I started breast feeding and when I wanted to switch to formula, I started using Enfamil A+ in the gold container (for breast fed babies). After I ran out of my Enfamil coupons, I decided to try the comparable Parent's Choice kind, which was basically half the price. My son didn't know the difference and the only difference I could see was that the Parent's Choice kind is not a fine a powder as the Enfamil, which made it a little messy to mix. I also found that you had to shake it really well to dissovle the powder. However, for half the price, it worked for me!

i am a new mother who started with breast feeding and i am now going to formula and breast feeding because my daughter is not getting filled up and is alway hungery. I have Good start gentle plus for her and i really lke this product because she is more alert and happy for longer periods of time. I also found that it is easyer for her to digest but it s also specially made with nutrients that are found in breast milk which made me happy because i want the best for her growth and develpment. As a mother who breast feed for the first month of my daughters life i would recomend good start to any new mom who is changing to formula. I have tried other formula and this is the only kind that seems to work for her in all the ways i want. I really like how the formula is easy to digest because she is not fussy and really seems to like the formula. my daughter was fussy in the beggining but now that has changed and it makes me relax because i no that she is full and not getting upset bellys.

My daughter was on Enfamil premium and for three weeks she was so cranky, it took her an hour to eat her bottle and she always played with her bottle while eating and only took little 10 -20 min cat naps and she was spitting up everytime she ate, so my doctor told me to put cereal in her bottle and i actually tried the gentlease first and it worked like magic, she was eating her formula normal and not playing with her bottle and she was taking more naps and sleeping better, i love this product and so does my daughter she is so much more pleasant and happy

My sister recently had a daughter and breast fed. She is the healthiest little girl out there. My sister lost her baby weight very quickly, her daughter is tall, thin, and healthy. Plus she receives part of what her mommy eats and my sister eats healthy. They say there's no comparison to mother's milk, and the commercial brands are full of fat, leading to chubby children. Plus mother's milk taste natural, formula has a taste that will lead children to wanting thick sweet drinks. It is so natural on her stomach, she does not spit up, no spit rags needed! Her poo has no smell, she has less gas than most babies, and really does not eat much more than a regular child, even though they say breast fed babies do. Plus it is supposed to help mom lose weight faster and is supposed to help prevent breast cancer. It is the all natural way and I was so proud when I heard she was breast feeding! Recently we had a new baby girl, Fallon. She was born September 10, 2009, weighing in at nine pounds exactly. We started breast feeding her 45 minutes after she was delivered and did that exclusively for 3 weeks. On the fourth week, we decided to start supplementing with the Enfamil and she loved it.

Her brother was raised on the Enfamil Gentlease formula and it worked really well for him as well. The two of them both have done well with maintaining their weight and gaining back birth weight. My son had a slight aversion to lactose so we used the Gentlease kind because it had a third of the lactose of the original version.

Fallon is now around 8 weeks old and is up to around eleven pounds. She's getting the little wrist rolls that chubby, healthy well fed babies have. She's able to focus on things well and makes coos and smiles. We are still breast feeding as well as doing the formula, but the supplementing is really helping her flourish.

I was introduced to this product from wic before they stop using it. I nursed my son and was weening him. So i was using this formula. This formula was good for about a week. then it started to give my son stomach aches. his stomach was always hard it made his poop hard. it made him gassy. i thought it was just my son. then my God son was on this formula and it was the same for him. a lot of other moms i know i talked to them about this formula and they experienced the same thing. so the doctor told me to add a little bit more water so i did and well that didn't work.. So after all that i stopped and gave him a different brand of formula and it helped him a lot. the enfamil is a little on the pricey side however i will try this again to see if it will have the same affects on the new baby if it do. then something is wrong with the formula. so all i can really say is to try it out for yourself to see if your baby gets the same side effects.

