The Nissan Murano is the absolute best & extremely comfortable. I orginally got this vehicle because I have serious back problems, and it is absolutely PERFECT! It's so comfortable and exactly the right height so that I don't have to worry about hurting myself getting in and out of the truck. It's also very safe, and reliable. The only drawback is that the trunk does not have much room in it, but the overall comfort of the vehicle overrides any drawbacks. It's the perfect truck for my family....

williaminman66 says "its a sturdy workhorse" about Mitsubishi Galant - 1997

I have owned this car since it was new- and after 12 years of driving it, I can totally recomend it. Its definitely not "eye candy" or "high performance". But if you are looking for something thats ultra-reliable and good on gas- this would be a great car to get.

I have over 115, 000 miles on it, and I have not had to buy anyhting major for it yet. The most expensive repair ive done on it was changing the alternator. My car is not going to land me any "babes" and not going to win any races--but I am happy with it, and ive certaintly got my moneys worth. In fact, when I buy a new car- i will not trade this one in--I will keep it as a secondary car until it completely falls apart.

I get around 22 miles to the gallon (not bad for that old of a car). I have noticed though that the antenna gets stuck drawing back in every time i turn the car off--and thats not just my car either--I have encountered 2 other gallant owners who have the exact same problem.

This is a first car for your kid--or...
...

Punkrock666 says "I really love my little Hyundai Accent" about Hyundai Accent - 2007

I bought my charcoal gray 2007 Hyundai Accent in 2007, brand new, from Jenkins Hyundai in Ocala, Florida. Shopping was not the best experience, as the sales people are all over you constantly and trying to upsell you this and that. I bargained for what I think was a great price (at the time, of course, now with the recession it's probably overpriced!), $12,000.

Here's the thing you need to know about Hyundai Accents: they're small. they're 4 cylinders. they're not flashy. What they ARE is great on fuel, adorable (the hatchback version at least), practical and a great value for the price. Mine doesn't have power windows or doors, but I wanted it that way - the less things that can break down, the better. Hyundai cars aren't the little Gremlin-looking things they were in the 80's. In fact, they're one of the top brands to own now. They're extremely reliable (mine's going on three years and not a single problem) and believe it or not, they can haul a LOT of stuff. ...
...

annie123 says "Test Drive the VW 2010 CC - it's great!" about Volkswagen CC - 2010

Has anyone taken a test drive of the new VW CC? Or better still, purchased one? My lease expired on my Acura TSX and I'm looking for a new car that is - in no particular order - easy on the eyes, practical, reliable, kinda sporty, good gas mileage and has lots of options available.

I'd done some reading on the VW CC and the "experts" gave it very good marks overall. So yesterday I went to my local VW dealership and this delightful and knowledgeable sales person explained the many features of the car, the options, the availabilty for the color, etc., that I wanted, and the purchase/ leasing options.

Then I took it for a spin...

This particular vehicle did not have the exterior color I wanted but inside it was my fav - black leather. For it's price - it lists around $34K with my upgrades - it's "sexy" inside and out. Comfortable seats, including seat warmers... Nice sound system... A navigaition system that was easy to use AND worked as a camera for reverse. It also makes a tone when...
...

tohano1 says "The Dodge Charger "IS" all that!" about Dodge Charger - 2006

I am a lover of the Dodge Charger since way back. I owned a 1968 Charger. I had to sell it to help raise start up money for my new business. I always said if Dodge revived the Charger I would by one.

I saw the first new Chargers and wasn't too sure I liked what I saw. 4 Doors? Hmmmmm....

Then I went down to the dealership and there it was. My eyes popped out. This wasn't the normal edition. The car in front of me had a few upgrades the sales manager had added. It was his presonal car and had a 3 inch exhaust added, a chrome grill (not real chrome) and a black fin. All this on a beautiful dark red finish. I knew then in there I was in trouble, lol.

The car has GPS, an excellent sound system, Syrius radio and other amenities. This Dodge Charger lives up to it's name and more. Sometimes when a classic muscle car is revived, justice is not done to it. Like the new revived GTO's. Didn't last long did they?

Great gas mileage, great power. I feel one major weakness I would like Dodge to look at...
...

