Before receiving my Dove Skinvitalizer I would dread the tedious ritual regarding my facial care, but now having received it as a gift I have no idea what I did without it. This product, by far, has sped up my morning and evening routine as well as helped my skin to look and feel much healthier. I just pop into the bathroom, turn on the water, splash my face, attach a cleansing pillow (I prefer the exfoliating), rub it all over my face, splash clean, dry, and I'm on my way! Simple, easy, and fun. Myskin looks younger, smoother and more even. I have recommended this product to all of my female co-workers and upon picking it up they now all agree that it is the easiest an cheapest skin splurge available currently. I fully expect that should my current one break or just simply wear out I will definitely be rushing out to buy a new one immediately.

I absolutely love this product. I bought it when it was on sale, just to try it out. And I fell in love! Firstly, I hardly ever take off makeup before cleansing, so I always looks for cleansers that would also work as a makeup remover. And I found this. It thoroughly takes off my makeup and does its job as a cleanser. It leaves my skin silky smooth without any odours. The scent itself is bland, neither here nor there, but that is minor in comparison to the job it does. I love this product and will continue using it.

Mario Badescu's Enzyme Cleansing Gel has been a staple in my beauty regimen for the past few years. Even though it does not foam/suds up, and I'm usually a fan a suds, I am always left feeling squeaky clean, but not overly dry. The subtle earthy scent is slightly sweet smelling and a welcome change from the often over perfumed cleansers you find on the typical department store shelf. Although it is not the easiest to find, I have had great success ordering from their website and am happy to pay the price beacause this stuff lasts a long time. A little dab is all it takes every wash. Hopefully more retailers will carry Mario products soon!

I have been using this cleansing oil product for 4 years now. During that time, I experimented briefly with cleansing oils from MAC, Shu Uemura, Shiseido and Fancl. Overall, I think the DHC deep cleansing oil is still the best because of price and quality. Firstly, I thought that fancl, Shiseido and Shu Uemura were not as good in terms of performance. That is, they did not clean as well as DHC. I was especially disappointed with the Shu Uemura purchase because it was so pricey and still performed substandard to the cheaper DHC.
The MAC cleanser was great, it cleaned just as well as DHC in my opinion. However, it is not as thick so you have to use more of it per wash. Therefore, it runs out a lot faster than DHC, plus the bottles are only 150ml VS DHC's 200ml. Also, I liked how DHC is basically scentless, I just feel better knowing that they're putting as few chemicals in as necessary.

This is a great product for those who like feeling squeaky clean and fresh. I used to use Dove but felt like it did not really wash off all the dirt accumulated throughout the day. Plus it felt like it left a film-like coat of residue on my skin. I have been so happy with lever 2000 after switching from dove. It smells very clean and fresh. I think it markets more towards men than women, but I find no problem using it even though I'm female. It does not dry out my skin or anything.
Also, it does not "melt" like other soaps. That is, the bar stays firm even if i get it half-soaked with water in my soap dish. The color is a little off-putting, since it is a rather bright blue. But I dont think that this should be harmful in any way. I would not reccommend using it to wash the face however because it can be drying and also, bar soaps tend to clog the pores moreso than form or cream cleansers.

I first came across the MAC Make Up Remover Wipes at a MAC store. I went to the store to try on make up, and had to remove what was on my face before I started. They brought out the plastic pack, with the hard oval enclosure (brilliant for keeping the wipes moist from the first wipe to the last wipe in the package). Having sensitive skin I am careful about what I use on my face. The make-up artist (all of the people who work at MAC stores are artists, make-up as well as a few traditional artists) promised me that the wipe was mild enough to protect my skin, but effective enough to remove the make up.

She was correct. I used several wipes that day all over my face, including my lips. I did not break out, and the bright vibrant colors I was playing with were removed completly before I ventured into a different look.

MAC describes their wipes as:

Since I work out in the middle of the day during the work week, I like to have facial cloth to use before my work out to remove makeup. I picked up the Ponds Cleansing Towelettes to keep in my gym bag.

It is important to me that before I start working out that my face feel clean. I am not as concerned with moisturizing before a work out because I sweat a lot, and I always do a very thorough cleaning post work out. But I have found that if I dont clean off the makeup before a work out I regret it later due to breakouts and melted makeup.

When I read the description of these cloths on the Ponds Site:

If you are looking for an acne cleanser that will work and is affordable, this is it. I have used Avon products for many years and will continue for many more. Both my husband and I experience occassional blemish breakouts. I had been using Avon Clearskin for some time and once my husband started using it, it became his favorite. It quickly cleared his acne and using this product every other day helps keep our skin clear. Like many acne products with salicylic acid it will tend to dry your skin, but you don't have to use this product every day for it to keep you face blemish free, I use it every other day and it is still effective.

I have started buying Bath and Body works antibacterial soap, and I will never go back. This soap helps clean dirt and grime off the most dirtiest surfaces, and it smells wonderful too! Definitely stock up when they have their anti bacterial sales- many times these soaps will be either 3 for ten dollars or sometimes even 4 for the same price. They offer a wonderful variety of smells, which will help please everyone. Check especially for seasonal scents such as sweet cinnamon pumpkin or wintery smells around the Christmas holiday to help your family get in the spirit! The soap has special antibacterial beads within it that really allow you to have deep cleansing of your hands and leave with a refreshing smell. This soap also is very moisturizing and will not leave you with dry or itchy hands, which is definitely a bonus. One of my favorites is sun ripened raspberry, and you can even buy refill bottles so that you are not always buying the original dispensers.

