dasiygirl23 says "Amazing and totally Awsome" about Playtex bottles

The playtex bottles are so awsome and amazing. I absolutly love them. They are a total life saver. I use them every day for my son and they are the perfect bottles for not only him but for any baby really. I swear by these bottles and recommend them to every new mom. The reason why they are so perfect is because all you do is put in a disposable drop-in and put the top on the bottle and you're good to go. So, all you have to really was is the cap, the holder ring and the nipple of the bottle. how awsome is that? I think that is pretty awsome....

mssandling says "Too few pts per item, too many pts for reward, too much 2 ship" about Pampers Gifts to Grow Program

I'm not pleased with this program. You only get 3 points for a regular size package of diapers, you need 100 points to get anything good, the lower points items (a book for 20) costs $6+ to ship, more than it would cost at any book store. The amount of points needed for a free pampers pack coupon is 125, you'd need to buy some 40+ packages (at 3 each) to get a free jumbo pack. Not bad if you ONLY use pampers, but for a parent who can't afford to be picky, you get what's on sale, have a coupon for, or given to you, it's not a worthwhile program. — That said, I logged on one night, had enough points to get the blockbuster night coupon, and when I went to click on it (it was there) it was GONE.... — Not cool. Not happy. Now, I've gotta earn LOTS more points, or spend them on some toy that my kid won't like, that will cost me $10 to ship it to me... Nuh Un. — NO thank you. —...

this is the best gift you can ever give a mom (or dad). anytime i need anything for any of my children, it can invariably by found at babies r us. Sure you can go the same old tired routine of getting something off of the gift registry...however, i find that a gift certificate is equivalent to cash at the store. it really comes in handy when you need diapers, formula, etc. i would love to get one myself. you end up holding onto them and using them with your coupons which makes it worth even more. do yourself and your friend or loved one a favor. give them the gift that gives and gives...a babies r us gift...

I was part of this great program when my first child was born in 2004. It was really fun and I was able to get some great gifts out of it too. Granted, I still paid way more in diapers tan I did for all the gift to grow points but, my kids did like some of the neat toys I was able to get from these points so that was super fun. I still buy pampers for my youngest currently and I do miss those silly little stickers with the codes that I was able to just plug into my gifts to grow website page. Oh well, maybe they will do another program in the future although at that time I will be no longer a mom needing to buy...

Ok, so this isn't the GREATEST rewards program out there, but it is nice to have the opportunity to get something back for all those diaper changes, even if it isn't much. I only use pampers, so of course I decided to participate. It gives me a little (and I must stress LITTLE) something positive about all those boxes of diapers I buy. — — The rewards aren't the best, and there aren't tons to chose from, but I can usually find something fun to redeem my points for. You have to check the site often because the rewards come and go like clockwork. I have learned not to get my heart set on redeeming for a particular item because it may be gone by the time you save enough to get it. The shipping isn't too bad for each item, I have done ebay in the past and know that shipping can be ridiculous, so I don't even flinch at that. On the items I have gotten so far, I have gotten them at about a 50% discount off of retail price if you count the shipping as cost. We have gotten...

shadaram says "No regrets!" about Breastfeeding Opinion

When I got pregnant, I knew that I wanted to try and nurse my baby because of the health benefits. I worked in a maternity store for several years and had heard the ups and downs from many new moms. While pregnant, I read as much material I could so that I could be prepared. Luckily my daughter latched on perfectly and we didn't have any problems, and I am thankful for that. My only problem was keeping her awake long enough to nurse at first, although that changed rather quickly, lol. Even after developing mastitis, I am still a firm believer in breastfeeding. I am still nursing, but working on weaning her, and that is proving to be a huge challenge. — — Nursing is such a wonderful experience for mommy and baby, and of course, everyone knows, a very healthy thing. I didn't plan on going back to work, so we were a little under financially, so this was a natural choice for that very reason, if not for anything else. The money saved was tremendous. There are so many...

I'll try to add some that haven't already been mentioned.. like..... it makes you SKINNY. I AM THINNER NOW THAN BEFORE I GOT PREGNANT. No gym..just exclusively breastfeeding for the first nine months!!!! — If you are a busy mom (and who isn't?)...who has time to prepare bottles and wash them all and how long can you prepare them in advance, anyway?...why stress???? Breastfeeding is food on the fly. Wether you are going out on an outing or to another continent it's one less thing to have to pack or worry about. — I feel for everyone who has had their nipples destroyed.

Every mom wants the best for her child, why wouldn't you breastfeed. Although breastfeeding is hard and tiresome it is the most natural healty way to nurture your newborn baby. The nutrients in breast milk cannot be found else where. Breastfeeding is also good for you too. Your uterius goes through a tough change during pregnancy and has to go back to its original state. Breastfeeding helps this process. Breastfeeding is hard but with help it can be a delightful expirence for you and your new born to have. Your baby needs your warmth and touch and with breastfeeding you can provide that safe and secure feeling to your scared little baby at every meal. Breast feeding is not for everyone but I believe that every mom should try, even if it is only one day, one time in the hospital at birth you baby got nutrients that you provided naturally. There is a particual nutrient that babies get first when you start to breast feed that is vital to the growth of your childs brain. I hope that every...

As a mother of four, I realize the importance of providing the best possible food for your child. Even though people disapporved, I opted to breastfeed each of my children. I will admit, I only went for six months with my first and ten with my second, but my third child went for sixteen months and I'm still nursing my twelve month old. — — The deal is you don't have to be afraid to breastfeed. I know some people get embarrassed, but there's nothing to be afraid of. It's a natural process that God created for babies to be fed by. If you are embarrassed, there's nothing wrong with going to another room to nurse. I have done that plenty of times. But some manufactuers have come out with nursing tops that conceal what you are doing. — — There are many benefits of nursing. Babies tend to get sick less, there is no worry about having to keep formula a certain temperature or the type of formula your child needs. Babies aren't allergic to breastmilk since it's...
