time I used it, I was happy with it. Just like most sunblocks, you need to reapply after toweling off, but like I mentioned before, it's so easy to spray on yourself, It's a sinch. I especially like the fact that once it's on your skin, it doesn't feel oily or greasy and it doesn't have a nasty smell either. The only thing I wasn't too happy about is the fact that when you do spray it, make sure you're outdoors and that you are far away from other people because if it's a breazy day, you can be sure, the spray will just blow away.

The Neutragena daily defense face lotion with Alpha-Hydroxy is wonderful stuff. I have been using it for 5 years+. If you put it on every night before you go to bed, you will see a noticeable difference in the morning. The alpha-hydroxy really does smooth out your skin and take off the dead skin cells. I am pretty much addicted now. I have tried lots of difference face lotions from both the drug store and department stores and found that this one works best. It costs about $15 per bottle, but you can find coupons to get it for less at CVS or rite aid. It lasts several months, and I always used mine until there is absolutely none left - it's that good. If you also out a bit on the back you your hands, it's a mini-manicure. It feels a little tingly when you put it on, but that only lasts for a few seconds and that's how you know it's doing the job. You will certainly not be disappointed if you give it a try!

When I was younger I never used a sunscreen. My goal was to tan as dark and stay as dark as I could all year. I thought a sunscreen would inhibit that.

I use different products to help the damage I've already done to my skin and I find them effective. To prevent further damage I never leave the house winter or summer without sunscreen. During the winter I just apply it to my face but when I go to the beach or just out in my back yard I apply it everywhere. If there is a part of my body that will be exposed, it's protected by sunscreen.

Clinique is the brand I use most for foundation because it is sensitive to problem skin. When I looked for my first sunscreen it was Clinique that I went to first. I found exactly what I needed in the Clinique Sun SPF 30 Face and Body Cream. It uses Solar Smart technology to stabalize a high level of protection from both UVA and UVB rays. Even when I'm in the sun it's helping me repair the damage that my skin already shows.

I have very sensitive skin and have a hard time finding a skin cream that doesn't irritate it or make it break out in acne, so I was pleasantly surprised by the Aveeno face block. It's creamy but light and doesn't have any irritating fragrances. I love having a higher SPF than 15 in my face cream since I live in AZ and the sun is brutal, but most sunscreens are so oily that they are not suited for facial use. This one provides that protection while leaving skin soft and not oily feeling. It feels kind of greasy at first, but soaks in quickly and doesn't leave a residue or have that awful sunscreen smell to it. I put it on every day after washing my face and before applying makeup, and I love that it doesn't interfere with my foundation or make it cover less well like some face creams do. It's not the cheapest, but about comparable to any other sunblock out there, and since it doubles as a facial moisturizer I don't mind paying and extra dollar here or there. Aveeno wins again!

I work at a job where I am in the sun constantly, and have to put up with a variety of weather throughout the year including the hot 120 degree desert heat and the harsh winds, so I really need a sunblock that I can count on. I really love the Aveeno SPF 70 Face Block because it is perfect for wearing all year round and really protects. I put this sunblock on in the morning and it lasts all day. It is so easy to apply, and goes on thick and creamy, but is absorbed into the skin quickly. It feels light on and doesn't have an artificial smell like some sunscreens do. This is a gentle formula, so I can use it all over, including on my face and it doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts. I use this everyday and it takes the skin cancer and sunburn worries out of my head because it makes me feel fully protected. It has a soft and smooth texture and works well under makeup too. The best part is that the ingredients are all natural, so it is good for your skin.

Ever since my nutritionist pointed out that what we put on our skins is as important as what we eat and drink, I have been on a quest to locate organic products that are cruelty free and work as well as the conventional products.

I like the Alba Botanica line of Organic products. Included in this line is the Botanica Full Spectrum UVA & UVB Sun Protection SPF 30 Organic Lavender. This is a very thick product and a little goes a very long way.

I found that it is best applied as moisturizer rather than over moisturizer. I also learned the hard way that you dont want to put this on your forehead if you are going to be in a situation where you are going to be sweating. In order to learn this valuable lesson I spent a very uncomfortable day at work, washing out my tearing eyes several times until they were clear.

I use this daily, I have not used it on the beach rather my use has been nearly exclusively as a daily product. Because I had such an unpleasant experience with the sunscreen getting...

Nixon Scalp Shield is a new spray on sunscreen for your scalp. Think about it....how often do you protect your scalp when out in the sun? I never did....until I developed a skin cancer on my scalp two years ago. After having to have skin surgery to remove the skin cancer, I have consistently used a sunscreen on my scalp, but I found that the sunscreens available were NOT developed for use on the scalp, and they made my hair greasy or stiff. Still, I had to protect my head, so my only options were wear the normal sunscreen or wear a hat.

