I bought this toddler bed when my husband and I finally decided that it was time to move our 20 month old out of the crib. we were expecting and needed the crib for our new addition to our family. Of course I was skeptical at first, what kind of bed would I get for such a low price. My husband is all about cheap, cheap, cheap. AM more about quality. Needless to say with this Dorel Walmart toddler Bed I got what I wanted at a very affordable price of $57.62. It is easy to assemble, and dependable (it wont break apart whenever your child goes threw those terrible twos). Plus it made the transaction easy for my toddler with the side rails on both sides making her feel secure. Cherry is just one of the finishes it comes in but it was our choice just because that was the color her old crib and it made her feel even more like she was still in it. Now that she is older (3), it is still in great shape. It turned out to be real sturdy. It has survived two moves and a very hyper toddler. We loved...
...

Baby's Dream Furniture of Buena Vista, Georgia has been the subject of several investigative reports by Channel Two News in Atlanta, GA. An independent laboratory tested cribs and baby furniture produced by the company. The results were very high levels of formaldehyde in the materials used to construct the cribs and all of the furniture tested. My wife and I were amazed to learn how dangerous formaldehyde is and contacted the manufacturer to discuss our concerns. Baby's Dream ran us in circles for over two weeks and offered us no help in resolving the problem The company simply states that they currently produce a safe product but were not required to do so when we purchased our crib a year ago. Baby's Dream has not behaved like a reputable company and should be avoided at all costs.
...

adrienne4 says "The bedroom in a box is so nice to have." about Walmart Disney Bedroom in a Box - Tinkerbell

I absolutely love the walmart bedroom in a box, it is less expensive than buying everything seperately, and it comes in boy designs too. My daughter has the dora bedroom in a box, but it is still that same thing! I got mine at walmart for 100 dollars and all you have to buy is the mattress which could be the one from your crib. My daughter loves the little cloth bins that she can put her clothes and shoes in! I like how the bed is just her size! She likes the table and the chairs that also come with it. I had went to the store to price just the bed and it is 74 dollars so if you buy the whole set you are getting a very great deal! Not only does it come with a little table but matching chairs and cloth like bins for clean/dirty clothes, shoes, toys, or whatever you prefer! I know that I don't regret buying the bedroom in a box because my child enjoys sleeping in her own bed,and it makes sleeping fun! I will continue to buy this product for each one of my children.
...

We bought a Disney Princess Toddler Bed In A Box that came with a canopy, a rocking chair, and 6 bin organizer for our 18m old granddaughter for Christmas who in now 3 1/2 years old now. I can say that it is worth the money, we paid for it. We did have to buy a crib mattress for it, which we only had to pay $35. for at Walmart.

We thought when we bought it, that she would use it at just naptime, this wasn't the case. From the first time, she went to lay down for a nap we haven't had any problems with her taking a nap or going at bedtime. She never slept through the night when she was in her crib.

We paid $119.99 for it. We were hesitant as first, but since we knew she would only be using it for a couple years we went ahead and purchased it. It isn't sturdy like a more expensive toddler bed, like the wooden bed. But it is plenty sturdy. I have sat on her bed to read to her at naptime, it hasn't wobble at all.

I was so excited to be able to buy my son a real wood bed and not a plastic bed and the cost of this new one was cheaper than what some folks wanted on craigslist for a used one so thought we would try it.

I am very glad we did! It has held up very well for us and he just loves his bed. It can support my weight as well if I lay with him for a book or to tuck him in.

A couple issues you should be aware of though- It is VERY VERY VERY difficult to put together. Some of our bottom pieces were warped so getting them all in the channel and lined up to put the other side on took 3 of us and many many tries. It was awful! It also nicks VERY easily. I bumped it with my vaccuum handle and it chipped so be super careful with it. But then again - for only 50 bucks and something so sturdy that is a small price to pay.

The cherry color is very nice, looks so much nicer in my opinion than the plastic toddler beds!
...

