I really love painting my nails because it is a great way to express my style, so I was thrilled when I found this China Glaze Nail Polish on sale. It comes in great color, and every color has just a little shimmer and is very bold. The nail polish was on sale for under five dollars and it is definitely worth its value because it added a bold color to my nails and was long lasting. I work around a lot of water and outside where there are so many opportunities for my nail color to chip, but this color withstood everything and lasted for almost two weeks. I liked that the bottle was clear so you could see the exact color you were buying, because it went on in a nice thick coat of color. The brush is easy to apply color and doesn't drip or smear. I loved that it had a nice shiny tone and made a great statement on my nails. This nail color is a true winner and the perfect way to show off your fashion style on your nails. My nails used to break off all the time and I had to cut them very short. They fractured and peeled at the edges, I couldn't even use them to open tight jar lids or anything that would put pressure on my nails. It was awful. Then a pharmacist recommended this product. It is similar to nail polish, but it is a little different in composition. If you paint your nails with it about once a week, the new nail will grow out strong. Now I can grow long nails, sometimes people even ask if they are fake because they are so long and good-looking.

Also it CURES nails: I don't even need to use this anymore. Sometimes I do though because it gives such a nice shine. Well worth buying if you have weak nails.

I never have the time to paint my nails even though I always want too. My nails typically need two things from nail polishes: it needs to strengthen my nails, and it needs to hold up to everyday wear-and-tear on polish, from typing on my computer to playing piano to washing dishes. Sallye Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color combines both those factors into a great polish. With a variety of over 25 color options, everybody can find a shade that matches their mood, skin tone, or outfit! I paid $4.04 at Walmart for a bottle that should last me almost a year.

I applied two thin coats in Nude Shimmer on a Thursday evening. By Sunday, I still showed no chipping. There was a little wearing around the tips, so I simply applied another thin coat to touch it up and got two more days of wear out it. Now, Nude Shimmer is a very pale color, so darker shades might show the thinning sooner, but for the lighter colors, I easily get 3-4 days before I need to touch up my polish.

Walgreens Salon Formula Polish Remover is a perfect size for traveling. I bought the 2 ounce bottle, that retails for 99 cents, at a bargain price of 39 cents.

It is nothing fancy. Just a plastic bottle with a red screw top. It is bigger at the bottom and narrows at the top.

Upon unscrewing the cap there is a plastic seal to break. Putting the bottle to my nose the nail polish remover doesn't have a really bad smell to it, like some do.

I put black nail polish on my nails for Halloween, and wanted to remove it the next day. I got a couple of cotton balls, and put the Salon Formula Polish Remover on them, and easily took of the polish, with no trace left on my nails.

For a very inexpensive product this did great.

I hardly ever put polish on my nails, so this little bottle will last a long time.

Please not that this product is highly flammable, as with all polish removers, and treat it as such. Also keep out of the reach of children.

I have used Kiss Nails for many years now. I was hesitant to try an "at home" manicure set, because I was sure I wouldn't be able to use it properly. Kiss is really simple to use and works good.

The nails come in a variety pack that has several different sizes. This is good because everyone's nails are different. Usually I can get at least two sets of nails out of each pack. For maximum wear, use the nail preparation wipe that is enclosed in the packet. This leaves your nails clean so the glue will secure the nail tighter. For a more natural look, push cuticles back with the orange stick, glue the nails as close to the nail bed as possible, and push the cuticles back over the nail just a little bit.

I'm not sure what the recommendation is on how long the nails should be worn, but I keep mine on for at least 2 weeks, and they stay secure. If you attempt to wear them longer than that, they get loose and begin to pop off.

