This is by far the best diaper rash ointment i have ever used . Not only does it get rid of an existing diaper rash it also prevents diaper rash, if your baby has common diaper rashes and you use it with every other diaper change or so. It goes on very smooth it is not messy at all. It is very cheap as long as you get it at the right place. I have used this product and only this product especially when it comes to the severe diaper rashes. If the rash isnt that bad it gets rid of it within two to three diaper changes. If it is a moderate to severe diaper rash it usually takes about a day to a day and a half to go away. In my opinion with continued use you will not ever have to worry about diaper rashes ...

My son is only 7 months old but I value keeping him happy at all times that includes keeping his little butt free of diaper rash. I am what you'd call a paronoid mom, I get worried over the smallest thing especially if hes in pain. We all know that diaper rash haqs to be painful on such sensative skin.Well it happened he got diaper rash,so I went to the nearest store to get him diaper ointment,I applied it before we left the parking lot and by the time we got to the red light he was happy and smiling like my sweet little Anthony. It rather inexpensive and works immediately, I bought the original creamy ointment in the blue box. Now every time I worry he's got it again I apply Desitin and it prevents him from getting it and his little skin turns the beautiful shade of pink its ment to be. If your a mom or dad who cares deeply about their little ones bottom as much as you do your own then you will rush to your nearest store and purchase Desitin for your baby or toddler.

I had my kids starting at 18 years ago when i had my oldest you use what you find. I had my son 15 years ago and the diaper rash creams out there was not working on him, so i went to the store and starting buying diaper rash creams one at a time to see what would work.Nothing was working and his rash was getting so bad it started bleeding. I was buying kinds i never even heard of and I came across one called paladin its in a pink and white tub. So I thought why not buy it and try it could not hurt right. So I went home and tried it, after the first day I noticed a change so I continued to use it for about three days and it cleared it up. So I used it for my third child and now I made my oldest daughter buy it and use it on my granddaughter. I will not use anything else this is the best out there. If anybody ask what to use I tell them to find this. I even I got my sister in law to use it with all three of her kids and she will not use any thing else either. If you ever need to use diaper...

I have been fighting a diaper rash on my 2 year old for about 2 years. i have gone to the doctor and gotten prescriptions. the last time i was at the doctor the nurse gave me a few samples of this rash cream and said to try it before i got the prescriptions filled. I have tried all kinds of OTC and Prescription meds and to be honest i was doubtful that this would work. I went home and used it everytime i changed a diaper and within 24 hours the rash was gone!! it has been one week of using everytime and still no rash. I was shocked. I never got the prescriptions filled. I went and got a full size tube, it cost me about $6 for a 2.5 oz tube but it was ALOT less then the prescriptions and i dont have to worry about andy side affects and since it works i dont have to put out the money for the prescription. it has a pleasent smell to it. and it is a little runnier then desitin creamy (which is what i was using, also avenno). My son had got a slight diaper rash on his bottom so i immediately went to our local Pharmacy and asked for the best diaper rash that they had or one that they recommend.Not even caring how much it would cost me i just wanted something that would help ease my child's bottom. So they recommend me the Dr. Smiths diaper ointment so without hesitation i bought the ointment because even on the bottle it said "Dr.".So i went home applied it after every diaper change, after bath-time, and before bedtime. I did this for three days and was seeing any improvement so i thought maybe i still needed to do this for a week. Well a wk later i noticed that there was no improvement but that the rash was just getting red-er. So, i stopped using it and started with another rash ointment called revenoo and i seen improvements in a day literally. So so my advice to mothers just because a bottle says Dr. recommended it might not always work for your child.

This cream has a funny name but it produces really great results. It is very soothing to the skin. It has a okay smell, doesnt smell like medication or regular dipaer rash creams. To me the best value is to get the tub and not the regular tubes. I use a Q-Tip to get it out of the tub that way you dont have to worry about putting bacteria back in the jar and your hands stand clean :) The cream is thick but not as thick as desitin or other diaper rash creams. It soothes skin upon contact. Great on adult skin too when raw or chapped.

