SpringAlways says "Frill pants for my niece - lovely baby gift idea" about Funkoos Pink Frill Organic Baby Pants

This year because of time contraint I have done a lot of my gift-shopping online. I am not waiting for cyber Monday - what if the products I like are not in stock? Also, I have so many nephews and neices (mostly babies/toddlers) - so I thought instead of buying them toys I will buy useful stuff. Onesies, baby pants, sleep suits are always a must have for moms - so I decided to make common sets (just so everyone gets the same gift :-) and no ones hurt. Funkoos.com has cool baby basics - organic onesies, infant bodysuits, baby pants, baby sleepwear with fun embroidery (love the elephant stack). I got lucky with free shipping on all items which is great!
...

this2shallpass19 says "Koala Baby Brown Linen Shorts are soooooo cute!" about Koala Baby Boutique Brown Linen Shorts

For my son's birthday, my best friend sent the cutest clothes in the mail! Of all the things she sent, one of my favorites are the Koala Baby Boutique Brown Linen Shorts.

I had never heard of Koala Baby Boutique before, but they appear to be a very high-quality brand. The Brown Linen Shorts came on a cute padded hanger made out of linen and had the words Koala Baby Boutique sewn into the material.

The Brown Linen Shorts are not made out of that itchy kind of linen. It is very soft and comfortable feeling. There are two buttoned pockets on the sides, two **** pockets at the hips and two buttoned pockets on the back side of the shorts. There are belt loops, a zipper and a button to close. Made out of 100% linen.

The fit seems true to size and they look absolutely adorable on! The Koala Baby Boutique Brown Linen Shorts were a nice gift from my friend and I would definitely recommend them.
...

Katrena says "Old Navy Baby Pants--warm, durable and good quality" about Old Navy Pants

I have tried quite a number of brands of baby clothes in the seven and a half years that I have been a mother, and Old Navy proves to be a good quality brand that is durable.

What I like about Old Navy baby pants:

durable--these pants have been through the wash numerous times with very little evidence of wear

warm--very thick material, which is especially helpful on cold days

elastic waist--my kids have reflux and elastic waistbands are a necessity because waistbands without any give tend to give my kids a bellyache--these pants tend to have less "give" than a lot of the 100% cotton baby pants that we have though

cute added feature of butterfly stitching near the top

don't wrinkle like a lot of the cheaper brands of clothing (except for the bow at the top)

easy care--I machine wash in cold and dry on medium heat

less expensive than many brands of baby clothing, especially the designer clothes

What I don't like about Old Navy baby pants:

These are 80% cotton and 20% polyester--perhaps more durable...

...

Katrena says "Carter's Baby Cuffed Pants--great quality at reasonable price" about Carter's Baby Cuffed Pants

My baby has worn these Carter's baby cuffed pants so many times, and they do not show any wear at all.

What I like about Carter's baby cuffed pants:

100% cotton--very soft and great on babies with sensitive skin

elastic waist--this pair has been worn numerous times with almost no sign of any wear

cuffs at the ankles--this is a great feature because if they are a little too long the cuff will keep the pants up and away from the feet, which makes it much easier for baby to walk

easy care--I wash with cold water and tumble dry on medium heat

size includes age and weight--two of my children are VERY small for their age, so it is helpful to see the pounds listed when choosing clothing

don't wrinkle like a lot of the baby clothing I have tried

What I don't like about Carter's baby cuffed pants:

tag in the back--the matching shirt is tagless--it would be great to go tagless on the pants as well

made in Thailand (I prefer to buy American made products when I can)

My Viewpoint:

These Carter's baby cuffed pants...
...

Katrena says "Catimini Baby Pants have a unique style and great workmanship" about Catimini Baby Pants

I noticed a Catimini outfit as I was searching through clothing at a consignment shop and got quite a bargain.

