I was so worried about the BPA affects I decided to throw out my son's Avent bottles & went to Target to purchase a few Born Free 9 oz bottles. I bought 4 and all four bottles leak! I have let others try to put them together, but same problem. Everyone that has tried it has ended up saying "these bottles suck"! They are fine as long as my son has it in his mouth it only slightly leaks every so often, but when you set the bottle down there is a gush of milk that comes out of the white ring. I have tried wiping it out before use, yet I still have the same problem. I am so ready to throw these out & go dig in the trash to find my good bottles. I was always told never to heat up bottles in the microwave which is the BPA problem, since it doesn't give a consistent temperature. My son is also able to pull the nipple out while he has the bottle since the ring does not hold the nipple in place as well as the avent bottles. —...

I am primarily breastfeeding, but I have used Avent bottles several times when I have pumped.

Playtex Drop-Ins take all the work out of bottle feeding. My wife wanted to nurse our Daughter, but also needed a break at the end of the day from the 14 or so feedings! She turned to her trusty pump and, what I like to call, the greatest invention known to the parent, the Drop-Ins! She pumps into them and all I have to do is drop it into a bottle, heat it up in some water and I'm off and running. These aren't messy, don't leak, and save my wife from having to hand wash yet another baby item! This is a real must have! —...

wow, what a cup. With the soft latex sippy top its heavy duty but great for the youngest baby. My breastfed daughter didn't like bottles so I tried this to introduce her to a sippy cup. She took to it very well and wont drink from any other sippy. She loves to hold the cup by the handles. — I haven't had any leaks from the sippy at all and the handles come off for easy storage in your diaper bag. Even though the price is about six dollars, I feel it is well worth the price. I have been able to find the cup at Walmart and drugstore.com. — A definite must!! —...

I have used the Munchkin Baby Bottle Brush since it made it's debut in the baby isle. I bought one and it lasted through 4 babies and beyond! The Munchkin Baby Bottle Brushis amazingly sturdy and the nipple scrubber stashed in the handle is the most convenient way to store a nipple scrubber so it doesn't get lost and is always handy! — One big problem with most bottle cleaners is that the cleaning brush can easily miss small particles. However, the sponge top on the Munchkin Baby Bottle Brush doesn't miss a thing and you can rest assured that your bottles are well cleaned. — The Munchkin Baby Bottle Brush should be a staple in any baby layette! —...

I am a first time mom. We use the playtex drop-ins. The biggest pro is that it decreases the gas swallowed by the baby. However, it's really not less washing. Milk still gets around the rim of the bottle, so I still end up washing the entire bottle. So that part doesn't set it apart from other bottles. A few times people have pushed a little too hard on the bottom of the liner to push out the air and it exploded and spilled all over the place. Also, all of the bottles come with the low flow nipples. But, they're working well. My son takes them well. It seems cleaner since each one gets a new liner. —...

The Playtex Nurser is the best bottles I've came across. I didn't have 7,000 bottles cluttering up my cabinets, just 12. The interchangeable liners are so nice. You can take one bottle with you and a couple bags and your set. I breastfed all 3 of my children. I'd pump and store in a quart size plastic juice container, and when it was time to go out for the evening with my husband, made life much easier. Never had to worry about if there was enough for the baby while I was out or anything. Having parents who are older they loved not having to deal with normal baby bottles. Just dispose of the liner and wash the nipple. Done. The nipples are similiar to my own so my children took to them much better then the normal bottles. Everyone got a chance to feed them (which after the first one, I was all for someone else feeding for a...

I do not have or own the bottles - but when my baby was having difficulty sucking and eating it was suggested to get # 2 nipples so formula flows faster and baby would be more comfortable adapting to bottle and get the proper nutrition he required - it was a time when the BPA craze was out and most suppliers were sold out of everything long stroy short I foun Dr. Brown # 2 nipples are they are the only nipple baby will take without a fus no matter what brand bottle it is used with - they are very versitle and do not leak with the other brand bottles.
I am the mother of 4 kids, all of whom have been breast fed exclusively! I have owned many breast pumps, including the famous Mendela Pump in Style. I have gotten better result from the Avent Isis Manual than any other. I had read a few negative reviews online, but wanted to give it a shot myself, as most of the reviews were great. Things I love about this product is that you can completely control the suction of the pump. You can pump one side, while your baby nurses, and it is completely silent, so baby isn't disturbed, and you can take advantage of the let down...resulting in more milk pumped. I love that once you milk comes in, you really only have to hold the pump handle down, so your hand really doesn't get tired. Plus my milk has come in faster with this pump than any other, although I did have to remove the "petal" insert. There are a lot of pieces, but if you loose the instructions like I did, you can easily find then on Avents...

Okay, so I never thought I would get so excited over something like this, but after trying the other stuff out there, believe me, it's merited. The Munchkin bottle brush is by far the best there is! Not only does it add color to your kitchen:), but it's bristles are sturdier than the others that I have tried. In fact I soak it in hot water with the bottles for a while so it slides into the bottles more easily. The sturdy bristles get the bottles cleaner than other brands and the handle is shaped perfectly so that you can maneuver the brush into the edges of the bottle. The hidden nipple brush is awesome and it has a suction cup bottom, so you won't misplace it. As bottle brushes go, this one lasts longer than any of the others did and I am so pleased with Munchkin that I've stopped trying other brands! —...

We tried several different brands of baby bottles (playtex, avent, born free, etc.) and went through several different brands of baby formula. The formula that ended up working best for her was the liquid version of Enfamil Lipil Nutramigen. The powder constipated her, but she was still very gassy. Her pediatrician recommended Mylicon and excercises to help relieve the pressure, but she was still so uncomfortable all the time. Thank goodness we found Dr. Brown's bottles! After the first feeding using the Dr. Brown's bottles we noticed a difference. They really made her sensitivity manageable and she is a much happier baby. The bottles are also more narrow than other brands, and now that she's older she seems to like holding these better than others, as do I whenever I feed her. Another bonus is that they also now make a BPA free version of the...

The Avent drop in system was the first I used because it was given to me as a gift at my baby shower.
