I really love beauty products, but my number one staple in products is always lip balm. I hate putting balms with harsh chemicals or animal products on my skin, so I am a big fan of Kiehl's because they make high quality products that are all natural. I found this Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 on sale for $8 at the Kiehl's store and it is probably the best lip balm I have ever used because not only is it chemical free and all natural, but it is really great for my lips. The tube is pretty large, so a little product goes a long way and you get your money's worth in every drop. The lip balm is cooling and a therapy for your lips. It goes on easy without feeling oily or greasy. I like that the lip balm is fragrance free, so that anyone can use it, men or women. Once the lip balm is on, it starts working right away. Generally I don't wear makeup. I stopped using foundation many years ago. Then I got a sample of Bare MInerals Makeup. I was fasinated by the infomercials, but not convinced. But, I got the sample for a small price and decide to try it, convinced I would prove the commercials full of lies.

To my amazment, it did cover uneven coloring on my face very well without looking like I painted makeup on my face. It did not leave that heavy, feeling of liquid makeup either. So I did my whole face and went out into the world. to my amazement, my sister said my face looked younger and wanted to know what I was doing.

It also works well covering blemishes. I found that when I get the occational pimple, if I cover it with Bare Minerals at first sign, it actually helps get rid if it within a few days.

On my recommendation, my daughter, my sister and my mother tried it and also use this product. The mineral veil is wonderful too. Worth the price as you don't need much for full coverage.

Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen

I guess when you've been wearing make up for two decades you go through phases. Black liquid eye liner, often applied with something that looked like a tiny paint brush was popular in the eighties. I was turned off for two reasons. A) So many people OVER did it. B) I didn't seem to have the coordination to apply it correctly.

Maybe I have a steadier hand now. Maybe I am just no longer in a rush. Likely, it is the improvement in the applicator that makes this liquid eyeliner a success for me.

I am not an everyday eye liner wearer. In my makeup bag, I have one Revlon eyeliner pencil, one Mary Kay eyeliner and one Clinique eyeliner. This seems like over kill but they are all different colors with different features but what none if them were was BOLD. A few months ago we were headed out for big time celebration with many friends old and new. A new dress and a babysitter and this mama wanted something a little more dramatic for the evening. ...

Sally Hansen is a great brand. For nail polish, I only buy from sally hansen and OPI. other brands I think are not as healthy for your nails. The colors for the sally hansen diamonds like are all very classy. I have the deep red and the one thats glittery violet, as well as the pearly color (i have forgotten what the actual color names are on the bottle, sorry!!). My only problem is that it dries a bit slow, and during that time i'll have to do something messy and have to wash my hands (cooking, etc) so the polish gets wet and easily peels off. And its really bad for your nails to peel off the polish, so thats the only drawback that i see. of course, it happens with all brands probably, not just sally hansen. its really my fault for getting my hands wet in the first place.

I have been thinking to get a brighter shade of red, but I am not sure if it will go well with my skintone. What I like about sally hansen is that the color visible from the bottle is more or less...

I love the Kiehl's lip balm #1. This lip balm has helped save my dry, cracked and chapped lips over and over again from the harsh effects of cold weather. I live in New England and winters are brutal here....between the drying effects of in home heating and the drying effects of the harsh cold and brutal winter, my skin takes a beating. I have to keep them moisturized with Kiehl's lip balm and that helps tremendously. I always purchase several tubes of it....one to keep in my purse, one for my medicine cabinet, one for my desk at work, and one to keep in my car. So as you can see, no matter where I go I am always ready to battle dryness with the Kiehl's lip balm. i have also gotten friends and family hooked on it because it is such a great and terrific product. After you try it you will also see the dramatic difference it makes on dry and chapped and chafed lips. You will be loving it so much you will buy lots like me!

Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation is perfect for the women that wants a light foundation. It gives you a decent amount of coverage for the thickness of the product. Being a mineral foundation it makes my skin feel super smooth after it is applied and my skin feels like it can breath. It comes in a nice selection of tones also so finding your shade should be fairly easy. I have been using this product for approximately one year. I actually tried Maybelline's new 12 hr foundation and it was really thick.

