hitechew72 says "Best van I ever owned!" about Hyundai Entourage - 2007

We bought a Hyundai Entourage (2008) the Monday after Thanksgiving to replace my Ford WindStar (the transmission went out on the WindStar for the third and last time). On Christmas Day our Entourage was demolished in an accident on our way home from my sisters house. Our airbags deployed and no one was injured. I am thankful for the safety features on this vehicle. We were hit right in front of the drivers door and I honestly feel if we were in another vehicle my husband would have been killed. The car that hit us pushed us through a "bridge may be icy" sign that was put up on two landscape timbers and we broke through both landscape timbers. The car ran up along the whole side of the van damaging the entire drivers side. The passangers side was damaged by the road sign. It was very scary for us all but no glass broke and the air bags did their thing! I immediately called the dealer the next morning and told him I needed another van just like the one I had. He asked me to look at one...

TaraLee says "Like driving a high tech computer" about BMW 525 - 2006

I love to drive. Most of the cars I have owned have been german cars (VW, BMW, Mercedes-- I just like how the Germans make a car). —

I currently own 2 BMWs so when one goes into the shop I get a loaner car to drive about. Today it was the 525. I tend to own the SUV or convertible cars, so I was excited to put this car, a sedan, through the daily drive test. —

The interior was great, comfortable seats (with lumbar support) individual heat/ac controls for the 2 front seats, a good location for the drivers cup holder. All very nice. —

What I didn't like was the "stick" that one uses to determine your "gear". It looked almost like a big clunky cell phone, and as someone who drives a manual the automatic transmission shifting felt a little soft and I worried that I was not in the proper drive mode. The turn signal button is also far more sensitive than I am used to and I drove around all day with the blinkers on confusing others. —

The sound/information...

I am a big fan of the Honda Pilot. It is a very good car to drive and always is a smooth ride. One reason that I really lke it over the rest of the suvs on the market is the fact that is has alot of room but it does not drive like a truck. The problem with alot of suvs out there is that they are that the ones that drive like cars are always too small especially for me because I am tall. The Pilot has 3 rows of seats but drives likes a car and gives a ton of room for everyone in teh car. The navigation system is really great as well especially with the new 3d view when getting off the...

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (5.7L Hemi) provides a smooth, comfortable, and entertaining ride. The suspension setup on this vehicle gives a firmer ride than some of its competition, but rewards the driver with a better handling vehicle. It handles the curves of the mountainous terrain I live in better than any other SUV I have driven. Its 4 wheel drive system is stellar and gives confidence in bad weather travelling. It is a full time AWD system that requires no input from the driver. This causes a fuel economy penalty, but the system doesn't have to start slipping before it is activated like automated part-time systems (safer). This is one of the smallest mid-sized SUVs and the interior space suffers accordingly. On the other hand, it is one of the easiest SUVs to drive and park. If you have to have the space, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The biggest downfall of this vehicle is the gas mileage. At today's gas prices it can be painful to make long trips. Around...

We recently installed a K&N air filter on my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. We love it! It has improved my gas mileage greatly. I don't drive much and used to get gas every other week.
Those seeking a Harley sound should stick with Harley's. — That's always been the way I look at it, and I tire of being told that I need to put pipes on my bike to make it sound "more throaty". — My Boulevard is a great bike. Carrying myself and my wife (a combined 270 lbs-we're not big), this thing has a lot of punch left over, even climbing hills. Obviously if you're a bigger guy with a bigger gal, I suggest you move to a larger Boulevard. — The stock seats aren't bad, but can quickly be improved with a sissy bar for this mrs. The price is in the reasonable 7500 dollar range, which fits the bike. The shaft drive is nice for those of us who are chain-wary, and the only "should have" would be a tac-o-meter. — Overall, it's a solid bike for any level of rider, plenty of power for those of us in the small-mid size range. —...

The 2004 Kia Spectra has been an excellent buy for me. The interior is cofortable and well designed. The carpeting is easily cleaned because of its lack of shagginess. The 6 speaker sound system of the EX along with the power windows and locks are excellent and reliable. The 5-speed manual is a joy to drive and the 30-35 MPG makes for a much heavier, thicker wallet. I hope that the newer versions have kept the attributes of the '04 model. Great car!...

Owning a motorcycle means during the winter it probably won't see much daylight. At those times the battery still needs to be charged up to prevent damage and you need a battery charger to keep it at peak charge. In the old days you had to remember to go hook up the charger every few days and remember when to unhook it again so you didn't overcharge the battery. Those days are gone forever and now as the old saying goes...I can plug it and forget it! — — Black & Decker Smart Battery Charger — — This battery charger has 3 power levels to keep those batteries in good shape 6 amps, 4 amps and 2 amps. As the charge of the battery gets stronger it will step down on its own to give you the best your battery can have. Another sweet safety feature is the reverse polarity warning so you don't hook it up wrong and either damage the battery or cause a spark which would be very bad. — — This battery charger is smart in that it monitors the...

I love driving my STS. The ride is comfortable... far more so than the CTS. There's plenty of room in the truck for several sets of golf clubs. The stereo system is excellent, with many options available. I also like the moon roof which opens easily and quickly. The mileage per gallon is less than the CTS, at 24 mpg on the road. The keyless start is excellent and safe, provided you don't leave your keys at home. I have had a few problems with the GPS, however. Each time I have used it, I have been misdirected. —...

I'll save you all the specs and technical stuff, you can look that up.... This car has been fantastic. I've driven it every day through town and on road trips. It is comfortable, reliable, great handling, and stores well. I can carry a decent amount of cargo in the back with the rear seat folded flat. (A large mountain bike fits) The gas mileage is great because I got the 4 liter since I don't go off road. (The power is still plenty for everything I've done) The stereo sounds great, the seats are comfortable, plenty of leg room in front and back, A/C and heat work like a charm. I've had no real functional problems, the Highlander is...

The Acura TL 2004 is the best car ever made. — Acura TLs have been terrific - comfortable, pretty good mpg, quick enough and dead reliable. It's just that they were so, well... dowdy. The 2004 TL fixes that. It still has all the good things (well, most anyway) but now they're packaged with Italian-like flare. This one is flat gorgeous from every angle. But it's not perfect: I don't like the passenger seats and I think the engine's too powerful for a family-type front-drive sedan. —...

I've had my Yaris (4 door sedan AT) for about 2 months now. I use to have a Town & Country, so I realize there is a huge difference in comfort. Also, I guess my expectations of Toyota were much too high because I am not happy with the value. We lease the car and the payments aren't cheap. I regret not taking more time to shop around. Anyway, I am disappointed with a few cosmetic things, the handling and the gas mileage. I do drive mostly highway and am getting less than 30 mpg. I drive the speed limit so it's not my driving. I also feel like it sways too much on the highway. I thought there might be something wrong with it and brought it in for service, but I don't think they even tried to find the problem. The stereo speakers rattle and vibrate sometimes and again the service people said they couldn't duplicate the problem.
