After many years of getting ProActiv every few months in the mail and not being able to use it as fast as it was being shipped, I had to find an alternative. That alternative was AcneFree.

I've been TRYING to be nice to this product for a while. I kept telling myself that I'm probably over-using it, and other days I used to tell myself I'm under-using it...but I'm done making excuses. Skin ID is overpriced, smelly, it makes your skin feel dry and it's definitely not a routine you eagerly want to perform before and after a long day of work. The face-wash feels like butter when you smear it on your face, the acne treatment gel makes your face feel tight, and the moisturizer? It doesn't moisterize! It makes your face like a Raisin!! Seriously? I want to give it one star, but it does kind of work.

I'm saying it 'kind of' works, because I haven't had large, painful pimples since I got the product. However, I got the product for those minimal pesks--blackheads and those small bumpy white heads you can't actually pop, and I've still got them. I routinely use it, yet my goal to beautiful skin has not been achieved :(. Recently I've noticed that the product has been actually bleaching...

i was one of those girls who thought, this is just another consuner trying to take my money. i didn't buy pro active the first time i used it, my friend was moving and forgot hers, so i used it. i couldn't believe how clear my face was after only a week of using pro active. i use the product not only on my face but my whole body, and i couldn't be happier. my skin is so soft and so clear. i have tried almost every acne product on the market, and pro active is the only one that actually worked. if this product was a $100 i would still buy it. i have been using pro active for 5 years now, and i will never stop using. i feel like i have the skin of a movie star.

I have tried MILLIONS of skin care systems such as Proactive, Clean and Clear, Mary Kay, and millions more and my face would still break out (sometimes worse than I started out with). My aunt used to work at Dillard"s and she recommended the Clinique skin care line. I wasn't too thrilled because of the price, but after a couple of weeks my face cleared up 90%! I was so happy! Ever since I have been using Clinique I have had minimal pimples (maybe one every 2 weeks). I now realize that it was worth it to pay a little more for such a good quality product. Every night when I wash my face, it feel fresh because you first use the bar soap, then the liquid astringent, and the the zit medication of which I do not have to use anymore. It is the best thing that has happened to my face and I could not be happier with any other product that I have. Clinique really helped my face out and it is totally worth paying a little extra money for.

i really like this product, i have very oily skin and this product doesnt make it dry one bit. it makes ur skin feel smooth as well as get rid of acne, ive been useing this product for about 3 months now and my face feels like it has been buffered. ive tried other noxzema products but this one also has a nice smell as well. i use it twice a day, morning and night. the smell is like a fresh smell if u know what i mean not like a medicated product which doesnt smell very good. i dont use make up at all so i have to make my face look as presentable as i can, i like to be natural because sometimes women go way over board with the make up & look like clowns. but overall this product get an a+ from me. i recommend you try this product if u enjoy looking beautiful. i jus cant stand wakin up and my face looks like i put a jar of cooking grease on my face but this product does the trick for that.

When I first tried retin a it began to clear my acne within four weeks. I used it for roughly one year. After about six months of usage, the results began to decline, and the acne returned. I tried over the counter acne brands for a while, such as perricone, ddf, acne-free, etc. After a couple of years, I went to another dermatologist. She prescribed retin-a. I decoded to give it another try. This time, it only moderately cleared my acne after four to six weeks. Then, not only did the acne begin to return, but it irritated my skin and caused hyperpigmentation. I discontinued using retin a forever. I am 41 years old, and have been battling moderate acne since I was twent-fouryears old. I gave retin-a a three star review because it works for some people. Clean & clear has worked well for me. The product is easy to use with no mixing or waiting

I share this product with my pre-teen daughter and it works nicely for the both of us.

Clean & Clear works well on oily and even dry for spot areas for a quick overnight clear up.

I have had acne-and this item has worked as quick as overnight for me.

The only downfall is if you have a open or sensitive skin this product burns and tingles.

The price is good for a product that works. I would recommend this item to a friend.

I saw a commercial a while back - I can't even remember if it was on TV or in a magazine ad or newspaper insert. I just remember it had the little blue jar of cream just like what I used in middle and high school, and it basically said hey, this is the original, you don't need to pay a ton of money for cleansers or the 'latest' thing when this works just fine. I thought about that and realized it made a whole lot of sense. A regular sized jar is only about $4.00. I started using it in the shower every morning and it did just as good a job as the expensive creams. I'm not a fan of that menthol smell, but it does cleanse your face pretty well. I don't have acne, but I do have combination skin (oily and dry) and large pores. You will need to use a moisturizer along with it because it does dry out your skin, but aside from that it's still a good product like it was 20 years ago.

Mario Badescu Pink Drying Lotion does just what it says. It dries up your acne overnight. It is better than the other name brands as far as super quick results go. I would pay good money for this pink liquid in a glass bottle. And it is sanitary because you don't keep dipping the same Q-tip in the bottle more than one time. After that you discard the Q-tip, now that is something we need in this day and age so we don't spread bad bacteria germs. Also it looks cool when you wake up in the morning it kind of disappears off your face overnight and when you look in the mirror in the morning the pimple looks as if it completely disappears but after you wash your face you only see a slight tinge of pink acne already clearing up which then takes about two or three more nights of treatment and then most of the time depending on the size of the pimple it disappears like magic. I would recommend this product for mild acne, but if acne is severe please see a dermatologist for treatment....

I am not reviewing this product from my own experiences but from the experiences of two of my family members. Both family members used this product in the eighties as an acne solution. The first member, had terrible acne and came out with great results in the end. Likewise, so did the other one. But a matter of 10-15 years later, the major side affects occured. One member was faced with a terrible disease called Psuedotumor cerebri. This gives a person all the affects of having a fake brain tumor. My family member suffered with this the entire summer of 2005 . This disease was later found that it was actually listed as a side affect on the Accutane website, although they say its not likely, it was very persistent in my family member.

