This is the best overall lotion that I have tried so far. It smells wonderful and is not too sticky when applied. But most importantly, it hydrates very well! I have used many other products such as burts bees (hand cream and lotion), palmer's, jergens, st. ives, vaseline and aveeno. In terms of smell, I only like this gold bond lotion, the almond hand cream from burt's bees and the st. ives lotion. All the other lotions have really irritating smells. Actually, I'm the type of person that would prefer no smell of fresh/clean smells like head and shoulder shampoo and lever 2000 soap. So if you like those types of scents then give this gold bond lotion a try!!! Oh, and out of the ones listed above where I liked the scent, the gold bond lotion was the only one that hydrated properly. For st. ives, i would hydrate in the morning and when i washed my hands before and after lunch i would notice that they'd be back to their rough, dry state.

This is a very pricey, expensive cream. BUT!! you only need one night cream in your regimen so you might as well buy a good one. This works very well, its thick and rich but does not clog my pores. smells very nice, and not too strongly. I would suggest getting a medium sized container. If you get a really small one, you're not getting your money's worth. But if you get the super-large one, it might grow bacteria after a while.

I have also tried the new SKII ultimate cream (not sure what its called exactly, it comes in the gold container and retails for about $330). Thats also a really good cream, I think though that it applies more to older people who would like an anti-aging effect. Whereas the la mer cream can be used by all skin types. Price-wise I'd say la mer is a little cheaper, but then again it all depends on how much cream you use per application. Its a good investment for skincare. Much much MUCH better than the hope in a jar from philosophy.

I have been using this cleansing oil product for 4 years now. During that time, I experimented briefly with cleansing oils from MAC, Shu Uemura, Shiseido and Fancl. Overall, I think the DHC deep cleansing oil is still the best because of price and quality. Firstly, I thought that fancl, Shiseido and Shu Uemura were not as good in terms of performance. That is, they did not clean as well as DHC. I was especially disappointed with the Shu Uemura purchase because it was so pricey and still performed substandard to the cheaper DHC.
The MAC cleanser was great, it cleaned just as well as DHC in my opinion. However, it is not as thick so you have to use more of it per wash. Therefore, it runs out a lot faster than DHC, plus the bottles are only 150ml VS DHC's 200ml. Also, I liked how DHC is basically scentless, I just feel better knowing that they're putting as few chemicals in as necessary.

This is a great product for those who like feeling squeaky clean and fresh. I used to use Dove but felt like it did not really wash off all the dirt accumulated throughout the day. Plus it felt like it left a film-like coat of residue on my skin. I have been so happy with lever 2000 after switching from dove. It smells very clean and fresh. I think it markets more towards men than women, but I find no problem using it even though I'm female. It does not dry out my skin or anything.
Also, it does not "melt" like other soaps. That is, the bar stays firm even if i get it half-soaked with water in my soap dish. The color is a little off-putting, since it is a rather bright blue. But I dont think that this should be harmful in any way. I would not reccommend using it to wash the face however because it can be drying and also, bar soaps tend to clog the pores moreso than form or cream cleansers.

I have used it for several years now and it has kept my skin soft and firm. Personally I use the day cream day and night as it seems to be just the right balance to keep my skin radiant and avoid breakouts. It has a regular price of about $22.00, but Avon frequently has specials on this item. However, even at the regular price it is well worth the expense. Just apply to a clean face and then apply your make up like usual. Your make up will go on smoothly and your face and neck are protected all day long. It is also SPF 15 so you will be protected against the harmful aging sun rays as well as keeping your skin hydrated.

I bought Neutrogena's Age Shield hand cream with SPF 30 after a friend recommended Neutrogena's hand cream. I opted for the version with SPF because I have a higher risk of skin cancer than the average person. I thought I could moisturize while protecting my hands from aging sun rays. I was not impressed and I will not buy this product again.

