cassslyke says "Very good book. " about Eragon

This is the first in a trilogy. A young boy, Eragon, finds what he believes to be a stone while hunting in the woods. He soon finds out that it is a dragon and he is the first of the new dragon riders, born to save the country from a cruel and powerful ruler, the last of the original dragon riders.

I do not want to give away too much of the plot. But I will say that this book follows Eragon as he bonds with his dragon, leaves home, and travels to a new place so that he can join in the fight against the King. Along the way he gains knowledge, experience, friends, and enemies. He encounters mystery, romance, death, and life. It will be exciting to see where his journeys lead.

I am not always a fan of fantasy, but I loved this book, as well as the sequal, although I do think the endings could be timed better. I can't wait to read the third and final book in the trilogy.
...

cassslyke says "Good idea, not quite sure of the quality." about Sony Ericsson - W300i Cell Phone

I was opening a new account so decided to get this phone at the special price. I was excited about the thought of having a radio and MP3 player on it. Not to mention internet access and a camera.

The radio works pretty good, but the only way to use it is with the antanae which is kind of a pain. I would prefer it built in. If anything happens to it you have to buy a new one.

If you want to get any amount of storage you need to buy the card.

It is not very sturdy. I had two short out on me so that I could not speak on it. The cause I was given, was water damage although the phones had never been put in water or really near water. The last replacement I got has very quiet speakers. Even with the volume turned up all the way I have a hard time hearing.

The buttons are very close together and it can be hard to punch in numbers.

Overall, it's an alright phone, but I would not get another one and I plan to switch as soon as I can. It is expensive for the quality.
...

cassslyke says "Be wary before you use." about National Tire & Battery - Everywhere, Everywhere

National Tire and Battery (NTB) is a chain battery and tire shop that also does basic mechanical work on a car such as oil changes or alignments.

I went to NTB for an oil change and alignment. They were local and new in town so I thought I'd give them a try. I liked that they had late hours even on a Saturday and they got me in and out quickly. Perhaps too quickly.

The next time we changed the oil my husband was the one to do it. Right away he ran into a problem. NTB had put the oil drain plug in too tight and stripped the threads. When he was finally able to bang and jiggle it loose it just spun in the threads. He could not get it in or out. I took it back so that NTB could fix the problem they created and the manager has thus far avoided taking blame. He will not admit it was because the plug was too tight, but tries to blame it on the oil pan. I had to wait 2 hours at least before he told me he couldn't do anything to get the plug out. While I was waiting another...
...
