Mario Badescu products work well on my combination skin. The Mario Badescu Drying Cream can be used on acne, or as a topical overnight treatment for pimples. It works like magic. Zap and your pimple will be gone in the morning. I generally apply this on troubled spots before going to bed because you will look like you rubbed toothpaste on yourself.

Aside from the odd old rubbery car tire smell, this product is simply amazing. Particularly useful for emergencies as it gets rid of pimples and fast, getting you ready for events and photographs. How it works is: First, I dab it on pimple(s), rub it in slightly. Second, get my beauty sleep. And alas, I wake up looking like a mess, but once I flick off the dried up pimple, wash my face, and prime it for makeup, I feel gorgeous again, thanks to Mario Badescu's drying cream. This funny smelling gunk really desiccates those nasty zits, making your skin smooth and beautiful once again. Highly recommended! Go destroy those dastardly pimples!

I have been using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash for years!! It works great with my skin, and I know I can count on it to keep my face looking great.

My face is oily in the T zone and I tend to break out in these areas if I do not use my Neutrogena face wash. When I wash my face with this product it makes my face feel really good. My skin feels very refreshed and clean after washing with Neutrogena.

Anytime I get a little stressed out and my skin breaks out I can count on Neutrogena to clear it up for me.

The only negative I have to say about this product is that it tends to make my nose dry and peel. I have to exfoliate pretty regularly but I guess it's good for me to do that to keep the dead skin cells off my skin. I use a pretty good moisturing lotion for my face also and that helps. It's usually worse in the winter time because of the dry weather and from the heat in the car and house, in the summer time my nose doesn't peel at all.

I have tried many acne products through out my life with many different results. I came across a $5 coupon for Clean & Clear Acne Treatment System about 3 years ago and decided to give it a try and am glad I did.

You can purchase many different Clean & Clear products, but Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser is the one that works for me. It is like a cream, but works into a lather. This product contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, which if used too much can dry out the skin. I use this product twice daily, any more makes my face too dry. Be careful not to get it on other parts of your body that does not need it, can cause irritation. This product can also discolor your clothes.

Has a smell that is light and not overpowering like many other acne medications, but you can feel it working when you use it. May not be able to smell it work, but can feel it! Gives your skin a clean and refreshed feeling.

It is recommended that one use a moisturizer with the face cleanser and I use the...

I bought this scrub two weeks ago. I use it twice a day every day. I have seen really great results. My face is starting to look the way I would like it too. My skin looks smooth and cleaner.

I still have blackheads but not near as many as I did have. Slowly but surely I think this scrub will remove them all and help them stay gone. I have never had a scrub work so well. Instead of it breaking my skin out the blackheads are just gone. That is the best part. Usually when I use something to help with the blackheads my skin goes crazy and I break out everywhere but not with this product. I haven't had any break outs the whole time I have been using this product. I will continue to use this product!

I think this product is the best and anyone who has skin issues like mine will love it also. I cannot find anything wrong with this porduct and I would recommend it to anyone. Also it is worth the price!

I was recently given the chance to try out Burt's Bees' new line of natural acne solutions! Bzzagent sent me a bottle of Burt's Bee's new purifying gel cleanser, which is very light and washes off very easily.I've been a fan of burt's bees products for years. The natural aspect is one of the stand out reasons, and also because they're reasonably priced and work well. I've had problems with acne for years, mostly cystic, and now if it's going to happen, it's usually around that 'time of the month' when my hormones are off their rocker.

This cleanser was thinner in consistency then expected, more just liquid then a gel. But it smells amazing -- lemony -- and it has a nice lather and leaves the skin feeling great. It doesn't feel drying or like it stripped my skin bare like a lot of acne products can. Actually pretty moisturizing, as I don't feel the need to add a moisturizer like I usually would after washing my face.

I like using a combo of products with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide....

I tend to have breakouts and about a month ago it got really bad and nothing I used really works and it was stressing me out really bad so I started using proactive and it worked really well but made me skin so dry and make my makeup look so cakey. Then I ordered samples of the Mario Badescu Drying Cream and decided to try it out first. I've been using a skin care routine for a week and I can see a huge difference in my skin. I put on my regular toner first then I use the healing cream and then my regular Jojoba oil as my moisturizer for combination skin, then I use the drying cream on my white heads, and this works so well! I tend to break out along my jaw line and this cream work beautifully to minimize it the following day. And surprisingly the cream does not dry my skin out that much at all. Maybe because my moisturizer is good. But on days that I wear makeup I use the cream as a concealer and it works awesome to conceal blemishes. I love that fact that it does not...

Purchased this for my oldest daughter when she was suffering a very bad case of acne breakout, but was sorely disappointed in the outcome for the price. I felt that it really was not all that it was promised to be. I thought that it worked ok, but then it worked just as well as most other systems worked if you had them to follow through with on a day to day basis. Previous to this breakout she had only been treating acne when it broke out. So after this very bad breakout and this really expensive lesson we just went to our local drug store and found a similar system that worked just as well and was about half of the cost of the Pro Active system. I mean really it is somewhat disappointing to find out that lesson after overpaying for this system. I know that she managed to show several of her friends the same thing, but they just don't believe that the cheaper product will work, so I guess it is their business if they want to continue overpaying for a product that is the same...

I have used neutrogena face wash religiously. For many years, I have tried other face washes that treat acne, and I always come back to the neutrogena brand. Love the pump bottle. Easy and quick to use. Leaves face feeling clean and smooth, not overdrying. Cleanses dirt and makeup effectively. I think maybe that is why guys use it too? It is super convenient.. Well they have released a pink grapefruit facial cleanser with all the same benefits as the regular cleanser, except this smells strongly yummy! It has 100% naturally derived grapefruit extract. The smell is truly uplifting, great for a wake me up in the morning. It is beneficial for acne prone skin too. It is for blemishes and bleakhead treatment. This clears breakouts with its salicylic acid acne treatment. It truly cleans without overdrying, which means it can be used daily with out worrying about it causing more breakouts due to overdrying the skin.