Goes on easy and comes off easy. Doesnt dry out on skin. Not great as a barrier cream but does work very well at clearing up diaper rash... usually by the second day its gone.

I am a member of BzzAgent. (http:www.bzzagent.com). Recently they sent me a few samples of Aveeno products to try. One of the products they sent my way was Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Diaper Rash Cream. I like the cream. It's a nice thick cream without being so thick that it's hard to spread. It's also easy to wipe off between changes and easy to wash off in the bath.

We don't really have big rash worries these days because my son is two years old. However, he is still in diapers and has no idea what's going on when it comes to potty training. We generally use a small glaze of rash cream between all diaper changes for prevention of rashes and such.

I generally use a variety of different brands of rash creams; depending on what I have a coupon for and what happens to be on sale. So, I guess I can say that I have pretty good experience in rash creams. Some rash creams are extremely thick and difficult to spread. Some are very thin and wears off before the next diaper change. ...

My son recently had a really bad diaper rash. So bad that his butt was peeling and almost bleeding. At my house, I use either Method Baby Diaper Cream or another all natural cream - Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Cream. While at my mom's house for a while, I used what she had which was Desitin Original Diaper Rash Ointment. There are a lot of differences between the diaper rash creams I use and the one I was using at my mom's house.

One major difference between these diaper creams is their texture. Method is extremely thin, Burt's Bees is thick, but Desitin Original Diaper Rash Ointment was a super thick paste. It was difficult to apply at first since I wasn't used to using such a thick diaper rash cream before. Desitin also makes a "Creamy" formula instead of "original", if original is too thick for you.

I like how Desitin Original Diaper Rash Ointment really coated and covered the rash area. It seemed to heal it nicely too since it provided such a strong barrier. ...

Since my first child was born 20 months ago, I have become a huge fan of Desitin Diaper Rash Cream! That stuff works amazingly quick and is absorbed quickly into the baby's skin so that it does not leave a mess. I have been very impressed with how fast that the diaper rash will go away. Desitin is safe to use as many times per day as needed, and I like that fact because if I don't change my son quickly after he has a wet or dirty diaper, then nine times out of ten he will start getting a rash. My sister jokes about Desitin saying that she should buy stock in it because she used it on her little boy until he was three and 1/2 years old! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a baby or small child in diapers. You can find coupons for this product online which makes it much more affordable than what you might even pay for the generic brands. I have tried other competitor's products, but I have not liked any of them as much as Desitin!

My daughter was prone to diaper rashes when she was smaller. After trying just about every brand of diaper rash creme, I finally gave up and decided to get a professional opinion. Her pediatrician told me to stop wasting my money on any brand other than this one! I thought the name was hilarious, but after the first use, I was hooked. I will admit, the color threw me after being used to so many "white" pastes and cremes, but now that is a welcome sight for relief for her. Currently in my house I have five tubes just around anywhere for easy access. My doctors opinion means a lot to me, and now I see why he recommends the Butt Paste. I am a lucky mom of a "I'm just happy to be here" baby boy. He doesn't complain about much. But he started struggling with diaper rash when teething began, and I was baffled as to how to help him. It was painful for both of us to change his diaper. We tried your typical diaper rash prevention creams, to no avail. They seemed to prevent it from getting worse, but never healed the rash completely. Then we discovered Pinxav. The rash was better within 24 hours and pretty much gone by 48.

You most likely will have to ask a pharmacist for Pinxav. My pharmacist had to order it for me but it was there the next day. It comes in an easy-to-carry tube or a big tub. I just purchased a tub for around $16 and the tube should run between $6-$8.

Pinxav does have a mediciney smell to it as its purpose is to treat. Part of the draw to other treatments is that they have no scent, but they also don't treat like Pinxav.