I am a nursing mom, but needed to supplement my pumping at work. After the birth of my first child, I was unsure what to do, and I wasn't too keen on any of the formulas I'd seen friends using, as they all smelled metallic to me and did not look at all like something I would want my child to injest. A friend, with 3 kids, recommended Good Start, not only because it was a super value on all levels, but also because it was digested most like breast-milk, therefore her kids never experienced discomfort as a result of her using it. I tried Good Start, and was so pleased with the smell and consistency of it, as well as my child's reaction to it, I have been recommending it to friends with new ones ever since. Now, after the birth of my second child, when the time came to supplement, it was a no-brainer to purchase the Good Start. I have used the Parent's Choice Milk Based formula with both of my children. I started off using the more expensive brands and I was told by my Children's doctors that all formula has to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration and that the more expensive brands were no better than the cheaper brands of Formula. After hearing that i decided to go ahead and try the Cheaper brands of formula. I was very familiar with Walmart and made the decision to try their Baby formula. I was surprised at the difference in price to the other brand I started using. The difference was about $15 a can! I started using the formula with my child immediately and I didn't notice any difference in her preference! I also went to the Parent's Choice website and saw that they also offered money saving coupons once a month and free samples. My baby was born early, at 32 weeks to be exact. Therefore, she was put on a formula to increase her weight. The only problem with that was it made her so fussy she couldn't sleep. She had such horrible gas that she grunted and groaned even in her sleep. It was so awful, and I felt so bad for her. I could see how much pain and discomfort she had. I figured the doctor would be upset if I changed her formula due to her need for gaining weight, so without her knowledge i changed the formula. I tried 3 or 4 different kinds, without success. Every one of the formula's stated "for fussy/gassy babies" and every one FAILED! I finally spoke to the doctor and told her the dilemma. Luckily my daughter had shown enough weight gain that the dr agreed to change her formula. The dr suggested Enfamil Gentlease. I must admit, I still had major doubt! my daughters stomache almost enlarged becase i had realized that she was constipated and the doctors we not finding anything to really help her, than i found alimintum and it worked miricles the doctors than said that her stomach was enlarging and if i would have waited any more days that she may have died so alimintum saved my daughters life. Its great for any baby with to much iron in their current formula. I would never try anything different as my first choice of formula over anything else in the world.

I have been using Nestle good start, sense I stopped breast feeding my first child. He never had a bad reaction to the formula. I have two other girls, and after I stopped breast feeding them around 4 months they when to nestle good start and had no problems.

I like how the formula mixes up with ease. When you have a crying,Hungary baby, speed is important!

Price and qualty is very important to me. I want something that is good for my child but also will not brake the bank. Nestle Good Start has that covered! They are in the mid-range price, this lets me know they have a good product, at a reasonablyprice. I know I can buy the large can and still have money for all the other things babies need.

Nestle Good Start had recently changed their label's. This had improved the look of the can, and make it easier for a busy mom like myself to see what is important.

I am very happy with this product, and I will continue to recamend to everyone I know!!

When my daughter was born I tried to nurse for a very long two months... lets just say it didnt work out but for the next baby I have I wont give myself such a hard time because this formula was amazing. She had problems with any other formulas because they were to harsh on her stomach and sometimes it was days before she could go to the bathroom. Any mom would tell you that that is not a good thing and that will cause a very unhappy baby. After a couple months my doctor told me to try this formula and I will never try another again. She adjusted to this formula in a couple of days and stayed on it until she switched to whole milk at a year old. They were no side effects to this formula which was great and it helps with gassy babies as well so it is a bonus. I have reccomended this to many friends and had a few switch over. The only downfall is the price but the way i see it happiness come with a price. If you search around you might be able to find some coupons but no matter what I would...

Enfamil Premium Lipil powder formula has been great for my daughter. We upgraded from the regular Enfamil Lipil when I had a manufacturer check and coupon for the product. The size is a bit smaller than the regular for about the same retail price, but with the coupons that have been recently out, I've been able to purchase at my local grocery store & CVS for less than fifteen ($15) dollars per can.

I like how this formula is thicker and it actually (to me) tastes better than the regular lipil. This product has what they call Triple Guard which is a great addition to this product. It's easy to mix with cereal for a filling food for my daughter when she goes to sleep. Being as it's thicker, it's not as messy to mix as other formulas.

