When summer came around, we knew we would be taking our 1+ year old, not always to a pool, but outside for walks, to the park or letting her run around outside. Not only that, she is very fair-skinned as opposed to me and my wife. There are so many products out there to chose from and can be overwhelming for a parent. Friends of ours had it and we loved it for many reasons. Actually, the friends that had it, had children with skin issues like eczema or sensitive skin so we knew it had to be good. First of all, our pediatricician, who has children, recommended it. Secondly, it is waterproof and lasts for a couple of hours if your child is in the pool. It comes with many different SPF's, for those parents who want or need something specific. Also, you can buy it in the spray, but we do prefer the creams. The smell is fine, like other sunscreens or lotions and not offensive. The price is reasonable, but worth it.

Johnson & Johnson Soothing Naturals Soothe and Protect Balm is a great product!

We live in Colorado and endure the cold dry winters that are rough on babies skin. The balm is the only product I have used that gets results quickly. Very easy to apply, pleasant scent and does not sting extremely dry cheeks, chapped chins from drooling or chapped hands from sucking. I've used it on my own dry cuticles, lips and knuckles. We call it, "The Face Stick" in our house.

It is difficult to find in stores so if you find it buy two at once even though it goes a long way, I've misplaced one and I always worry that J&J will discontinue since I have not been able to find it in the stores anymore (I have found online however).

There are many different reasons to use baby powder when changing diapers, but there are two that stand out above the rest for me personally. The first is that it helps to absorb any wetness that is left behind by the wipes we use, and the second is that the baby powder has its own smell, so you can easily check the baby diaper without even looking inside.

Johnson's Baby Powder has become our brand of choice, and I don't see us changing gears when it comes to this product anytime soon. More specifically, we use the Johnson's Baby Powder that has aloe and vitamin E inside of it, which is much gentler on the baby. My son gets little dry patches on the backs of his arms and I think I tried a couple different lotions on him to try and get rid of this...nothing worked well enough and kept it away. That was until I tied the Aveeno Baby soothing Relief Moisture Cream. I should have tried this product first because I know that Aveen is safe and gentle and Works well! The smell to it is nice...not to strong but nice enough to use on a baby. It makes me feel good knowing that I am using something gentle on my sons skin...I even use this myself during the winter months when I feet and hands get really dry. It even works great on me! I have continued to use this lotion for the past 4 years and have recently bought another tube of it. Now the winter months are coming and my sons hands are already cracked. it is once again put to use in my house. I would be lost if they ever stopped making this lotion...it is that good!

i was introduced to aveeno baby sunscreen when i had my first baby. she has very fair skin and we are a family that loves to be outside. not a good mix when you live in georgia! i was familiar with the aveeno brand name as being very good for sensative skin so i trusted it to be gentle enough not to irritate my baby's skin. i was right! some other brands would make her skin break out in a red rash and she would cry if i had to reapply it. with aveeno baby sunscreen this never happened. it is thick and creamy and rubs on nice and evenly. some brands are too thick so when you rub them on you end up pulling and pinching a baby's soft skin. this sunscreen never did that. also, she never burned! i was sure to reapply the lotion as directed (especially when we were in and out of the water!) and she always had a hat on too. one of the things i liked best about aveeno baby sunscreen is my little one could go from the pool to a nap without a bath if she had to. she never had any skin irritations....

Johnson & Johnson Baby Lotion

I have been a big fan of Johnson & johnson products and considered it to be THE BEST for all baby toileteries. until Johnson baby lotion drove me crazy once I applied it on my baby and seeing the rashes that she developed. It was an extremely unfortunate experience since the rashes were really bad and I had tough time handling my infant with all the irritation she was going through after the lotion. I would recommend a BIG NO to all the mums out there. Though I still continue to use the other Johnson products and which have been working really well, I just trashed the bottle of Johnson lotion right after the first use. I opted for Aveeno instead and it worked perfectly fine keeping the skin soft through the day. I am not going to ever think of switching back to Johnson Lotion even after my daughter grows becasue this has most definitely left a very bad taste of the product in my mouth.

After purchasing my industrial size bottle of Vanilly Oatmeal Baby Body Wash, I thought it a decent idea to purcase the lotion that accompanied it; Vanilla Oatmeal Baby Lotion. My word this scent is heavenly, and unique. every time I slater my baby in it after bath time, everyone in the house asks me if I just showered! And thats just from massaging it into my little boy. Sometimes I even find myself truly contemplating if I should use it or not (I have so many of my own, I really should not). But I have found myself, one time only, using his Vanilla Oatmeal Baby Body Wash and his Vanilla Oatmeal baby Lotion to follow. And it made my old skin super soft, so I can only imagine what it does for my fresh-skinned angel. I know every time I touch him, I can not get enough. And skin contact is very important in developmental growth. So maybe every mama should slather their babes up and get ready for cuddling!

I was looking for a good, safe reasonably priced sunscreen for my daughter when she was 8 months old and we found Aveeno Baby - we have never used anything else! My daughter has very sensitive skin and this sunscreen did not cause rash or any problems. We Have used it ever since and hope they never discontinue it as we will continue to use this for many years to come. The lotion is not greasy, rubs in easily has a very light sent and does not sting if gotten in the eyes which always happens with toddlers! We are happy to report two summers and zero sunburns!

