I used my Eddie Bauer "B" is for Bear Wooden Highchair for my son (who is now almost 4) and my daughter (who is a little over 2) and it hardly looks used! It has a removeable/machine washable cover and I bought another Eddie Bauer cover to alternate (that matched the rest of my Eddie Bauer line I had when my son was born). It's easy to clean, very sturdy and durable and looks like a nice piece of furniture and not just a cheap highchair. It runs about $130.00 at Babies R Us and my opinion is that it is worth every penny.

Another positive feature is that it has a plastic cover under the tray (so if they tray comes off or if you take it off there is still a complete band around your child so they won't fall out!

The only negitive thing I can say about it is that the trays do stain (when feeding your child an orange or red baby food or meal... like carrots or spaghetti) I guess that's going to happen with anything in white plastic though. If you soak it in a bleach-water solution...
...

khotek says "Great adjustable space saving option" about Fisher Price Healthy Car Booster

I LOVE this booster. It is fully adjustable, and is easy to adjust without spending forever trying to decipher some poorly written directions. The height can be adjusted to accomodate different size tables, and to grow with your child. There are straps to securely fasten the seat to any chair. I'm sure there a some chairs out there this might not work with, but I can't really think of any :) I can't really think of any negatives, but I can list all the things I love about this seat:

1. PRICE! It's much cheaper than full size high chairs.

2. Great size. We have a fairly small dining room, and I didn't want a big bulky high chair taking up much needed space.

3. Adjustable; grows with your child. I was able to use this for years. It was nice that once my daughter was old enough she could climb in it herself, something that would not have been safe with a larger high chair.

4. Very easy to clean. The pieces are small enough to fit well in the dishwasher.

5. Portability. This was very easy to...
...

HaydensMom08 says "Looks nice, but very big!" about Chicco Polly Highchair

My husband and I decided to buy the Chicco Polly highchair because we were buying the matching carseat, stroller and play yard. I loved the look of the highchair and thought it would look good in our dining room.

I did not like the harness on the high chair. We started our son in the highchair when he was 4 months old and we tried using the harness, but it really just got in his way. We ended up not using the shoulder straps and just used the straps around his waist.

The Chicco Polly highchair was a pain to clean. You had to clean it right away or things would get caked on fast. I liked that the tray is able to go on the dishwasher, but one time washing the cover in the washing machine, it never seemed the same again.

It also is not the easiest to fold and put away. It was such a hassle that we ended up leaving it unfloded and in our dining room at all times because my husband and I had trouble folding it. The tray can be hard to slip off either.

My son is now in a booster seat and we love...
...

I love the Evenflo Expressions high chair! It's so easy to put together, easy to use. Love the adjustable seat and that it reclines, and it's so easy to adjust. I love the chair cover because it's so easy to clean (my son has thrown-up in it a few times!), you can just wipe it off and it does not retain any smell or stain. This high chair is also lightweight. Cons: It's bulky so I can't take it along when we travel as it takes up too much space in my car. Other than that, for around $60, it's a great highchair.

Every parent should have their child's safety and best interest at heart. Children at a small age start to develop the necessary skills that will help them form and transform into adults. The fisher price rain forest high chair i believe is an overall great investment. If you are looking for for a great high chair that isnt going to break the bank, then this is the right chair for you. The high chair has seven height adjustments along with three reclining positions. It has lockable casters on the wheels for mobility along with the fact that it folds for storage. It comes with a hand removable tray that is also dishwasher safe. that way you can have a piece of mind knowing that germs are not going to be a continual factor. Their is also teething toys that come with the chair that are attached for when your child gets grumpy with teething. The chair also comes with removable toys that your child can play with. it has a music mode that plays five minutes of continuous music along with a...
...

This chair is wonderful for our small house. We do not have a separate dining room, meanning that we have a table and four chairs in our already too-small kitchen. We knew there was no way we could fit a high chair in on top of everything else - the answer was this little chair. It is easy to set up and use - just strap it to a chair and go! It is very easy to remove from the chair to be able to take it to grandma's house or wherever.

I have been using this chair with my son since he was about 2 months old - there are four different positions, so the chair can adjust as the child grows (he is a supported sitter now so we have it on the second position). The buttons to adjust are a little tricky at first and tend to stick, though - I feel almost like I need a third hand to do it. The tray is very easy to put on and take off. The chair (without the tray) will scooch in under our table in the second position (I think this would depend on your own chair and table heights) but...
...