My only complaint is retail price, but with manufacturer checks, manufacturer coupons and store coupons, you are able to get a really good deal on this formula.

I have been using Enfamil now for about 12 years. I have four children and have used Enfamil brand for each one. I find that Enfamil is better at dissolving than any other brand. It causes less gas than other brands do. I especially like that it contains DHA/ARA to help aide in brain function. Since I chose not to breastfeed my children, I am happy that they can still receive formula that is as close to breastmilk as possible. I am glad to use them because they are the only brand clinically proven to improve visual and mental development. My children are very smart and healthy and I don't know if it is from the formula or not, but I'd like to think it had some part in it. The price of Enfamil may be more than some store brands, but it seems to last longer. It is a fine consistency unlike other formulas that are very fluffy looking. This is why I think it dissolves better than other brands and tends to last longer.

We put my extremely colicy baby on this formula and she did so much better on it. She is now 2 years old and it turned out that she is lactose intolerant, so that may have been why she was having trouble with other formulas. The Alimentum made her a happy baby rather than a crying all the time baby. She also had rashes with other formulas and this made them go away. If I had anothe child with problems like this, I would definitely switch to this formula. It is easy to digest and made my life so much easier! It does smell awful but my daughter didn't seem to mind. This is a little bit expensive, but not too much more than regular formula. I never did find it in a larger can either which is where you can find a lot of savings when you are buying formula. I think I paid around $14 for a small can. With formula checks (from the manufacturers), the price wasn't too bad. Great product! Made my daughter stop screaming.

Target's Up and Up formula, which is it's store brand formula, is great. I used it all 12 months of my baby's first year. It didn't make him spit up (something he was pro at!) and it never constipated him (something he's had trouble with!). I did research on it's ingredient list and they are the same as the brand name fomulas' ingredients. Also, it's half the price of the brand stuff! There is sometimes a stigma or mom guilt about not buying the pricey stuff for your baby, but the quality is just as high as Enfamil, or Similac. You're not cutting corners (no mom guilt to be had!), as far as nutrition, but you do save money - I put the extra in the college savings account! The cost of formula can be ridiculous and I definitely have other things I can do with money saved! And no, I'm not shortchanging my bundle of joy! I would recommend Target's store brand Up and Up formula to any mom who uses formula, it's a quality product from a great company!

Check the labels...same thing! My son is a 28 week old preemie. When he first came home, we had tried several formulas. He had acid reflux and his little tummy couldn't handle many formulas. We had him on Enfamil Gentle ease for a long time, but one day I went to Sam's club and discovered this. Instead of $25.xx for the enfamil 24 oz. cans, this was $24.xx for a 45.8oz can! I was skeptical so the next time I went into Sam's I took the label from an Enfamil can with me....it is exactly the same and my son had just as much luck with it as the Enfamil. This formula worked wonders with his acid reflux and seemed to settle him better after his feeding. Also, if you do have a child with acid reflux, this formula does not stain clothing as much as other formulas do. Give it a try, go the the website and request a sample before heading into the store with $25...you'll be glad you did!!

I have been strictly breastfeeding my baby for over 6 months. Now that his appetite has grown and my milk production decreased, the pediatrician gave me a sample can of Nestle formula. The baby would not take it. I remember when we were still in the hospital, the baby was given Enfamil Lipil, so I went looking for it and decided to try the Premium. The baby drank it like it was breast milk. He didn't mind it at all. And most importantly the pediatrician gave me the thumbs up when I reported about the switch....

Every parent wants the best for their chidren even if it means scarificing a little more money than you would have buying the same type of product so why not buy the best. i love this formula for my newborn daughter because it does not make her fussy at all not like with all the other formulas I tried. She eats, burps, and lay down and look around when i have housework to do. Also unlike with other formulas ive tried it does her digestive track good which probably helps with the fussiness. Gental plus comes in the powedered formula which is easy for on the go moms like me or you can also get the concentrated kind which once you open the can you have to refrigerate the bottles youve made and use up the whole can this is good for moms who have a baby sitter or caregiver. I would recommend this type of formula for babys this formula is for infants ages 0-12 months and also had the recommended DHA/ARA
