ongter says "i love it" about Kiehl's Creme with Silk Groom

I heard a lot of good things about this product and I decided to check it out myself. This product really makes my hair behave a lot better. My hair is dry, coarse, wavy, and thick. It feels silky and smooth, and my hair looks a lot healthier. I usually have to use so much product in my hair beause my hair can usually soak up the product in an instant, but with this one, I actually have to worry about applying too much on my hair, otherwise it weighs it down and becomes greasy. Knowing how much is in the bottle and how much I use of it, this stuff will last for LONG...

momaboo says "Great as a detangler for children and adults" about Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam.

I love love love every Aveda product I've tried so far but this product is great! It is a lil costly initially but I'm telling you it will last forever. We used this same bottle between 2 sometimes 3 people for 5 months. Sometimes it would even get used several times a day if we went swimming or had more than one shower. I used it initially as a product to help with taming my frizz before I blowed out my hair. I have naturally curly/wavy hair that I dry and flat iron almost everyday. I'd use this before I dried then tried a very small amount before the flat iron to act as a protectant and it worked great! I then started using it on my 2 year old to see if it would untangle her hair after a bath and sure enough it was awesome! I put it on as soon as she gets out then wait till after I get her dressed to brush through her hair. Brush will just slide on through! Not to mention it has the wonderful Aveda smell and more natural than any discount store products. With most aveda products a...

Aveda Air Control is probably the only hair spray I willingly use. I hate having "helmet head". My husband loves to touch my hair and I always want it to have movement and softness. This hairspray gives me all of that and smells almost like an Aveda perfume! My husband loves to bury his face in my hair even right after I finish styling it. It's great for a quick spritz with a light hold and you can layer is to get a tighter hold. I love this...

I have used Redken products for about five years now. One of the best products is the Align Ultra Straight Balm. I have thick, naturally wavy hair that is tough to manage. I use one or two pumps of the balm (my hair is shoulder length or longer) and put it in after my shower and I towel dry my hair. I put more on the hair on the back of my head (where is it more wavy). After blow drying and using a straight iron my hair is smooth and straight. This product helps keeps some moisture in my hair and keeps the frizzies down. For added smoothness the Redken Outshine is amazing! — The only down side is the cost but for a good product it is worth it! I only use it when I have my hair down. So that was it lasts longer. —...

Meri says "Silicone Shine Makes My Hair Look Fabulous!" about TRESemme No Frizz professional formula SHINE SPRAY

The concept: I love cars; the smaller and sportier the better. I like them clean and shiny with tires that have that wet look. So, when presented with shine sprays for my hair a number of years back I thought, "Great, I will see if I can get that same shine on my hair. What did I have to lose?!" I purchased a tiny little bottle for $12 at my favorite salon and went home to try it. I instantly fell in love with the product but I wasn't too excited about the price. Since then, I have tried many different brands in search of an economical version that would give me the same great shine. Most brands are heavy or don't last long. Of the many I tried, one stood out above the rest: TRESemme' NO FRIZZ ultra light professional formula SHINE SPRAY. I LOVE IT! — — Usage: The product says to spray 6-8 inches and to apply liberally on damp hair before heat styling to prevent poofiness. It says to apply to dry hair if you want shine and to prevent frizz. Since frizz isn't an...

I love this product because it smoothes down and de-frizzes my curls, making my hair look shinier and sleeker. It doesn't have a ton of hold, so if I use it by itself my curls can get a bit limp. That's why I always use it with Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock Amplifier, which is great for defining and adding volume. This product smells great and has pleasant, easy-to-work-with texture. It will not make curls crunchy, although if you use too much it can make your scalp look a little greasy. Once you get the hang of it, this product works wonders, especially if you use it in conjunction with a thicker cream or gel for curly hair. If you decide you like it, buy the 33 oz bottle - it's a much better value. —...

I recently started using Pantene Silk Transformation Creme, or Silkining Adoucir as it states on the container. This is probably the sixth product I have tried to tame my frizzy fly away hair. Since having a baby, my previously smooth, wavy, thick mane has come to resemble a five year olds tooth brush. The one that now gets used for cleaning the gunk around the sink. Sad. — I was in deperate need of something that could smooth the new hair that was growing seemingly straight out of my head. I needed a product that could add some shine to the half of my hair that had managed to stay attached to my scalp. Pantene Silk Transformation creme is the product I had been looking for. This creamy lotion smells great, like the rest of the Pantene line. The creme is not sticky like a gel, and it rinses out easily. You can use this on wet or dry hair. You pump a small amount in your hand, apply it to your hair and comb it through. I...

Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion by Organic Root Stimulator has a lot of qualities to recommend it - not the least of which is its impressive title. This hair care product can be found in the Ethnic Hair care aisle of the drugstore (which is where I found mine). The bottle claims that the leave-in hair lotion "protects, conditions and restores moisture to dry, thirsty hair." I opened the cap just to get a sniff and really liked the light, fresh fragrance. I thought it might be good to guard against split ends, so I bought a bottle for about five dollars. Organic Root Stimulator is not kidding when they use the word "rich" to describe their olive oil moisturizing lotion. It was so packed with olive oil that even after I shook the bottle vigorously to mix it well, I still ended up with a glob of lotion and unmixed oil dribbling into my palm. Still, I rubbed my hands together and applied the lotion to the bottom half of my hair, concentrating on the...

I have waged a battle with my curly hair for many years. I love the look and feel of straight hair and have spent more than the $4.00 the Frizz Ease serum cost, to get my hair straight and keep it that way. Although the bottle is small, a few drops are enough to help keep my hair straight, even on recent monsoon season days when the humidity was higher than what I'm normally accustomed to. It also worked surprisingly well when I left my hair wet and let it dry to its natural curl. One drawback to this however, was that my hair got frizzy towards the end of the day and my curls lost their boingyness. Also, I had to make sure I put it on wet hair, if my hair was damp or dry, I had a major greasy look, and it did not go on evenly. ...

My mom used to say I had a CVS in my closet because of all the products I bought. I would say 95% of them were for my hair! I finally found the John Frieda collection and the Frizz-Ease product. It really does work great for thick and frizzy hair and adds a glossy finish without being greasy. If you don't have thick hair I think it may make your hair a little heavy.

Pros - No frizz, good curls, long lasting, DELICIOUS smell, can be used on naturally straight hair too, only $3-4, easy/low maintenance — Cons (not many!) - kinda crunchy (as hairsprays tend to be) — — Possibly the only way I can come close to describing my hair is by letting you in on my childhood nickname -- Medusa. My mom would comb my little blond bob to perfection, only to have the back flair up in what can only be compared to a giant rat's nest. My hair has darkened, but the rat's nest has not gone away. — — I was "blessed" with--as everyone else sees it--lots and lots of wavy Irish hair. The way I see it tends to lean more towards annoying, frizzy, and confused. When I let it dry naturally (I am extremely lazy when it comes to getting ready), it generally tends towards the curlier side (especially in the back.. Medusa returns), but the frizzy, kind of awkwardly straight comes out a bit too. As I said, annoying. — — SPRUNCH HAS SOLVED...

Its a great wax, even for dreadlocks. I have very frizzy hair and this works great, all i do is take a small amount and rub it into my hair and the frizz is gone all day. The wax also smells great, there's no need to have to worry about have to deal with a bad smelling product being in your hair all day, its a refreshing smell.