Sally Hansen is a great brand. For nail polish, I only buy from sally hansen and OPI. other brands I think are not as healthy for your nails. The colors for the sally hansen diamonds like are all very classy. I have the deep red and the one thats glittery violet, as well as the pearly color (i have forgotten what the actual color names are on the bottle, sorry!!). My only problem is that it dries a bit slow, and during that time i'll have to do something messy and have to wash my hands (cooking, etc) so the polish gets wet and easily peels off. And its really bad for your nails to peel off the polish, so thats the only drawback that i see. of course, it happens with all brands probably, not just sally hansen. its really my fault for getting my hands wet in the first place.

I have been thinking to get a brighter shade of red, but I am not sure if it will go well with my skintone. What I like about sally hansen is that the color visible from the bottle is more or less...

I absolutely love the China Glaze Nail Polish line. I am a person who always paints my own nails and I do have natural nails. Because I work with my hands it is so important for them to look their best....so I use this polish because I find that I do not have as many problems with chipping and whatnot. I love the color choices and find that they really last a long time. I usually go a week before I have to totally re-do my nails over again for a full manicure. I use the same color during the week for touch ups if necessary. Sometimes I do need to do touchups due to the fact that my hands are in water a lot. But China Glaze is a brand that can definitely be trusted and if you purchase it, you won't be sorry. I also buy the clear top coat and find that it helps with longer wearability. This product is sold at professional salons and I now see why: it truly stands up to the test of time! You won't be sorry!

Wet n Wild Shine Nail polish is a gift from God. I love love love love love love love love love love this nail polish!!! Most of the time you only need one coat for it to be it's best color and the best thing about Wet n Wild nail polish is... drum roll please..... it's less than a DOLLAR!! Great quality nail polish for under a dollar. What's better than that? The nail polish also has chic, unique names. Also, the packaging is so amazingly cute! AND it comes in a variety of colors! I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family. This is my favorite brand of nail polish ever. It even beats high-dollar brands such as OPI and China Glaze. A little background information - I'm a bit of a nail polish collector and have around 100 nail polishes currently. I have tried many brands from drugstore, department stores, to the obscure and foreign. So I think i have a pretty good grasp of what constitutes a good nail polish. Let me tell you that this is one of my favorite brands for many reasons. One the main reasons I keep going back to China Glaze is that it lasts a long time. With a good topcoat it easily stays on my nails for over a week with no chips or tipwear. This is important to me as I am very busy with working full time plus going to college full time, so I don't have time to do my nails every couple days. It applies like a dream, nice and smooth, not streaky or goopy. I love unique and attention grabbing colors and this brand satifies my need for fun colored polishes. I have an extensive collection of makeup and nail polish as well. Amongst my higher-end nail polishes I find I am always returning to my main staple colors from Revlon. I have two nude to pinkish shades and one bold red in the Revlon nail enamel line. I find that with the right base and top coats, these polishes hold up just as well as the top dollar varieties and the color stays vibrant. They are easy to apply and go on smooth with the brush provided.

I can appreciate how these polishes are very affordable, even on sale at the drugstore at times and how the line has a nice array of pratical colors, whether you are a younger girl with more edgy taste or someone who works in a more corporate office. I highly recommend their reds and nude shades. I have not found a purple that I really like but as the color offerings change there may be more available soon. I have used OPI products for years and when I saw OPI for Sephora I was intrigued, but the price is higher for the Sephora version so why bother? On a recent trip to the store I was playing with the nail polishes (much like I did with my mother's when I was younger except no one yells at you) and tried Under My Trenchcoat which is a light gray kahki with gold flecks. Really very pretty on my skin. I had a special offer coupon for a discount so I bit the bullet. And two weeks later the polish is still on my nails with very little chipping which would have been an easy fix if I wasn't so lazy! It shimmered just subtlely and I got so many compliments on the color. This is going to be my go to shade for the fall and winter. It dried quickly (I find that polish with any flecks or glitter tends to dry a little quicker and last a little longer). If only this line came in more shades! This polish has a stunning, shine-free effect...for the first day or two. While the polish itself is fairly long-wearing, it tends to absord any kind of oil it may come in contact with, developing a bit of a shine as time goes on (though not to the extent of a full-gloss polish). As far as shades, I especially recommend checking out Metro Chic, a medium purplish/brownish gray - as versatile as it is beautiful and unique.

