geraldif says "Switch to Gillette Fusion for good" about Gillette Fusion Manual Razor

My initial (cynical) expectation from the Gillette Fusion razor that it was overly hyped new avatar of the Mach 3 razor to allow higher prices and would be very similar to the Mach3. In fact, the only reason I bought it was because there was a CVS pharmacy deal on it, which made it cheaper than all the other branded razors on the market. After using one razor for the last 3 months, I am convinced I was wrong.

At the time, this was the first 5 blade razor on the market. The 5 blades truly give a smoother and closer shave. Since the regular blades are typically too wide to fit in less accessible areas like under-nose hair and around sideburns, Gillette has added a 6th blade at the back as a trimmer, which I find even more useful than the blades itself. More densely packed microfins under the blade seem to make the hair stand up for a better shave.

Shaving results have been excellent with no irritation or cuts even with a 3 month old blade. I have never had a blade give me such good...
...

sherbzzzzz says "Love the Venus Vibrance - left me feeling SO smooth!" about Venus Venus Vibrance Soothing Vibrations Razor

This was one of the best razors I have ever used! The vibration makes the hair stick up so that the blade can cut it right where it begins. This leaves your skin feeling so smooth! I usually get a "5 o'clock" shadow, but with this razor it didn't happen. I was excited! There are moisture strips that help with dry skin - NO gross dry skin! That is what I want from everything I use in my beauty routine. The razor head also lasts longer than most other blades I have used - which helps save money! I only replace it every 1 to 2 weeks depending on how often I use it. I have very thick hair too, so if yours is thinner, you may even be able to go longer! Even though it uses a battery, I have never had to replace it and it seems like it vibrates like the day I opened it up. I recommend this product to anyone and everyone! Get this and you will not be disappointed. Your legs will be smooth, moisturized and you will never go back to your old razor.
...

debishults says "My Venus shaver is irreplacable" about Venus Breeze

I bought my first Venus replacable head shaver about 6 years ago and have not looked back. The razor is easy to hold onto and is easy on the areas you are shaving including the hard areas around your ankles and knees. I rarely cut myself with this razor and when I have it is because I was rushing and it was a tiny little knick. Since I got my first Venus razor I have gone on to purchase a Venus Breeze razor that came with a shower and replacment head holder. Although the replacement razor heads are pricey I have found that they last much longer than any disposable razor with virtually no knicks and definately no cuts. I think the Venus Breeze razor should be a must have for any woman. I think you will find the value and the quality to be superior. I hope to see in the near future the vibrating Venus Razor in the future. In my opinion, that is the only improvement that I could see would improve the now awesome product.
...

Susie-34668 says "Gillette Fusion Hydragel is soft and gentle even for a woman" about Gillette Fusion Hydragel Moisturizing Shave Gel with Aloe and Cocoa Butter

We received a 2.5 ounce (7.1g) size Gillette Fusion Hydragel, in a bag of goodies, when we were staying at a hotel. Even though it is a product for a man, I tried it and liked it so much, that I kept it for myself.

It comes in an orange/gold shiny looking can with a press down top.

I shave my legs every 2 to 3 days and this is such a handy size to use.

All I do is wet the areas I want to shave and then spray some of the light blue gel onto the area. I then spread it over the area, and get a great lather.

I use either a disposable razor or one of the ones that you buy new cartridges for. The shaver takes the lather and the hairs away, and just glides over my legs, under my arms, or my bikini area. It is really gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky.

This product is for sensitive skin and it is so true. It contains Aloe and cocoa butter which are excellent for your skin.

Even though I am a woman, I have no problems going into a store and buying it for myself. This is...
...

