When I first started looking for things to get for my baby I thought cradles and bassinets were pretty pointless and that I would just stick with the crib, but the further along I got in my pregnancy I decided I wanted her in the room with me for a while. Since I wanted to go all organic, I decided on the Summer Infant Nature's Purest Bassinet - Hug Me, because it had good reviews and it was very well priced.

It was a little difficult for me to put it together (I was also eight months pregnant and very hormonal though), but it was just as adorable as it looked in the picture! My daughter did like it for a little while, but she grew out of it pretty quickly, and the padding in it was a little too thin if you ask me. It would have also been nice to be able to have some sort of stopper for the rocking because every time she moved it just rocked all over the place and ultimately woke her up. I noticed that after I switched her to her crib, she started sleeping more soundly.

If you are looking for a great deal and a safe product, then the Winnie the Pooh Bassinet is the product for you!

As a mom of three boys , I know looking for a bassinet is important. So I bought this great bassinet for my baby when he was a newborn because I wanted him to be safe. I looked around at a few different kinds at the store and I noticed the Winnie the Pooh Bassinet from Delta. As soon as i saw it, I knew that I had to have it! It was a little more expensive than some others that I had seen, but I didn't care. I wanted the best for my baby. It was really easy to set up and the directions were very easy to read. This was a great bassinet and i would highly recommend this Winnie the pooh bassinet to any one. my baby used it til he was about 5 months then I passed it on to some one who really needed. And all the cloth comes off so you can wash it. But when i gave it away it was in great condition. It still looked like it had never been used.

When I found out I was pregnant with my son in March of 2008, I began the search to find the perfect furniture for his nursery! When I found out it was a boy, I leaned toward the darker wood, so it would match the darker blue and brown bedding I had picked out. I purchased the Cherry finish of this crib for a reasonable price at an online site. When the crib was delievered to me, it came packaged very nicely, and was not knicked or scrateched at all. The assembly for the crib is definetly for two people. Especially if you were seven months pregnant like I was at the time. The instructions are a bit confusing, because they do skip a step in the process I noticed, but once we figured it out we put the whole bed together (bedding and all) in about a two hour time span. The crib is very sturdy which I love because my now one year old son likes to jump and bounce around in it when he is playing. This has everything I was looking for such as the mattress is held down by velcro and the corners tuck under something so they cannot get pulled up. As kids get older they can get under the mattress without these important features. The description should include these features. I did buy extra sheets to put on it since it didn't come with any and I put a waterproof pad under the sheet to protect the mattress. Great product and I love that it comes with a mobile. I love the girls of this play yard as well. And I bought these colors so that I could use it for a boy or for a girl. I actually use my pack and play as a bassinet too when I first bring my babies home, it's great because they can be right by my bed and it is portable so I can take it to grandma's house or on vacation with us if we need too. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, it would make a great baby shower gift as well.

I was fortunate enough to be able to use my sister's pack n play when my daughter was born. We loved it. It had a changing area, wipes holder, the whole nine yards. Instead of a bassinett she slept in the bassinett portion of the pack n play. It worked great.

Then my sister had another child and we had to give it back. I opted to buy a used Evenflo pack n play thinking they were all the same. Boy was I wrong. It was a night and day difference. I promptly sold it and bought another Graco pack n play.

Here's the thing about the Graco pack n play. It works like it is supposed to. Even the ones without all the extras works great. You don't have to buy the top of the line one. The simple version works just as well. It's nice to have a place to put the diapes and wipes, but not necessary. Plus your baby won't be small enough to fit on the changing area/bassinett attachment for that long.

The Kolcraft bassinet is a life saver. It takes up almost no space at all and is perfect for someone living in a small apartment or someone who has little space. The storage underneth is spacious and I was able to fit all my blankets in it (along with my cat who acted like it was her new bed). The matress is firm but thick enough to be comfertable for a new baby. Most bassinet sheet fit this matress so there is no buying a pricey sheet if you don't want to. The moblle for the bassinet is cute but some of the music is very crepy. One of the songs it plays has a woman singing opera. That is problably the biggest down side to this bassinet. The color is unisex so there isno worrying about boy/girl theme. You will need double A batteries so I suggest getting rechargable batteries because your baby will love the vibration mode. Speaking of vibration made, you will enjoy the fact that it is not so loud as to keep your little baby awake.

This convertible crib is stylish and easy to assemble. The model we chose was the cognac which a deep, rich brown color which has been easy to match as we add furniture to our growing toddler's room. The side rail easily removes without unscrewing when it is time to convert to a toddler bed.

The only downside is that the storage drawer beneath the crib is not as sturdy as we would have liked. Storing more than a few light blankets overloads the drawer and it comes off its track. I would also recommend adding a teething cover to the side rail of the darker color models as it does show when a little one has been using it for teething.

Graco pack and play portable crib is a must have for busy parents of babies/toddlers on the go.

First off this comes in many colors/themes. Mine happens to be dark blue with cute elephants on it.

It folds up neatly and easily and the padding on the bottom doubles as a reinforcement around it when it is packed up. (It has one hard side and one padded) When putting it together, you take the padding off, snap each of the 4 sides up, push the center down and then put the padding, hard side down inside and it is ready for your baby/toddler.

Taking it down and packing it up is just as easy. You take the padding out. There is one button for each side. You press them one at a time and pull up on the center and it folds right up. You then place it on the padding, and the padding folds up and has velcro to hold it together. This is then placed in a "bag" of sorts, and there is a hole where there is a handle inside to make it easy to carry. It is very easy and convenient. The only draw back is that...

