2007 650 Custom V-Star — The Bike I own is red with a Silver Strip, it attracts attention all the time. The 650 Custom is easy to ride because it shifts smooth and easy, the balance is perfect. I'm a smaller petite size so I am not very strong to hold up a big heavy bike. The seat is lower so I sit comfortable. This gives me more confidence in riding. — The 650 can do Highway miles with ease, I can go 70 without even knowing, it just glides. The sound of the pipes are not very loud, they are tough sounding, they rumble and growl. If you want a classy look with all the power, the 650 Custom is right up there with the best of them. This is the sharpest looking bike with all the style! —...

I am a proud owner of a Honda VTX1800! There is no other bike that compares. I get asked everyday why I don't own a Harley? All I have to say is if you've ever get a chance to ride a VTX 1800 take it. The VTX is the most customizible bike around. I have easily added ape hanger handlebars, screamin eagle pipes, and numerous other things and I still haven't come close to what I would have to pay for a Harley. Also, Harley doesn't have an 1800cc engine either. This bike isn't made for smaller people though. It is a huge bike with a very stable ride. If your over 6 foot tall try it you'll like...

I purchased a 1999 Shadow VT1100c3 Aero from a private owner with less than 3000 miles on it. This bike is AWESOME! I was a bit concerned about these v-twin bikes vibrating after reading a few reviews, but those concerns melted away after I took this bike for a spin! It was really a non-issue. — The bike has plenty of hp for 2-up riding and can move when you want it to. Even with the 1100cc engine, I get about 45-48mpg.. and that is really nice with $4.15 per gallon of gas. — The Shadow Aero is a great looking bike. It rides great and handles well. Speeds up to 60mph are very nice, but it gets a bit of vibration over 60mph. The maintenance on this bike is very minimal since it is shaft driven. No chain to oil, adjust, or replace. It is made with Honda quality and very reliable. I would recommend this bike to anyone. —...

I've had this bike for 3 years now, and it has consistently delivered 52+mpg. It has plenty of power for 2 riders. The seat height is low so it's comfortable for shorter riders. The parts are typically priced for a motorcycle, and the oil filter can be purchased at non-cycle places saving the rider money. The factory seat is adequate for the rider, but I updated mine due to the lack of padding for long rides for my...

I highly recommend this motorcycle for performance and handling. The 805cc engine is water cooled and fuel injection giving you all the power you will need. — The stock seat is highly uncomfortable because your tailbone sits on 2 bolts underneath the cushion. After a 30 minute ride you begin to experience some real pain in tailbone. To provide relief I ordered a custom Corbin leather seat which will fit the Suzuki M50 and the good news is that you do not have to reconfigure anything because one bolt already in place is all it takes to attach one piece seat which includes room for a passenger. —...

Last October (2007), I bought an '07 Bonneville America from Erico Motorsports in Denver. I have put about 900 miles on it since, and I have to tell you that I love it. — — The 07/08 Triumph lineup is sweet indeed. I ahve been wanting an America or Speedmaster for the past few years, and in October, when Triumph was doing their $1200 in accessories special, I called around and made myself a deal on a shiny new America. — — The first thing I did to it was to remove the air injection and replace the pipes with a set that has a little more attitude. Off the showroom floor the America and Speedmaster bikes sound like sewing machines. — — I also added the Triumph leather saddle bags, a tachometer, tinted flyscreen, Kuryakyn Grips, and the leather tank cover. It's a real head-turner everywhere it goes. — — I am also enjoying the gas savings in this current economic environment. While the America isn't necessarily designed to get as good of...

Sharkopath says "Awesome in the twisties, on the long tour, or to commute." about Yamaha FZ-6 - 2007 Motorcycle

The 2007 Yamaha FZ-6 is a very versatile, middleweight with fuel injected R6 power and light, strong aluminum frame with a swing arm, four-pot brake caliper, fairing, seat, and fuel injection. The bike is strongly built to do almost anything and to take you anywhere. This is the bike you will ride to work during the week and through serpentines in the weekends, satisfaction included. — The headlights give the bike its cool looking face and the windscreen provides aerodynamics. Fairing, windscreen and high quality paint look great and reduce turbulence. The gas tank has a very modern design and it looks like an integrated part of the aluminum frame. This Yamaha FZ6 has a very comfortable seat but more important it's what's under the seat: a stainless steel exhaust system with head shield which looks cool and doesn't interfere with passengers or luggage. — The bike's technical features make it as attractive as it's looks. The 600cc liquid-cooled 16-valve DOHC four...