This year, I found Nioxin Scalp Shield with Sunblock SPF 20. It comes in a 3.4 oz. spray bottle; is easy to apply, does not affect my hair at all, and provides the protection I need.

The product is alcohol and residue free and has a pleasant, light scent.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF 55, is very light and absorbs into my skin very easily. I purchased this product to use on my face because my face is very sensitive to the sun and burns much faster than my body. I love the high spf of this product and that it is made by Neutrogena. I always take this product with me to the beach and when I am on vacation. It is made with helioplex and covers a broad spectrum of uva and uvb rays. I never feel greasy when using this product and it doesn't clog my pores since it is oil free. This product is waterproof, sweatproof, and resists rub-off. The scent is very light and smells & feels clean. I love that this product is the #1 dermatologist recommended suncare, so I know I am doing something good for my skin. The bottle is a little pricey, but since I only use it on my face it has lasted a long time. I use a SPF 30 product for my body.

I love this sunscreen. Before I bought it I had tried another brand that made me feel like I had sprayed cooking oil all over myself. Yuck! Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Mist Sunblock is a cool refreshing way to keep you and your family protected from the sun's damaging effects. It sprays on effortlessly and the micro mist makes sure that even those hard to reach areas are covered (I tend to rub it in after, even though you may not have to, just to make sure) It's never greasy. It has a pleasant smell and a lightweight can that's easy to just throw in your purse or beach bag to make sure you're always covered.

The only con I have is that it is quite pricey. I bought some over the summer at regular retail and it ended up being $16. That's fine for the occational user but having very fair skin that burn when I just look at the sun (ok, a bit of an exageration) my family and I go through quite a bit. If you can find it on sale I highly recommend giving it a shot.

I really LOVE all California Baby's stuff! The Ingredients they use in their products are safer for baby too. This sunscreen really protects baby from those harmful rays!

Now for the details: 2 drawbacks are price and the cream is white (making application somewhat messy).

1. I personally prefer that it be white so that I can see where I've put it on my baby. :) But I have had family members complain about it - which clearly the white goes away when you apply it but you have to rub it in well enough.I have used this sunscreen all summer on my baby and she has not burned at all! Okay, the only time she burned at all was a really small area near her diaper where I must not have applied the sunscreen. I guess that gave me the chance to see how well it was really working! So once it is on, it is on - and no worries because it works great.

2. The price is high (as it is for all of CB's products). However, I think it is well worth it.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, Dry-Touch Sunblock is a total joke. I was so excited when this stuff came out, because who doesn't love the idea of a sunscreen that's not oily and doesn't smell like sunscreen? And this sunscreen does exactly that...and really lives up to all it's supposed to be...as long as you don't move or let anything touch you after applying it! Ya that's how fragile your sun protection is with this. Literally minutes after putting this stuff on, if you so much as say touch your arm, it's all peeling off. If you brush up against something, it's peeling off. If you bend your leg, it's peeling off. This stuff is horrible! I'm so disappointed as this really is a great concept, and I have been searching forever for a sunblock that doesn't smell like a sunblock as I can't stand that smell. Plus the oily sunscreens are a serious turn-off for me too, but I guess the search continues, because this one is certainly not the answer.

I was disipointed int DHC SunCut Q10 SPF 30+ facial sunscreen. I burn extremely easily and was looking for a daily sunscreen that didn't feel or smell like sunscreen... in other words, I wanted something that I wouldn't notice that I was wearing. I typically am very pleased with how light and natural feeling DHC products are. Unfortenantely, this product was not what I was looking for. It left a slight sheen to my face that even a fair amount of power had a hard time covering. And even worse, it felt a bit sticky.

In the end I found a product from Olay that worked better, cost less, and didn't feel sticky like this one. So if you are looking for a daily facial mosturizer, I recommend checking out Olay's sensative skin moisturizing lotion (spf 15).

Coppertone Ultraguard Waterproof SPF 70 broad spectrum sunscreen is the very best sunscreen I have found for a long day in the sun (particularly if there is water involved). I burn extremely easily- to the point that I wear a light sunscreen every day in the summer because otherwise I will burn walking from my car into the grocery store (or wherever). But when I'm going to be in the water or out for an extended period of time I turn to Coppertone Ultraguard Waterproof SPF 70.

I used to use the SPF 50 of the same line, and people who think the extra SPF doesn't help aren't people who burn easily. Trust me, you can tell a difference. This works better. I also think it doesn't smell nearly as bad as the SPF 50. It still smells a little funny- a bit like rubber- but a funny smell is a price I'm willing to pay for good protection. It costs a little more than the SPF 50, but it is worth every penny.

Another good thing: This is a broad spectrum sunscreen: meaning it protects against UVA and UVB...

Nutragena is known for its gentle products. The Nutragena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 55 is no exception. I had surgery in April 2009 on my neck. The only task I had to perform after surgery was to wear sun screen every day so my scar would not turn blue?!? Needless to say, having a 2 inch long blue line in the middle of my neck is not something I wanted to risk, so I became a religious daily user of sun screen.

