Eulaha says "Mommy loved the Munchkin Duck tub, but baby had a fit!" about Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub

I thought for sure that my daughter (10 months old at the time) would love the Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub. She was still taking baths in the sink and I felt it was time to transition her to the bath tub (notice how I said it was ME that thought it was time...). I blew the little tub up (took me a long time, and left my lungs hurting), and I filled it with warm water, baby wash and a few of her familiar bath toys. As soon as I lowered my daughter into it, she screamed like a banshee!! She grabbed onto me and wouldn't let go until I lifted her out of the tub. I tried a couple more times, but no go. I finally put the tub in storage, and at 16 months, she is still bathing in the kitchen sink (believe it or not, she can still sit quite comfortably).

The tub itself is very nice. I like the duck sounds that come from pressing on the duck bill. I'm starting to wonder if it was the duck sounds that freaked her out...?

All in all, it's a nice little tub at at affordable price....
...

mommy1213906 says "great seat" about Safety 1st Tubside seat

We bought this bath ring style seat after we were done using the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders bath tub, because our daughter wanted to sit up in the tub and look around more. This is a great product for baby's that are sitting up. It allows them to play and splash in the water and see things better than if they were sitting or laying in an infant bath tub. The Safety 1st Tubside Seat also has an armrest that hooks onto the side of the tub, both holding the seat in place, and also giving mom and dad a soft place to rest their arm while the little one plays. The arm that hooks onto the side of the tub is adjustable, and quite long, and should fit most tubs. Our tub is quite deep, and it works great it in, and also in my mother’s tub, which is quite a bit smaller, so you should not have a problem fitting it onto your tub. The most important thing is that my daughter enjoys sitting in it. She has more freedom than she did in the other tub, and she doesn’t have to have my hands on her...
...

zorgkk says "Could get worse, but could be better..." about Safety 1st Convertible Complete Care Bath Tub

This tub was given to me by a friend. At first glance I thought this was the tub for me. The box describes it as easy to use, fun, safe, easy to clean. NOT REALLY! While it will last for a long period of time for a child to use the downsides are too big for me to tell you that you should spend money on it. Once this bathtub was out of the box I had to figure out how to use just the newborn part, ok, seems easy enough. But then as my son got bigger I need the toddler part. That was tricky at first because there were no real instructions on what to do to get it set up. The worst problem though was being able to move the tub around in the bathtub. I wanted the tub clean for my sons next bath but the suction cups were so suctioned that I kept having problems getting the tub clean. Saftey was ok, and fun is not a word I would use to describe any tub but all in all my tub was free. That was the best part!
...

MRSverret says "Fun for bath time" about Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub

Originally,I purchased the Munchkin Hot Safety Tub especially for on the go. It would be too much of a hassle to have a baby bath tub everywhere he went. But once my son used it once, he wanted his duck tub all the time!

For around $10 you get a giant yellow, inflatable duck tub. The recommended age is 6 -24 months and babies must be able to sit unassisted. My son has already outgrown this and he's 17 months.

The Munchkin Hot Safety Bath Tub comes equipped with a hot sensor on the bottom to let you know when the water is too hot. And when you press his beak, he gives out a loud "quack, quack!". On the bottom is a large suction cup so when you're finished bathing your little one just stick it onto the bath tub wall and let it dry. If you need it for on the go just fold it up once it's deflated.

To inflate it is rather easy and doesn't take too much time. Once it's blown up the duck becomes the perfect place for bath time. Because it's inflatable, it provides a soft and comfortable...
...

SpokaneMan says "This is a Great (and Safe) Tub For That Growing Baby!" about The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn to Toddler Tub with Sling

After using the Summer Infant Baby Bather for we had to move up in size when our baby got to six months and was too big for the first one. We were gifted one of these Sure Comfort Deluxe tubs, which can be used for both newborns and toddlers. Our daughter took to the new tub right away, and with the added freedom and space of this new tub also came the fun she now has with bath time. It isn't so much a chore anymore as a time to bond between us and the baby, and this is a great tool to have on hand during that process.

This is another very affordable bathtub to have around the house, but it isn't quite as baby safe as the Summer Infant Bather. The reason for that, is that when you move to a real tub such as this one, your baby is already more energetic and mobile, making bath time a process where the parent has to be even more vigilant about what the baby is doing. As long as you place the baby in the tub correctly, they are going to be perfectly safe, just make sure to always...
...

SpokaneMan says "The Summer Infant Baby Bather Was Great For Our Newborn." about Summer Infant Baby Bather

Fresh out of the hospital, we needed something that would serve as a great tool for bathing our newborn baby at night. What we came upon was the Summer Infant Baby Bather, which turned out to be a great tool to wash the little one. The biggest selling point to us was the fact that it seemed safe for a little baby, but the price was also something that we didn't frown upon. We were able to purchase the Summer Infant Baby Bather for less than $20.00, and I must say that we really got our money's worth out of this baby bather.