On the other hand my other family member also took it, and their acne cleared, but about 10 years later, they were faced with a Colon disorder, which was also listed as a major side affect of Accutane. She later had to have her...

Proactive 3 step system is a good quality product. However, it does not perform absolute miracles, like it seems to imply in the commercials.

I bought it for myself, but my 14 year old daughter ended up using it instead. I think we expected more from the product than it gave, simply because we have seen so many commercials about it being practically a miracle worker for acne.

My daughter has moderate acne, sometimes severe. She began using Proactive, and was a little disappointed that her acne didn't clear up swiftly and magically. I told her to give it a few weeks - that it takes time. After a few weeks, her acne was better, but not cleared up. She was disappointed that it did not clear her face better than it did, and give the flawless results we both have seen in the commercials for this product. It certainly did help her acne, but it did not completely clear her skin.

I also had problems with delivery and billing. Originally, after waiting the usual time it takes...

The oil of olay cleansing pads are easy to use, you just wet them and lather it together to release the soap. They cleanse your skin and give your skin a soft tone and smooth feeling. They are easy to find in almost any store, and they are resonably priced. There are many different types of cleansing pads offered depending on your skin type. I am usually not a fan of cleansing pads because I never felt that they did a very good job cleaning my skin, but oil of olay cleansing pads leave my skin feeling great. I can tell the difference right away.

I did not receive a large enough sample to really make a good judgment about the product. It was a tiny vial. The product seemed to be doing some good for my face but I ran out before it totally cleared my skin. I got to use it for a few days. The only complaint I have is that the product did not deliver overnight or immediate results. It works I don't have the worst acne but I like to look my best and I have been using this for 3 days and already I have like no red pimples it makes my skin feel light and fluffy. I Have tried everything from home reminds to store bought products can't afford the expensive $40 cleanses so this is a good back up when i break out or just want to feel nice. I really can't recommend the product because the free sample was not enough to tell how well the product works.

When i tried the Equate blackhead clearing scrub, my face cleared up. This stuff really works! I tried many acne products and nothing worked like this has. The equate blackhead clearing scrub is compared to the Clean&Clear blackhead scrub but, i think it works better than clean and clear brand. I use this equate blackhead scrub twice a day and it not only clears up my nasty blackheads, it gets rid of regular acne as well. It works in more ways than one and i would recommend it to anyone with bad acne and those horrible blackheads. My face used to look horrible, but i started using Equate and it solved everything. Equate has cleared up my face and solved my problems. It has made my self-esteem go up and i have gotten a boyfriend and i have Equate to thank. This stuff has cleared my face and saved my teenage life. Everything other acne product has not worked but this really works. I will continue to use Equate for as long as i have acne and blackheads. This really works, Believe me.

I have bought this product for my sister as a Christmas gift. Well, she has been having problems with acne for a few years not and she has tried other products such as clean & clear, store brand, noxema, just regular bar soaps, but none have worked. When she started using this product, it started clearing up her acne within a week. She really enjoyed this product and it made her feel very good about herself. She now buys this product all the time. Her body is still clear and free of acne. I would definetely recommend this product to others with bad acne. It is very friendly and the price is very affordable. It does not try your face out nor make your acne worse. It is easy to use and has very easy instructions on the back of the bottle. The smell of this product is suprisingly sweet and it does not smell like some acne treatment products. The Neutrogena 8 hour acne spot treatment gel is absolutely amazing, if you have a blemish just dab a little bit on the problem area and the blemish will start reducing in redness and size in just hours! Or if you see a blemish before you go to sleep wash your face, use your moisterizer if you use one then just dab on the acne spots and they will be clared up the next morning! Only if the spot is really a larger blemish the gel will most likely bring the pimple to a head and make it alot easier to deal with in the morning!!! I definitely recommend this product to anyone who gets blemishes! this product is the best spot treatment I have ever seen!!!! It really is a great product esspecially for the money!!...

this product is awsome my face is clean of all make up as soon as i apply ans massage into my skin. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean. I never have to worry about my face breaking out when using this product. It can be used for all different types of skin from dry to oily whatever your skin is is brings out the natural oils that your body produces on its own.

I needed something to clean my face to get all the eye makeup off i have litterally tried every thing that i could think of it is also used to prevent wrinkles.

This is a spot treatment type of oil that comes in a tiny green jar. I've found that the best way to apply this tea tree oil is with a q-tip style cotton bud. Just tip the jar a little and get the tip a little damp; there is a mechanism to keep it from flowing out too fast. Then just dab a little on the blemish. The little jar lasts quite a bit longer than I usually expect it to; a little goes a long way. I like the cooling effect that it seems to have on some of the angrier spots. It's not greasy like a normal type of oil and doesn't leave a residue as I expected it would. Since tea tree oil is an anti-bacterial, it's also good to put on cuts and scrapes or to treat the open places after popping a white head or removing black heads. While this doesn't have the "overnight" effect that some products advertise, I've found that it absolutely does shorten the duration of blemishes especially the deeper cystic type of acne.

I love this stuff! One thing I didn't expect to find using this night gel was that it treats pimples really well. Not only does it hydrate and firm my skin at the same time, it dries up pimples dead in their tracks! If I start to feel one forming, I make sure I use this at night and it is considerably less in size by the a.m. I am only using a trial size but plan on finding it in the normal size soon. i can't imagine not using this every night. It soaks in, but hydrates and firms too. It's incredible.