I absolutely love the China Glaze Nail Polish line. I am a person who always paints my own nails and I do have natural nails. Because I work with my hands it is so important for them to look their best....so I use this polish because I find that I do not have as many problems with chipping and whatnot. I love the color choices and find that they really last a long time. I usually go a week before I have to totally re-do my nails over again for a full manicure. I use the same color during the week for touch ups if necessary. Sometimes I do need to do touchups due to the fact that my hands are in water a lot. But China Glaze is a brand that can definitely be trusted and if you purchase it, you won't be sorry. I also buy the clear top coat and find that it helps with longer wearability. This product is sold at professional salons and I now see why: it truly stands up to the test of time! You won't be sorry!

I've only tried two products from Duwop, so I can't say much for the overall quality of the brand; however, the Lip Venom, as a lip plumper and lipgloss, is a pretty cool concept. Venom is an appropriate name for this lipgloss/plumper combo, as you can feel a stinging sensation a few minutes after applying the gloss on. Your lips feel bigger and redder like it usually does after eating something spicy and hot, and they do indeed look plumper and redder, and shiny as well. The stinging effect (which I liked) didn't last more than ten minutes, and although my lips did appear fuller and brighter at first, that effect also didn't last long. So the product does work to a certain degree, but isn't long lasting at all. I actually prefer Fusion Beauty's Lip Fusion to Lip Venom, which doesn't provide the stinging sensation, while allowing the lips to look fuller for a longer period of time, and over a longer period of usage. I'd recommend the Lip Venom though, because even though it doesn't work...

I bought L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in the color scheme: Smokey Eyes and loved it, so I took a chance on L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in the shade Eva's Violets. Unfortunately, this eye shadow quad is nothing like the great Smokey Eyes quad, so I am stuck with some mediocre eye shadow.

The title of the color scheme, Eva's Violets, is named after Eva Longoria who endorses this brand of make-up. Apparently, these are the colors that she wears - good luck to her! I am so disappointed in this eye shadow.

L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Eva's Violets is an eye shadow quad that contains a purple/violet color scheme. It includes a matte dark purple, matte white, matte pink and a frosty lavender color. The only color I like in this set is the frosty lavender. The other three colors which are matte, are poor-quality. You can't even see them on your skin. Burts Bees Lip Balm is the BOMB!!! This is the best chap stick I have ever used in my life.. Last winter I had horrible chapped lips and couldnt figure out why they werent getting better, I had tried every kind of lip balm out there and nothing was helping. I found a natural healing website that said not to use anything with any types of petroleums in them. These caused your lips to dry out quicker. I checked every container of stuff I had purchased and sure enough there was some form of that in each one. I had used Burts bees in the past so I had a tube of it as that was pretty much gone, checked it and it was all natural. I hated to pay 2 something for it because we were having money troubles, but I realized I had spent so much on other stuff.

I went out and bought several tubes and within a few days my lips were healing and felt so much better. I dont leave home without it now. We make sure to have plenty on hand at all times/.

This is a wonderful, quick addition to a morning make up routine. In addition to the Finishing Veil, my skin looks clearer than ever. I rarely have to reapply during the day, unless it's really really hot, and I hardly worry about how my skin looks when I'm wearing this. Lately I have just been wearing this alone, and it still has the same effect as the whole kit. I feel that it leaves a flawless finish, and it even covers some scars and pigmentation problems. Yet it still looks natural. I am complimented on my skin quite a few times a day, and I really believe this powder is one of the reasons. It does not break out my skin, it matches my skin tone really well (I use Translucent), and the brush is great for on-the-go make up application. I recommend this to anyone, but especially people who have had problems with acne. I would go so far as saying that it has helped clear up my acne as I no longer use harsh make up on my skin.

One day, I got to thinking: Now that I'm in the market for mascara, what do I really, really want it to do for me? This was a switch from other times, when I just find myself confronting a wall full of blister packs, wondering, "Of THESE, which do I want?" This time, I just started by imagining what my eyelashes would look like at their prettiest. They're already pretty long and thick, but without mascara no one can tell, because they're also pale and stick-straight.