As you can see from the product photo for the Summer Infant Baby Bather, it is tilted at an angle to help wash the baby easily. We used it in the bottom of our bathtub at home during bath time, and merely set the bather in the bottom of the tub to begin washing the baby. The mesh construction of the liner sinks the baby into the bather slightly, and allows for her to still have mobility while basically being held in place. This is to keep the baby from...
...

Before our son was born, I searched for a tub that would last him a long time, and would be durable and easy to use and clean. I found the Fisher Price Aquarium Wonders tub, and knew this was the one!

We started to use it when he was only a few weeks old. The fabric sling makes it easy to wash a newborn, without having to feel so nervous. The sling mostly suspends them above the water, so you can wash their little bodies. It also has a pillow to keep them comfortable!

When he got too big for the sling, and he was just learning to sit up, I moved him to the side that has a rubber slip grip and a recline, so it is like a little seat. That was a nice transistion to get him into the water.

Now that he is 7 months old, I have him in the larger area of the tub. He loves to play with the two tub toys that it comes with.

I think he is about to outgrow this tub in about another month(he is 28" long.) But, overall, I think it lasted a long time, and gets him used to being in the water before he goes...
...

I wish my son would like this tub as much as I did when I got it. He is a big baby, and he doesn't really like the sling. I researched several different tubs and decided on this one because it was at a good price and can be used as an infant tub and a toddler tub, but so far the sling isn't winning him over. I don't think he likes "dangling" above the tub, and the little sling gets cold. That being said, this could just be our little guy not liking bath time (although now we just hold him, and he seems to enjoy this). The good things about the tub is that it fits easily into the (real) tub, and I like the slip-proof material. It seems safe for our little guy, and I also like the containers that hold baby wash and such. I hope that our son will like the infant method better than he does the sling feature - we will soon see! Overall, the tub is ok, but not a must-have. Shop around, based on your baby's preferences.
...

Fisher Price Aquarium Ocean Wonders!

We've been using it since my baby was a couple weeks old. Even when she was tiny she would sit in the tub securely and confortably while we bathed her. It's great to have the ledge part where the baby sits so you don't have to hold onto the baby while washing her and avoids her from sliding down. Also the foam at the back keeps the baby from sliding. The tub dries quickly, is easily assembled and most of all lightweight. I carry it with me whenever we make our weekend trips which is so convenient! My daughter is now three months old now and still loves it. Also, the tub is very safe for the head positioning of the baby. It come at a good price, is very economical and within range. The only problem is she splashes and makes a mess of my kitchen during bath time! I recommend this to everyone. This is a definite must have as it makes bathing time super easy!!
...

The Mother's Touch Baby Bather was great for us because we were moving when our baby was born. I loved that it was mesh to dry quickly, could fold up, and fit in the sink or the tub. We didn't have room for a regular plastic baby tub and so this was given to us and was great. Our baby wasn't large so she fit in it perfectly. Now that she's squirming and sitting up we need something new. There are some draw backs. First, you have be careful because the baby can slid out if they move a lot. Not a problem in the sink, but it was in the tub. The second problem is if you have a larger baby they just won't fit. At 6 months our baby is only 15 pounds and just fits, but is ready to be moved out. This is not the tub for anyone that is not comfortable bathing babies. We were in the middle of a move and it was very convienent to pack up in the luggage. It also dried quickly because it was mesh, so I never had to worry about wet things being packed. If you are considering this tub, you want a small...
...

We recently bought this lovely bath tub for our baby who'll be here with us anytime soon : )) It is blue and is being shaped like a whale and we are happy that we can get nice bath time pictures out of it. It has a removable butt-stopper which can be used for infants to prevent them from 'drowning' and this can be removed once they grow up to give them more splashing space. We bought it for a great price of little less than $ 20.00 from Kohl's through online shopping. For the brand and quality, one can't ask for a better price. It's available in Target stores too.

It comes with a cute baby whale dipper. It doesn't have lots of nooks and corners like many other bath tubs we saw, which means it would be easy to be cleaned. We chose this after looking at many different bath tubs & I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cute, practical and quality bath tub for their new arrival.
...

I just got this tub and our 2 month old loves it! Whenever he's crabby at night I just fill this up and he stops crying as soon as he lays in it. He looks so comfy and he could just fall asleep in it. He doesn't slip around either so I don't have to worry so much. The only problem I have is that when it drains the soap builds up on the sling part, but I just spray it off with the faucet sprayer and wash it after every few baths. After trying 2 other tubs that were HORRIBLE, we tried this one. Our daughter is 5 1/2 months old, and can sit up fairly well. She's about 18 pounds and very long, so having enough space for her legs was an issue. We found that the other tubs we tried weren't long enough, nor were they very comfortable. She ended up with red marks all over her legs and back from other tubs, but this one was wonderful! There's enough room for her to sit up and splash and play, and there's still room to grow. And it does NOT leak like the Safety 1st 4-in-1 bath station, which we also...
...