My son had the worst diaper rash when he was teething! I went to the doctors and got a prescription..then, a friend told me about Boudreaux Butt Paste. Yes, I know, it's a funny name, BUT, you will remember it! It's wonderful! It cleared the rash in about 2 days! I felt so bad for him, but this stuff is wonderful. There is no smell to it and it is a thick paste, not a thin lotion. The only downfall is if you have lighter colored towels and you apply this after a bath and it gets on the towel, it is a little hard to remove. (I used Totally Toddler to remove it) I usually find it a Babies R Us, Target or Walmart at its cheapest. It is a little expensive, but you can usually find a coupon or contact the company, they are great about sending coupons! All around wonderful product from a wonderful company!

ok so, you go to the store and there are tons of different creams, powders, corn starches etc. forget all of those, and go for this product. It is used in ostomy care, literally heals sore skin over night. It comes in a 1 oz. powder form, comes out of a pin hole opening. squeeze on affected areas, liberally, next spread desitin or whatever all over the top of that, and squeeze more stomahesive over that. it forms a cake frosting coat, when the baby soils diaper, only gently remove dirty areas, LEAVE THE REST IN PLACE, and add more desitin and stomahesive, only completely remove once in a while(like when you give them a bath) watch what happens in 1 day. Product only available at ostomy supply/medical supply stores. Can be ordered online, no script necessary. I learned this method from an experience at a very good hospital, wound care geniuses

Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Cream works and it works well. It sticks well too so I don't have to worry about it rubbing off my babies butt easily. I don't have to use much of it either. A little paste goes a long way. I never use it to prevent rash only to cure it because I believe the less medicine I put on my child the better and healthier he will be. He also rarely gets a rash but when he does this is what I use and it works. I love the title I am however concerned a bit about some of the ingredients used in this cream. Judging from the information on Skin Deep it would be safer to remove some of these ingredients. I'm glad I limit the use of this.

I am the mothe of 9 children aged 3 to 23 (I also have two grandchildren aged 3 and 11/2) so I think I know a lot about diaper rash. Really diaper rash is not fun or pretty. Over the years I think I tried ever creme on the market. Triple Paste is by far the best and fasted (non perscription) creme I have used. Triple Paste really coats the area both to heal and to protect it. With triple Paste my youngest was vertually diaper rash free! After eight children I know that that is really an accomplishment.

Ok, I know that this is going to sound wierd, but Desitin's Diaper Rash Creme is not just for babies anymore. I found this out along time ago when my kids were younger. Since it is so thick, not only is this creme great at relieveing diaper rashes in children but, it is also great at relieving most of the rashes that adults get, depending on where it is at (arms, legs etc.). This product is also wonderful at relieving external yeast infections on both men and women (yes men can get this too!). This product may say that it is for diaper rashes only, but wherever moisture and irritation occur this product can be used to relieve the irritation. Now, eleven years after my youngest child has stopped using diapers, I still buy this product for use on my family members whenever this type of irritation occurs.

I LOVE Desitin Original. I had it used onme and my sisters' when we were babies and it was the choice for me when my children were born. My daughter used to get bad diaper rash no matter how often she was changed and bathed. Desitin was the only diaper rash product that worked. I had received several different brands at my baby shower and did give them all a fair chance. Bordeauxs didn't work as quickly, A&D caused blisters (still not sure why). I find the smell pleasant, as I remember it from childhood. It gives instant relief and works to correct the diaper rash overnight. It is thick enough to stay on the area applied to and not just rub off into the diaper. It also wipes away clean. I find it no more pricey than other brands, in some cases cheaper. The jar is nice to keep in the changing table and should last you quite a while. All and all I really love this product and buy it for all my friends and families baby showers.

This is the only cream that will touch my baby's behind. It is gentle yet efficient at everything it needs to do. It is a little bit more expensive that other diaper creams (okay, let's be honest, it's double the other creams!) but it's worth every single penny (dollar!). I only wish that it would come in a bigger format just because I use quite a bit of it and need to purchase a new tube every week or so!

Another thing that is a little disconcerting is the fact that just recently, Burt's Bees brand was bought out by Clorox!!! I have so far not noticed a change in the quality of the products but would not be surprised if the quality starts to go downhill anytime soon. Then I will have to really shell out the big bucks for baby diaper rash cream!

All in all it is a great cream, especially for the most sensitive skin and it's nice to know there's a product out there that can make my baby feel a little more confortable!
