mhurst826 says "Only the best for my preemie! These are the ONLY bottle we use!" about The First Years Soothie Baby Bottle

My daughter was born just over 8 weeks early. After a hard fight for her life, we were able to take her home. I was taking blood pressure medications, and was forced to stop pumping. We searched for a bottle that was not only safe, but easy for her tiny mouth to use, and variable flow that she could handle. We tried all the normal ones, Playtex, Gerber, Medela, and then I found these soothie bottles. She has ONLY used soothie binkies( the little orange ones from the NICU), and refused anything else. I donated everything else we had once I got these. We started with the stage 1 nipple, and now use both 1 and 2 depending on her bottle (she is on Rx formula now). I highly reccomend these to anybody who needs a different bottle for their special baby. One of my favorite features is the snack cups you can attach to the bottom. I put her formula and duocal supplement in there, then mix with the warm water when I need it! Also the 5 oz size is ideal when you need use 4 oz of water...

Boohergirl says "Very good, had mine through two kids" about Evenflo Chase Car Seat

This is a very good car seat. I used one for my son, and still have it and am using it for my daughter. In fact we have 3 of them, one for my car, my husbands car, and also for my grandma's car. They are very easy to use, and you can take the cover off and clean it very easily. They come in different colors and are easy to move around. My son liked his, and we have kept it to use with our daughter. The straps adjust up and down, and can be used for any child height. The material is well made, and does not rip easily. It does tend to fade on the seat part from normal wear and tear. You can take the cover off and wash it in your washing machine, and you don't have to worry about it shrinking and not going back on. I have washed mine numerous times, and never had a problem getting it back on. It has the 5 point harness system and is very easy to use. We have bought 3 of them, and have not had any problems with any of them....

lolpinkk says "Parent's choice work best fr us!" about Tushies Comparison of Baby Diapers Diapers

Okay. — Well. Me and my family have done an experiment. — We bought 3 diiferent diapers, — - Luvs — - Parent's Choice — - Huggies — and we poured cups of water in all of them, and which ever one holds the most water, is the winner. Here is what happened: — Luvs- We could pour 3 cups of water in this diaper before it all startes to seep out. — I would say this is not the BEST diaper, and is expensive, but is not the WORST either. — Huggies- We could only pour one and a half cups of water into this very expensive diaper. — I would say this is the worst out of all the ones we tested. This diaper is very expensive as well. not a good choice. — Parent's Choice- When we tested this diaper, we were VERY suprised to find that it could hold FOUR cups of water until water seeped out. IMPRESSIVE, HUH ? — So we declare paren'ts choise, THE WINNER! This diaper in unexpensive , and is a VERY good value. BRAVO! —...

MamaBear2007 says "It is Simply the Best carseat I have found out there" about Britax Boulevard Car Seat

The Britax Boulevard is the best i have found in safety and comfort for the child. the safety rating is high with "true side impact Protection". It's a must have if you have to set the seat next to the door (instead of in the middle). It has a 5 point harness and is tangle free, and its very easy to clean. the negative the price is kinda high but if you spend more, and buy the right carseat the first time, it will save you money. It also comes in different colors and styles. It is rear and forward facing (I brought my son home from the hospital in it). Another thing is i heard the flame retardent they put on the carseat there have been some problems with kids reacting to it and them smelling. A few simple ways to solve this problem is one make sure there is some clothing between his legs and the material, Two if your super careful like me wether it smells or not if you run it through the wash it will help take some of that of and smell out. And lastly you will get alot of use...

To the Point — — When my mom took her first fall in the Assisted Living Facility she is in I realized I had to do something to the sharp corners on her coffee table. She's had this table for years but this apartment is smaller than the condo in Florida so I'm even more concerned with safety. I remembered the corners I used for my own children and headed to Target where I found 4 Foam Corners by Safety 1st. If I had looked online I would have found clear corners which I know she would like better. These come in white and tan. The only ones Target had were tan so I bought them for about $10.00. A Closer View — — I liked the fact they can be taken on and off. Safety 1st corners come with a lot of adhesive so if my mom takes these off (for company) then I can just put a piece of adhesive on the back of the L- shaped corner and we're good to go. There are plenty of adhesive pieces to keep her going for a long time. The tape is double sided sticky so it's easy to...

I've finally discovered that various manufacturers of diapers cater to different shapes of children. Kind of like Wrangler and Levi fit different shaped people. — Parent's Choice diapers fit my long and lean baby nicely. As long as I get the diaper properly placed, which is a bit of a project since she's VERY active, these diapers typically do not have any episodes of leaking. — These diapers do not cause my daughter to have rashes, and she has sensitive skin. — Some diapers have some sort of perfume in them--Parent's Choice diapers do not have an odor unless your little one has made a deposit. — Diapers have come a long way since 2001, when I first became a mom. Parent's Choice diapers have a picture on the front of the diaper and tabs that you can re-adjust without ripping the diaper apart. The elastic around the legs makes life much easier. — Parent's Choice diapers come in bags or boxes. I prefer the bags because they are less...

calliope says "The BEST baby carseat/stroller/carrier ever" about Orbit Infant Transport Travel System

This is a great, modular travel system! The base makes the seat very secure, yet still very simple to get in and out of the car -- it seriously takes me less than 30 seconds to get the baby in or out of the car in her carrier. As for the stroller base, it collapses with a one-handed flick of the wrist and takes about 5 seconds to get back to business. There's a "cargo pod" that hooks in underneath the stroller. It looks small, yet holds a surprising amount of stuff: a changing pad, travel sized wipes, an American Red Cross baby care kit, 5 diapers, 3 outfits, burp cloths, a bottle, formula, toys, a blanket, an extra shirt for Mom... you get the picture. Then there's the carrier itself, which is useful and comfortable for naps and trips out on the town. —

I've been able to get through airport security solo with an infant using this thing. It's spendy, but totally worth the money. —

The toddler car seat is out now! It requires an upgrade to car seat bases made...

I received several different tubs from baby showers and even though I later found out this was the cheapest (cost-wise) tub, we were very happy with it. It is simple, no-frills but does the job. You only use the tub for less than a year anyways so why spend a lot? Our daughter loves this tub. She used the recline side for a few months, then liked the sitting up side more. There are a few skid pads for gripping but honestly in a tub a baby is going slipper no matter what! We didn't use the sling/hammock....