The safety 1st tubside seat was great for my kids when they outgrew their infant bathtub, but couldn't sit real well on their own. It is great for keeping them from sliding around in the tub. And it kept my son from trying to stand up in there all the time! You can change the direction that the child faces which is nice. It holds a lot of water, so I would definitely recommend tipping it upside down and leaving it in the tub overnight to drain. Also it scratched my son's leg one time when we put him in it so you have to be careful of that. folds up nicely to store!
...

The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn to Toddler Tub with Sling is a great baby tub. It's durable and inexpensive. The side that has an "incline" is perfect for babies who cannot sit up on their own, though they can slip to their side as it does not curve at all.

I got this tub as a gift and was very grateful for it. When I looked for a cheap replacement to use at grandma's, I noticed others had a little bump were baby's crotch would sit- I'm assuming to help keep them in place, but it looked uncomfortable to me and I was glad to realize my tub did not have that!

The sling is another story. I was not pleased with it. The whole point of the sling is to have a newborn sit safely and comfortably in the tub, but this is nearly impossible. The sling has very little "give" for it to incline at all, so if baby is to be in the water at all, baby would be near to drowning. I ended up detaching it and using it as a "pillow" and bathing my baby in the inclined side so she could be IN the water!...
...

kacielynn says "Baby Bather is for expert Baby Bathers!" about Mother's Touch Baby Bather

I thought this would be a great help at bathtime because my daughter loves the water! She likes to kick her feet to make the water splash. This bath was an absolute nightmare. You have to put lots of water into the tub just so the baby can feel it. Then you have to keep your hand on her the whole time she is in it because there are no sides and all she has to do is lean one way and she will slip out. It took both of us to bath her using this. My husband would hold her and I would bathe her. The headrest was suppose to help the baby hold her head in place but it was so thin and flimsy that all it did was add aggervation to bathtime because it prevented me from getting to the back of her head to wash her hair. I guess if you are an excellent baby bather then you could use it, but it made bath time a bad time in my home. We dreaded giving her a bath because it was so difficult!
...

lrob says "This bathtub is not worth the money." about Safety 1st Space Saver Fold Up Tub

I bought the Safety First Fold Up bathtub at a reasonable price. I was thrilled that it would fold up and I could store it away, out of sight. Baby bathtubs are usually so awkward to find a place for. I love that the tub is in a reclining position which is perfect for newborns. It has a built in drain plug for easy water removal. The seat is padded with some kind of foam so that your baby does not slip-and we know babies are very slippery when wet! Ha!

Depending on where you purchase the product it usually comes with two water toys, which are great when your baby gets old enough to hold them. The only problem I've had, and it is a big problem, is that it leaks. I usually set it on the counter in the kitchen and I have to put a big towel underneath it to soak up the water. I think it leaks around the places where it folds. Also, if you overfill it even slightly, it will leak.

I would not recommend buying this product. I wish I had bought a different brand, or...
...

byubelle22 says "Not my favorite" about Mother's Touch Baby Bather

I bought the Mother's Touch baby bather when I went out of town and obviously couldn't pack my baby's bathtub. I figured it was inexpensive enough and I could bring it back with me (it folds flat), so I bought it. It seemed like a good idea- the seat reclines for younger babies, it has a little headrest, the seat is meshy yet soft so the water goes through but doesn't affect baby's sensitive skin, and it just seemed like a great idea. Well, it wasn't. It doesn't recline as far as the pictures make it appear. The headrest appears in the pictures to keep baby's head more in position (like a carseat head support) but it is less than an inch thick around the edges and does nothing but add a washcloth-type material under baby's head. I did NOT feel safe having my baby in this product while being bathed. She could have easily slipped to the side and landed in the water or hit her head. I suppose if you are an expert baby bather and your baby lays perfectly still, this could work, but I don't...
...

implosionexp says "Summer Infant Soothing Spa and Shower Bath Center disappointing" about Summer Infant Soothing Spa and Shower Bath Center

We purchased the Summer Infant Soothing Spa and Shower Bath Center for our daughter a few months ago and what a big disappiontment it was. She is a rather large baby and it seemed perfect because of it's large size. The size is truly nice but the motor in the spa portion stopped working not too long after we bought it because it had rusted. We were told that due to the rust it was our problem even though it was in an area that I could not get to to dry out. I have back problems and it would have been nice to use the hand held sprayer to drain some of the water out so I didnt have to lift the thing totally full. The insert is also a big problem. I does not stay put with the provided suction cup and to try and sit it up like it shows dosent work very well either. We have ended up with only the tub we can use and the non skid pad that is in there allowed my daughter to slide down into the water even though I had been holding her. We bought on of those infant sponges shaped like a bear and...
...
