Usually I get my flavored chap sticks and lip balms from companies such as smackers and such, they taste and smell great, however they always dry out my lips, which isn't supposed to be the point of the product. The Candy Shop Lip Tints from e.l.f. have all of those same benefits, and don't dry out my lips! I love them, I have almost every flavor, but i especially recommend cherry bomb. The top of the tin slides of and on so I never loose it and can keep my lip balm with me always :) Definitely one of my favorite items from e.l.f.

This is the best lip liner i have ever tried! Since I first tried this lip liner i use it everyday! When I line my lips they look natural and the product gave me fuller and more delicious looking lips. Its great because if I want I can apply a lipgloss or lipstick along with it or even just wear the liner. The colors are very natural looking and match my lips perfectly! I just don't like that it runs out pretty fast so buy like 3!! The brush is also really handy too when applying lip gloss or lipstick and blending it all in together. Also no sharpener is needed!

The color of this thing really lasts! and I love the small of the lip Plumper, it smells like sweet cinnamon, and it even tastes good. The primer creates a base for lip color for no budge, and it works really well, and feels quite smooth going on. The plumper then enhances your lips with with a subtle plumping tingle, which really makes my small lips look larger and a but fuller, If only they could look more like Angelina Jolie's though! I usually don't wear lipstick, I prefer to wear glosses more, but this I definitely do put on every morning on my way to school. It also comes in two great colors, clear and natural. BUY THIS PRODUCT, YOU WONT REGRET!

This two sided, Lip definer, and lip shaper does exactly what its supposed to! It enhances my lips by creating a fuller more defined lip easily. One side highlights lips to create a great glow, and the other side defines lips for a perfect look your might be going for. I purchased a similar product from a high end brand sold at Saks, and I was pleasantly surprised that the performance of this item was as good as the high end one. This product was non-drying and very comfortable to wear and use. The colors are all very wearable and come in a great variety. The cap even comes with a sharpener! and for this amazing value how could you say no ?!?!

I had never heard of Burt's Bees products until I first used one of the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer products. I had actually been a loyal Softlips customer and had never paid much attention to other similar products. However, I was on a cross-country trip back home when I ran out of my last bit of Softlips! It was like a nightmare--a five hour flight and no way to moisturize my lips! I made my way to the nearest airport convenience shop and looked for Softlips and saw that it was nowhere to be found. Instead, I saw a display of yellow packaged beauty products and decided to give the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer a try. I figured that anything would be better than plain old Chapstick. The CO Bigelow Apothecaries brand is one that I usually trust because their products are natural and the company touts itself as "honest, genuine and trustworthy." They typically live up to their motto. It's also an animal friendly company as none of their cosmetic products are tested on animals. At the recommendation of my sister, I decided to try out their mint-infused Mentha Lip Tint, which is available at popular retailer Bath and Body Works. I picked up the Bare Mint shade, which according to the shading on the packaging was a reddish-brown shade for $7.50, which is more than I like to usually spend on a lip moisturizing product. I was pleased when I initially put it on as it left my lips with that tingly feeling that you get when a lip product is working. But as the day went on, it started to feel a little too goopy on my lips. Aside from the feeling it leaves after several hours of wear, the color wasn't really a tint at all. After buying the Yes To Carrots shower gel and enjoying it, I was interested in trying some of their other products. Target had a three pack of Yes To Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butters on sale for $4.24, so for $1.41 per lip balm, that is a bargain!

The three pack of lip butters contained the flavors: Berry, Carrot and Mint. Since I'm not into carrot scented products, I gave carrot to my mom without even taking a whiff of it, so for all I know it doesn't even smell like carrots.

Yes To Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butter is made with all natural ingredients and is 95% organic. It is not tested on animals and is paraben and petroleum-free. This lip balm smooths over your lips luxuriously. The texture is not thick and waxy at all; it's smooth and silky. The berry scent is kind of too sweet for me, but I still love the lip balm. It's loaded with moisturizing ingredients like: coconut oil, jojoba oil, sunflower oil and shea butter.

I would not have tried the e.l.f. Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm except for the fact that it came in a kit I purchased. That would have been a good call.

e.l.f. Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm, comes in a plain white tube, about the thickness of a pencil, with a small plastic cap to cover the balm. As a sufferer of chelitis, I've written more than my share of lip protectant reviews. Some of them are truly five-star products. LypSyl LypMoisturizer with Pure Swedish Beeswax is even more than that!

I bought my LypSyl stick in the Honeyberry sunscreen formula, paying more than I wanted to because my lips were parched and I had a dental cleaning appointment (ouch!) just days away. I had a hard time rating this product...for such a low-cost lip gloss, I expected to get 2-star quality. It felt really weird to rate a product that cost me a buck 5 stars!!! But I'm definitely one to give credit where credit is due...

My e.l.f. Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 came as part of package deal...the e.l.f.2go travel pack, which I got for a whopping $4.00 at Big Lots. Encased in a plastic travel baggie, I got the lip gloss, therapeutic conditioning lip balm, eye brightener (white eye pencil), shimmering facial whip, and shine eraser (blotting sheets). All the products, including the travel bag, are approved for carrying on planes and are intended to help you look fantastic after a long flight.

My favorite part of the package is the lip gloss. This pack came in light pink shades...the lip gloss is called pink kiss...a very light, sheer feminine shade of (you guessed it) pink. The tube and packaging don't list the amount, but compared to my other tubes of gloss,...

I have been using Chap Stick for years and every now and then I will pick up some other lip balm to see if it is better. Nothing seemed to be better until I purchased the Aquafina Lip Balm. It glided on smooth with this really great moisturizing feeling and taste. You don't even have to put a lot on. I rubbed my lips together and they were moist and wet with a hint of flavor. With Chap Stick I find myself rubbing several times before I can even feel it working.