I hate fuzzy, kinky tarantula lashes, so any mascara with fibers was out. Ditto the waterproof ones because they always left a residue, no matter how thoroughly I tried to get them off. But not-waterproof wasn't an option either, since I do tear from allergies and cold wind. But what I really, really wanted were eyelashes that were long, curved, black and vinyl-shiny.

Wet n Wild Shine Nail polish is a gift from God. I love love love love love love love love love love this nail polish!!! Most of the time you only need one coat for it to be it's best color and the best thing about Wet n Wild nail polish is... drum roll please..... it's less than a DOLLAR!! Great quality nail polish for under a dollar. What's better than that? The nail polish also has chic, unique names. Also, the packaging is so amazingly cute! AND it comes in a variety of colors! I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family. This is my favorite brand of nail polish ever. It even beats high-dollar brands such as OPI and China Glaze. This is my HG (Holy Grail) Mascara. I have tried many others thinking that a mascara this inexpensive could never compete with the "high end" brands. Well, I was wrong. The only thing I accomplished was wasting a bunch of time and money.

So, I am now back to my Cover Girl Lash Blast in Very Black. Very true dark black color, nice fat brush that really coats each lash making them appear longer, fatter, thicker, and volumptuous. I have had no flaking, no smearing, no spider lashes and have had nothing but compliments whenever I wear it.

The only problrm I have is that since the brush is so big and fat, I have a hard time reaching the smaller inner lashes without getting product on my skin. This is not a real problem b/c I have found a solution. Put a business card and put it between the lashes and the skin, problem sovled.

I had really high expectations for this mascara. Having heard some really great reviews, i decided to try it out. It does make lashes appear fuller and longer, has a very rich black color, which I love, and the brush is fat and amazing. The problem is that the formula has these tubes in it that stick to your lashes, this is what gives you the volume. Unfortunately, this is what I don't like, these tubes make my lashes look spidery and fake. The worse part is that the tubes fall off on my cheek and get in my eyes when trying to remove my makeup. I know that others really like this mascara so this is just my experience.

I have always wished that I could have long lushious lashes! I am so happy to have found Latisse! I do have very blonde hair and my eyelashes did not get any darker from it.

I first noticed a difference in my lashes after about three weeks of use and after about 3 months there was a great difference. It is expensive but well worth the cost.

I did not notice any of the iris darkening that is a reported side effect of using this product. I have blue eyes so of course I read up on this before I started using it. It turns out that in the clinical studies for Latisse no one had their eyes turn brown. Lumigan is the original product that active ingredient bitromast is in. Lumigan is for glaucoma and the patients were putting the drops directly in the eye for long periods of time. Lumigan is 95% stronger than Latisse.

I read the study on www.Pubmed.com for Lumigan and it was reported that only persons with hazel eyes experienced an eye change after dropping it directly into the eye. Also, not...

Covergirl eyeshadow is great and extremely pigmented. You only need about one layer of eyeshadow. And the spongey applicator that comes with it works good to apply the eyeshadow. This is one of my favorite brand of eyeshadows and I love how great it looks on your eyes. There is also a really good variety of colors. Sparkly one, Matte ones, and LOTS more! If you need a good quality affordable eyeshadow, go pick up Covergirl eyeshadow today at your local drugstore. GREAT QUALITY, PIGMENTED, AND AFFORDABLE! I would definitely recommend this to anybody! I really like the Cover Girl Tru Blend Liquid Foundation. I have tried many different foundations from liquids to minerals, to powders. I find that the powders are too drying for my skin so I tend to stick with liquids. The other problem I have is finding a color that matches my skin color. I am fair skinned with lots of pink undertones, which I do not like. So, this foundation in #2 works for both of my issues. It covers beautifully without looking too made up. Very natural while still covering problem areas. The best part of all is the price, very affordable, I have found this product for $5 to $10. I do have reason to believe that this product may cause breakouts in someone with oily skin. I have not had this problem. I would recommend this product to a friend!