We received this high chair as a gift off of our registry. We started using it when our baby was about 4 months old and starting table foods. It has multiple hight adjustments, as well as the ability to recline in 3 positions. The tray slides easily and has a removable tray if you want to run it through the dishwasher. We find it easier just to wipe the tray down at this point. The seat back fabric cleans easily and is stylish. I don't remember the name of the pattern, but it is brown and blue- it matches our decor nicely. The high chair does fold flat, but we find it easier to leave it set up in the corner of the room. The problem with the fold, although very slim, it that there is no place to put the tray. Another problem is that the five-point harness, although very safe, tends to get lost under the baby when trying to strap him in. He is very impatient to be fed, and it is hard to find the straps under him. Overall, this highchair is easy to clean, lightweight,...
...

I got this highchair for my baby shower and I absolutely love it! It was extremely easy to put together. It only took about 15 minutes from start to finish, my son and husband put it together. The cover goes on and comes off extremely easy. The seat can recline in 4 separate positions. It can also be raised or lowered to seven different heights. The recline is one handed operation and the height is just two levers you push in. Also included is one toy that snaps onto the tray. The tray has several 'break-apart' trays that add for easy clean-up. I will admit these are not the easiest things to take apart or put back together. Though I do love that the tray is removable and dishwasher safe. The pattern is really cute circus themed and would work for either a boy or girl. The cover is a vinyl type material so can be washed off if a simple spill occurs. All in all I say this is a great value highchair.
...

I don't like the Eddie Bauer Natural Wood High Chair at all. It looks great, and I bought it because I knew I wanted to have several children and I though that a wooden high chair would give me longevity so it could be used and passed down from one child to the next. It looks nice in our kitchen, but that's about it. The seat belt is a joke and both of my kids learned how to get out of it by standing up in no time. Then the tray doesn't fasten close to the childs body so once the kid stands up it's easy for them to get out and try to climb over the try. If the tray could fasten closer to the childs body so they couldn't easy squirm out it would help. Also, once my daughter got older she would pull up on the front of the high chair using the foot rest and climb over the tray and into the chair. This was all too scary for me so once I discovered that both children could get out we had to buy something else to keep them safe. I didn't get as much use out of this as I had hoped.
...

I absolutely love this chair!! My son has been using this chair since he was 4 months old, and didn't sit that well. It supported him from day one. I love the fact that you can adjust the height on it VERY easily. I can feed him at the table, at the island in the kitchen at another height, or while I am lounging on the couch. I think in all it has 5 height changes. I love that you can remove the tray to wash it easily, or even stick it in the dish washer. He loves the toy that is on the tray, but for those times where he loves it TOO much and wants to play and not eat - it can easily be removed. Also, I love that the material can easily be washed off with soap and water. It is more plastic than cloth, so it doesn't get wet and you can just wipe it down. One more feature that I love are the wheels! I can store it somehwere else, and roll it into the kitchen when I need it. All in all, I highly reccomend this product.
...

The Safety First Deluxe Fold up booster seat is easy to use and space saving. I use it instead of a regular highchair so that my kitchen is not overrun by a huge highchair. This chair straps under the chair and behind the chair. It is easy to unhook and take with you when traveling, or going out to eat. One drawback is the tray is difficult to pop on and off. It does come with a removeable tray that sits on top of the main tray so that it can go in the dishwasher. My child though like to take off this top tray and throw it. So we don't use it that often. The back of the seat lifts up and then folds down for portability. If you hook the straps, you can use it as an over the shoulder carrier. I have used this since my son was able to sit up on his own and begin to eat. He is now 17 months old and still fits comfortably in the seat. It does have straps so the child stays safe as well.

My husband and I purchased three of these seats for our 9 month old triplets. They are very cute, fun for the kids, seemed comfortable for smaller children. When purchasing them I compared with other models how easy it was to handle the chair with one hand, Seemed to work great. It has wheels that lock that somehow constantly get locked and that can be very irritating. One tray varies from the other two and the children can reach under and push on to the floor making a huge mess. The seat cushions come off but found out the hard way they are not machine washable even on delicate - piping came off. Seat belts stain very bad. The area to rise up and down has plastic cracked. The legs are much larger than they seem and cause a tripping hazard. But out of all of that they have unfinished areas that the kids can reach and comes very dirty and the only way to really clean them is to take them outside and hose them off and use a brush in the nooks. Maybe for one child they may not be......

I bring it into restaurants & friend's houses. I use it when we travel for vacation & to trips to family's houses!

It is perfect because my daughter plays while she is waiting for her food & then I remove the toy tray, feed her & then after I wioe it down she can play again when I snap it back on! The toys are fun for her and also keep her busy while I get to eat without holding her!