AngiBowman says "Long-Lasting at a Low Price" about LA Baby 3 Shelf Wood Changing Table

When I was pregnant with my first child, I was in the hospital at 30 weeks with pre-eclampsia. I couldn't do ANYTHING to get ready for this baby. The nursery wasn't set up. Nothing.

It wasn't surprising that just a few weeks later, our son shocked us all and immediately went to the NICU. Between shuffling from home to the hospital and trying to recoop, I was exhausted. We set up a pack and play and turned to the changing table, our first "real" piece of furntiure. Neither my husband or I wanted to put it together, but we knew it had to be done.

This changing table surprised us both. We put it together within 10 minutes and have used it now for more than four years. It has been used for everything and continues to hold diapers, wipes and spare linen for the crib with ease. We've never worried that the table couldn't hold our child - even when our son decied to jump on it with all his mite.

If you do get this table, I would advise investing in some nice baskets to help make the room look...
...

MRSverret says "This is not quality" about Disney Pixar Cars, Lightning McQueen Toddler Bed

For my youngest son's first birthday we decided it would be best to get him a toddler bed. So my mom bought him the Disney Pixar Cars Lightning McQueen bed. It was cute and looked like the right bed for him.

So after the birthday party I decided to put it together. I couldn't wait! My little boy was going to be in a big boy bed. When I took it out of the box it seemed to be a cute and well made bed. The headboard had a few Cars characters and it had a sturdy steel frame and there were two bed rails. The bed rails can be removed so the bed grows with your child.

Once I started to read the directions and put the bed apart something became apparent. This was a cheaply made bed. NONE of the screws fit in the pre-drilled holes. I tried and tried to force the screws in, nothing worked. I was upset. The next day I returned it to the store. It is a cute bed and looks sturdy but I will never find out. I ordered a cheaper, better quality, and much cuter bed than this one.

For my youngest son's first birthday we decided to get him a toddler bed. He was getting to the point where he didn't want to be confined to his crib. So, first his birthday my mom bought him a bed, it was a Cars toddler bed. We went to put it up that night and none of the screws fit in the pre-drilled holes. I packed it up and returned it the next day. Wal-Mart didn't have many toddler beds in stock so I went to walmart.com. They were actually having a sale on the walnut Dorel Toddler Sleigh Bed. It was only $50! I ordered it immediately.

With only paying $50 and furniture coming from Wal-Mart, I didn't expect much. When it was delivered I opened the box and was immediately happy. It was such a great color. I got to building right away. The instructions that were included were a little vague and one part was almost impossible to put together with only one person. It took about an hour but I did it!

The end result was this gorgeous, expensive-looking toddler bed that I only paid fifty...
...

The George Baby - Avalon 4-Piece Crib Set is a pink and brown bedding that is beautiful for any baby girl's new room. The contemporary design of various sized cicles and dots keeps baby in a modern fashionable look without going over budget. I love the pink and brown combination and this design is fresh and so cute. The whole crib set consists of the fitted crib sheet, comforter, bumper pad, and dust ruffle. The sheet and dust ruffle do come out pretty stiff and rough but are perfect for baby after a good wash (with baby sensitive laundry detergent of course!). The comforter is so soft and plush for baby. However for my newborn, I am afraid to put it over her so I lay her on top of it and just lay a light blankie on top. The comforter does not fit the whole mattress. It leaves space just in case you do put it over baby, it still shouln't overwhelm her. I'm just overprotective I think. Overall, a beautiful set for my beautiful baby.
...

AngiBowman says "Perfect Seating for Your Little Bookworm" about Harmony Kids Micro Club Chair

My two year old loves two things: books and chairs. She is more than happy to sit in a chair or on a couch and read an endless amount of books. When her birthday rolled around, we realized that it would be appropriate to find her a chair that was just her size. After trying on the in-store options at Toys R Us and Target and finding nothing, we turned to the Internet and found just what we needed - Harmony Kids' Micro Club Chair and Ottoman

The Chair

Glance at it on a website and you'll fall in love. It's adorable, looks soft and cuddles and appears just the perfect fit for your little princess. In reality, that's exactly what it is - it's an upholstered chair with an upholstered ottoman that is available in seven colors (yellow, green, purple, pink, navy, chocolate and beige).