I have tried several women's razors that are available out there in the marketplace. I still haven't found one I like. However, while on a cruise with my husband. I forgot my razor and I had to be in line for the excursian I signed up for at 7am. Non of the stores on the boat that carried razors were open that early. So, I had to use my husbands razor. The razor was a Gillette Fusion. I loved it sooo much. It seemed like it got all the hair the first time and I didn't need to go over the area again. I also noticed I didn't nick myself. This is a common problem with Women's razors I've purchased in the past. The end result, I went out the next day and bought one for myself. Since my purchase, I have been telling my girlfriends about the Gillette Fusion and to my amazement alot of them were already using there husbands Gillette Fusion Razor. I will continue to use my Men's Gillette razor until there is a women's razor that works just as good.
...

Hello, my name is Jimmy. I just have to share something with you that is sure to change the way you think about razors forever! Have'nt tried the Gillette Mach 3 yet? Boy are you missing out! I have had the same exact razor now for over a year, and it still cuts as good as the day I bought it! When I first heard Clark Howard say that he has had the same razor for several years now, my first impression was..."Are you insane dude?" I must say, he was right. Although he was reffering to a cheeper brand, still what he said was the truth! I am a believer now! You may be asking yourself the same thing that I did "Can this really be true?" I am here to challenge you right now...Take the challenge, you will not regret it! I shave a little bit different probably than most folks do. I never use shaving cream! Not that I am against it or anything, I just don't see the need in it. What I do, is get a wash rag as hot as I can stand it, without irritating my skin and I hold it to my face for about 20...
...

Electric razors offer some distinct advantages when compared to shaving with a manual razor. They offer convenience and speed, without the need for shaving cream, hot water, or anything else. However, electric razors often do not provide a very close shave and some are prone to irritate the skin. One electric razor that helps to resolve these and other problems is the Philips Norelco Nivea Razor, Model HS8420.

Razor Commentary:

The Philips Norelco Nivea Razor Model HS8420 is similar to other electric razors in several ways. This razor is rechargeable and it cuts facial hair by running the heads over the skin. The razor has about three dozen small blades that are hidden beneath a thin metal shield that protects the skin from the spinning blades.

This electric razor is a wet/dry razor, which is nothing new, but what sets it apart from most other electric razors is the Nivea conditioner that is dispensed as you shave. This conditioner is loaded into the razor by inserting the tip of...
...

beth0407 says "One of my favorite razors" about Schick Intuition Plus

I have used the Shick Intuition razors for a few years now. The first thing I realized about Schick Intuition that was different that I loved was the moisturizing shave bar around the blades. With this bar you no longer have to use shaving cream that can wash off easily when the shower hits your legs. Because of this "shaving cream bar" as I like to call it, I no longer end up with constant nicks and cuts all over my legs after shaving. The second thing that is great about this bar is that it's always easy to find refills. And the third thing that's great about Schick Intuition is that it's design makes it easier to hold in the shower. When you're dripping wet and bending down to try and shave, the last thing you want to do is fumble around with a skinny disposable that can easily drop out of your hand. The contoured design and thicker handle of Shick Intuition prevents that from becoming a problem.
...

Ok so I might be a little different then most guys because I shave in the shower and don't use any gel or shaving cream. However I still like a smooth shave that doesn't hurt. I have found tha the Mach 3 works really well for me because it has a small strip in front of the blades that apply some gel or something before the hair is cut. The problem is that this strip doesn't last too long. I have a fairly thick beard so I have to shave every day and I'd say these razors last about a week before that strip starts to fade out. I can usually stretch the razor out to 2 weeks, but after that its not even close to the same as the first day of use. The replacement blades are not cheap either. A good deal in the stores where I live is 3 for $10. So all in all is this better then a disposable razor - yes. Is it better then some of the other razors it competes with - not really. I just ended up buying this and some of the others and then I just buy replacement blades when they...
...

For all of my shaving life, I have bought the cheapest razors possible. I hated shaving and hated that I had to spend money buying things to shave my legs. So I spent as little as possible and changed my razors only when they became rusty or gross (disgusting, I know). But that all changed when I had a chance to try a razor by Venus Embrace. My husband and I went away for a weekend and the hotel we stayed in had samples in the bathroom of mid-sized shampoos, conditioners, soaps, body washes and a full-sized Venus razor. So I gave it a try and absolutely loved it. I felt like I was finally able to get my legs shaved in one pass versus 2-3 with the cheaper razors. I felt like the moisture strips were helping to leave my legs feeling softer versus chaffed. I felt like I had finally found a razor that I could live with, making shaving bearable. Plus the sample came with a coupon, making buying replacement heads even cheaper.
...

