I shop at Sears department stores for my children. My favorite clothing line is Carter's and has always been. Their clothes "really" hold up well for my kids. I also buy them for baby-shower gifts, and have been able to donate my children's used clothing to charity for those less fortunate.

I just love Carter's clothes. Nothing else compares to them. They have outlasted both of my kids and 3 niece's and nephews. They are even less expensive then the clothes at Walmart and Target. They also have the best coupons. I have never shopped anywhere else for my kids clothes....

I love carters. I bought carters clothing for my son before he was born and still continue to buy only carters clothign for him now that he is a toddler. That is all I dress my kids in. Before i knew i was going to have a boy, we went and bought the entire rose collection thinking that we might have a daughter. i finally had a daughter 2 months ago and started dressing her in the clothes from carters that I bought back 3 years ago.. The quality of ht eclothes is amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone....

I love Baby LuLu clothing and every-time my daughter is in a Baby LuLu outfit we are sure to be stopped an complemented. The clothing mixes soft pretty floral prints and bright bold coloring and chenille fabrics and creates true masterpieces. They wash well and are durable enough to withstand a few children. I would highly recommend this children's clothing line.

One caveat, if your daughter is under 3 save your money on the adorable hats...in general it isn't worth the additional cost for a child that refuses to wear a hat!

Several years ago, I started shopping at a store called Chocolate Soup for my daughter. I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of the boy clothes (very much dress up boys clothes), but they have ADORABLE girl clothes.

One thing in particular that I like are their jumpers. The chocolate soup jumpers are appliqued with seasonal designs. They are incredibly unique and look darling on little girls. I have: a whale with shooting water, a dancing frog (with a tulle tutu), a floral bouquet, a cat and mouse, a 4th of July theme, etc. I also like the fact that they are cross-season. For example, you can pop a turtle neck on for cold weather and then a short sleeve shirt for summer. Adorable, simply adorable. Lastly, they are machine washable and, if turned inside out, they keep their shape and color perfectly.

The downside is that the jumpers are pretty pricey. About $85 each. If you catch a sale (which is pretty much always), you can get them for $20 each. I typically stock up on about 5-7 and...

Okay, so I take a lot of pride in how my kids look. I guess I am just one of those moms....

One of my favorite brands to buy for my daughter is Baby Lulu. They have some of the most adorable and unique dresses. They tend to be multiple patterns or appliques. They wear well (meaning I can wash them a million times and they still look good). I would however, suggest that you wash the dresses on delicate and inside out.

One downside to Baby Lulu is that sometimes the patterns are VERY bold for young ones. At times large patterns can overshadow your child. So, I would definitely pick and choose wisely. I tend to buy ones that are simple patterns near their face with intricate bottoms. :)

Overall, I am a big fan of Baby Lulu. I would much prefer my daughter have 5 or 6 really nice dresses than a ton of cheap baby clothes that wear poorly.

My tip: If you have a Chocolate Soup or Nordstrom Rack in your town, you can likely get really GREAT deals there. Baby Lulu Dresses average between $40-$100...
