BECKRI says "Darling, alternative or retro look..." about The Children's Place print ruffle top

I bought these as a gift. I say "these" because I bought one in both colors that were available, one in the pink and one in the green. They are cotton jersey and long sleeved. The print, as well as the colors of the flowers, look like something from the seventies or even older. I paid just over $10 shipped for both as they were part of a sale and I had found a discount code online also. These will match many types of bottoms, jeans, khakis, etc. They're smooth and soft. They are long sleeve, but the material isn't real heavy, so while they provide coverage I don't think they will offer up a whole lot of warmth. But they would be cute under a cardigan or a vest, too. If you are looking for something a bit different from mainstream fashion, you should check out The Children's Place. Not everything there falls into this category of being a little different, but they often do have some very good finds loke these tops.
...

Katrena says "This Catimini Baby Shirt is SOOOO warm and has lots of extras" about Catimini Shirt

I found a Catimini baby shirt and pants set at a consignment shop and am thrilled with this outfit.

Here's what I like:

VERY warm

comfortable--100% cotton outer layer with 100% polyester wadding

lots of cute embellishments with a character and zipper on the front and added details on the sleeves

workmanship appears to be excellent with all seams finished quite nicely

very unique look--I have never seen a shirt like this before

I have washed this outfit numerous times without any problems (cold water with Dreft and dryer on medium heat)

I got this outfit for a fraction of the new price

Here's what I would change:

My kids and I prefer tagless clothing

I suppose the buttons could be a choking hazard, but they appear to be sewn on very well--none of the threads even after multiple washings

Snaps in the back make for a cute style but a little tricky to dress a child that squirms

The cost is quite steep--similar items on the Catimini website are selling for about $60-80 for a set like this

Made in Thailand...

...

Katrena says "Nursery Rhyme 100% Cotton Shirt--SOOOO soft!" about Nursery Rhyme 100% Cotton Shirt

My sister, CyndiA, bought this Nursery Rhyme 100% cotton long sleeved shirt for my 1-year-old with a matching pair of pants.

What I like about the shirt:

100% cotton

tagless--all of my kids LOVE tagless items because tags tend to bother their sensitive skin

VERY soft with the seams from the flowers covered by soft material on the back

fits my baby very well--I like the three snaps in the back for the neck hole because I can pull it on and off without it being tight on my daughter's head

unusual color for baby clothing with pants to match

added details with a soft bow at the neck, pretty pink flowers, and smocking

durable--the baby has worn this NUMEROUS times without signs of much wear at all

easy care--I wash on cold and tumble dry

What I don't like about the shirt:

the baby will only be able to wear this for one season

My Viewpoint:

My baby tends to squirm and pull at clothing that is uncomfortable. When she wears this Nursery Rhyme 100% cotton long sleeved shirt, she can enjoy playing in comfort and...
...