Currently, only two other shades are available - a bright purple (Domestic Goddess) and flat black. I hope that this line expands to include some of the other shades available in the regular Sephora OPI line, especially the deep reds and browns. If a wider array of shades were available, and the formula could be improved so as not to become slick with wear, this product would be a 5 for sure - I'm getting plenty of wear out of it, and hope that matte polish in general becomes more widely available on a permanent basis.

I had read several great reviews and was hoping they'd be worth the shipping cost at least, since each pen only costs $1! They arrived within a week of my order being placed, and I couldn't resist applying the cuticle pen in my driveway right after getting the mail, I was so eager to see if they actually worked!

e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pen contains no paraben and has avocado, grapeseed, sweet almond, and aloe vera oils. e.l.f. is a PETA sponsor, so while you may not be a PETA fan, there is definitely the benefit that they don't do any animal testing. The white pen has a cap that you just pull off, then brush the liquid onto your nails and cuticles with the brush at the end of the applicator.

I am always skeptical of products like nail strengtheners because I am not sure exactly how they work. The Sally Hansen Maximum Growth nail product is an absolutely great find. Prior to using the product, I would always get hangnails or find that my nails are constantly chipping. I would use the Maximum Growth nail polish under darker nail polishes and the appearance of my nails drastically improved. I rarely ever get hangnails and the strength of my nails have improved. It is such a quick and efficient product to use. You can simply put it under your favorite nail polishes and find the quality of your nails improve in a matter of days. I have never experienced any bad product with the Sally Hansen brand line so I was not surprised that this product turned out to work quite well. As with any nail polish, it has a distinct smell to it. The smell disappears once the product dries, so no worries there.

i have been getting and giving myself pedicures for over fifteen years!! it's the one splurge i'll never give up. i first discovered opi nail lacquer at the mail one day, they were on sale at my hair saloon. one color caught my eye so i bought. wow!!! the color was so rich and deep and shiny! it was love at first sight LOL!!! i find that it last longer than other nail polishes that i have tried and they have an amazing array of colors!!!!. the polish last a long time, they don't dry out fast. i have one color that i,ve had about five years and it goes on as smoothly now as when i first bought it, none of the nail polish from opi that i have bought have ever thickened on me. they come out with new colors every season and are relatively easy to find. every nail saloon i have ever gone to carries them and you can find them in most hair salons too. give it a try, i think you'll love it too!!

I've never really liked using emery boards or metal files to groom and shape my nails, the scraping feeling alone sets my teeth on edge and I find that they leave kind of a raggedy feeling to the nail as well. At least that's been my experience until I finally gave in and purchased Sephora's Glass Nail File.

Yes, it's made of glass and it can break if it falls but, it's got the smoothest filing surface imaginable, it actually glides rather than grates againts the nail so It really doesn't cause splits or ragged spots as an emery board can. I find it takes less time to file and shape my nails as it does a more thorough job and finishes off the nail edge very nicely, making it look healthy and groomed.

File is a good size at about four inches long, it has a point tip for getting under the nail if need be. Sephora sells this file for $8.00, got mine on sale for $3.99. I've had mine for about a year and have not purchased another pack of emery boards since so,...

I tend to get dry cuticles and nails that are always in need of a deep moisturizing. As I like Avon's nail care products I wanted to give this a try. It's a nice creamy conditioning balm loaded with sweet almond oil, shea butter and vitamin E. It has a light pleasant lavender citrus scent as well.

As it does have a soft balm texture, a little goes a long way but as you start massaging it into your cuticles and nails you'll see a quick transformation from rough and dry to hydrated and healthy looking. After application, the balm stays with you but it's not greasy or oily, it really makes your cuticles and nails look and feel so much better, it softens the rough snags and gives nails a bit of flexibility making them less apt to break or peel.