TheBadge says "08 Audi A6 is as if your living room couch came with 280 horses" about Audi A6 - 2008

I've owned the 2008 Audi A6 for about a year now, and like any car, there are pros and cons to it.

I'll start with the bad and go to the good. There's really not much that I can complain about besides the quirkiness of the electrical system from time to time. For example:

The dealership had to work with the bluetooth settings for a while before they could figure out why my phone wouldn't connect.

My center council display will randomly shut off from time to time.

The windows will get stuck in a mode where the auto up and down doesn't work.

I could complain that the 2008 model does not have an automatic garage door opener, which was very surprising. I didn't even realize this until after I had purchased the car...i thought this was just standard on all vehicles. The 2009 has this option.

And as far as hardware problems, I've had some rattling of pieces in the car, but that's about it.

On the flip side, the good certainly outweighs the bad (especially if you have a long-term warranty)...
...

I had multiple problems with the transmission within the first 20,000 miles. Glad for the lifetime warranty!!! Gas mileage not as good as it claims and there is no room in the back, my previous car was a honda accord and the trunk of it would hold 3 times what the back of the compass can. Post back surgery it came in handy as it is easy to get into and out of regarding its height from ground level. Wouldn't buy another car the first year it is released again, getting quirks worked out first. The flashlight never works.

The Ford Edge is a perfect suv because of its size, speed and gas mileage. It is the perfect size for a family car and has tons of room in the trunk for when you go on those annoying long car trips with the family. It might be the widest car on the rode which i feels is a nice thing because when you are driving you feel like you are driving the biggest car around and no one would want to mess with you. This car has some real nice pickup, it is extremely fun to find an empty rode at about three in the morning and see how fast you can get this bad boy rolling. the gas mileage for the size of the car is perfect and it is very good on the enviroment too it get around 24 miles to the gallon and it doesnt takes thar much to fill it all the way up. i absoluetly love this car and would recommend it to anyone i am currently in the process of trying to buy a new one and if i had the money currently i would buy it in a heart beat.
...

I love my Honda Pilot. Hands down the best car I have owned. If you have seen that commercial where a couple wakes up earlier every morning to beat their spouse to the car....that is my wife and I. As soon as our second car needs an upgrade I will be back at the Honda dealer looking at Pilots.

I love the comfort of the ride - much more like a "car" then my previous SUV's. I live in the city so parking and maneuvering can be tight at times, but despite its spacious interior I have never felt like the car is bulky or hard to turn.

If you are looking at SUV's at all - take the time to drive one of these. I recommend black, 3rd row seating with the moon roof.
...

I have had a very poor experience from a maintenance perspective with my 2006 Audi A6. It has been in for service over 50 times in the last 2 years and, while it is covered under warranty, has not produced any confidence in this brand from my perspective. The cost for service is very expensive relative to other luxury car brands, specifically American automotive companies.

I would not recommend Audi Certified Pre-Owned Program and strongly urge interested buyers to beware of the product Audi certifies.
...

This is by far the best car for the money. You can get 1999 Jeep Cherokee for about $5,500 that is in excellent condition. This automobile will last you a very long time! very dependable, not terrible gas mileage, and i have been seeing more and more of these Jeeps on the road everyday. I have never had a terrible problem with this besides the air conditioning going out once, and all of my friends who have these cars have not had a single problem or complaint. The safety ratings are outstanding. Great car for beginning drivers or even experienced drivers.
...

I am a owner of a Honda Accord years 2004 & 2007

I love the way they handle on the road I drive in the snow in the winter month and the drive on the road is just as good as on dry road even wet road it will handle smooth it will make you feel safe when you drive it.

I have had my H3 for 3 years now. Wonderful car. I have never had a single issue with it. It tells you when you need to change the oil (roughly every 7,500 to 10,000 miles) which is huge for a busy working Mom like me. Its the same price as a Jeep Commander or similar SUV but people think you spent way more! Plus you get Onstar! It isn't as roomy as you would think it would be, but the seats fold down so you can fit plenty of things in it. The cargo area, and rear seats are not carpeted or upholstered so its perfect for pets, or putting muddy sports gear in the back. Its also a fantastic vehicle for the snow and icy winter months. Gets between 15-17 miles per gallon as well. Not to shabby! Overall I would highly recommend an H3 to anyone. Its a very well rounded SUV.
...