I just have always loved this product! I used to use it many years ago and then went away from it and started using more expensive brands trying to see if they would work better and get better results, but they didn't so then I have found my way back to the same old favorite again! I just can't say enough about it, My favorite is the apricot scrub, it is so nice! I love the fresh scent and just really love the way my skin feels fresh and clean after I wash up with the scrub. The product has also became a favorite with both of my daughters, I have a college freshman, and a middle school aged daughter, and they also love it, so now a whole new generation of my family has come to love the great St Ives Fresh scent and the way it makes their skin feel so clean and fresh! So there are now three of us in our family that can't seem to think of enough great things to say about the great products that St. Ives offers, the facial scrub just happens to be our favorite.

I am one of those people that has had minor acne, but thinks it to be serious acne. I have tried alot of different creams, washes, toners, 3 step systems... etc. I even went to my doctor, so i could get a professional opinion. He reccomened a product called Benoxyl. I went to the pharmacy, and found out that that product was very expensive, but that they had a product thats was very simular. That product was called Penoxyl. So, i decided to try it.

At first, i was impressed because it reduced the size of my pimples in just a few days. However, it also dried my face out. It was especially dry in areas around my mouth, by my chin. Determined not to give up on yet another acne treatment, i started using a high quality mousturizor, which i thought would combat the dryness. However, it just made my skin oily. Therefore, it is definetely not worth it to buy a soap bar like Panoxyl thats is very drying, and just hope to match it with a mousturizor.

I decided to try out the neutrogena oil free acne wash because lately I have been breaking out on the top of my cheeks, my chin, and my nose. I chose this product because it is oil free residue free and does not clog pores. I bought it to try and clean up my face because I thought by now I 'd be past acne. I have used this product for a while it works alright but I don't think that it is the completely right product for my face. My problem with it though is that when I use it , it make my face feel dry and almost tight, so even though it clears up most of my acne I don't use it as often i should because it bothers me because my face has always been really sesnsitive. I think because I did not use it as fully as I was suppossed to it caused me to still get break outs they just wern't as bad as previous times. I think that if I had less senstive skin that it would have been a better fit for me.

I used to see people with these and i thought i was for people who had like really gross nasty greasy faces. So i never tried them for years.... until finally a friend gave me one to try. Firstly, you know its working, the sheet gets noticeably darker when it soaks up that oil. Even places i didnt think had oil, it would soak it up and show a dark spot on the sheet. I am here to write a review about Burt's Bees all new acne spot treatment. Now I do not have major acne,, but I do get an occasional DEEP pimple. This product is an all natural treatment all I do is wash my face and dap a drop on the pimple. The main ingredient is Willow bark extract, it has natural acids that unplog pores and naturally exfoliates the skin. After I put the drop on I notice right away the smell a little strong at first but it smells good at least. After an hour I notice the pimple has slightly reduced in size and is no longer super red. I like the fact this product is not like all the other pimple spot treatments in the way that my skin doesn't automatically start peeling five minutes after the treatment is done. Also even though it has a price tag of $10 the bottle is large enough for MANY treatments because all you really need is one to two drops per treatment. Let me first start by saying that I LOVE Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals products. I use their spf 15 foundation, faux tan (instead of warmth or glee) and the mineral veil every single day for the last 5 years. I was very excited to try the Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy kit, but I must say that I wasted my time and money on this one.

I do not have a great deal of acne, you can consider it either moderate or perhaps even slightly moderate, moderate light acne, but this products gave me acne and more pimples than I had gotten at my peek in middle school. Using this product certainly without a doubt increase the number and size of the pimples on my face and it made me look and feel terrible.

Based on the reviews on this site, it would seem that I am in the minority, but I caution you if you do not have above moderate acne, this may give you even more acne or pimples than you had bargained for.

I love Bare Escentuals, but this product is a huge disappointment!

I am someone who has had moderate acne since about the 6th grade. I have tried many, many products that claim to be miracle workers when it comes to clearing up acne, even some very expensive ones, but none of them did much for my moderate acne. I decided to try the 3 piece Neutrogena Advanced Soultions Acne Therapy Treatment Kit and I can tell you that it does great things for my skin. I can also tell you that now I only get a few pimples here and there, but none that are too large (or painful) or that last very long.

This product has 3 steps (and 3 products in it)

The first product (step) is the face wash, which is my favorite part. It is effective in cleaning and killing off the bacteria that form and cause the pimples. It is also a great exfoliator and leaves my skin feeling smooth.

The 2nd product is the acne cream that you apply morning and night. This works to fight and prevent the acne.

The 3rd product (which I personally do not use) is just an spf-15 face cream. Personally...

I have always had problems with acne, especially around my chin and nose. This product works on both blackheads and regular acne. You just dab a little on the spots that are troubling you and they are gone within a day or two. There is not very much fragrance and it is not a heavy cream. You can dab it on and head out the door and no one knows that it is there! I have had it clear up trouble spots overnight! It has been known to sting sometimes but it is not anything that would make me stop using it. I think this works better than the Clearasil and other products that are on the market and it is all natural. That is the characteristic that is really important to me. The other products that are out there dry out my dry skin even more and make it look worse. This does not. It attacks the trouble spots and does not dry them out and leaves your skin feeling better than it started. I would highly recommend this to anyone with trouble skin. I even let my teenagers use it and they love it!
