catclan says "The only way to get the job done" about Medela breast pump

Oh man, how I love the Madela breast pump. It totally saved me when I thought I was going to have to give up breastfeeding. I ended up breast feeding each of my three children for two years each. I used the Madela breast pump every time. It's so easy to use and clean and it wasn't too loud. It's small and portable. The price is a little pricey but well worth it. I totally highly recommend this product. I didn't purchase mine though. I rented it from a lactation consultant for three months with each child and I would do it again if I was going to have more children. It was well worth the money. It's convenient and discrete also. You can find it pretty much anywhere breast pumps are sold. It's a highly recommend and reputable company and I totally trusted their product. If you're having trouble bresat feeding go to any lactation consultant and they will tell you the best breast pump is the Madela.
...

babiiangel321 says "Very Good Test." about EPT Pregnanct Test

Pregnancy Test are not always accurate, and often you should get a second test from your ob-gyn. I have used many pregnancy test and the one that i trust is E.P.T. This test is more accurate then the rest. I have two children and with my first i used a few different pregnacy test and it said i was nt pregnant when in fact, i was. i went to the doctor and they confirmed that i was in fact pregnant. with my second daughter, i used E.P.T. and it showed i was pregnant. I would recomend this product to and women that expects they might be pregnant. this test is 99.9% accurate but i feel in my opinion that it in fact work better then any other pregnacy test. So please if you or anyone you know may suspect the might be pregnant please recommend that E.P.T is the best test and most accurate then the rest.
...

jcoandwsf says "This purple shirt made me feel so beautiful!" about Old Navy Maternity Maternity Shirred Banded-Neck Top

My mother gave me this purple maternity tee top for my first pregnancy. I had many shirts, but I really loved this one in particular. This shirt was one of the best maternity gifts I have ever been given. My only regret was that I could not wear it every single day.

The shirt fit snug enough to keep the chill away, yet loose enough for my expanding tummy. The smooth fabric was soft on my skin, making me feel snuggly in cool weather. In warmer weather, the breathable fabric did not make me feel stifled.

I had to cut the tag off, because it was a little scratchy on my neck.

I owned the purple color, which complemented my face nicely. Even though the shirt is a solid color, this color looks very nice with a plain black or gray skirt.

I wore this shirt shopping, eating out, and lounging at home, although since it was such a nice shirt I did not want to do anything to damage it, such as cleaning my house.

I highly recommend this product to everyone, even guys (buy it for your wife!).
...

cheburashka1985 says "Great, but would love it more if it was a double" about Medela Medela Swing Single Electric Breastpump

I Loved this pump. I tried about 13 different pumps ranging from manual, battery operated, and electric pumps. This was the last one I was going to try before completely giving up. I was a regular user. using it regularly for the full 6 months that I breastfed my daughter. I never had any problems with its suction or it being painful.

When I was done with it, my sister used it with her own tubing for the few months that she could get her milk to come out. She only had a problem once with it backing up to the motor, but it didn't break or cause any permenant damage. It wouldn't have happened if she had cleaned every part the night before like she was suppose to.

After she was done with it, she sent it back to me and I loaned it to my friend who went out and got her own tubing as well so that she could try to breastfeed her 2nd daughter. She loved it so much and never had any problems out of it.
...

I've been on the search for a great Christmas gift for one of my best friends and was so delited to find this gorgeous maternity shirt by New Additions. It's a beautiful powder blue , short sleeve shirt that has the most darling tiny stork embrodiered on the upper left side(remember the izod?)I found this little gem while shopping online at Kmart. There were an array of colors to choose from(pink, purple, yellow, blue ect.) most are light or pastel and all have the little stork holding the bundle of joy.I couldn't resist! The material is 95% cotton, 5% spandex and very durable. The price is very affordable too. These shirts are $16, but I got mine for an unbelieveable $2.99 on clearence!Once this shirt arrived, I realized I needed to buy another and this time had to shop elsewhere and pay retail, but whose complaining?I got that one in yellow and immediately gave it to my girlfriend.Needless to say, she loves it and it fits her great,as it is a wonderfully made shirt. It feels so soft and has...
...

luminajd says "Awesome" about Medela Lactina Select

I own a Medela Pump In Style that I use at home to pump, and this pump is provided for me at work. Several of us in my workplace use this pump. One great thing about this pump is that it is a closed system, so multiple women can use itr and not worry about cross contamination. It is quiet, and allows me to have better milk output than my Pump In Style. I know they are expensive and the cost may not be practical for someone who only pumps occasionally, but I think if you have a problem with milk output or are pumping exclusivly, this is the pump for you.

I lvoe that I can pump one or both breasts at the same time.

I dont think it is very friendly to if you want to transport it from place to place, but it rolls easily from one room to the next.

This pump is awesome and I recommend it to the long term pumper. It is very reliable and a very high quality product. It is worth the price, if you can afford it.
...

I have owned this pump and pumped for over 18 months with it. This pump is attractive, easy to use, easy to clean, and quiet. I lvoe that this pump is easy to pack up and take to work with me, which I have to do 5 days a week. It is easy to get settled in the area you are going to pump in. All of the products that come with the pump (bottles, horns, etc) are a bonus and great to use with the pump. This pump is so attractive and discreet that many people dont know what it is you are carrying. It is so quiet that you cant hear it unless you are standing fairly close.