Harley-Davidson has developed some exciting bikes since they became employee owned, teetering on the verge of bankruptcy in the mid-eighties. What a turn around for the company, from just about out of business to a lean and mean organization that has case studies written about the excellence of its management for use in prestigious business schools. — — Harley's strength has always been in their heavyweight motorcycles and they have an impressive array of models to choose from. Each model has plenty of unique details to delight your eye and the thumpa-thump idle is guaranteed to ignite your desire for the open road. — — The 2008 Harley Softail Deluxe is a member of the Softail family, one of the three divisions of the heavyweight motorcycle line. There are seven other members of the Softail family to choose from, ranging from mild to wild, but all with that unmistakable 96 cubic inch monster V-Twin with the rumbling exhaust. — — The Softail...

The Fat Boy is a member of the Harley Softail family with the sleek appearance of the old rigid frame Harleys of yesteryear but the modern ride comfort of the shock absorbers hidden underneath. — — The name comes from the brawny appearance with the chunky tires fore and aft, large chrome forks, and 5 gallon gas tank. There is nothing fat about the engine, Harley-Davidson's proven Twin Cam B V-Twin whose displacement is 96 cubic inches (1600 cc). The engine has ESPFI - Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection standard for easy start up and better fuel economy. With the new fuel injection, it is just like a modern automobile, you start it up and go without choking and waiting until it can run without staggering and stumbling. The Big Twin gives loads of performance for your driving pleasure. — — The Fat Boy has a six-speed wide ratio gearbox that allows you to drive at all speeds and take advantage of the famous Harley powerband with its low end torque....

2005 Yamaha V-Star Classic — — This is a full sized cruiser at a mid-sized price. The Yamaha V-Star Classic takes its styling cues from the old Harley Davidson cruisers of the 1950s with the rigid frame and large V Twin engine. — — Yamaha goes a step further past the appearance and updates the bike to take advantage of the modern technology available to make a world class motorcycle at an affordable price. — The V-Star Classic has a 650 cc engine (40 cubic inch) with single overhead cams, dual Mikuni carburetors, and shaft drive. The shaft gets its power from the five speed transmission and the horsepower is adequate for some pretty substantial thrills and 80 MPH freeway jaunts. — — In my opinion, this is the bike all the Japanese Harley clones want to be; the V Star has the most authentic look and feel of any of the Japanese V Twin cruisers. It is exactly the same dimensions as a Harley Big Twin and rides with very much the same...

2008 Harley-Davidson Cross Bones — — A new model for 2008, Harley-Davidson's Cross Bones reminds me of an old 1940s or 50s Harley, stripped down with the large bicycle seat, ape hanger handlebars, and the body color springer fork. The bike is devoid of garbage and has a large front tire and mildly custom fenders instead of the big square stock types. — — The bike has a few nice surprises, like the footboards instead of pegs, and the heel and toe shifter and large rubber brake pedal all of which add rider comfort along with the cushy solo seat with the nifty chrome springs. — — Speaking of springs, the gloss black springer fork has four of them, all chrome. The rest of the bike is all gloss black, with a startling chrome accent here and there, just for good measure.
Those seeking a Harley sound should stick with Harley's. — That's always been the way I look at it, and I tire of being told that I need to put pipes on my bike to make it sound "more throaty". — My Boulevard is a great bike. Carrying myself and my wife (a combined 270 lbs-we're not big), this thing has a lot of punch left over, even climbing hills. Obviously if you're a bigger guy with a bigger gal, I suggest you move to a larger Boulevard. — The stock seats aren't bad, but can quickly be improved with a sissy bar for this mrs. The price is in the reasonable 7500 dollar range, which fits the bike. The shaft drive is nice for those of us who are chain-wary, and the only "should have" would be a tac-o-meter. — Overall, it's a solid bike for any level of rider, plenty of power for those of us in the small-mid size range. —...