We are very satisfied with this Burlington Bassinet with Bedding and storage in blue. I read the previous previews and saw the pictures and couldn't decide if I wanted it as it didnt look too sturdy, but then decided to buy it and return it if it wasn't sturdy enough. this was for my firstborn, and i was very concerned for the sturdy factor, I must say I was pleasantly suprised. Its very handsome. I was 38 weeks pregnant and it took my husband maybe 5 minutes to put together. I did wash and iron the liners but I expected it would be wrinkled from packaging. I gave it 4 stars because the mattress pad is very thin. however you will have that problem with most bassinets that i saw. also, after washing the sheet it was still very rough, and i bought extras that i used instead as they were softer. We have 3 children and all of them used the same Graco Pack 'N Play Portable Playard (specifically the one with a Bassinet). The price is very reasonable especially if you get a lot of use from it. When my first child was really small, the size of a crib would overwhelm her and she would feel more comfortable using the Pack N Play bassinet to sleep in. The product is fantastic since it's versatile as sort of a baby "cot" and as a playpen when the children get bigger. It comes with a toy bar that the babies would find interesting at first but not for long because it doesn't really do much. The Pack N Play is easy to set up. Although after years of use, it can take a while to lock the bars when setting them up. The mat is a standard mat too that you can easily find covers for. It can be heavy to lug around but it is portable nonetheless. When the children get bigger, I think the limit for the bassinet is 30lbs, the bassinet can be removed and the pack n play can be used...

I was somewhat overwhelmed when I began my shopping for my first baby last year. The options and styles of everything that's out there was leaving me feeling unsure of what to pick on many things. However, when choosing a portable baby playpen, I had less confusion on what to choose. The Graco Pack 'N Play Playard offered an easy to setup/breakdown playard, plus a bassinet - handy when baby needs a place to sleep away from home - and removable changing table. Those features alone sealed the decision for me; a bonus was the super-cute Classic Winnie the Pooh style that they offer. i have taken apart this crib twice, and each time a have taken it apart and moved it, pieces have broken. the drop side clips broke on one side the first time and the second time the other side broke. and my husband fixed it. but i feel it is unsafe and should be recalled. im not comfortable using it. unfortunately i have a very limited budget and can not afford to purchase another crib. and i have been through a enough problems with the first crib that was purchased for my son. that one was recalled, but i will go through the process of getting this one recalled.

We purchased an Angel Line Saf-Crib when we realized our second son was outgrowing his bassinet but our older son was not quite ready to move up to a toddler bed. We wanted something that was safe and inexpensive, just for a few months until my older son was ready to pass down his much nicer crib to his younger brother. We saw the Angel Line Saf-Crib online and felt it would fit our needs, and to a great extent, it did. We needed to have a cradle in our bedroom when the baby first came home from the hospital, and this one the one that we both fell in love with while we were searching the stores. It turned out to be a really good decision, because not only did we enjoy having it in the room for the baby, it is extremely portable so that it can be moved all around the house. One of the main things that I wanted with our purchase of a crib, was for it to be able to live beyond just the first few months of our baby's development. The Burlington cradle is the most inexpensive bassinett I have ever seen. It also has cute fabric patterns. I ordered this cradle from the Walmart website. When I received it I was a little let down by the fact that it was made out of plastic. I bought this a few months before my daughter was born. I went ahead and put it together right away. It was very easy to put together. I had no trouble with it. Which was one of the good things. After it was moved a few times, it seemed very unstable and shaky. I only moved it a couple feet to vacuum. It concerned me, but I left it alone. Then one day I moved it and the legs fell off! Thats the bad part. My fiance screwed the legs on and put in screws anywhere else that looked as if it need it. We are using this cradle right now and have not had any problems. I saw an advertisement fort the Arm's Reach Universal Cosleeper in Mothering magazine and thought it would be perfect for us. We are advocates of attachment parenting and like the idea of cosleeping. Unfortunately my baby is a light sleeper and would wake up after feedings when I tried to move her off of our mattress and back into the cosleeper. Luckily we have a king size bed. For the most part it is just holding our burp cloths and extra blankets right now. It is hard to get out of the bed because it is very large and you have to scoot down to the bottom of the mattress to get out (very difficult after a cecerean). It took a while to set up and is heavier than something like a pack'n'play so is therefore less travel worthy than a product like that, and it also does not convert as easily. We will probably just use it as a playpen once our daughter begins to sit up and move around. For now, it's not really serving a purpose, and it was not cheap. It is more attractive...

The portable Graco Pack N Play is great. My daughter takes naps in it every day but it is still super easy and simple to pack up and take with us when we go somewhere. The bassinet was great for when she was a newborn, it was alot easier to lay her down and get her out and not have to lean all the way over and risk waking her up. Then the bassinet just easily removes once they are too big to sleep in it. It comes with a bag that you can use to carry it once its folded up and helps keep it clean. Its very easy to set up and take down, theres a push button that collapses it. It is pretty heavy for me to carry when its all folded up, but when its open it has wheels on the bottom that makes it easy to use. It does fold down to a pretty small size, so its easy to take somewhere and not worry about how much room its going to take with. Very easy to travel with. The one down side is theres not much padding for the baby to sleep on.

The Lauren crib is relatively inexpensive (under $200) for a budget conscious mommy. I ordered it online through Walmart and had it shipped to the store for pickup. I came home and was able to assemble it by myself. It took a total of two hours to put together. The only items needed were a screwdriver and mallet. There are three height levels for the mattress. It is absolutely beautiful. The style is more modern because it can be disassembled to use as a headboard for a twin bed. It can also be made into a daybed. I am expecting my second child in December so although I have not used the crib yet, I am thrilled to have the Lauren crib for my son. One drawback is that there is no plastic on the front for a teething baby. The front of the crib comes down for easier access to the baby and I did notice that making it come down is not that hard. This, however, could be an issue when the baby is able to stand up on his own. I will have to watch out for...