The moisturizing effects of this hand cream are so-so. It feels more like a sunblock on my hands than a moisturizing hand cream. If you put it on your hands, be sure you don't touch your face afterward. It is too harsh for the face, and it feels greasy. After touching my cheeks, they were reddened.

The worst feature of this hand cream is the smell. It is scented, but it still smells strongly like sunscreen. The fragrance is awful. I wish this hand cream came in an unscented version. If it did, I would possibly consider it again. I also wish it left a smooth feeling on your hands, rather than a coated, thick feeling.

Not bad for the price. DHC products are usually impressive, and this one is among my favorites. I don't think this worked much on my fine lines, but maybe it's too early to tell. The Q10 cream is overall a good face cream, and affordable too. It also contains Q10, is nearly scentless, easy to put on--not too heavy or too light. I recommend just about any DHC product, especially this, more for prevention purpose than corrective. This cream moisturizes very well. In the morning my face feels so smooth and softer than the night prior. With continued use, I believe this product has great potential, even though the improvements may not be apparent at first. Taking care of your skin is very important, and starting early prevents early signs of aging. This product has a lot of beneficial ingredients and anti-aging properties to make it a fabulous contestant among numerous other anti-aging creams.

I first came across the MAC Make Up Remover Wipes at a MAC store. I went to the store to try on make up, and had to remove what was on my face before I started. They brought out the plastic pack, with the hard oval enclosure (brilliant for keeping the wipes moist from the first wipe to the last wipe in the package). Having sensitive skin I am careful about what I use on my face. The make-up artist (all of the people who work at MAC stores are artists, make-up as well as a few traditional artists) promised me that the wipe was mild enough to protect my skin, but effective enough to remove the make up.

She was correct. I used several wipes that day all over my face, including my lips. I did not break out, and the bright vibrant colors I was playing with were removed completly before I ventured into a different look.

MAC describes their wipes as:

Since I work out in the middle of the day during the work week, I like to have facial cloth to use before my work out to remove makeup. I picked up the Ponds Cleansing Towelettes to keep in my gym bag.

It is important to me that before I start working out that my face feel clean. I am not as concerned with moisturizing before a work out because I sweat a lot, and I always do a very thorough cleaning post work out. But I have found that if I dont clean off the makeup before a work out I regret it later due to breakouts and melted makeup.

When I read the description of these cloths on the Ponds Site:

Mario Badescu products work well on my combination skin. The Mario Badescu Drying Cream can be used on acne, or as a topical overnight treatment for pimples. It works like magic. Zap and your pimple will be gone in the morning. I generally apply this on troubled spots before going to bed because you will look like you rubbed toothpaste on yourself.

Aside from the odd old rubbery car tire smell, this product is simply amazing. Particularly useful for emergencies as it gets rid of pimples and fast, getting you ready for events and photographs. How it works is: First, I dab it on pimple(s), rub it in slightly. Second, get my beauty sleep. And alas, I wake up looking like a mess, but once I flick off the dried up pimple, wash my face, and prime it for makeup, I feel gorgeous again, thanks to Mario Badescu's drying cream. Let me start off by saying that sensitive skin runs in my family. Everything from exzema to psoriasis to rosacea. My skin is sensitive of everything (self tanner and perfumes mostly) - I started getting an itchy "rash" on my hand that would get worse if I did any cleaning (using chemicals without gloves) I tried just about every lotion you could buy at the store but nothing would relieve this patch or if I did find something that seemed to moisturize pretty well - it ended up being SO GREASY that I wouldn't put it on because I hated the slimy feeling!. My sister told me to try the Gold Bold Lotions. I tried Gold Bond Ultimate Healing first and was instantly hooked! It moisturizes great and don't leave your skin feeling oily. It has a great clean smell and really penetrates into the skin - my exzema hasn't come back on my hand since..... I'm not trading this stuff for anything! You should try it!

I have been using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash for years!! It works great with my skin, and I know I can count on it to keep my face looking great.

My face is oily in the T zone and I tend to break out in these areas if I do not use my Neutrogena face wash. When I wash my face with this product it makes my face feel really good. My skin feels very refreshed and clean after washing with Neutrogena.