I have been using the Intuition razor for about two years now, Its the one and only razor I use because its so easy and convienent. It has built in moisture bar so you don't even have to use shaving cream.

You can rach the hard to reach areas and it has a pivoting head to help go over your knees and curvy areas. I would reccomend this razor to all females becaue its the best razor Ive ever used I just love how quick I can shave my legs and underarms with this it reall cuts the time for shaving down by at least half.

The only bad thing is that the cartriges are kinda pricey and one side of it wears down way faster then the other side. But I still think its worth the price because it does get the job done.

Schick has really good commercials for their razors it keeps you locked on the tv and wanting to go out and buy their product. Everyone I know uses a Intuition razor no matter the price.
...

No need to deal with razor burn anymore no matter what your age or gender and no matter what kind of whiskers you have. Gillette Fusion's 5-blade razors leave you baby-butt smoothe without the ingrown hairs or razor burn no matter how old you are or what your gender might be. Great for folks with sensitive skin who are prone to nicks and cuts when shaving .... it's a virtually fail-safe razor. My dad age 68 with tough whiskers can use it as well as my 14 year old daughter whose 'whiskers' are as fine as baby's hair. It is almost nick proof because it's lined up great; so, shaving the knees and arm pits with their awkward curves and those tender ankle areas no longer makes me nervous. No more scarring and painful nicks .. YAAY! Another great thing (and I know because i gave my ex-hubby one for christmas last year and he has to shave twice a day if he has a late meeting) but you can shave with this one more than once in the day and still no painful razor burn or ingrowns .. I really wish...
...

Smooth away made great promises. It said that it could get rid of the hair all over your body easily with no cuts, nicks, or razor burn. well, they were right about no cuts, nicks, or razor burn but what they failed to mention is that all the hair is still there! it fools you at first, because it also removes your dead skin at the same time (which it does remarkably well!) so you think that the hair is gone... you can't see it because your skin where used has lightened and is now the same color as your hair. and when you feel it it feels soft and smooth. lies! all lies! when you go to bed that night and wake up the next morning you will not be waking to smooth and silky legs! rather, you will be waking up to the same stubbly legs you had before you used smooth away! don't bother using it, it takes longer than shaving and really... who out there has nicked themselves shaving since they were 13!
...

I've been happy with various Venus shaving cartridges since they were first introduced. I've kept the original handle, but always tried out the new cartridges when they were released. Now, this one has a solid soap on top and bottom of the razor blades, to take the place of your shaving cream. I thought this would be good.

The Gilette Spa Breeze is a great product. I use this in the shower, it's great because it glides smoothly, no need for shaving gel. and it smells great too. Smells good and delivers a close shave with no nicks and cuts. The Venus Spa Breeze is designed for women who seek convenience, but still love to indulge their skin without the need for separate shave cream. Both contain built-in shave gel bars that provide a skin-loving light lather for a smooth shave.

With a beautiful blush pink handle, Venus Spa Breeze features flexible shave gel bars infused with the clean, fresh scent of white tea to indulge the senses while providing a close, smooth shave.

This is absolute the best razor i have been shaving since i was a pre-teen and I have went through all female razors and by far this is the best one if you never bought this razor please buy it you will love it.This razor doesn't cut you like most razor it takes the hair of with one stroke not several which i really like that way you eliminate possibly getting cut. This product also has the shaving cream on the razor were it moisturisesyour skin while you shave this is awesome. Also this product isn't that pricey it's about 4$ and the refills are 3$ which really isn't bad for the price of not having cut up legs. The refill cartridges that goes on the razor also come in sensitive fragrance free moisturisers so for people who may need this it's available. I can go on and on about this product just please give it a try you will love it like i did because you will experience no cuts and your skin will love the moisturiser.