I love the storage in teh top of the pump, it allows me to carry my storage bags, horns, etc all in the pump area, so I dont have to have a seperate carrying bag for my pumping tools. I have purchased many Medela items in the past and have always found them to be of great quality. I haev never had to return anything by Medela.
...

brenrobinsommers says "The most comfortable nursing bra." about Bravado Bravado Nursing Bra

I bought the Bravado Nursing bra online and I love it. It is by far the most comfortable bra that I have. I had several others and the Bravado one is the only one that is still going strong. I have had to throw most of the others away and I had them for the same length of time. So this bra is not only comfotable, it also is high quality. It is a bit on the pricey side, atleast for me but I would say that it was well worth it. After you are done with them they still have value so you could get some of your money back through ebay or another site like that. There are many places that will sell the Bravado nursing bras, so look around and find the best deal. they also come in many cute designs which is a major plus in my book. As all of the other places only have white or black or neutral. How boring is that! I really think that this bra is well worth every penny that I spent and am so glad that I bought it! beware though that I thought the sizes ran a little small. ...
...

princess85 says "Lives up to it's name" about Clear Blue Easy to Read Digital Test

I noticed a few symptoms and first off bought a cheap pregnancy test at our local store. You would think a couple of straight lines would be easy to read, but I wasn't sure if the test malfunctioned or what. I did everything correctly, and at first it came up negative... then it came up positive in less than a minute after waiting... then it came up as a mis-read. I didn't know what to believe. Luckily that same week I saw the commercial for the Clear Blue Digital pregnancy test. I returned to the store and bought it. I felt silly having to buy a digital one, but once you have so many problems with the little cheapy ones, you'd learn to appreciate the digital. No problems with instructions or anything. It clearly reads "pregnant" or "not pregnant". I definately say it was "easy to read". The results came back "pregnant", and we're now starting our 2nd trimester, and are very glad for the test. With the pack I bought, it came with two tests, and I gave the other one to a family member. I...
...

gayleb-1963 says "The Playtex Breast Pump is good quality for the price." about Playtex Breast Pump

We bought the Playtex breast pump after our son was born. We couldn't afford a Medella or a Lansinoh so I did extensive research on the mid-priced pumps. After reading many reviews and comparing features, the Playtex was the one I chose. Some of the features I like are the silicone breast cups, the variable suction and being able to use the same bottles and liners for pumping and feeding.
One of the things I don't like about the pump is that the connectors that attach the air hose to the pump are easily broken. You can attach the hose directly to the pump but then you have to set it up on something so the hose doesn't kink. The pump is less efficient when you try to pump both breasts at once. It takes about the same amount of time to pump one and then the other as to pump both at once.
All things considered, I am pleased with the pump and would buy it again if something happened to the one I have now.
...

I really liked using this product. It was very discreet and the pump and accessorises all fit into a cute tote bag, a little larger than a lunch tote, so it was very easy to take back and forth to work with me. The pump can be plugged in if you have access or it can run on AA batteries (I just bought chargeable). The regular double pump that I used came with Soothie bottles that my daughter had no trouble using and the bottles attach right to the pump. The deluxe version comes with additional attachments so that you can use different bottles or milk storage bags and I wished later that I had spent the extra few dollars to have had that option. It is very affordable to buy additional bottles to go with this pump as well. The pump and accessorises are very easy to keep clean and sterile and it was easy to quickly assemble the product. I had no complaints with this product and I definitely felt like I got my moneys worth. I also have to commend the First Years customer service...
...

wallest02 says "Fit great, lasted all summer (from 6 - 9 mo pregnant)" about Liz Lange Tankini

I love! love! love! this swimsuit.

The bottom covers everything - and is solid black.

The top is a halter top, tying behind the neck with a little ruffle along the front neck line. I wore this while I was six, seven and eight months pregnant - I went to the pool about two or three times a week during those months and got numerous compliments on this swimsuit. It is plain, but when you are a pregnant woman at a pool, or on the beach, do you really need anything else to grab the attention of strangers? I felt self-conscious anyway, I didn't think I needed a fuschia swimsuit :)

well, it fit great, lasted all summer, still looks great - no fading, rips, stains...

I wore a separate black swimskirt with it sometimes to change it up a little and that worked out well too - being black, it was easy to find other things to match with it.

i would recommend this halter/tankini swimsuit to any pregnant woman!!
...

I have loved this breast pump. I am a part-time working mom of two girls 2 1/2 years and 8 months. I bought this breast pump when I was pregnant with my oldest. I liked the look of the back pack because it is discreet enough to bring it to work with me without any one knowing it is a breast pump. There is also room for milk storage with the back pack, which has really come in handy for me because I do home health and need storage while on the road. The car attachment accessory that can be purchased seperately works great as well. Mine also came with a hand pump. I haven't used it very often but it has come in handy when I traveled on a airplane and didn't want to bring the electric pump. With my oldest I had a ton of milk so pumping was very easy, however, with the baby now, my milk supply is less. I have found that I need to pump on the highest level in order to express milk. I was worried that it would be very painful but it has not been uncomfortable at all. The pump is very easy to...
...