Anytime I get a little stressed out and my skin breaks out I can count on Neutrogena to clear it up for me.

The only negative I have to say about this product is that it tends to make my nose dry and peel. I have to exfoliate pretty regularly but I guess it's good for me to do that to keep the dead skin cells off my skin. I use a pretty good moisturing lotion for my face also and that helps. It's usually worse in the winter time because of the dry weather and from the heat in the car and house, in the summer time my nose doesn't peel at all.

I would definitely recommend this product...

I received a 1 ounce sample of this Olay Pro-x Wrinkle Smoothing Cream and it really lives up to its name. I think this is the only drugstore brand I can think of that delivers above and beyond the quality of your average department store brand. The price is about forty dollars for a Pro-x product, but don't worry, your money won't be wasted. It's far cheaper than most anti-wrinkle creams, and more effective. Day one of using this cream, I already noticed that the appearance of the slight wrinkles on my forehead becoming less harsh. Even for someone without wrinkles that need smoothing, this cream still works great for making skin soft and smooth. After about a week, my face is significantly smoother, more even, and softer to the touch. My blemishes also went away. The cream goes on light, but feels more like a heavier cream. Very moisturizing, but not greasy. There's no irritating scent. In fact, this cream is almost scentless. Most effective product for its price. Try it.

L'OREAL Age Perfect is very unique. It's a cream cleanser that sticks to your face when you rinse it off. It makes your face feel clean and smooth. After you use it,your face feels so moisturized you don't need moisturizer. I have never used anything like it.I tend not to buy face products unless I have a coupon(I had a $2.00 coupon). I highly recommend this product to anyone with dry or problem skin like myself. After two days you'll start to see and feel the difference....

I have been using Olay's Pro X wrinkle smoothing cream for about four weeks. The cream goes on smooth and feels good but it is a little greasy. It seems to absorb well into my skin and works as a sunscreen also. I don't care for the fragrance. It smells more of a medicine scent to me. I have sensitive skin and Rosacea but luckly I haven't had any problems with breakouts. As far as seeing any reduction in winkles, I have not seen any. My main problem is the line between my eyes and some wrinkles under my eyes. Perhaps it might be my age at this point (I'm fifty) but the product doesn't seem to work well for me. But I plan to continue with the product for at least another four weeks. The product is pricey too. I have read that younger women will see some benefit in reducing the appearance of fine lines and it does nothing for deeper winkles. One thing I also found unfortunate is that the containers are not recyclable.

This is great stuff. Everyone should have this in their bathroom. My boyfriend steals uses from this, and I KNOW because I can smell it on him. :) I disliked every Avon products I've tried, except for the original Skin So Soft bath oil products. Just a little of this stuff goes a long way. The scent is on the strong side, and lingers long after, which I personally like. The scent, which smells musky and incense-y smells incredibly good, and even better once it fades throughout the day. The oil also really moisturizes your skin without causing any breakouts. In the bottle, the product looks like clear liquid, and when added to water, it makes the water feel very soft and soothing to the skin. Perfect product for people that get dry skin during the winter, like myself, or for people that have dry skin all the time, or for chronic bathers, or for people that just enjoy a good, relaxing bath. And for lazy people that don't like applying lotion, this stuff will take care of dry skin.

I recieved some samles of L'oreal revitalift and tried it for eight (8) weeks. I was very skeptical of the product (which was a day cream with spf and a night serum) going in because I had never used an antiaging product due to the belief they did nothing for the problem. After two weeks of use, I found out I was very wrong. I noticed a significant difference. I took pictures to prove to myself that this stuff was for real. Two weeks later and four weeks into using L'oreal revitalift , I noticed a major difference in the lines on my face. The lines between my brows were all but disappearing. The "smile" lines I developed were beginning to fade. I was a true believer. Eight (8) weeks later, I took more pictures. The before mentioned lines were faded even more.