You can find it available at several online stores, but the best prices and selection we found was at www.toysrus.com.

The Pros

This chair really is the entire package. It's very light compared to what you may think...
...

Bookoholic says "the best bouncer in the world" about Leap frog Leap frog magic moments learning seat

The leap frog magic moments learning seat is a bouncer my son enjoys. It has three vibrating levels, and the vibrating goes off after a certian period of time. It also comes with a bar up a head of the baby in the seat. It has three colors of animals. blue fish, yellow lion, red bird. The bar also lights up and has three different settings. The first setting when the animals are hit tells the child the animal he just hit. The next setting tells them the animal they hit and what that animal does. The last setting sings to the child, three different classical songs. Also the bouncer where it lights up when the bar is singing, or telling the child about the animals is also like a mirror. I love this bouncer becuase it also doesn't eat up all my batteries. Becuase the vibrating goes off at a certian period of time. Also to save batteries the bar will stop singing or telling the child things after a period of time. Both my son and I love this bouncer he loves becuase it talks and lights up,...
...

Graco Lauren 4 in 1 Convertible Drop Side Crib was bought by us for our baby whom we are expecting any time soon. We got it in the rich Espresso color for almost $140.00 from a Target store during a promotional period and it came with a free mattress too.

It looks very rich and elegant for such a reasonale price. It is a convertible bed and can easily be changed into a toddler bed, day bed and full bed for the baby and can be used for many years. The mattress can be kept in three different adjustible places depending on the age of your child.

Assembling the crib was a breeze and we did not find any difficulty while putting it together. My only concern is that even after placing the thick mattress in the uppermost place possible, we still find that it's very low for an infant to be placed. It would be difficult to lift the baby especially during the first few months when he'll have to be fed at regular intervals.

I will recommend it.
...

My sons crib was recalled at 15 months. I decided to go with a toddler bed instead of buying another crib that he would only use a few months. I saw this toddler bed on Toys R Us website and though it was well priced. We went out to buy the bed, read through the directions and though, "hmm this would be easy to put together" we were very wrong!!! The Lightning McQueen Toddler Bed was a royal pain in the butt to put together! The screw holes in the polls that support the bed did not match up well at all. The whole time putting this crib together we felt like we were having to bend metal just to get the pieces to fit together. Unless you are superman, this is no easy defeat. My friend bought the same bed for her son and her holes lined up perfectly. The problem is that you don't know what you got until you begin putting it together.

Other than the HORRIBLE set up the bed is sturdy and my 15 month old loves it.
...

I decided on this bed mostly because of the cost-$55 at Walmart and partly because it's made of wood and not plastic. I read alot of the reviews before I made my final decision to buy. The reviews were right the thing is easy to put together except for the slats on the headboard and footboard. What a pain! You put half of them in and the other half falls out. But I got it. So far the bed is working out pretty well. Altough my daughter gets up in the middle of the night and keeps coming into our room. She loves going to bed in her big girl bed but doesn't seem to want to stay! We'll work it out though. The bed is sturdy and I'm sure it will last until she goes into her full size bed later on down the road.
...

He will come in my room maybe 2 to 3 times out of the month but other than that he loves sleeping in his own bed. His first time sleeping in his new bed was kinda scary for me because I was afraid that he would wiggle to the other end of the bed where there were no protective rails and sometimes he did and I would see him hanging off of his bed either head first or feet first but he hasn't ever completely fell out of his bed and hurt himself. The bed was extremely hard to put together but it was well worth it because my baby loves having his very own bed.
...

byubelle22 says "This bumper gave me great peace of mind!" about Breathable Baby Bumper

I first heard of the Breathable Baby Bumper from a yahoo groupI was a part of. I didn't know such a thing existed- you don't see them on the shelves at the store- bumpers always match the rest of the bedding and are thick and UNbreathable! I thought it was a funny idea until I actually needed one!

My baby was wiggling right out of her swaddles and all over the crib as soon as we got home from the hospital. I immediately removed the regular bumper because I was afraid she'd smother herself on it. I thought that would solve the problem. But she started getting her arms and legs stuck through the slats in the crib! So, I got online and found myself a breathable bumper! I had no idea what to expect.

