The Britax Marathon is a wonderfully built seat. We have owned 3 of them for our children. They used them far longer than they would have other seats, because of the increased maximum height and weight. They are comfortable as well. My boys loved riding in their...

I love this car seat! As a new mommy 5 years ago, I searched and searched, spending hours reading reviews from other parents, consumer reports - everything - and decided on a Britax. I saved all summer for it and was so happy to get it for my daughter. I was even happier 2 years later when we were in an accident and she was completely unharmed - just scared for a moment. And now, 3 years after that, my son has been riding in it since he came out of the hospital - that's right. I had it turned around for the first year, and now he faces forward. And I do feel perfectly safe continuing to use it after the wreck - It is completely unharmed as well! I had it checked out by the fire dept. after, and it was given an enthusiastic thumbs up! Worth the money, and this coming from a mom who knows what's frilly luxury, and what's actually better. Britax is...

MY SON IS ONE OF THOSE KIDS YOU CANNOT KEEP IN A CAR SEAT. WHEN I BOUGHT THIS SEAT HE THOUGHT IT WAS AWSOME.

I have never been so unimpressed with a car seat as I was with this car seat. This is our fourth car seat as we now own 2 convertible car seats and 2 infant car seats for our 18 month old and newborn. Having two car seats allows me to directly compare one car seat with another. This car seat makes us love our Chicco KeyFit so much more. In the pictures, the Peg Perego is red/black and the Chicco is brown/orange and is there for comparison sake. — — First impressions were that this car seat had nice fabric and looked comfortable. Installing the car seat base was easy. The base has a system with a ball that needs to end up in the green zone instead of the red zone when you have it tightened down. I didn't have to adjust it up or down for my car, so I don't know how difficult turning that knob was. — — Our problems with this arose when we first put our daughter in it. Our daughter was 7 lbs 12.5 ounces on Monday (6...

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is — a.) price.
This car seat is very safe and durable. I used it with my son which is my first child and I really like it. This car seat was also available in patterns that matched the stroller. The fact that the car seat latches into the stroller was very handy when my son was an infant, this way I could let him sleep or whatever. Also it is nice that you can latch the car seat in the car with of without the base, you can with mine anyway I don't know about all of...

Love this product! Very comfortable instead of those usual hard plastic seat. Great fabric and design and best of all the saftey. This seat is a big seat with side impact protection. My son loves it and never have any trouble with him wanting to come out. Very comfortable he usually falls right asleep. Fits a child 0- 60lbs , rear and front facing. No need to buy 3 carseats as people usually do. Only problem is the buckle located by childs crotch is set too far back (just have to watch not to pinch the child when strapping them...

My five year old daughter loves this booster seat, she says it's very comfy and loves that cup/snack holders on either side of the seat. It's extremely easy to fasten in - you simply thread your seat belt shoulder harness through the plastic loop and the seat is in. Then you just fasten the belt like you normally would. Also, the back comes off making this a two in one seat. For the time being we are leaving the back on, but as she gets older we may remove the back to accomodate her growth. Very easy to use, not hard to carry if you need to move it from vehicle to vehicle. Also, VERY good price, I believe we paid around $35 for...

This car seat, which is part of a travel system is great for carrying the baby from the house, to the stroller or from the car to the stroller. You can also tote the seat to the store and put it up on the cart. The restraint system is adjustable, so it grows with your baby and stays comfortable. The price is reasonable. — What I don't like is the base! It took forever to install and we needed to use rolled up towels, the directions said to do this, to level the base. This looks bad and the towels become dislodged and what a pain to get them back in correctly. Not what i want to be doing when i am late to pick up my other child and baby is crying sitting in the driveway! The level device wobbles between green and red so it is hard to tell if the thing is truly level. And finally, and worse of all, the seat is almost vertical, so baby is totally propped up and her head wobbles forward occasionally. Even after we adjusted the base with another towel(that just...

I tried this car seat for my four year old nephew a few months ago and I hated it. It didnt seem very safe or secure to me.

This seat is safe, easy to use, and can be moved from car to car easily! The seat is great for parents who only want to buy one seat for the duration of your child's car seat life. Both of my children (ages three and four) have this seat and they can easily get in themselves, yet cannot yet unstrap themselves when it is time to get out. The biggest drawback is the difficult process of getting the cover on and off in order to wash it. This a labor extensive and time consuming process which involves an occasional frustration. But, the cover is fairly easy to spot clean, so unless the cover gets REALLY bad, I have been able to keep it in good working order. — —...

We bought this car seat for my daughter and I like it a lot -- in fact we bought one for each car. It's so easy to get her in and out of and the seat is easy to install and remove when necessary. My only problem with this car seat is that the tightening mechanism (the tab you pull to tighten the belts to stap them in tightly) is difficult to use. I feel like I have to use all my strength to just tighten it a little bit. We have to tug and tug just to get it tight enough so that we feel it is safe to drive.
