I have super super dry skin! Especially my hands and knees. I have tried every type of cream and deep mositerizing products. The only thing that has actually helped with my dry itchy skin is Johnsons Baby Oil. I also have very very sensitive skin at that. So I can never use any of the yummy smelling creams or lotions etc etc. With Johnsons Baby Oil which comes in different scents like Lavender I get that nice moisterizering feeling with such a lovely light fragrant scent that won't aggrevate me skin!! Me and my lilttle baby girl love it, She is also very sensitive like me, and it doesn't bother our skin one bit! I would highly reccomend this product. Also aside from being completley yummy and mosterizing it is very inexpensive and ladies a little goes a long way!! I frequently had to blob on a whole mess of creams because it would take a whole arm and a leg to mositerize everywhere, but with Johnsons baby oil 2 or 3 healthy drops really does moisterize my whole body!

Quick View: I have been a fan of Laura Geller's line of cosmetics for years. Her line of baked products is great. I have TONS of blushes but tend to stick with rosy hues. I decided it was time for a change so I picked up Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten Blush Compact in Golden Apricot. I thought I would look orange it doesn't at all. I love this shade and the formula is really great. I'll be buying more shades soon.

My Take on Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten Blush Compact, Golden Apricot

This blush is baked and has a somewhat uneven texture. It isn't one color throughout. There are shades of deeper apricot and lighter all swirled within the compact. I like that because blush really shouldn't be one flat color. A little variation makes skin look better and the blush look more realistic.

This compact of hard packed blush looks peachy but also has deeper apricot hues. I was totally afraid that my pale olive skin would look like a pumpkin when I applied the blush. To the contrary, the shade actually...

My nails used to break off all the time and I had to cut them very short. They fractured and peeled at the edges, I couldn't even use them to open tight jar lids or anything that would put pressure on my nails. It was awful. Then a pharmacist recommended this product. It is similar to nail polish, but it is a little different in composition. If you paint your nails with it about once a week, the new nail will grow out strong. Now I can grow long nails, sometimes people even ask if they are fake because they are so long and good-looking.

Also it CURES nails: I don't even need to use this anymore. Sometimes I do though because it gives such a nice shine. Well worth buying if you have weak nails.

When I first saw the Smashbox Holiday Palette in the Ulta Brochure, I thought to myself, "Yep, another cosmetic company dumping their junk into a cheap palette and pawning it off for Christmas."

The palette set up reminded me of those CVS palettes that have brick hard eyeshadows and pigmentless makeup in them for $9.99. The problem is that this palette is not $10- it is $52.

After the Tarte Treasure Chest Palette, I figured that nothing else this holiday season would catch my eye. However, as a true makeup artist, I never pass up an opportunity to play and discover when it comes to new products.

SMASHBOX WISH FOR THE PERFECT PALETTE is an amazing array of color and texture. Smashbox has a tendency to be a bit more translucent than other brands. They have excellent pigmentation but their translucence allows them to compliment the face and eyes without drawing attention to wrinkles, crepe, or creases.

I recently fell in love with Philosophy Ooey Gooey S'mores Lip Shine because of the delicious scent and the way it looks and feels on my lips. When I was at Philosophy's website recently, I saw they offered a Christmas ornament filled with a trio of lip shines in different scents, so I just had to have them! Included in the trio are the flavors: Spicy Pear Cobbler, Gingerbread and Orange Cranberry Spritzer. The set was only $15.00 and each lip balm normally sells for $12.00 a piece, so this was a great deal!

The scent of this lip gloss is amazing! I want to lick my lips and eat this stuff. This mouth-watering scent is like a ripe, juicy pair combined with a tart green apple and a little bit of spice. It's definitely more fruity than spicy, which I like. It is probably the best smelling lip product I have ever used.

I have to warn you. As fabulous as Philosophy Spicy Pear Cobbler Lip Shine is, it is a little weird. As you can see, the color of this lip shine is green. ...

I first bought this product at the beginning of the summer... in hopes that it really was water proof. We have a pool and i was hopinh to not look too bad if i jumped in the water at the of the day with out taking the time to wash off my make up, and i was so thrilled at the results... if i was in for prolonged periods, it did get a little smuged, butthat may have been from any sun screen getting around the eye area as well since it didn't happen every time... i paired it with the wash off water proof mascara, but that didnt hold up as well. i bought it in copper this year and am planning to reorder in the future...

Ive tried many eye liners over the years, some from rather expensive costmetics lines... and this is the very best i have found. And also it is removed completely with your face wash, so you dont need to have a separate eye make up remover. Lastly i am a contact lens wearer and it has never bothered my eyes... so yea i highly recommend it.

I have oily skin and this causes my eyeshadow to crease and fade away almost immediately after application. After several different brands of eyeshadow primer, some more expensive than others, I came to the Urban Decay Primer Potion and it has been a very good buy for me. My eyeshadow lasts most of the day now and it stays exactly where I put it; it doesn't slide around or gather in the crease of my eyelid. I've found that it seems to work best for me if I don't load the color on all at once, but either use more subtle shades or layer until I get the intensity that I want. I don't find that this irritates my eyes, but it takes a lot for something to bother my eyes, so don't take my word on it. A little goes a long way and, in fact, does a better job of staying put. The color of the primer doesn't seen to overpower the color of the eyeshadow that I use, but that may be that I use darker shades. While this is not the cheapest of products, it isn't the most expensive and it is...

Bare Escentuals is, by far, the best makeup i've ever purchased. it took a lot to get me to buy something that expensive that is "disposable" but i'll never go back to drugstore makeup again.