I've had 2 problems with these tests. First time around I got a positive and then went to my doctor on the same day, and the test was negative. When I called the helpline they said I must have had a miscarriage (not possible, since I had one before and would have recognized it) or an ovarian cyst (also not possible). So basically I am the .1% that is for an error. I did not think you could get a false positive. I was so devastated as we had been trying for a while. Second time around I bought the drugstore brand. I got an error message, well technically a blank screen - the symbol just went away. So I called the hotline and it is actually the same company that makes the store brand and the clear blue brand. Six months of trying and all the bad tests are frustrating! At least I know if I buy the store brand to save money it is all made by the same people! I would stick with the standard line test if I were you!
...

When i got pregnant the first time, I was lucky and didn't need any maternity pants, but I did need tops as I was having twins. Old Navy was the place I shopped for the tops, they have great clearance deals on shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc. Now, my second time around I wasn't so lucky and needed some bottoms. When I started looking at Maternity jeans and other bottoms I thought "WOW, these are so expensive for something you only wear a few months." I looked at old navy again and found their prices to be at least 1/2 or more of what other stores were charging, plus they usually have coupons to use online (the only place I could buy them) that make the clothes an even sweeter deal. By shopping at Old Navy for all of my Maternity needs this time around I got my whole wardwrobe for under 200.00, the clothes are quality, mine haven't shrunk any, and they are a great price, what else can you ask for!
...

I can't even tell you how much I love this breast pump. With my oldest daughter, I breastfed but had a small electric single pump by Medela that didn't work very well and took FOREVER to pump and was pretty painful to boot. After I had my youngest daughter, a friend of mine offered me her used Medela Pump In Style backpack double pump, and my life changed forever. I'm lucky to stay home with my girls, so I didn't have to use my pump up at work, but it was invaluable for creating a store of breastmilk for times when I didn't produce enough for my daughter (occasionally I would have lulls in my breastmilk production), or having extra for when I had to be away for short periods of time. I am so thankful to my friend for giving me her Medela, and I am now giving it to my friend for her use when her baby arrives in February. It is my hope that this particular pump gets a lot of use - it's such a wonderful product!
...

Motherhood maternity jeans do look very nice, they are super flattering and do wonders for a very pregnant figure! Alas, they are pretty pricey though and in some ways not worth it. Maybe it's because I am a shorter, slightly heavier set girl (about a size 14) but I found that I could only get the jeans to stay up when I was really big in my third trimester. I bought some belly band things that helped them to stay up before and after, but I was still disappointed. During my last pregnancy one of the thing I loved was still having my maternity jeans after as stylish, comfy jeans. These jeans are hard to do that with. The panel also tended to bunch up under the bustline, again maybe because I'm short (5'2"). Also, the panel eventually frays in the wash. One pair I had frayed within the first two weeks and another pair took about six months. That doesn't help with the staying up problem and trying to untangle all your other clothes from them in the wash is difficult. So...
...

alright these days there are like a million types of pregancy tests and the only ay you can actually find one worth trusting is if you overpay for the product and even then there is alawys a chance your anwser could be wrong i know a girl who knew she was pregant she was told by her docter and just to test this same theroy she bought eight tests and they were all the cheap ones from the dollar store all said negative but she was indeed pregant now the other ones do they not realize how much money you spend during the pregnancy and after well ya they do they just dont care why pay all this money when you can find out for free from your doctor and that way you know the result is more likely to be accurate then any store bought test and the funny part is they say in the instructions if it comes out postive to go to the doctor's and then the doctor's test you again to make sure they also say if you feel the test is wrong then go to your docter well now there should be no reason for...
...

LUNAAMOR says "They are a complete lifesaver" about Soothies Soothie pacifier

This pacifier was given to her at the hospital where she was born. At first I did not wanted for her to use a pacifier but she has this intense need to suck . So she was always nursing, I had always seen this new pacifiers that apparently supported breastfeeding and blah blah blah . All the thing they say to make you believe they are better than the next company .

Well i tried to get her to use some of those pacis that are fancy. Biggest mistake of my life she will not take them. She will just gag with them and will always pushed them out of her mouth.

I was truly mad since the fancy pacifiers were more expensive and the only thing that i needed for her. Was already given to me at the hospital.

So I'm just glad i had these pacis she LOVES them and they keep her happy and content.

They are also really easy to clean and sanitize since they are just one piece. so you dont have to worry about any germs staying longer than they need

bachichasurvey says "great product" about Motherhood Maternity Nursing Bra #943005

I bought two nursing bras recently from Motherhood Maternity and thought that they worked great. I would recommend them to all new mothers. They had a variety of colors. My favorite thing about them was the fact that the clip on them didn't show through my shirts. So no one could tell that I was wearing a nursing bra. They offered great support and the fabric was comfortable. Also the sales people were great about helping to find the right size. They were priced rather high for the use, but I couldn't have lived without them. I would definantly reccommed them.
...