We are trading in our car in a few months and we are going back to the saturn dealer and try to find another one there just a newer year. Ever since i have started driving the saturn ion, i have fallen in love with it. We dont have to take it to the shop that much. Just for your basic things, like oil change and tires and what not. The gas mileage is excellent. We visit out family in another state very often. Its around a 300 mile trip and we only use a half a tank of gas. It is wonderful and very comfortable. Thanks for making such a great car.
...

CyndiA says "Honda Accord - very solid family car with good gas mileage. " about Honda Accord 4-cyl. - 2009

I got the Honda Accord 4 cyl on the 2009 Cash for Clunkers deal this past summer. That was a short program, so I had to decide fast. With the good reputation on the Honda Accord, I felt it was a safe choice.

To be honest, I much prefer trucks and sports cars. But, I really needed to go with a family car with good sized teen boys and with older relatives who really don't need to try to climb in and out of stadium seating on a 4W drive SUV. Also, I wanted something easier on gas than the Xterra. The Honda Accord fit the bill as far as being sensible and with a nice price with the Clunker rebate.

I went with the black on the Accord with black interior. That is hard to keep clean, but it looks cooler than the other colors (the red being a really awful shade as far as I was concerned). It also does not have the fake wood look inside like with the tan inside option. That reminded me of 1960s station wagons, so I did not like the fake wood trim inside at all. The black has a silver trim which...
...

SarahBAbles says "So glad I traded my '07 Honda Civic for my '09 Kia Borrego!" about 2009 Kia Borrego

After the birth of my second child the '07 Honda Civic I was driving felt very cramped. I am 5'8" and my husband is 6'1" so we're not short by any means. With two car seats in the back, both rear-facing at the time, it was nearly impossible to take a comfortable trip with the whole family. We purchased our Kia Borrego in April of 2009 after looking at Fords, Chevrolet, BMW, and Jeep. We decided on the burnt orange Kia, which matches my red hair perfectly, before even test driving it. The Borrego has three rows of seating, back up sensor, iPod hook up, satellite radio, decent gas mileage, and can even pull our horse trailer. I can now very comfortably fit my two sons in their fairly large car seats, my husband, myself, and our double stroller in my truck (affectionately known to us as "Big Red")with room to spare. I worried about going from such a small car to a big SUV, would I be able to park it easily? Yes. I haven't found an instance yet where I can't fit into a standard parking space...
...

kauton says "Best Vehicle I have ever owned!" about Honda LX - 2004

If you are looking for the perfect family vehicle... this is IT! Maybe you are one of those people who have said, "I will never drive a minivan!" Well, get ready to change your mind. I was one of those people and after test driving my minivan, I was willing to swallow my pride and make the purchase. I am so glad I did! It was the best vehicle purchase I have ever made!

Along with the amazing comfort of the driver's seat, the two captain seats in the back, and 18, yes 18, cupholders, this minivan has lots of extra features that are designed especially for families. It is so nice to be able to open the side doors with just a touch of a button on my key chain. The kiddos can just hop right in while I load up the groceries, baseball gear, or the cooler after a picnic in the park.

The continued service that we have received from Honda Dealership Service Departments continues to prove that purchasing a Honda is always worth the extra money! Gotta love a Honda!
...

shoegirl24 says "Disappointed." about Mitsubishi Lancer - 2003

After owning the Mitsubishi 2003 Lancer for a few years, I have become completely disappointed with the ability of this car to hold up long-term. I need a car that I can depend on for years, and unfortunately my Lancer has become completely unreliable after only six years. The car started out fine and I was loving the short turning radius and accelaration capabilities of the car, but right after my warranty ran out (around 60,000 miles), it began to have problems the transmission and the check engine light came on constantly. Recently, one of my climate control knobs fell off, and I found out from my mechanic that this is a common problem with Lancers. Apparently Mitsubishi even knew about the problem and issued a statement to their dealers, but did not issue a recall, which leaves all of us that have this issue with around a $1000 bill to have the entire climate control board replaced (which is what has to be done in order to replace the knob). I think this is shady business, and I will...
...