These Catimini baby pants have loads of nice perks, including:

very comfortable--the seams are all finished neatly and the elastic in the waist keeps the pants up but does not seem to be too tight

warm

design is very different from the majority of pants I have seen for babies--the crotch area has lots of extra room, which is particularly comfortable for an active baby

lined with an extra layer of cotton fabric

Here is what I would change about these Catimini pants:

Tagless clothing is more comfortable to my children

The cost is prohibitive for many people--new Catimini pants with matching shirts run about $60-80

These are made in Thailand--I prefer American made products when available

My Viewpoint:

If you are looking for excellent quality clothing and money is no object, you may wish to look at Catimini clothing.
Katrena says "Nursery Rhyme 100% cotton pants are comfortable and easy care" about Nursery Rhyme Pants

My sister, CyndiA, bought these Nursery Rhyme 100% cotton pants with a matching shirt for my 1-year-old daughter. I was worried that the baby might not want to wear these pants because they have ridges like cordouroy and are of a thicker material than most of the pants that she wears. I was pleasantly surprised that she loves to wear these pants!

What I like about these Nursery Rhyme Pants:

100% cotton

soft material

two pockets (the baby loves to check pockets!)

elastic waist--easy to get on and off

nice embellishments with little bows at the pockets and ruffles at the bottom

easy care--I wash in cold and tumble dry on medium and these are holding up nicely

What I don't like about these Nursery Rhyme Pants:

the baby will outgrow them soon!

tend to wrinkle if I don't remove from the dryer immediately

made in China

My Viewpoint:

These Nursery Rhyme 100% cotton pants compliment the matching shirt nicely. The baby loves to wear this outfit and I like how easy they are to get on and off and clean.
...

AngiBowman says "Circo - disappointment all around" about Circo Infant Elastic Pants

When it comes to clothes for my kids, I'm all about budgets. Even thought it's way too fun to shop for a little girl, I'm careful. The Circo brand at Target seemed so perfect - $2 for a pair of pants? I think so!

Be careful of these bargains though. Just because they are on sale doesn't mean they are quality. And these most definitely are NOT quality!

Example: My daughter, at the time of the purchase, was 7 months. An average baby, she had (and still had) some rolls. As a precaution and knowing the hot summer months ahead, I purchased the majority of the clothes (shirts and pants) in 12 month size. Now, remember she was 7 months and WEARS 6-9 month clothing.

Circo runs VERY small. So small in fact that I couldn't fit my daughter into some of the 12-month clothes. It was a shame too - they were super cute!

In short, they are VERY adorable and VERY affordable. However, they aren't going to last. They are so small and so flimsy that they're going to be more of a pain than a blessing. If you...
...

We received several pairs of these as hand-me-downs. You couldn't even tell they'd been worn! I have my son in them constantly and they still look great - even after rough wear and repeated washings. I'll be able to either use them for our next baby or feel good about giving them to someone else as a hand-me-down. The jersey lining is nice and soft and makes these really great for winter. I will definitely be looking into buying more of these when he outgrows them....

I have three children. One is a teenager and the other two are toddlers. I LOVE Gap clothes! The BabyGap jeans wear very well. When my children grow out of their Gap clothes, the clothes are in excellent condition and perfect for hand-me-downs, eBay, or consignment reselling. Also, Gap uses the superlastic system in their pants. This consists of an invisible (concealed on the inside of the pant or jean), adjustable , elastic waistband which allows the parent to create a custom fit for their child. Awesome! Would definitelty recommend these jeans and Gapwear in general!...

chaoticfun says "Loved that the jeans are lined with jersery" about Gap Jeans for Baby

I bought several sizes of these jeans when they were on sale at our local Baby Gap. I LOVED that they are lined with a very soft jersey material. When I brought them out of the closet to put on our son, my husband raised the question of the denim being too rough on his skin. I showed him the interior of the jeans and he felt them. His next comment was how soft they were!

I would now buy these at full price if I hadn't already bought several sizes when I could get a good deal!

My only concern is that they may get a little warm during late spring or early summer, but we will probably just dress our son in shorts or light pants at that point anyway....

i buy these for all of my kids i just love them they are worth the money! my son loves then because he's tall and the pants that i have to buy are normally rto big in the waist but the adjustable waist works wonders. my daughter the same way! my youngest daughter is still a little short but there are some cute ones with patters on the inside so if you roll them up then they dont look all weird! for me i dont care for the jeans only because i am a heavier person.....