My research told me that sun block is the more effective type of sun screen. Meaning that it needs to have something in the formula that blocks your skin. What this means in practical terms is that the sun screens with the best protection will most likely leave a white film on your skin.

Nutragena Ultra Sheer is really ultra sheer. It does not leave an annoying white film on your face, and it did not make my very sensitive skin break out. I can put it on instead of moisturizer and put my makeup on over it (even a liquid foundation when needed) and not have to...

When I purchased items at Sephora I got a 1-ounce tube of DuWop Revolution SPF 15 bronzing body moisturizer. The regular size of 4 ounces costs $28.00.

A Closer View

The first thing I noticed and am noticing as I review DuWop Revolution SPF 15 bronzing body moisturizer is the light brown color and the smell of what can called resembling suntan lotion.

We are told that this is new and improved because it won't rub off on clothes and furniture.

You must keep DuWop Revolution SPF 15 bronzing body moisturizer out of your eyes and if you get a rash call your doctor. I have had no adverse effects at all.

DuWop Revolution SPF 15 bronzing body moisturizer is said to be shimmery and a bronzing body moisturizer with SPF of 15. Burt's Bees Sunscreen SPF15 is just about the worst sunscreen I have ever tried. The first thing about it is the price. I paid $12.99 for this tube of stuff, and I feel terrible about wasing my money. Upon opening the product the smell was terrible! Perhaps hemp is not the scent I was expecting or accustomed to. I simply could not tolerate the smell. Another thing that was so disappointing about Burt's Bees sunscreen was the texture. The lotion was extemely hard to rub onto my skin, and when it was on my skin, it felt dry and unpleasant. I thought that perhaps it was just me, so without giving my opinion, I gave the Burt's Bees sunscreen to my sixteen year old daughter to try. She had a strong negative reaction to the smell and texture as well. Neither one of us could stand to have the product on our skin and opted to wash it all off and throw the rest of the rather expensive product away. How disappointing!

I've always been a big fan of Aveeno. Aveeno Positively Ageless Sunblock Lotion with SPF 70 for Face did not let me down. I am currently doing laser hair removal on my face and was told that I had to keep from getting a tan - that's in the South, in the summer. I normally used a lotion with SPF 30 but I had to find something stronger. I also have very sensitive skin and can't have fragrances, perfumes or dyes.

Aveeno Positively Ageless Sunblock Lotion with SPF 70 for Face works perfectly. It goes on easily and doesn't take much to use so the bottled does last a long time. Most days I only apply once and the coverage still works. If I am out at the beach I will use about once every hour and can really tell that it is working. My face is so much whiter than the rest of my body -lol. For that reason, once the laser hair treatments are over, I will switch to a lower SPF. BUT I will look for one by Aveeno Positively Ageless. It really works and my skin feels great!

The Coppertone Ultraguard Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Waterproof Sunscreen is the best high intensity sunscreen I have found. (Note: I am not talking about the spray on version; I refer to the lotion version). This is what I put on if I'm going to be swimming or sweating while in the sun. I burn really easily so I need strong sunscreen that wont wear off quickly (even if I'm only going to be out for 30 minutes to an hour). This is one of the few sunscreens I have found that I would say is actually "waterproof." It is not going to come off when you get in the water. Of course, this means you have to scrub to get it off in the shower. I also like that this is Broad Spectrum- meaning it protects against UVA and UVB rays. Since skin cancer runs in my family, this protection is very important to me. The biggest drawback to this product is that it is quite greasy. The bottle says "non-greasy" but that is not true at all. It leaves you feeling sticky and smelling like sunscreen, but it protects well...

Quick View: I'm up in the Adirondack mountains for the week with my family and, as usual, I'm the only one who prepared for any type of weather. The forecast said it would be cloudy and rainy all week but I packed Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion for Faces SPF 70 anyway. Just in case the sun did peek through.

Not only has it been peeking through, it's been shining brightly since we got here. This sunblock works and my older son is suffering tonight because he didn't think he "needed" to use it today.

Aveeno SPF 70 Face Block is a great product. I orginially heard about it from a friend who like me is very very prone to getting sunburn on her face, espcially her nose and cheeks. I love being outdoors, but I hate how red my face gets and I know it is terrible for my skin to burn over and over again. I bought this product at the beginning of the summer and it has worked great! Even when I wear sunglasses (which seem to reflect sun on my face cause burns) I have had no problems. This face block doesn't break me out either, which has been a problem with products in the past. The formula is light but a little hard to get rubbed in all the way. It is long lasting, although if you sweat a lot be careful about putting your eye lids because it will sting your eyes. I love how this product is no more expensive than any other sunscreen either and I know in my area it seems to go on sale frequently. I highly reccomend it!