We use a traditional high chair in our dining room when we eat as a family at meal time, but for any other time we use the Fisher-Price Rainforest Booster seat. We use this booster in the living room with our eight month old son, and it is just perfect! We have the chair sitting on the floor, it is not even strapped to a chair, and it works perfectly for us. We NEVER leave baby unattended in his booster on the floor, and it keeps him contained and entertained for meals and snacks. I love the snap-in play tray. The monkey and bananas are fun for baby to play with, and he loves spinning the tree toy, too. I loke the colors of the chair, too! The eating tray snaps in very easily, seems to be really safe, and cleans up really well. It is lightweight enough to travel well, too. The seat portion of this booster is a little on the small side, and the back is not very tall, so if you have a wide bottomed, chunky thighed baby this may not be very comfortable for them.
...

This seat is a great concept, and I think when they make some improvements with the second and third models it will be fantastic. It is very light weight and easy to clip to the chair, and I even have one of those chairs with armrests that goes all the way around so I was almost worried it would not fit. The straps are a little difficult to get on and off, but not so much that it makes much of a difference. The company says not to machine wash the cover, but I do it once in a while and have not had any issues. My only problem is that if something gets underneath the seat, you have to not only clean it out but leave the cover off for a while or it gets moldy very easily. I am a huge clean freak so this bothered me quite a bit when I had to clean out mold every week. I think the reason is because the cover is not very breathable. The design is nice, but I wish they had other options when I purchased it. It doesn't look tacky if you take the whole thing off though, and in fact you are supposed...
...

piu911 says "Fisher-Price Rainforest Healthy Care High Chair" about Fisher Price Rainforest Healthy Care High Chair #K2927

After 7 kids in a sturdy Perego high chair (which I replaced the seat pad once & found a whole chair replacement another time on ebay), I was disapointed it would need to be replaced again for my 8th child. Since they no longer make the pads and I was not happy with the new style - or spending $200 . . . . I came here first to see what other options were out there.
Anyway - the first alternative I saw was this cute Rainforest chair! I was sold right away from the picture, the price, and the reviews! I quickly checked out some other chairs - but, nothing else came close. The Perego we had was sturdy, basic looking, white & chrome . . . . this time around we are going for cheap and fun! It is definitly more light weight - but it actually seems ok - sturdy enough! The seat could use some more padding - I'm going to take the extra little pillow rest from the car seat and stick it under the seat and that should work. We do not have the tray problem that others have mentioned - it is snug and...
...

blueprairie says "Would buy it again in a heartbeat!" about Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair (Kinderzeat)

I love this high chair and so does my now 3 year old. We bought this chair primarily because of the removable T-bar. This is because my daugther had to wear a brace for club foot 23-hours a day until she began walking. Because of the brace, we were unable to use a lot of high chairs because it was either too difficult or impossible to get her in and out.

That may be why we bought it, but its not why I LOVE it. I love it because it feels like furniture. I love it because my toddler has been able to climb into it safely for a long time. I love it because when she slides it across the tile floor to reach the counter it is quiet and doesn't damage the floor. I just love it. Well worth the money.
...

goldenhunnie says "Best high chair hands down!" about Eddie Bauer Wooden High Chair, Newport Collection

I wanted to express how much I absolutely love this high chair. Eddie Baur's wooden high chair is so much easier to wash than the plastic high chairs that are on the market. This chair has two removable trays that are very easy to clean. It has a cushion that straps on and is easy to remove when washing is needed. My favorite characteristic about this chair is that it blends in with my modern look in my home. I feel that the retail price of this chair is fair considering the look and comfortness of it. If you have ever been on craigslist or looked in the newspaper for high chairs, you would notice that these wooden chairs have a high resale value. This wonderful chair is equipped with a 3-point harness, safetyy bar for restraint, and special pull out cup holder to keep their juice at a distance! The chair also includes a rear storage compartment which is nice for bibs. Last but least, this chair has 4 adjustments which allows it to grow with your child! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have....
...

anniedayton says "You get what you pay for...Cheap!" about Safety First Sit, Snack, and Go

The Safety First Sit, Snack, and Go Booster seat first appealed to me because it attached to my regular dining room chairs, without taking up the premium floor space in my home that a high chair would have. I also initially liked that it could grow with your baby/toddler in that it was an adjustable height. But was I disappointed when I took it out of its box. It was easy to set up but extremely cheap. I should have known but it's approximately $25 price tag. The thing that I hated most about it was that the strap that came up between the legs was extremely short so instead of the buckles going around the waist, they came over the thighs. I didn't feel like my baby felt secure. And the straps were quite difficult to adjust. I put it right back in the box and am going to see if I can return it. The plastic seems like it would be easy to clean but it just doesn't look or feel like a quality piece. I don't think that it would last. I would rather pay a little more for something that will last....
...