I really like this cleanser because it's one that seems like it's not doing much but really is! You have to stick with it a bit and you will see a difference in your skin. Your skin will love you for it. I have oily skin, but can dry out easily. Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel has been a Godsend, their line really works! Particularly where cleansers are concerned, at least. This is really nice going on, it feels like a thick gel and it feels cool and smooth and like your doing something good for your skin. I use it this way: I dampen my face and put it in my palm and rub it in for about a minute. Then I jump in the shower and keep it on till the end when I wash my hair. That gives the enzymes time to work a little bit better and actually exfoliate than just rinsing it off. The steam helps a ton too. Using it like that will really help brighten up your face and even tone! I highly recommended this product, so give it a try!

I'm a big exfoliator. Ever since my teens, when I used to read Clinique ads (in my opinion, the best ad and package copy ever), and learned the considerable virtues of salicylic acid specifically and exfoliation in general, I scrubbed, sloughed and clarified my way through life.

Then menopause hit, and weirdly, made my face all rough. A friend (who meant well, I'm sure...?) commented on one of my pictures, saying "I have a friend with rough skin, too. It comes from certain prescription drugs. Have you looked into that?" Well, thanky kindly, I wanted to say, but I didn't even notice my skin had a problem.

I swallowed my pride and examined the photos again. Well, I'll be; I had grown a little sandpapery. So I decided to step up the exfoliation, but scout around for new methods and products. My favorite resource was YouTube. There, I discovered things like the aspirin mask, which did clear away a lot of the dulling debris (and it's cheap, too!).

I have been using Dr Bronner's peppermint soap since I was in junior high and started becoming very interested in the fate of our world and our affect on it through every day actions like showering or face washing. I ran across Dr Bronner's when getting supplies together for a camping trip and was very excited about the idea of a multi-purpose soap that won't contaminate the ground water when used.

Avon Solutions Completely Clean Anti-Aging Thermal Cleanser is one of my favorite products to use. I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Avon, but I tried this product a couple of years ago and immediately fell in love with it.

I have sensitive skin. Nearly everything breaks me out. At 51, I am still very oily and get pimples and blackheads, though I clean my face several times every day. I originally tried this product because I wanted to see if it really heated up on the face, and I wanted to see if I would be able to use it without breaking out.

I'm happy to say that I've been using this product for about 2 years and I love it! I especially like that it begins to warm in my hands as soon as I squeeze it from the tube. It feels so good on my face, especially when the weather is cold!

This product has helped reduce the blackheads around my nose and it makes my skin look more radiant and youthful. There are ground up seeds or something in this product that make it feel a little...

I just bought Olay Regenerist daily regenrating cleanser in the five fluid ounce size for the first time and am satisfied with this product as a facial cleanser. It exfoliates my skin, which it claims detoxifies and speeds cells natural regenration process. This is all well and good, but I am not quite sure that this facial cleanser is worth the six or seven dollar price tag which goes along with it! It certainly does leave my skin feeling clean and soft, but I don't think any more so then another more inexpensive cleanser would. It is nice that it exfoliates and cleans all in one, but I am really not sold on this product being any better then a less expensive cleanser, and I don't think I would buy Olay Regenerist cleanser again at the price I paid for this tube. Maybe if it was on sale for four or five dollars I would consider purchasing this again, but in my opinion I am just not seeing or feeling results from this product that merrit the price.

I first got introduced to MyChelle when I worked at Whole Foods Market. It has been the best line of facial products that I have tried. Like all MyChelle products, Apple Brightening Cleanser is all natural, not tested on animals, paraben-free, petroleum-free and made with high-quality ingredients.

Although I don't have damaged or hyperpigmented skin, this facial cleanser is good for my dry skin in the cold winter months. My skin feels soft, clean and totally hydrated.

Today I am reviewing Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash. I was lucky enough to get 4 sample bottles of it from the dermatologist. The sample bottles are 1 fluid ounce, so I actually got 4 fluid ounces of product. If I had purchased a bottle to begin with I would have paid around $5, at a discount store, and only received 2 fluid ounces more.

It states that you can use this cleansing wash twice a day, but I use a gentle soap and water in the morning and use the gentle cleansing wash at night. All I do is wet my hands, add a little of the clear gel into them, rub them together, and apply the foam to my face. I leave it on for a short period of time and then wash my face with warm water. That is it.

My face feels really clean and soft.

What Johnson & Johnson say about their product:

Directions: Moisten skin, work cleanser into a lather, apply and gently massage. Rinse throughly."

I take pride in my appearance and am especially proud that I am almost 44 years and can be mistaken for a woman of 34 or younger. My skin is important, so I am always searching for the new thing to keep it clean and fresh. I love DOVE products and have used them since I was a child. I still use DOVE Beauty bar daily in the shower to keep my skin soft and moisturized. I saw this and immediately went out to buy it. I must say I was not as impressed as I hoped to be...The wand did not really do as, much as promised, the pads were nice but they would have worked just as good alone. Seriously, the wand just isn't necessary in my opinion. The wand is battery powered and once turned on, moves back and forth ever so slightly on the skin (it kinda tickles around the nose). This motion is supposed to be able to super clean the skin...You can do the same job without the use of the wand since the wand doesn't' really do much.