I received this razor as a gift. I would never fork over the dough to get it for myself. Once I got it I was hooked. I love how this razor works. I lot of other razors for women are kind of dull and has you reshaving spots. But this one doesn't. I shave with one stroke per spot. I have never cut myself with it so I think it's pretty safe. I don't even have to use shaving lotion because most come with a little moisture strip. I even had a magnet cover to go on it when I was done with it. I like the fact that I used this one razor to shave many parts of my body and with the others I atleast have to use three if not more in one particular time. It is a little pricey but I also realize that if I want a quality razor that I know is going to work then I don' mind paying the price for it. Also for men who shave with razors this razor is strong enough for men to use. Yet soft enough for a woman.
...

grandma3b5g says "This is the best dispossable razor I have ever used" about BIC Ladies disposable

I have been shaving for many years, and have tried many differant razors. I have tried both electric and dispossables. This razor is the best. It is affordable, and has sharp blades that don't wear out after one use. I have used it on my legs without the razor stubble being left, and used it in other areas without irretation. I would recomend this to young ladies who are just starting out, as well as older ladies who have been doing it for years. If you are a lady who travels alot, it great to take in your travel bag. If your the outdoors type its one that you can take on a camping trip without any worries.
...

kiserkristi says "Gillette Fusion is the best razor I've ever used!" about Gillette Fusion

First off let me say that I am a woman. I have used countless different razors and shavers for years and I started using these Gillette razors when I found that the ones made for women do not work for me. I will never go back to using razors that are developed for women because the Gillette razors work wonders for me. Five blades and an easy to hold handle, a "vibrate" button for the more sensitive areas like underarms and bikini line. These razors give me a clean shave every time and the moisturizing strips make it easy to shave difficult areas like around the knees and ankles. I never cut myself with these razors even if I am in a hurry. I absolutely love this product and my sensitive skin does as well. The replacement cartridges are well worth the money and the initial "razor" purchase itself has been paid off by many smooth-shaving experiences. I rely on this razor to boost my confidence and I would proudly recommend it to the men and women in my life!
...

ahmgdevo says "Venus 3 breeze shaver is very convenient and easy to use." about Venus VENUS 3 BREEZE

The Venus 3 breeze is a great way to get your shaving done quickly and easily. No reason to use shaving cream because the shaving conditioning and moisturizing gel is built in to the blade itself. The shave is close and comfortable with little concern for cutting or chafing of your legs or underarms. It is so nice to not have to pack both a razor and shaving creme on trips or for travel. Both my daughter and I use this razor exclusively now so you could say that we are very impressed with the product. The only complaint that we have is that it seems the price keeps going up. It has become quite expensive when dividing out the cost per blade. We would be much happier consumers if the price could be contained a bit; especially in these very tough economic times. If there was a way to keep the moisture strip from popping off prematurely, that would be an excellent upgrade as well. It is ashame that you can only use about 3/4 of the moisturizing strips before they pop off....
...

grimmcgore says "Gillette gets my face smooth." about Gillette twin blade

I have had a beard since middle school. No lie. I matured a little faster and my dad gave me a gilette. It did the job, but i tried others. Oh, The Horror!! I would cut my self, throw on the alcohol and let the torutr begin. That's why I always stayed tru to Gillette. Before a date, Gillette. Before an interview, Gilette. Before a concert, Gillette. Before Thanksgiving Christmas, Birthdays, weddings, funerals, you're man Derek is in the bathroom trimmin' my mug with Gillette's dual action blade, that's always sure to get that stray hair with that extra blade. Bumps? what bumps? I'm a hairy man and i don't have any shaving bumps. Irratation?? Afraid not. While you're grand pappy is using that straight razor, you better get with the times and shave with a gillette razor and whatever gel or cream your heart desires. Heck, you can use soap and water and still be smooth like me. Cherish your face and leave your legs alone men. Gillette is for the smothest.
...