The little rounds seem so small, but they last forever. You really are paying for quality on this one. It only takes a tiny bit to cover a large facial area. It didn't even break my skin out, which most makeup does with shocking regularity.

I'm sold. I only wish their containers traveled better. If bounced around, they leak powder through the seam of the cap. i recommend a zippy bag for each container.

I've been using Latisse for 5 weeks now, and am really happy with the results so far. At first I didn't see it in the mirror, but when I applied my mascara - WOW -My lashes are definately longer. I recently purchased some new Lancome eye shadow and I love it!!!! It feels smooth and soft it goes on very light and and natural! It has a liitle shimmer but not too shiny! Its great for an everyday look or a more dramatic evening look too!! I just love how blendable and smooth it feels!!!! Its the perfect kind of eyeshadow if you love the natural beautiful look! the colors they have are amzing and very versatile for different skin tones!!! It also works great to brighten your eyes and make them pop but still in a natural subtle way!!! They have beautiful colors for all skin tones! The eyeshadow I would say is priced pretty fair considering how great it is!!! My girlfriends always want to steal it because they love it on them too!!! The Lancome aquatique eyeshaddow base is an exellent , good quality eyeshadow primer!!!! It makes your eyeshadow look better, feel better and last a lot longer than if you were to put eyeshadow directly on your eyelids without a primer!!!! Overall it is a great product if you love your eyeshadow to look its best and last a long time!!! It is a little pricy because it's Lancome but it is worth it when you think about how much you pay for eyeshadow and how much you have to reapply it through the day!!! The lancome primer is great because you dont have to worry about it wearing off through your work day!!! The Lancome primer is worth the pricy ticket in my oppinion because I can use a lot less eyeshadow which ion the end saves money with eyeshadow itself being so expensive anymore!!! I'm a big fan of Bare Escentuals / Bare Minerals products. I use the regular Mineral Veil and the Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Mineral Veil Feather Light as well, both of which I wouldn't be without.

I figured if two different Mineral Veils are good then three would be better right? Wrong! Bare Escentuals Hydrating Mineral Veil is definitely not all that. To start off, the texture is grainy and actually a bit rough, it is lightweight but as far as hydrating, no way! It has a dry texture that feels like a cheap oldfashioned face powder except it's sandy-ish and believe me at $29.00 for the 0.21 oz bareMinerals Hydrating Mineral Veil and "Hydrate & Brighten Brush" it's not cheap.

Yes the finish is sheer, yes it's colorless and yes it is super lightweight but when I first tried this I figured hmmm, a water-based hydrating powder with no oils, sure to be good to my complexion and add some moisture. Well nothing like that happened at all. The claim...

I received a full size free sample of Fusion Beauty LipFusion XL by fanning their Facebook page. I cannot recall where I saw this promotion, but I believe it was on one of the many freebie websites I frequent. There are many! I received this item a few weeks later in a cute silver tube. I had just signed up for the promotion and didn't realize what it was. I will tell you, its a super expensive version of DuWop Lip Venom. It makes your lips shiny, puffs them out a bit to give them some fullness, and has a slight sting, more like a tingle actually. I don't want you to think it hurts, because it feels kind of cool! It goes on kind of rough, its got a glittery feel to it, a little gritty, but it looks beautiful. It wears off quickly. In essence, this is a decent alternative that works the same way as DuWop Lip Venom, which I am totally partial to! It just dosen't go on as smooth or feel as good on the lips.

Absolutely love Avon Supershock Mascara! I have really thin eye lashes and have always tried to make them look more full,without getting them all clumpy and thats just what this does! It gave my lashes volume and length and the black color it gives makes your lashes bold.The brush is great at separating and legnthing the lashes.The packaging is nice and simple,and the product is simple to use! I have tried and tried different foundations and was ecstatic when I found Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation! I have tried them up and down the dollar amounts, from department stores to party plans and have paid exhorbitant prices for some that I have not been nearly as happy with!

I am a dry skin sufferer and have found that Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation has just the right amount of moisturizer to get me through the day. This foundation goes on fabulously with a sponge (included) and it feels super light.

I am not an eyeliner person. In fact the only eyeliner I have ever used I've had for years and it is liquid. I threw it away. Wanting to treat myself, one of my Clinique items was the Clinique Quickliner for Eyes. I asked the clerk's advice about color and she suggested moss. I am so new to this that I didn't understand why nothing was coming out of this very thin pencil-type tube. I was told I was using the smudging side. Ok so back to the mirror in the store and I used the correct side which has a very small crayon type point - well it isn't pointy like an eyeliner that you would sharpen with a pencil. Clinique Quickliner for Eyes is more rounded.

Each side has a different cap. If you accidentally put the clear cap on the color side you'll squash the color and lose some of the Liner. I looked at the price and since I was in a rich mode I didn't...

Although I am not loyal to L'oreal true match since the advent of Almay color blend, I do love it! It is the one product, in my experience, that truly matches your skin almost exactly. I use this when I need heavier coverage. Maybe if I am going out at night and need to look a bit more flawless. I use it for more than moisture control as I have very oily facial skin. The powder blends into your face and you can barely tell you have anything on. For maximum results, I use it with the true match foundation, which exactly matches my skin, Natural Buff. I'm very pale, but I do have some pink undertone scattered throughout my face. I'm not particularly rosy, I am mostly palor, but there is some color underneath. I love that L'oreal true match powder comes in shades to match all women, not just white women, which I often see.