The menthol used in all the flavors (wild berry, citrus blend, raspberry) was a pleasant surprise. They even have just plain, which I guess you could switch to when you don't want flavor on your lips.

The age-old problem of lip gloss- how to find a product that is neither sticky nor too shiny yet longlasting and moisturizing? I have tried practically every brand of lip gloss, from drugstore finds like Bonnie Bell and NYC Color to department and specialty beauty brands like Benefit and Tarte.

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine is by far the best lip gloss I have used. I apply my lip gloss in the morning, and it practically lasts me through dinner! The gloss is not sticky or tacky, and it provides just enough shine. Unlike with other glosses, my hair doesn't stick to my lips, and the gloss doesn't rub off when eating or drinking. A special bonus with this gloss- it smells great and freshens breath!

I have found that the original C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine is the best lip gloss in the line. I have also tried the tinted and flavored versions, but they do not seem to last nearly as long. I highly recommed this product and will only purchase this gloss from now on.

I have to admit, I am a lip balm connoisseur/addict. If I see an all natural lip balm with a fruity or minty scent, I'm all over it. I can't even tell you how many different lip balms I have tried, but the number is high and it's getting even higher.

My latest score is the Alba Pineapple Quench Lip Balm. This lip balm falls in the Hawaiian Alba line of body care products. These products are deliciously scented with tropical fruits like coconut, pineapple, mango, etc...and smell so wonderful, you want to eat them. This lip balm smells exactly like a piece of ripe, juicy pineapple.

It glides on your lips smoothly and isn't waxy like Chapstick. It is a little heavier on the lips than I am used to, but it's not a bad feeling. Alba Pineapple Quench Lip Balm is made with all natural ingredients and is 82% organic. It's not tested on animals and includes no mineral oil or petroleum products.

I am certifiably addicted to lip balms, glosses, etc. If I don't have at least 3 of them in my purse at any given time (and 1 in my pocket too!), I start to get nervous. When I saw the Trader Joe's Virtuoso Lip Balm sold in a 3-pack for less than $2, I figured I should check it out.

This lip balm is sold in your typical Chapstick-type tube. It contains 50% organic ingredients and the main ones include octinoxate, oxybenzone, organic virgin olive oil, beeswax, organic jojoba oil, vitamin E, essential oil of spearmint, shea butter, etc. I'm a big fan of natural and organic ingredients, so I am happy to see this type of product with these components.

I've been using this Virtuoso Lip Balm for a couple of days now. It is very smooth, glides onto lips, and will produce a modest layer of product on your mouth after several zips across the mouth. I have a serious problem with lip balms and glosses and have VERY strong opinions about my lip product. Every purse, pocket and drawer in my house and office have at least one tube. To add to my collection, I purchased C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Cream several weeks ago and have been trying it off and on since I bought it.

C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Cream is one of Bath and Body Works' lip balms sold both online and in stores. The cream comes in a bright yellow tube with a black cap. The tip is slanted for easy appplication directly onto lips. The 0.5 oz. tube sells for between $5.00 and $7.50, depending on whether you can get it on sale or not. As you can probably deduce from the name, C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Cream contains 2% pure lemon oil, which serves to smooth and moisturize dry or chapped lips.

I bought the CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain because the summer is now here and lipsticks and glosses don't hold up in the high heat and humidity of Iowa. I'm also a mother of a 2-yr-old girl and it's a pain-in-the-you-know-what to reapply your lipstick or lipgloss every 5 minutes. I also really hate the feel of most lipsticks after it has been on my lips for awhile. It either gets really dry and makes my lips feel sandpapery or it feels goopy and gross and it smears all over the place.

I've tried MILLIONS of different lipstains over the years and I have yet to settle on liking one enough to keep buying it. The best ones I've tried had the marker-like felt tip applicators. They're the easiest to apply on the go and the likelihood of product dripping and staining something besides your lips is pretty low. So I decided that this one would be good to try. It's difficult to find lipstains in your local mega-mart store so I thought it was awesome that such a widely known (and widely sold!) brand...

I am always on the lookout for lipcolors that make good nude lipcolors. As I get older, I am finding that it is less high maintenance to find really lovely nude lip colors to wear. It tends to make a person look younger, and God knows we can all use some of that from time to time.

WHAT IS BRAVE NEW BRONZE?

MAC just came out with a really nice new collection called STYLE WARRIOR. With a tribal influenced design on the bronze tubes of lipstick, two of the colors open up to reveal a leopard design inside the cap, and two others have zebra design.

I think it is really really cool. However, the color BRAVE NEW BRONZE is really a perfect nude lipstick for me for summer. Although it looks golden in base when swatched on my hand, on my lips which tend to be more pigmented with mauve based color, it turns out to look quite cool.

BRAVE NEW BRONZE is a satin finish lipstick. That means that it is not matte, but it is not shimmery either. It makes a gorgeous nude lip.

Mac came out with the Naughty Nauticals collection and their selection of items are very interesting. One of the most breathtaking in the collection is the Port red lipstick.The lipstick is listed as a frost, however, it is like a brigher red version of Queens Sin Lipstick from the last jewel toned collection, which was a runaway hit with its intense metallic dark red appearance.Port red lipstick is also listed as yellow based red. Although it does have a slighter brigher appearance, I would not say that it is as yellow basesd as I expected it to be. It still can be pushed to the cooler side of red using a cool dark lip liner.Port red is another color that I have been waiting for years for. It is perfect for me. Not overly moisturizing, it still brings out the most beautiful perspective of red in a lipstick. It adds dimension to lips and using just a touch of red gloss in the middle of hte lips-the effect is fantastic. Grab it if you find it for sure!!!