This lotion is my all time favorite...I buy it at BJ's in bulk because we love it so much! My daughter loves to lay down at night on the changing table and have us rub her back...it's a wonderful relaxing time for her and for us! The lotion is not too heavy, dries quickly and has a nice light baby sent! It is something I give every new mom that I know as part of the gift we give. My daughters skin is baby soft and we know it's because of this lotion. It is even great for sensitive skin! We love this lotion!

I really enjoy Aveeno skin care products. While they tend to be on the expensive side, I am an avid coupon clipper and bargain hunter, so I generally wait for my favorite products to go on sale, use the coupons I've been saving up, and in the end I get fantastic brand-name products that cost me less than their generic counterparts.

As far as Aveeno's baby products go, they tend to be extremely gentle while also working well. I don't even have children; I buy Aveeno baby products for myself and my partner, and for my infant nephew.

In the winter, my partner and I both get eczema. Our hands dry and crack very easily, and we live in Massachusetts, which makes it worse because it gets so very cold here in the winter. I have literally spent hundreds of dollars on products that my fiance wouldn't use, because he hates feeling like there is anything sitting on top of his skin. Even the least greasy lotions will usually make his skin feel greasy to him. That is not the case with Aveeno's...

I have always used Johnson and Johnson baby products. I remember when my children were newborn. The hospital broght my precious babies. Their skin just glowed. I remember how wonderful the babies smelled. Yes, some of the baby scent was the newborn scent that all mothers remember and get teary about. But, the other scent was the smell of Johnson and Johnson Baby Lotion. There was just something so sweet and simplistic about that first scent. I loved that both of my children kept silky soft. They never felt greasy. They never had a reaction to the fragrance or to any of the ingredients. They just stayed soft and pink. Even today, my kids still laugh at me for buying this product. They laugh, but they also still use it. Why buy something different when something smells this good and keeps their skin looking so young and healthy. I try to buy this lotion when it goes on sale. I realize that it is a little more than a generic type. But, I feel that for my family...

This lotion by J&J is a dream. I was given this lotion and bath wash for a shower gift and have been buying it ever since. It smells wonderful and really keeps my little one's skin super soft. I love the smell. It really seems to relax my baby and puts her to sleep. The lavendar scent in it is so soothing. The price seems to be very affordable for this product as well. If you have a hard time getting your little one to sleep at night, give a warm bath with the J&J Bedtime bath and follow with the Bedtime Lotion. It will work!! My daughter had dry skin and when I started using the wash and lotion the dry skin disappeared. Her skin is now so soft and smells so nice. I highly recommend this to all moms. Try it, you won't be disappointed. J&J has been around a very long time and you can never go wrong with them.

Besides being 100% Vegan. Paraben, Propylene Glycol, Preservative, and Gluten Free. Hypo-Allergenic. And a Full ingredient disclosure product. I really like that this is an alternative to Talc and GMO Cornstarch. Talc, as we all have probably heard can cause polyps in your lungs, with an asthmatic son it is important to stay away from that. And with most the products bieng made from genetically modified cornstarch it is hard to find a truly 'green' alternative.

We cloth diaper because of my son's ezcema so diaper creams are used as a last resort when there is already a problem and have to bu used with disposables, which means paying more money for their use, then using the cloth diapers, and contributing to the growing numbers of dispoasables in landfills. But with my son having ezcema we have had to resort to that more then I like- even with cloth diapering he still gets rashes. This products has significantly lessoned the times I have had to resort to diaper creams.

Burts Bee's Buttermilk bath is a wonderful bath powder for any aged child. My six year old daughter sufferes from dry skin, and weve tried alot of products to sooth her skin. However, none have compared to the Buttermilk bath. When I first opened up the pack, I noticed the pleasant smell, not too strong, just a pretty smell. It dissolves into the water and is not like a bubble bath. My dauther went about her bath and after a few minutes even she said, this smells really good mom!

The instructions say to soak in the bath for 15=20 minutes, which daughter really liked. I had to rewarm the bath a bit. After her bath, we loved the smell! After a few hours, we could still smell it, it doesnt fade away. Just a pleasant scent. AFter using a few times, my daughter has stopped itching, and her skin is noticably softer! I will continue to buy the Buttermilk bath, as its the only bath item so far that has helped her skin!

i love johnson an johnson shampoos and washes and my parents used them on me as a baby, but this bedtime lotion stuff, i bought some, and late at night gave my brand new boy a bath, then applied some to his chest and before i had moved to his arms he was screaming bloody murder. he was calm prior to this. i thought it was an allergic reaction, but after testing it on my skin (poor guy had been crying for 30 minutes at this point, i was desperate) i found soon after application it makes your skin unnaturally cold. calming? definitely not. 1 bath later boy was fine, and i went to sleep late on a work day. go back to making baby wash and shampoo, J & J.

I remember when I was a little girl, my mother always used Johnson & Johnson Products with us. My sister had allergy issues and Johnson's was the only product that didn't break her out. And of course when I became a mom, it was natural for me to use Johnson & Johnson because their reliable, they care about what you but on your baby, I found it was the same great product to use. Now I'm a grandma and with no know surprise, Johnson & Johnson is a favorite again! There's something about that smell that just brings back memories and I love the way it makes the skin feel. My husband had to have surgery last year and to my surprise, they even use it in the hospital. Well, no wonder, it has a great smell, it makes the skin feel great, it goes on smooth and it's hypoallergenic.