I figured it would just be a "bumper-shaped" piece of mesh-like material- breathable, but kept arms and legs in the crib. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was thick and soft- enough so that baby has some cushion from the hard slats of the crib. And it sure is breathable! I smothered my face...
...

lilmsmysteria says "Better than the Close & Secure for Sharing Bed with Baby" about Dex DEX 3-in-1 Travel Genie, Diaper Bag, Changing Station & Port-a-bed

DEX 3-in-1 Travel Genie, Diaper Bag, Changing Station & Port-a-bed

The DEX 3-in-1 Travel Genie is a must for parents and babies on the go. This convenient travel system is a diaper bag, changing station and portable bed all in one.

Features convenient, padded carrying strap

Extra large pockets to store all of babies essentials

Includes insulated bottle and food sleeves

After reading reviews for the Close & Secure Infant Bed I decided to go with this one as the Baby in the middle bed. It is not only much more roomy making it possible to use a sleep positioner and baby noggin pillow to prevent flat heads. I think Baby will be more comfortable and items needed will be able to be on hand without having to get up in the middle of the night and get them.

Baby is not here yet but as soon as she arrives and we put it to the real test. I will be back to let you know how it goes.

I found mine NEW on eBay for a real good price but they are also available at other places, such as WalMart although at...
...

gmni98 says "Beautiful bedding for a little girl! " about Pottery Barn Kids Pink Daisy Garden

When I first opened the Pottery Barn Baby catalogue after finding out I was having a girl, my heart raced. They have so much to choose from! I knew I wanted pink, after having done the sports theme for my son. I was going to make this little girl VERY girly!! I fell in love with the Pink Daisy Garden theme immediately. I wanted to purchase the crib bumpers, the matching sheet and the matching comforter. The price was high, so I started looking at online at my options. I ended up buying a gift card someone was selling on ebay and I paid less than what the gift card was worth! The bedding is 2 years old now and still in excellent condition. The ties on the bumpers are sturdy and haven't ripped off like some of the cheaper bumpers do. The pattern is beautiful, with pink as the background color and daisies in various colors all over it. I also went to ebay and found a seller who makes matching drawer pulls and switchplates in the Pink Daisy Garden pattern, and I bought those for my daughter's...
...

jenniflh says "great for small rooms" about target natural diaper corner baby changing table

I got this changing table from target for our daughters room which is very small. I like the look of the table since it also has shelfes for storage. The table was very easy to put together with just a few tools. It isn't the best of quality but you get what you pay for. I really love that this table for it has the baby's legs towards you making it a lot easier to change the baby. This is the only changing table that I have seen that has this quality. The center shelfs are the perfect size for baskets which we kept diapers in. On the side shelfs they are a little harder to utalize for they are triangle shape, but they work good for books. I did not like the cover they give for the changing pad. It didn't sit on it right. It was easier to just use the pad without the cover so it whiped clean really easy. I really enjoy this changing table from target and it can be used afterwards for storage by just taking of the changing pad.
...

Bilks says "I bought one of these & though it looked nice, it was junk." about Dorel-Walmart Toddler Bed, Cherry

I bought one of these Walmart toddler beds three years ago when my oldest son was still a toddler. I was originally excited to have a little "wood" bed for him rather than a cheap plastic one. Instead, I found that, because he like to jump on the bed and climb over the guard rails, he snapped a guard rail, a wood slat broke, and eventually the entire bottom corner broke.

The bed advertised that it could hold up to 50 lbs., and he was only 25-30 lbs when this happened, and even though some would say he shouldn't have been jumping/ climbing on the bed, that's what toddlers do, and we can't stare at them waiting until they wake or fall asleep every night. I expected something that was MADE for a toddler. It wasn't.

I admit, it was pretty before it broke, though it wasn't real wood but that wood-looking surface they put on top to make it look fancy, and even that got very scratched up. For my later son, I went with something more pricey but a lot cooler (an airplane bed made of...
...
